FINALLY! I CAN UPDATE THIS FIC! (-*0*-)
So... For a looooooooooooooooooong weeks, I can't open Fanfiction due to it blocked 'thanks' my country's strict rules of even a slight mature things (before you ask, NO. I'm NOT into such stuff, thank you very much). (-_-")

Chapter 22 : Rematch of the Ice
Megaman yelps as he slipped on the slippery snowy ground as he went through a grey metal door, falling face-first to the thick snow as the metal door behind him closed.
"Ouch... I need to calculate how far I should jump next time," Megaman uttered, his voice was muffled by the thick snow. Then, as the Blue Bomber get himself off the snowy ground below, he looks around.
He's now at a narrow corridor, with the low ceiling composed of multiple green machine blocks just above his head. Another grey metal door could be seen a few meters before him.
The familiar feeling of doubt began to rise within him. He frowned, placing his right arm to his chest.
Why now...? the Blue Bomber thought, feeling a great anxiety from his doubts. And why am I... scared?
Megaman looked up to the grey metal door not far from him, clenching the arm he placed on his chest.
... Is it because of the sudden pain back before?
Megaman closed his eyes, trying to calm himself down as more feeling of dread flowed into him.
It took more than 15 minutes for the Blue Bomber to reduce the dread within him, replacing it with determination.
I can't turn back now... I have to keep going and finish this, Megaman thought, giving himself a firm nod. He then walks to the grey metal door in front of him and proceed forward.
Once he was on the other side of the grey metal door, Megaman was now inside a small room with heavy construction objects at the side, frozen at some parts. The ground was covered with snow as he expected, but it seems less thicker.
This place hasn't changed even a bit... Megaman thought, looking at the frozen part on the heavy construction objects at the side. It's still the same...
As the Blue Bomber set his bright green eyes to the frozen part, suddenly, it gleamed. It last for a second or two, but Megaman manage to caught a sight of it.
If I remember correctly, Megaman thought again, when those frozen parts gleamed, then that means...
Suddenly, a circle of pale blue light is made out of nowhere at the ground not far from Megaman. As the Blue Bomber gasped in surprise, the pale blue light flew up and transforming itself to nine small clouds of mist.
A serious look plastered on Megaman's face as he looked at the nine clouds of mist knowingly.
"When those frozen parts gleamed..." the Blue Bomber uttered, watching the nine small clouds of mist began to materialize itself to someone very familiar to him, "... then that means you're here, Coldman."
Soon enough, the small clouds of mist only left some trails behind before it dissipate, revealing Coldman at the spot, his deep red eyes looks deadpan yet serious at the same time.
"Megaman... It's been a long while since we last fought," Coldman said, red eyes looked straight into Megaman's green ones. "But last time, that troublesome robot 'SWN-001' is helping you out. Now it's just the two of us."
Megaman narrowed his eyes, looking uneasy. "Coldman... I believe you seek for... revenge? Over Bass... and me?"
At the statement, Coldman didn't say anything. Instead, he held out his right hand to the front as suddenly, pale blue mist shot out from his right hand as a thick rectangular ice block that pointy at the top is made right in front of the defensive ice-themed Robot Master. The sight surprises Megaman.
"Dr. Wily's upgrades are really something I should be proud of," Coldman uttered, looking deadpan yet serious. "Now I'm able to summon my weapon Ice Wall without making a wide opening for you to attack because I can summon them too from my very hands aside from my freezer."
Megaman's bright green eyes grew wide, shocked at how... dark Coldman speak to him.
But again, he had a grudge against me... and Bass, the Blue Bomber thought, noticing Coldman silently glared at him. I should have expect him to speak with such way to me...
"And to answer your question, Megaman..." Coldman suddenly spoke, bringing the Blue Bomber out from his thoughts. "Yes... You're VERY right, Megaman. I had a HUGE grudge against you ever since my defeat at your and 'SWN-001's hands."
