Holy Cannoli I'm back! Guys, I am so sorry that it took me so long to finally get back into writing this story. I seriously am. I hope you can forgive me as I work on finishing this story. All of the well wishes and amazing reviews and PM's touched my heart like no other and it made me smile and even cry a little knowing how much you all love this story. Seriously, thank you.

Little update before letting you guys get to reading: I am done with school! I graduated with a masters in counseling and have successfully moved into my own place (with a roommate of course). I also have a new job that will take a lot of time and energy from me but will not drain my creative juices!

And now, enjoy!

Jack held Hiccup's hand as he walked into the small warehouse where his "crew" was getting ready to shoot another day of video. Hiccup wasn't quite impressed by the outside of the dilapidated building but once Jack turned the corner with him, he was stunned.

Pascal had gone all out getting the set ready for shooting. The walls were all neon and glow in the dark splatters that complimented one another and had an almost 3D look to it. Baby Tooth was putting some finishing touches on a black leather jacket that had subtle paint stains on it. Flynn was setting up and making sure he had all of his cameras ready to film Jack at all angles.

Jack grinned at Hiccup who smiled nervously back at him.

"Jack!" Baby said excitedly and then practically gushed, "You brought him!" she squealed happily and jumped up and down.

Flynn and Pascal followed her over to meet Hiccup who looked awkwardly at them.

"Uh…hi…" Hiccup said nervously.

Flynn held out his hand, "Flynn Rider. Nice to meet you." He said kindly, "I'm filming."

Hiccup shook his hand and nodded.

"Jack he looks better in person!" Baby Tooth gushed as she shook Hiccup's hand excitedly, "I'm Baby Tooth! I design clothing and I have to say you would be the best model for my jumpsuit ideas."

Pascal rolled his eyes and nodded to Hiccup, "Pascal, I paint."

"N-nice to meet you all," Hiccup said with a slight shake to his voice, "Jack's told me a lot about you."

Baby grinned innocently, "All good of course." She stated boldly, "And he tells us only the best about you."

"Good to know." Hiccup chuckled and nudged Jack softly with his elbow who nudged him back encouragingly.

"Is it okay that Hiccup watches us film for today?" He asked.

They all agreed to it as Jack put his guitar case down to get it set up.

"Your pants and shirt are ready, Jack." Baby said in a more professional tone, "But give me just two more minutes on the jacket and then we'll get you all dolled up." She smiled.

"Sounds good." Jack said with a smile.

Hiccup looked around and then smiled at Jack, "How long did it take you guys to do this?" he asked.

Jack shrugged, "We started planning it in the fall, but then we began filming after New Year's. Yesterday the set was a winter wonderland scene with snowflakes and such." He admitted.

Hiccup's eyes widened, "You mean you guys literally changed the set completely in one night?!"

Jack nodded proudly, "Yep!"

"How long is this whole thing gonna take?" Hiccup asked Jack.

"The contest is not until April so we have time, but after we finish filming, we edit, record my song, upload it and then promote it." He explained, "That alone will take a while but we're a good team."

"Sounds like it." Hiccup said as he continued to admire the handiwork Jack and his team put into making this video a success.

Jack tuned his guitar and led Hiccup over to Flynn, "Can Hiccup stand here?" he asked.

"Sure! I won't interrogate him." Flynn teased and then nodded towards Pascal, "Now he will."

Pascal stuck out his tongue that had a glittering piercing on it and then went back to painting.

"All done!" Baby sang as she rushed over to Jack, "Let's get you ready, mister!"

Jack saluted Hiccup and ran to get changed behind a Japanese folding screen that had been set up specifically for changes.

Hiccup signed and crossed his arms nervously. He felt like he was surrounded by Jack's world and when it hit him he couldn't help but feel sad. This must be how Jack was feeling about going to the Theta retreat with Hiccup.

"Don't be shy, dude. We're nice, I promise." Flynn chuckled, "Here, do you know how to put a camera together?"

Hiccup shrugged, "A little, it's not rocket science or anything." He admitted.

Flynn handed him some parts, "Mind letting me put you to work?" he asked.

