I do not own Naruto or by now I would have killed off Sakura probably...

Why?

"Where is he, he's always so late!" a young pink-haired girl wearing a red dress screeched while looking towards a young boy with black hair that resembled a duck's ass, leaning against a tree. He just shrugged and continued brooding, looking towards the ground. "Hey Sasuke why don't we go on a date after training and maybe walk around the village?" she asked while scooting closer to the boy.

"No, Sakura, and will you please stop asking me. My answer is always the same, can't you just take a hint and realize that I'm not interested in you. Maybe if you were stronger and stopped screaming so loud, I could tolerate you enough to eat around you but, with your infatuation with me... I don't think so..." He turned her down coldly while walking to a different tree.

She fell to her knee's while tears slowly slid down her face, a blonde-haired boy in an all-orange suit glared at Sasuke "Hey teme, where do you think you go around making Sakura cry like that! I'll show you exactly who deserves to be crying..." he was interrupted by Sakura who slammed her fist into his face. He flew off the bridge into the water. "Hey! Sakura, what was that for?" He looked up at her in complete disbelief.

"Don't you go around insulting Sasuke like, you always get in the way of me and him! Every time I believe in you just a little bit, you mess up in some way!" Sakura yelled at him as he got out of the water and began to walk onto the red bridge.

"But Sakura I really like you and can't take him treating you like that. How about me and you go on a date instead and I show you how much of a jerk he is?!" he yelled while pumping his fist into the air.

Sakura looked down with darkness overshadowing her face "Naruto when will you learn I don't want you, I never will. You're so annoying and you always ask me out when you know I don't like you..." Naruto looked at her in awe as she continued "You know I hear the villagers always calling you names like demon and I think I understand why, you always get in the way and continually insult Sasuke when you know how much I like him. With all that I think I believe in the villagers. I don't even want you on my team, neither of us do. Not even Kakashi wants a dead last like you on the team. Why can't you just go die or leave us alone!" she ended off her long-winded onslaught of insults all aimed towards Naruto who stepped back and just slowly let the smile leave his face.

Kakashi conveniently appeared in a fury of leaves "Sorry I'm late, I just got lost helping a kitten out of a tree and then this old lady wanted me to help carry her bags to her house and..." He looked around at the scene that was before him "What did I miss?" He asked cautiously.

Naruto quietly muttered, "Can we just go get this mission done..." Kakashi eyed him seeing as he wasn't as cheery as he usually was, hell none of them even mentioned or questioned his lateness.

"Uh... ok we'll just go do a quick one since you all seem like you need a day off." They all walked together towards the mission hall. Not a single word was spoken as he grabbed a Tora mission. "we'll do Catching Tora Today!" trying to get a spark out of the usually lively team 7 but, to no avail. Sighing as he just walked out and they got straight to the mission.

They headed to her last sighting as Naruto just sniffed the air and was able to pick out exactly where she was and walked up to the bush. Nobody knew this about him but he had always been able to know where she was by her scent which was stronger than most but he just never wanted to use it because he enjoyed the challenge of catching her but today... he just wanted to get it done and over with. Moving the brush out of the way as she hissed at him, he glared at the cat as it went straight into a submissive state, he picked her up and put her in the cage. "Hey Dobe, how'd you know she was there?" Sasuke questioned Naruto. He just got a look as Naruto walked by him and headed to the mission hall. "Don't you just walk by me..." he said while grabbing onto Naruto's arm.

Naruto quickly turned and with hate in his eyes spat back "Don't you dare fucking touch me!" hitting his arm off of him and continued his stride. Kakashi not being privy to what had happened today decided he would Sasuke later what did they do to the blonde to get him like this. After that small upset was over they all decided that talking was over and that they should just move in silence. Entering the hall, they turned in Tora and got their surprisingly large reward with a little extra because of how fast they had finished it, they held first place with a time of 54 minutes the next being an hour and a half. Naruto seeing as the mission was finished asked "Kakashi sensei can we go home, I'm not feeling too good today?" with pleading eyes, basically begging him to let him go home.

Kakashi looked at him with a small hidden frown "Yes, but be ready for tomorrow since we didn't get any training in today and everyone is feeling a bit off it'll be a bit more of a tough day." he announced while Naruto walked away from the team heading straight to his house.

Why, why did they always treat him like this. Today what they said hurt more than ever, she had never said anything like this before. Maybe, he should just leave the team or just stop trying. "I'm so tired of all this, the villagers hate me, my teammates hate me, hell most of this entire village hates me... why do I continue to try and defend them, what's the use I'll never become Hokage. What do I do now?" he said aloud to no one, just talking to himself.

