Sorry I took so long to post something. I still have a "Writer's block" and I'm tempted to leave. But I'm just sticking around because I know that writing is one of the things I do best. But I think I need to recover from this "disease". So please be patient, I do not want to leave now nor ever. I hope to continue writing for you people. Thanks for all the Support BTW! And I hope you like this one!
Kale wipes the lens of the camera clean with a rag. He greets it with a maniacal grin. Finally he snaps the clapper in front of it.
"Go!" Yelled Kale.
"Please welcome the lovely LoveyLoo!"
LOVEYLOO
A sign dings dinged as it highlighted the artist's name.
Lovey proceeded to enter the stage, waving a red, feathered wing decorated with varying shades of yellows and oranges. Her little rubber boots squeaked as she approached the chair that resided in the middle of the stage and promptly sat down upon it. "Hi, Phineas! Nice to meet you."
"Welcome to our show! We're very happy to have you here, most especially our director, Kale, who specially requested your presence!"
Lovey smiled in appreciation. "Aww, did you really, Kale? That means a lot!"
"Yeah! He really did! Anyway, So could you describe life as a Phoenix…. or a dog? Wait…. you can transform into two animals?" Asked Phineas.
Lovey laughed. "Are you talking about my profile picture? Oh, that's Scout. He's a pet in our house. My life can be a bit of a pain, living in the house of humans. There are lots of things to burn, so that makes it pretty hard to stay out of trouble. Although, they love me lots. The farm life is pretty cool, because you get to do lots of chores and help out around the house and stuff."
"Wow! You have a pet dog? Sweet! You know we used to have a pet dog back when we were toddlers! We did tons of stuff together! But then he... he..."
All of a sudden the two brothers began to look depressed.
"Uh oh!" Said Isabella. "S-somebody do something!"
Lovey fluttered over to the redhead, enveloping him in a big, fluffy hug. "Oh, Phineas, don't worry. I'm sure you'll see him again! He's probably looking down on you from somewhere up above right now. It'll be alrighty, I promise."
Phineas sniffed. "Bucky..."
"Sometimes you have to let go of things in the past, Phin," the phoenix said, looking the boy directly in the eyes. "You have Perry now. Do you think you would have gotten
Perry if you didn't lose Bucky?"
"... But I could've kept them both at the same time... We'd play fetch... He and Perry would be best friends... And and... We'd we'd 0be... happy together."
"Aw buddy." Said Isabella as she approached. "Wanna hug?"
"... Yeah..." Said Phineas shyly.
They hug each other warmly. The crowd awes.
Phineas sniffed. "Thanks buddy."
"No problem... Buddy." She winked and walked back to her post.
"You okay Ferb?" Asked Phineas.
He blew his nose with his purple handkerchief and dabbed his eyes.
"You want a hug too?"
Ferb stared at his brother, eye brows creased in utter horror. He gaped in shock, slowly backing away.
"A bro hug, of course."
He smiled and sighed in relief. They embraced each other with their right arms and lightly pounded each others backs.
The crowd awes.
"Okay. Next question. How do you write, especially since you're a blazing hot Phoenix? Do you require any safety precautions?"
"As a matter of fact," Lovey said, pointing to her rubber boots. "That's exactly why I wear these. When I walk around, these things have a very 'flame-resistant' surface in them, which keeps them from melting, or catching on fire. When I type, I have to go slow, and take breaks, otherwise I might burn the keys. But I usually have my abilities under control, so it isn't much of a trouble. it's just when I'm excited or angry that it gets bad."
Phineas grinned. "So, how do you get your wings to point, considering you're a bird?"
Lovey looked down at her wings. "A phoenix bird has a few more muscles in its wings than normal birds. This is a fraction of what makes me different from other birds. I have special muscles in my wingtips that allow me to move my feathers like fingers. But, they're not nearly as strong as real fingers. They're as close as I can get to hands, though."
The crowd wows.
"Wow! That's interesting! When did you learn how to do that?"
"I learned later in life that most phoenixes most phoenixes don't learn that ability until pretty late in life... But I guess seeing all you guys and pretty little fingers and toes made me want to learn how to do that, too. I mean, opposable thumbs? C'mon! How cool it that?" The phoenix said, throwing her wings up in the air and marveling at the wonders of the human race.
"Woah! You're on fire!" Said Phineas a bit excitedly.
Unfortunately throwing your wings up causes your wings to ignite.
Lovey's eyes widened in realization. "Oh, crud!" The phoenix quickly brought her wings down from the air, desperately avoiding any contact with a surface of any sort. "Sorry about that, I didn't mean for that to happen... Like I said, things get a little hard to control when I get excited. Who doesn't get excited about, humans, though?"
"Agreed. Uhh is it okay if Kale thinks you're a duck? I mean, he bought a lot of bread for your arrival."
Lovey put on a lopsided grin. "...a duck? Well, I guess so, considering a duck is a bird, too... But I've never seen a red duck before. But, if he brought bread, I'm not complaining."