"Sure." Hiccup smiled, glad that he was at least being somewhat useful here.

"You're an engineering major, right?" Flynn asked him, obviously making small talk.

Hiccup nodded, "Yeah."

Flynn nodded as well, obviously looking for something else to talk about.

"Where are you from?" Hiccup decided to help.

"Oh, out of state." Flynn admitted, "I got here on a scholarship."

"Nice." Hiccup smiled, "Bet your folks are proud."

"I'm sure they are…wherever they are." Flynn said softly as he looked towards the ceiling, smiling.

"I'm so sorry!" Hiccup gasped, realizing his blunder.

"Nah, it's okay. It wasn't a completely troubling childhood." Flynn shrugged.

"If it makes you feel any better, I know what it's like to lose your parents." Hiccup admitted.

Flynn nodded sadly, "Doesn't make me feel better but I do feel less alone." He smiled kindly, "Thanks."

Hiccup nodded again and went back to work. He was relieved when Jack came out from behind the screen looking awesome in shredded black pants, black lace up boots, and a loose fitting black Henley shirt underneath the leather jacket. He wore a few simple chains around his neck. Hiccup noticed that his hair had some small paint splatters on it as well and he wondered how Jack felt about different colors in his perfectly white hair. Hiccup of all people knew how hard it was to maintain the white color.

But Jack was relaxed and appeared ready to go.

He got his guitar ready as Hiccup finished setting up one of Flynn's cameras. Hiccup watched with bated breath as Jack readied himself and took a breath. He found Hiccup and smiled, his blue eyes twinkling with mischief.

"That's the look!" Flynn nodded happily, "Hiccup I'm gonna be telling you where to stand in some parts. I think Jack seeing you is gonna really make a difference."

Hiccup couldn't help but feel his chest puff up proudly at that. He was the reason Jack had a glow in his eyes. He loved it.

Flynn held up his hand and counted down, "Five. Four. Three. Two…One!"

Hiccup was stunned when the lights went off suddenly and Jack's dark silhouette contrasted against the edgy paint splatters that glowed in the dark.

And then…Hiccup heard him…Jack singing.

His voice was incredible and he'd obviously gotten better on the guitar because he sounded like a true star. Hiccup closed his eyes as Jack sang the words to the song he'd written for Hiccup, a song about finding your center, something that made you who you were, what made you a better person. And Jack's center was Hiccup.

Before he knew it, the song was over and the lights went on. Hiccup watched in awe as Jack sang the song over again but he would begin to move around or try looking at another camera. It went on for a few hours until Jack finished the fifth try and Flynn shouted, "Perfect! Ten minutes and I'll have you start doing some random action shots!"

Jack grinned and put his guitar down to walk over to Hiccup, "What you think?"

Hiccup couldn't even speak he was so impressed with his boyfriend, "You better make sure the world knows you're taken."

Jack brought Hiccup close to him, "Better believe it."

"Jack this is incredible." Hiccup told him sincerely, "You're totally gonna win, all of you."

Jack shrugged, "I'd like to hope so. But even if we don't, I'm glad I got to do this."

Hiccup nodded.

"So…we'll be done in about an hour…" Jack told him, "After that, I'll ask the crew about next week."

"Jack…I told you before you don't have to go with me…" Hiccup began, "I get why you're nervous about going. I can stay."

"No. If you can do this, I can do it too." He smiled.

Hiccup put his arms around Jack's neck and hugged him.

"Ready?" Flynn called.

"Almost." Jack called back as he bent down to kiss Hiccup quickly but deeply. Hiccup melted into him and smiled.

Jack broke from him and walked over to his guitar.

"Break a leg." Hiccup told him fondly, "But not really. I only have one leg on me."

Jack cracked up as Flynn turned on the camera.

…..

Jack's leg shook as they got closer to the ferry that was going to take them to Cape Cod. They'd had a good four hour drive so far but were almost there. They'd passed the time playing music and catching up. Granted they stopped for gas or food, but it was mostly a swift drive just the two of them.

