Chapter 36

New chapter is up yay!

Happy Christmas Eve or Merry Christmas everyone if it's Christmas Day like it is for me! I hope you all have a great day or night wherever you are and make the most of any holidays you have. Hanna's pov

Waking up the next morning with Aria right besides me, I closed the distanced placing a kiss on her forehead. After tossing and turning in my arms last night, she finally fell asleep and realising she was still out to it, I headed down stairs to make her breakfast. I know I will never be able to cook like Aria, but I'm hoping this morning that it's the thought that counts. Making a plate with three pancakes stacked on top covered with jam, strawberries and cream. I filled 2 cups with coffee and placed them on the tray and headed back upstairs. Walking in I smiled to myself when she was still asleep. I gently placed the tray on my dresser and moved to open the curtains slightly. Emily had text me this morning telling me that she would be here to pick Aria up at 9.

I sat down on my couch and sipped on my coffee, waiting for any sign of movement. I must have been in thought when I heard Aria whisper my name. Her cute little head popped out from under the cover and I watched as she searched the room for me. Placing my coffee Down, I crawled back onto my bed and kissed her. Hi I smiled shyly and she did the same. "Morning Han, why are you already up"? Well it just so happens I made you breakfast. standing up I retrieve the tray and watched as she eagerly sat up making herself comfortable. Placing the tray down I walked around to the other side of my bed and sat with her. "Hanna you didn't have to do this", I know babe I wanted to, I figured you wouldn't really want to eat, but you need to so comfort food was my best bet. Aria laughed before reaching over and pulling me closer, for a kiss. "Thank you for looking after me, especially last night I was exactly where I needed to be". I blushed at her kind words, hey it's my job what kind of girlfriend would I be if I didn't, besides you totally would have done the same for me. Aria nodded before take a bite of her pancakes and the moan that escaped her mouth told me that they must be alright. When she was almost done I laughed. "What are you laughing at"? She questioned me and I reached out and brushed my thumb across her lip. You have some cream on your lip babe but don't worry I will get it. Aria watched as I licked the cream off my thumb and I took her now empty plate and placed it at the end of the bed. The two of us then lay back down and cuddled . "So ... What now"? She question and I shrug, today is up to you, Emily text me this morning though and she will be here in half an hour, she said she mentioned to you last night about picking you up to get your car? "Right I do remember that, she said if I don't hear anything today from my parents that I can stay with her". Well if that's what you want to do then I think you should, how about you go get your car with Em and then meet me back here? We can relax together and you can head over to Emily's tonight after dinner. "Mmm, okay but for now I just want to stay like this" I smiled kissing her check. That is more then okay with me, today is about you.

Emily's pov

After filling Alison in last night on what had happen to Aria, she was more then okay about cancelling our coffee date, and told me she would just see me and my mum tonight. I arrived at Hanna's at 9 as promised and Hanna open the door, as I waited down stairs for Aria. Hey Em hru? I'm good Hanna how is she this morning? "she's alright I guess, we still haven't talked about exactly what happen but she's at lest dressed and had food". Well that's a start I smiled as Aria walked down stairs. "Have either of you seen my keys? I don't know if I even had them last night, I mean I did at some stage but I was that much of a mess I don't know where they went". Relax I have them right here. I pulled them out and handed them to her and she smiled gratefully at me. Hanna walked us to my car and the two of us left. So have you heard from them yet? I questioned her and she shook her head. "No and if I don't I think I will crash at your place if that's still okay"? Of course it is my doors always open. When we pulled up at her car I got out and walked with her to hers making sure she was okay? So your going back to Hanna's and than mine if you don't hear anything? "Yep that's the plan I guess". Okay well Ali and I will be out with my mum for dinner but you have the spare key so just make your self at home. Aria closed the door and turn the engern on. "I will thanks Em" no worries drive safe ok, and text me if you needed anything. Okay, she smiles and I reached through the window and hug her before she can take off.

Ali's pov

Emily was busy taking care of Aria this morning and that's one of the many reasons I love her. I spoke to her dad on the phone and told him that my part of the secret had been taken care of, and wished him a safe flight. I couldn't wait to see the look on her face when he walks into the restaurant, and was glad I was going to be a part of it. I sent Jason a text last night asking if he was free tomorrow to help spencer and I with the move, and he was more than willing to lend a hand. Spencer was out with Toby, so it gave me some time to myself to do some last minute christmas shopping. I had to post my mum's present off today or it wasn't going to arrive in time. Spencer was probably the hardest person to by for, I mean with her parents being rich, everything she wants she pretty much already has, and with my low budget I was starting to think that whatever I decide to get her would suck until I eventually came up with something.