Megaman felt his core miss a beat, feeling uneasy and a bit afraid— because somehow... he could see a bit purplish color at Coldman's deep red eyes... which reminds the Blue Bomber of what Aquaman had become back then.
T-That purplish color... Megaman thought, watching Coldman get to his fighting stance. I hope it's just my hallucinations...
The Blue Bomber fetch a deep breath and let it out as he switches his left arm to a Buster.
"Alright, Coldman," Megaman uttered, bringing his Buster arm up and points it to the defensive ice-themed Robot Master, "I believe you want a rematch with me... and I need to defeat you. So we're even. But know this, Coldman... I won't lose!"
Coldman humphed, looking at the Blue Bomber right in the eye. "We'll see about that, Megaman."
*Music Starts : Boss Battle (Megaman & Bass [GBA])*
With his right hand, Coldman punched the Ice Wall that he had made not a long ago, at the same time moving his left hand around to create another Ice Wall.
Megaman notice the incoming attack, quickly jumping into the air and over the Ice Wall, watching it broke to sharp ice pieces at the grey metal door behind, some were stuck at the door.
The Blue Bomber couldn't help but shuddered at the thought of what could happen if he hit the 'pointy' metal door.
Turning his attention back to Coldman, Megaman charges some energy into his Buster as he landed back to the ground...
However, what he saw once he get back to the ground is not what he expected.
Ice Wall.
In haste, Megaman clumsily stepped to the side, releasing his medium-charged shot to Coldman.
Both attacks hit their targets at the same time— while Coldman grunted for the pain he received from the medium-charged shot at his freezer, Megaman cried for the pain he got from the rectangular ice block that had hit his right hand hard and run over his right foot.
"Aaagh!" the Blue Bomber gritted his teeth, one eye closed. "Y-You make it bigger?!"
"Should I feel guilty?" Coldman said, still deadpan yet serious. "Because I think I feel happy right now to know I'm the one who give my enemy a bigger damage."
Megaman narrowed his eyes, teeth still grinding together. "C-Coldman... Y-You've changed... a lot."
"Which is something you should have expect, Megaman," the defensive ice-themed Robot Master said. "We both were redesigned by our creators, so that means we're also upgraded."
Creating Ice Wall with his left hand, Coldman punched it forward, watching Megaman manage to dodge it as the Robot Master create another from his freezer.
"That's not what I'm talking about!" Megaman exclaimed, firing a fully charged shot to Coldman. "What I mean is how you really mad at me!"
Seeing this, Coldman quickly punched another Ice Wall he made, but not quick enough to evade Megaman's fully charged shot.
"Ugh!" Coldman grunted in pain, but quickly regain his balance so he won't fall.
"... Mad?" the defensive ice-themed Robot Master uttered. "Why isn't that normal, Megaman? For someone like me who really want to defeat you, I should be... mad..."
Coldman slowly raised both his arms up, pale blue clouds of mist began to shot out from both hands as it blocks Megaman's view of the Robot Master.
W-What's going on...? Megaman thought, quietly charging energy into his Buster. Still... I better be prepared for—
Whoosh!
Bright green eyes widened in shock as Megaman realized something went past him— almost hitting him. Before the Blue Bomber could overcome his shock, a sound of something breaking caught him off guard, making him gasps and instantly turned around.
Turns out what went past him just now was Ice Wall, which broke and make more sharp ice pieces stuck at the grey metal door behind.
The Blue Bomber couldn't help but shuddered once again at the thought of him hitting the 'pointy' door.
"... What's wrong, Megaman?"
Upon hearing Coldman's voice, Megaman whirled and gasps as he swiftly move to the side to avoid another Ice Wall going after him, making more sharp ice pieces at the grey metal door.
"And here I thought you said that you won't lose..."
As the thick clouds of mist cleared, Coldman was seen once again. However, what shocked Megaman was there are LOTS of Ice Walls around the defensive ice-themed Robot Master, ready to launched anytime.