But now that they were getting close to where Hiccup's fraternity brothers waited, Jack couldn't deny that he was nervous.

Hiccup on the other hand was looking excited and that was what kept Jack from jumping out of the car. Jack could tell that Hiccup was dying to show Jack his brotherhood and to be honest, Jack was tickled Hiccup wanted to include Jack in this part of his life, but it still didn't stop Jack from remembering the night he was attacked by a bunch of guys who he thought were civil once. Sure he'd been seeing a shrink and everything but Jack wouldn't even begin to label himself as "cured".

"Yes!" Hiccup cheered, "Finally!"

Jack looked up and noticed the ferry coming into view. Hiccup took out his ticket and rolled down his window as a man guarding the gate stopped them.

"Need to see some ID." The guy said calmly and Hiccup immediately shoved the ticket and his ID at the guy.

It took all of two seconds and the man was motioning for Hiccup to park on the ferry following the guides.

Hiccup smiled and Jack felt as if he were about to vomit.

Once they'd parked, Jack decided that he needed to try harder to smile and appear excited. He did not want Hiccup to think he was backing out now. Course he couldn't anyways since Hiccup was his ride home.

Hiccup undid his seatbelt and opened the car door and Jack followed his lead. He immediately felt the chilly wind, smelled the sea salt, and heard seagulls calling to one another overhead. He couldn't help but smile a little as he looked over towards the side of the ferry. Hiccup was at his side instantly, grinning like a buffoon, "I can't believe I'm going on a fraternity trip with my boyfriend!" Hiccup admittedly happily, "I heard they have so many fun things to do in the next few days. Jack we're gonna have a blast!"

"I'm sure." Jack swallowed.

Hiccup suddenly frowned and Jack wanted to punch himself.

"Jack…" Hiccup asked, "You…you are feeling okay about this, right?"

"Of course!" Jack defended, feeling that at least he was only half lying, "Hiccup I want to experience this with you."

"You look green…" Hiccup told him bluntly, "And like you're about to shit yourself."

Jack sighed and looked down, hands going into his pockets, "I won't lie I'm just…I've been so on edge since my fight with Pitch that meeting groups of guys just sort of…"

Hiccup finally nodded and took Jack's hand, "You know I won't let anything happen to you. And trust me, these guys, they aren't like that. Not one bit."

Jack finally released a shaky breath, "Hiccup I don't want to be the cause of you choosing between your friends and me."

Hiccup rolled his eyes, "Don't be dramatic. You know that's not going to happen, and even if it does, I will always choose you. You're my everything. You know I'd never pick ass holes over you."

Jack's stomach lifted at that and he found himself feeling slightly more confident, "I trust you."

Hiccup smiled at him, squeezing his hand, "We're going to have fun, now say it with me."

Jack repeated what Hiccup said a few times before finally just relaxing and realizing that he hadn't been to Cape Cod in years. He'd come with his family when he was just a teen. His dad had been training a few states away but his aunts and uncles had decided to have a family gathering on the island to distract everyone from missing him so much. Jack remembered having a great time with everyone and knew he'd have even better memories with Hiccup. He pulled his boyfriend to his side and watched as the ferry took off and the island came into view.

…..

"HADDOCK!" A few people cheered loudly and Hiccup nearly turned red as he was pulled in for 'brotherly' hugs. Jack smiled thinking how cute it was that Hiccup had these giants patting him on the back and welcoming him with open arms.

"Who's the lucky lady?" One of them growled jokingly.

Hiccup rolled his eyes and pulled on Jack's hand to introduce him, "Guys, this is my boyfriend, Jack. Be nice."

Jack was ready for an insult or for the group to ignore him, but instead, he was pulled in for hugs and well wishes.

"Nice to meet you!"

"Good to see Hiccup at least has good taste."

"We'll keep him in line for you."

Jack was stunned to say the least as he was let go to stand next to Hiccup again. He hardly heard Hiccup introduce them one by one.

"That's Norbert, that's Guy, and that one over there is Jensen." He continued as he walked Jack through the crowd of Theta's to make sure Jack was introduced.

