Six years after the Second Rebellion, Panem is divided as the majority Outliers discriminate its minority Career and Capitolite populations. Two groups fight each other amidst the turmoil. On one side, the all-Outlier Rebels. On the other, the all-Career Cadets. Meanwhile, two teens from wildly different backgrounds would meet and befriend each other as the situation escalates.

Katniss Everdeen is the Mockingjay: the face of the Rebellion. But without Peeta, she knows that she could never go on.
