"Stay away," Sebastian whispered as he threw his arms out, sheltering Hunter from Nick and Jeff.
"Why? Doesn't Hunter love Splenda?" Nick asked, grinning evilly as he and Jeff waved packets of Splenda in the air.
Hunter was curled up, shielding himself from the monstrous yellow packets, close to tears.
"HE HATES SPLENDA! YOU KNOW WHY?" Sebastian yelled, jumping up in the air, slow-mo karate kicking the packets out of Nick and Jeff's hands. The two warblers fly back, still in slow-mo, arms flailing before they fall in a heap on the ground.
"They taste like pencils," Sebastian muttered bitterly.