Jack felt better once he started noticing mostly women crowding around near the window and had a feeling they were girlfriends of the Theta's. Some of the girls wore a green and white logo on their shirts but other's looked as normal as he did.

"Oh! I have to introduce you to Bork!" Hiccup said excitedly as he dragged Jack along.

Jack walked up to a red-headed burly figure who turned around and lit up when he saw Hiccup, "Hiccup!" he called excitedly.

"Hey Bork, this is Jack." Hiccup said with as much enthusiasm as Bork.

Bork shook Jack's hand and smiled, "Hiccup tells us all about you. He says you really put up with us taking all his time away from you." He teased.

Jack didn't know what to say other than, "I hope it's only good stuff."

Bork chuckled, "Any friend of a Theta is family to us."

Jack relaxed a little at that, "Thanks."

Hiccup puffed out his chest proudly before someone in the crowd was yelling at everyone to shut up loudly.

Jack stared at Hiccup who merely grinned awkwardly and shrugged, "You get used to it."

Jack looked up as a giant of a man wearing a Theta shirt smiled proudly, "Welcome fellow brothers, family, and friends to the annual Theta retreat! My name is Alvin and I am the Theta president."

The Theta's began to cheer and stomp.

Alvin shushed them, "I just wanted to go over real quick what the schedule will be for the next few days and then you can grab your keys and head to your rooms. But first, some ground rules," He continued, "If you are sharing with another couple no doing the do unless the others are out of the room."

Jack turned beet red at that as others laughed.

"Also, keep the rooms clean, no breaking shit or making a mess. And no underage drinking or you will be removed from the premises." He threatened, "Now onto business. Tonight we are hosting a midnight viewing of Sinister in the Hotel theatre system, if you want to come down and watch, feel free. There will be snacks, but bring your own drinks."

Jack looked over at Hiccup who was grinning once more.

"Tomorrow we eat breakfast no later than 9 in the lobby. At noon we begin the barbeque with games and activities outside. After lunch we will have swimming, fishing, and other various activities to choose from on the island all day. Around seven is a crab bake. In the evening we will have the annual Theta-Phi Scavenger hunt. I will announce after the scavenger hunt the schedule for the next day. Please be civil, gents and ladies, and try not to act like shitheads."

The Theta's guffawed at that and clapped as Alvin finished his speech.

"Let's get our keys." Hiccup said to Jack.

Jack followed him and grabbed his key card and was told that his luggage had already been taken to his room. Hiccup pulled Jack towards the elevator and squeezed on with a few other Theta's.

Hiccup obviously felt comfortable but Jack was feeling slightly claustrophobic. He seriously wanted to get to the room and have some privacy with Hiccup. He hoped by getting some alone time to talk to Hiccup would calm him down before any activities.

Jack breathed a sigh of relief as the doors opened and he, Hiccup, and a few others got out.

"Sweet, we're next to you Haddock!" one of the Theta's cheered as Hiccup stopped at their room, "Any other brothers rooming with you?"

"No, just me and Jack." Hiccup smiled.

"Sweet, well, we're gonna have some drinks in our room and you two are welcome to have some. We won't tell." The Theta winked.

Hiccup chuckled, "We'll consider it."

Jack kept his head down and finally felt he could breathe again when Hiccup turned on the lights to the room and laughed, "Whoa!"

Jack couldn't help but mimic him, they'd gotten an awesome room. It was huge with a king sized bed and a giant flat screen TV. Not only that but there were two chairs, a desk, and a giant glass window that was currently hiding the view outside with curtains.

Jack went to open the curtains and gasped when he saw a beautiful ocean view. Hiccup stood beside him and smiled, "This is awesome."

"Maybe this won't be so bad." Jack agreed, not realizing he had spoken aloud. He cringed when Hiccup turned to him questioningly.

"What do you mean?" Hiccup asked him, frowning and looking troubled, "Jack, seriously, what's up with you?"

Jack stared at the floor, "It's nothing. I'm just being stupid."

"No, Jack you need to tell me what's wrong or we're leaving." Hiccup threatened.

Jack finally met his eyes and was relieved that Hiccup didn't look angry but merely puzzled.

