What is an owl doing here and in board daylight? I thought as I opened the window to let it in. It was as the owl was landing that I noticed that it had a letter tied to its leg. I untie the letter as I ask the owl, "Would you please stay, in case I need to write a reply?"
The owl hooted it agreement and nodded. I opened the letter and read it. Then re-read it. Could this possible be real? Could magic really exist? "Ummm. Hey, I need you to take a reply, back to Debuty Headmaster Potter. Can you do that?"
The owl gave me a look that quite clearly said "are you stupid?"
"Right. Stupid question." I said. Grabbing a piece of paper and pencil, I wrote:
To Whom it may concern,
I have just moved to England from the main colony of the L3 cluster. I have never heard of magic. I have some question. Can this be done over a vid-phone? My vid-phone number is 548-649-5861. I am available between 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Is this real? It says that I require year 5 material, what does that mean? Where can I buy this stuff? What do I have to do to pay for those items? Why did you have an owl deliver the letter? Do you have a vid-phone?
Also, my guardian is busy and hates being disturbed. If you have to come in person, it would be easier on me if you came between 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. You have to be gone by 3 o'clock.

I looked over the letter, but thought it looked alright to me. I tied it to the owl's leg and showed it through the window. I hope they can explain it by vid-phone.