Arias pov

I had spent the whole day with Hanna at her house baking Christmas cookies and watching Netflix, trying desperately to get my mind off my parents, but it wasn't working. It was 5 o'clock and I still was yet to hear from either of them. yeah my dad was probably way more upset about it, but I thought that by now that at lest my mum would have calmed down. Hanna and I were happily sitting on the couch when the door bell went off and Hanna's mother asked her to get it. She peeled herself off me telling me she would be right back, but when she opened her door and called my name I was a little confused. I walked down the hall towards the door shocked to see my mother standing there. She looked like she had been crying, and for a split second I felt bad for her, but then I remember what she did last night and I felt like yelling at her. "Aria I'm so glad your ok honey, I would really like to talk to you". I looked at Hanna nervously and relaxed when she took my hand. I... I don't have anything to say to you. "Aria please just listen I'm so sorry ok, you needed me, you needed your mother last night and I wasn't there for you. I shouldn't have let him Speak to you like that I... I don't want you to leave I want you to come home". I felt myself cry at my mother words, the words that I wanted to hear last night. But Dad... "No you don't have to worry about him honey, he left, he's staying in a hotel". I watched as she wiped her eyes. Did you ask him to do that? "Yes.. I told him that I did not agree with the way he treated you last night and that if he is not willing to accept his own daughter then he should go". I began crying harder letting go of Hanna's hand and running into my mother Arms. Thank you for defending me, that's all I wanted, I'm sorry I'm the reason he left. "Oh Aria honey your not sweetie, he made his own decision to do that, I love you so much and nothing you say could make me change my mind. If I could go back I would have told you that last night". I... I love you to mum.

My mum pulled away and held my hand while looking at Hanna. "Hanna I guess I owe you an apology too, you have been nothing but a great friend to Aria and I couldn't be more thankful for the way you treat my daughter. I'm surprised I didn't realise myself that you too are together, I hope you don't hate me already". Hanna smiled, "Don't worry miss Montgomery I forgive you, you have a very special daughter and I love her, so I hope you know that". I blushed as Hanna continued to sweet talk my mother, but before my mum could ask me to leave Hanna's mother came in from the kitchen. "Hi I don't mean to interrupt but would you like to join us for dinner? I'm Ashley you must be Ella"? My mum smiled stepping inside and shaking her hand. "I'd love to", my mum squeezed my hand before removing her coat and following Ashly into the kitchen. I turned around to face Hanna and she wrapped her arms around my waist. That did not just happen, I state unsure if I was questioning myself or her. "Well it did babe and I for one think it went great, it was beautiful to see the two of you make up, who know maybe your mum and mine will end up being friends". I laughed leaning forward to kiss her on the lips. Mmm I hope your right Hanna, I guess I better text Em and tell her that staying at hers won't be necessary.

Emily's pov

Not only had Ali planed this entire night, but she also insisted on driving me and my mum there, and I let her. Ali pulled up outside mine at 5:45 and I greeted her at the door, managing to steal a few kisses while we waited for my mum. "Em you look cute tonight", Ali winks at me and I couldn't help but to laugh at the new side of Ali I was seeing. When my mother was ready the three of us headed to the grill and we followed the waiter to our table. The table was set for 4 people but there was only three of us, I scanned the room thinking that because it was busy and this as just one of the last tables. I sat next to Ali with my mother opposite me, and new tonight was going to be great. "So, Emily probably told you pam but I wanted to take you guys to dinner, to thank you for everything you have done". "She did sweetie and you don't have to", "I do you guys took me into your home and I had only know her for 2 weeks, you have both made me feel like I have a second family especially with my mum living in Georgia and I want to thank you". "Well your welcome Alison", she smiled at my mum and I couldn't help but stare at her. When we were looking at the menu, I notes Ali fiddling with a string on her dress something she did when she gets nervous, but I had no idea why. Her phone buzzed in her bag, and she excused herself telling me she had to take it. When she came bake she had a smirk on her face but I didn't bother questioning it, instead I placed my order and started a light conversation with my mum.

Ali's pov

I couldn't believe how well I was doing, the plan was going perfect and all I had to do was pull off the last part. When my phone rang, I new it was her dad so I excused myself to answer it. Her dad said he was less then 5 minutes away so I returned to the table and placed my order. I felt Em reach for my hand under the table and I happily took hers to help calm the nerves. I couldn't take my eyes off the door and when he walked in, with his army uniform on I smiled. When Emily noticed, she asked why I was smiling and then followed my eyes to the door. The moment she could see her dad she burst into tears, and her mum turned around in her chair. She stood up and ran into his arms and I almost cried myself just watching it. "Omg dad how did you... You weren't... I mean I thought you couldn't come home for Christmas". "I know Emmy but Christmas is your favourite holiday so I wanted to surprise you and your mar". She pulled away and her mum greeted him with a kiss, "Wayne I'm so glad your home how did you know we were here"? He ignored his wife's question as they sat back down and walked over to me. Wayne wrapped his arm around my neck and kiss me on the top of my head. "How is my favourite secret plan helper"? he questioned me and I laughed. I'm good sir, it nice to have you back. When Emily realised what he just said her eyes widen. "Wait Ali you new he was coming"? Kind of, I mean your dad was the person I was talking to on the phone the other day, he said it was a surprise and to bring you guys here so I did. don't get me wrong I did want to thank you, so really I was more than happy to help your old man out. She smiled before pulling me in for a quick kiss not even caring that her parents were right their. "I love you so much, thank you" she whispers and I blush. I love you to Em I hope you like your early Christmas present.