"I'm just…I'm not just nervous about meeting all your brothers…I'm terrified."

"Jack, you saw how welcoming they were just now. Not only that but they really are softies."

Jack went to the bed and sat down, "I know they are, Hiccup and I trust you…I just…ever since Valentine's Day..." Jack said sadly, looking exhausted.

Hiccup stared at him, feeling horrible for not seeing how scared Jack really was and not taking his thoughts into consideration better, "Jack…we can go, seriously. Or we can skip some stuff, I won't cry over it, seriously."

"No, Hiccup, I need to do this. I can do this. Just…promise me that you'll stay with me. Please."

"Anything, Jack." Hiccup smiled, "I can't believe you're so willing to do this for me."

Jack finally smiled back, "Of course. You know I'd lasso the moon for you if I could."

Hiccup laughed at that, "Let's not get ahead of ourselves."

"So…you wanna see that movie tonight?" Jack asked him.

"Hell yeah." Hiccup smiled, "I haven't seen that one yet."

"Me neither." Jack admitted, "I heard it's scary."

"No wonder the Theta's are showing it." Hiccup laughed, "I can already see some of their reactions."

"You know we have some time before they show it…" Jack hinted nervously, "I mean…if you want to…we finally have some real alone time now and-"

Hiccup was on Jack in seconds, his mouth covering Jack's. He wrapped his arms around Jack's waist to pull him closer and was relieved when Jack relaxed, putting his hands around Hiccup's neck and massaging his head.

They broke for air and Hiccup smiled, "Thought you'd never ask."

Jack led Hiccup to the bed and sat down, watching as Hiccup removed his hoodie, exposing some of his flat belly as his t-shirt lifted with his hoodie.

Jack reached out to touch his exposed skin and felt Hiccup shudder on contact. He grinned, wondering if it was just because his hands were cold or because he truly had that effect on Hiccup. Hiccup threw the hoodie aside, his green eyes blazing which meant the latter had been true and that lifted Jack's ego just a bit.

Hiccup began to pant a little, already getting heated. Jack stood up to help Hiccup remove his t-shirt, giving Hiccup a long loving glance as he did. Hiccup aided Jack by lifting his arms. Jack made sure to brush his fingers carefully along Hiccup's sides as he removed his shirt, sending more shivers up Hiccup's spine. Jack threw the t-shirt to the ground and removed his own before pulling Hiccup closer to him, his groin rubbing against Hiccup's seductively yet discreetly.

Hiccup gave an almost wanton moan at the contact, causing Jack to cover Hiccup's mouth with his own, his tongue diving in hungrily to taste his wreck of a boyfriend.

Jack nearly laughed at how easy it always was to get Hiccup off.

He was just about to lead Hiccup to the bed and lead his hands lower onto their bodies when they both heard a knock on the door.

Hiccup's eyes shot open at the same time Jack's did and he groaned. They broke apart looking annoyed and Jack watched as Hiccup stormed to the door half naked to tell off whoever it was.

Hiccup opened the door to a group of Theta's who began to laugh at him and take out their phones to snap a picture of a rather irate looking Hiccup.

"You afraid of heights Haddock?" one snickered, "Cause your fly is."

Hiccup turned red and zipped up his jeans and glared at them, "What do you want?"

Jack recognized Tuffnut who was grinning from ear to ear, "We were gonna ask if you guys wanted to hit the town with us but if you're too busy…"

Hiccup looked over at Jack apologetically and then turned to his brothers with a triumphant smile, "Maybe later guys, I'm gettin' lucky at the moment."

With that he shut the door to the sound of his Theta brother's guffawing.

Jack nearly protested but Hiccup pushed him back onto the bed and climbed on top of Jack with a smile.

"Hiccup…we can-"

"I'm busy right now." Hiccup explained calmly as he unzipped Jack's jeans. He smiled as he leaned down to continue with what they had started, "They come second."

Jack felt lighter than air as his boyfriend nearly devoured him for hours and as he did he couldn't help but finally confirm to himself that he had nothing to worry about; nothing at all.