"You don't really mean it, Megaman?" Coldman said, somehow taunting. The Robot Master then raised both his hands up, his eyes— that once colored brilliant red— were changed to deep purple, much to Megaman's horror.
"Well... I think I'm going to change that."
With those words— spoken very darkly and almost deadpan— Coldman brought both his arms down, sending all the Ice Walls around him towards Megaman.
Even when he had seen the upcoming attack, the Blue Bomber not make a move to avoid it.
He was frozen in spot, and what overcome his positive thoughts was... fear.
Megaman's mind was focused to the memory where Aquaman goes... berserk... and attack him until he falls to a 'coma'. The memory was so bad that it made the Blue Bomber somewhat a bit trauma...
WHAM!
Megaman remained wide-eyed in horror as multiple Ice Walls struck him, sending him towards the 'pointy' metal door. His mind— the poor terrified thing— couldn't process what's going happen to him, the color deep purple is the only thing his mind could think of...
It was when his body collides to the 'pointy' metal door that he snapped out from his fear. Screaming in pain, Megaman felt his energy decreased drastically as he felt himself stuck at the 'pointy' metal door.
"A-AAAAAAAAAAHHH!"
Megaman gritted his teeth, his eyes closed shut as he tried to bear the tremendous pain from his whole body, courtesy of the Ice Walls' sharp pieces.
Coldman hoped he could smirk upon seeing what happen, his eyes— which color had changed from red to deep purple unbeknownst to him— focused at his immobile blue enemy.
"Heh... Just like I want," Coldman casually walks to Megaman. "Looks like victory is mine, Megaman..."
Megaman didn't reply to Coldman's statement, lowering his head instead and bit his lip to fight back the tremendous pain going through his whole body.
"Well," Coldman stops right before his immobile enemy, "I'll end this quick then... Goodbye, Megaman."
Coldman held out his right hand to the side, pale blue mist shot out from his right hand as an Ice Wall was made at his right side.
The defensive ice-themed Robot Master was about to send the Ice Wall to Megaman when he heard his immobile enemy spoke.
"N-... No..." the Blue Bomber muttered as he shook his head. "I-I can't lose... N-Not when I almost reached Dr. Wily and stop him once more..."
Coldman humphed. "Oh? Well, I'm sorry, Megaman. Looks like I'm going to beat you here, so I guess you'll never face Dr. Wily," the Robot Master said, almost sarcastically.
Megaman gritted his teeth. "N-No... I won't... l-lose..." the Blue Bomber uttered, and suddenly, his body glowed and a bit change was done to the Blue Bomber's armor— his body suit transformed in color from light blue to yellow, while his cobalt armor changed in color to a deep orange.
"W-Won't... lose..." Megaman slowly looks up, looking at Coldman right in the eye with determination...
However, from Coldman's side, the Robot Master saw something shocking from his immobile enemy.
Determination indeed written all over Megaman's face, but the Blue Bomber seems to unaware that strange red sparks was coming out from his body. Not only that...
The Blue Bomber also not notice that a strange black color swirled within his bright green orbs.
"I... c-can't..." Megaman manage to free his right hand from being stuck at the 'pointy' door, transforming it to a Buster, "l-lose... HERE!"
With those words, Megaman let out a loud cry as he brought his Buster right before Coldman, and before the defensive ice-themed Robot Master could react, the Blue Bomber fires a small fireball to the ground right below Coldman.
When the small fireball finally touches the ground, however, something shocking happens.
The small fireball grows to a huge flame pillar that engulfs Coldman inside, making the defensive ice-themed Robot Master cried aloud in agony as he felt an extreme jolt of pain spun within his body, indicating that he was attacked with a weapon that became his weakness.
"U-UAAAAAAAAGH!"