"Okay! Looks like you're gonna have your feeding session after all boss!"
"Wooohooooo!" Yelled the minion behind the camera.
"So Kale's been doing a bit of research and... He says he absolutely loves your paintings and drawings."
Lovey's eyes widened in surprise. "Are you serious? Gosh, that... That means so much to me. I'm not that popular, though."
"For some particular reason he doesn't want to show me the art that he likes." Said Phineas suspiciously.
"Hmm... I wonder why," Lovey replied knowingly, casting a glance at the minion.
The minion snickered.
"But I've been doing my own research too and I stumbled into some... Comic series? Forum?... It was an ask me and Isabella kind of thing."
"I loved that one," Isabella giggled.
Lovey shifted on her seat, trying to evade the eyes of the redhead, an embarrassed grin on her face. "Um, yeahh... Don't look at that until something... Um... Special happens between you and Isabella. But, it is there if you wanna see it."
Phineas looked suspicious. "What kind of special is that?... Wait…. It isn't one of those….. things again is it?"
Lovey giggled. "You mean... romance?"
"Ooooo!" Said the audience.
Phineas laughed nervously. "Next question. Do you have any special friends you want to mention?"
Lovey grinned and looked over the crowd. "Actually, there is," she said, pointing and waving to a specific figure in the mob of people. "I just wanna point out Gali, also known as Galaxina-The-Seedrian, and thank her for being such a beautiful and wonderful friend. There is truly no one as unique and ablahmacaspork as you. You've encouraged me on through some of my hardest times, and I really wish we had more time to talk together. That geography gap can't hold us apart!"
"Where does she live?"
"She lives in Illinois, while I reside down back in Georgia."
"Aw that's pretty far."
"Yeah," the phoenix replied. "But even though she's far away, I still have the biggest laughs with her. She makes me feel all warm and fuzzy on the inside. We barely have any time to talk to each other anymore, though."
The crowd awes, some of them sniff and cry a bit.
"That's really touching. So before we end the show, could you give us a performance number here?"
Lovey grinned nervously. "Oh geeze, I dunno. I don't think that's the safest thing to do in here... But, if you really wanna, I can do a little trick or two."
The phoenix then proceeded to hop out of her chair and cautiously approach the middle of the stage, taking care to move any hazardous objects out of the way.
"Ready?" she said, raising a wing tip.
"Yeah! Give it your best Lovey!" Said Phineas.
"Okay, here goes nothing!" the phoenix said, bringing the wing down, releasing a trail of fire, glowing with golden light. It was as if embers themselves were emanating from the feathers as they began to glow. The display was glorious with the colors of passionate red, energizing orange, and golden yellows.
"Wow! That's a cool fire! Could you fly around the studio even with your wings ablaze?"
"Yeah, I guess so!" Lovey replied, beginning to flap the fiery wings and leave the ground. The phoenix took off in a blazing trail of color, not only yellows, oranges, and reds leaving the tips of the feathers, but beautiful blues, purples and greens mixed with the air as well. The picture was gorgeous. The bird proceeded to soar across the heads of the crowd, being sure to gain a highfive with Galaxina-The-Seedrian. All was a fantastic display of fun, before the smoke alarm sensed the fires coming from Lovey and began to wail. The fire went unnoticed, much of the stuff around the studio was on fire. The minion panicked and ran to find the nearest fire extinguisher.
"Uh oh! Looks like the sprinklers are activating!" Isabella shouted her warning.
"Take Cover!" Yelled Buford.
Everyone ran to a shade, except for Kale who was too busy panicking and searching.
Lovey's eyes widened in shock as the water from the sprinklers began to rain down upon the studio, taking the bird completely by surprise. The audience panicked and ran out of the studio to prevent themselves from getting wet. The phoenix then proceeded to promptly land near the side of the stage. "Sorry for the shower, everyone! But I guess it's the least I can do to give everyone their daily cleaning right? Personally, I hate showers. But hey, everyone's gotta get clean sometimes, right?"
Lovey then giggled as she pulled a shower cap and a brush out from behind the curtains. She then applied the cap to her red, feathered head and comically scrubbed the brush along her downy back.
Phineas peeked out from behind the curtains with an umbrella and looked at the camera. "Well, while our guest cleans up, let's wrap this up. LoveyLoo Everybody!"
"Bye, guys! It was a pleasure meeting y'all," the phoenix said.
The panicked minion finally found an extinguisher and one spot was still on fire. He clipped the operating levers but nothing happened. He did it again, with more force but it did not function properly once again. He began to strangle it around and bang it against the floor, cracking it and causing it to leak. The extinguisher flew around the studio like a rocket. The minion ducked for cover. Eventually it crash landed on the fire, putting it out. The whole time Phineas watched him blankly. Embarrassed, the minion pulled out the director's clapper and clapped it in front of the camera.