While that happens, the ice shards that stuck at the metal door melts due to the hot heat from the huge flame pillar, freeing Megaman as he fell face-first to the ground.
As Coldman still cried out in pain, Megaman finally reached the ground as he let out a light gasp, looking as if he just woke up from sleep with a start, the strange red sparks coming from his body and the black color in his green eyes were gone.
"W-... What the..." Megaman pushed himself up from the ground with his hands, managing to do so on his knees. When the Blue Bomber brought his head up in wonder, his eyes widened in shock as he saw Coldman within the huge flame pillar while screaming in pain.
Looking down to himself in wonder, the Blue Bomber gasped.
"F-... Flame Blast...?" Megaman uttered, looking at himself in disbelief. "N-No way... Flame Blast wasn't suppose to be this big..."
The Blue Bomber brought his left hand to his head, looking confused.
"So strange..." Megaman muttered, closing his eyes as he lowered his head. "I don't remember activating the weapon data Flame Blast... I pass out when I got stuck at the metal door because of the ice shards... So how?"
Megaman's eyes shot open as he heard Coldman's cries got louder a few minutes later. Looking up, the Blue Bomber saw the huge flame pillar gone in a flash. Then, he watched Coldman fell to his knees, sparks coming out from all around his badly damaged body.
*Music Ends*
"T-Tch..." Coldman seems to slowly lose his strength as he fall to the ground, shocking Megaman. "Y-You're... even s-stronger... t-than before..."
"C-Coldman..." Megaman had no idea what to say. He even had no clue that he executed Flame Blast to the defensive ice-themed Robot Master! "I-I... I'm—"
"—the victor... A-Again," Coldman interrupted, closing his eyes. "W-When will I... win against you? U-Ugh... It's a-always you... w-who become the victor... i-in the end..."
Megaman didn't say anything, too confused of what to say. Accepting the fact that he had beaten Coldman even when he had no idea how, the Blue Bomber walks and stop beside the defensive ice-themed Robot Master, kneeling beside him.
Carefully, Megaman placed his left arm to the defensive ice-themed Robot Master's body. When he did, something was flowing through his left arm before it spread completely inside his body.
"I'm sorry, Coldman..." Megaman stood up, frowning. "I truly had no idea what happen that I won... But I have to take your data."
Coldman was surprised upon hearing this. "W-... What?" the Robot Master looks up to Megaman. "Y-You'll just... leave me be?"
"There's nothing more I can do to you," Megaman replied with a shook of his head. "I've... hurt you... more than enough. I-I can't bring myself to hurt you much more than this..."
Coldman looks as if he was disgusted. "W-... What on Earth, MEGAMAN?!" the Robot Master roared aloud, sounding angry. "Y-You feel sorry... f-for your enemy?! T-... THAT'S ABSURD! I CAN'T BELIEVE THIS!"
Megaman just closed his eyes, still frowning, and turn away from Coldman.
"I DON'T NEED YOUR KINDNESS!" Coldman yelled angrily. "IT DISGUSTS ME TO NO END!"
Despite being told to not show kindness, Megaman couldn't do it. It just felt... wrong if he do as Coldman says. "... I'm sorry..."
"MEGAMAN! STOP HURTING MY PRIDE!" Coldman yelled angrily, red eyes glaring at his blue-armored enemy— whose back facing him.
Knowing that there's nothing he could do to calm Coldman down, Megaman decides to not involved further with Coldman's personal problem. With a feeling of guilt, the Blue Bomber initiate a silent command to teleport back home. As he do so, his body slowly materialized to a blue light.
"C-... CURSE YOU, MEGAMAN!"
Megaman shocked upon hearing Coldman's remark, but made no comment of it. He just frowns sadly instead as he was gone from the place in a beam of blue light...
Weapon Get : Ice Wall! :D
Megaman manages to beat(?) Coldman, even when he had no idea how?! O.o
Anyways, how's Roll doing with her quest to defeat the undentified Robot Master...?