Out of nowhere, he heard a familiar voice in the back of his head "Why don't you just leave?" the demon said pulling him into his subconscious. The scene before him, the smell of the sewer, giant gates with a seal on it. "You could leave and start over somewhere else, the village you saved before would take you in or you can start in the woods building a small house. Why stay where you aren't appreciated for everything you do?" the orange fox questioned.

Naruto stood there for a moment thinking of every scene where Sakura hit him, the people he saved and never got a thank you for, the times he saved Sakura and Sasuke, the times he put the village before himself. Everything revolved around him never getting any recognition for what he's done. The third Hokage was one of the only reasons he could deal with everything and with him gone... why would he stay. The fifth Hokage didn't seem to even like him too much. "Ok, I'll leave but when?" he asked back.

"I would say today, send a bunch of clones to the library and have them learn as much as they can, while you escape later tonight. This will help you survive with my help at first until you can live on your own." the plan was simple, easy, and could be executed in under 24 hours. The Kyubi looked through all the points it could fail but found nothing that he couldn't deal with.

"Ok." Naruto responded with and left his mindscape. Was he really about to do this? Could he do this, and leave his home. He thought about it for a bit longer before he realized this was never his home... he summoned as much chakra he could and made a clone. They nodded at each other as the clone left for the library, something else nobody else knew about was how much he liked reading and learning about anything he didn't fully know about. He sent the clone to learn about basic building and more advanced learning in hunting and farming so he might be able to start something up. He had to learn quickly and start prepping seeing as he would have to leave in about 12 hours seeing as they finished the mission quick enough. Nighttime would be best so no one would know about it, he started packing his stuff, or what little of it he had. Food, clothes, tools, some basic utilities. He realized he had no idea where'd he go, so he pulled out a map and started looking for places near villages and towns where the leaf barely had any missions. A little to the northeast of the country of fire was a town where he'd never been and knew nobody went and decided that would be where he'd set up his new home. He smiled knowing that everything would change, no more glares, no more insults, just peaceful living.

Seeing as everything was packed, he decided he would go to his favorite ramen shop. He walked up to the stand and walked up to the chairs while taking a seat. "Hey old man and Ayame!" he called out as Ayame walked out and smiled while approaching the counter.

"Heya Naruto, what can I get you today?" she questioned while putting on her apron.

"You know my order already and keep it coming, I just got a bonus from my mission!" He said with a cheeky grin. This was the last time he'd be eating here probably. The only people he'd truly miss from the village. He saw the bowl placed in front of him and the first bite of his last meal here. He started eating.

"Naruto, why are you crying?" Ayame asked as she saw him finishing off a bowl.

He quickly wiped at his eye and felt the warm liquid on his fingers "The food is just so good and I've been missing it for so long. I guess I couldn't hold it in." he lied... not wanting them to try and stop him before he could execute his plan.

"Well alright! I'll keep the bowls coming!" Ayame yelled with fire in her eyes she started making the best ramen she could.

After about 10 bowls Naruto tapped out "I can't eat another bowl, if I do I think I might explode!" he said while leaning onto the countertop. His stomach completely filled to the brink. He brought out his wallet and left way more than what the ramen cost on the counter while leaving before she could turn around.

"Why do I feel like something is about to change?" Teuchi said to Ayame. She looked up and realized that she was also having a bad feeling about today, maybe it was the storm that was coming.

Naruto was heading towards a clothes shop that was the only place that would sell him something at a slightly higher price but was manageable. He walked in and saw the owner mutter "demon" underneath his breath. He sighed walking to the cloaks and found one with red stripes over what looked like some slick black fiber. He put it on and was surprised at how well it fit him and the lightness of the fabric, it seemed to let him move around fluidly and not stop him from moving. The stripes came together to form an Uzumaki symbol.

He walked up to the store owner "Hey how much will this cost me?" already checking the pricing being 6000 yen. The store owner looked at him wearing it and smiled.

"12,000 yen!" he looked at the gobsmacked blonde who started to glare at him realizing that that was double the price. Naruto started to realize, why did he care about what happens at this point as long as he didn't cause too much trouble.

"Look, the price tag says 6000 and right now I'm not in the mood for any bullshit you can give me so..." he looked him in the eyes and let the Kyubi's chakra saturate his iris's "You're going to charge me 6000 yen, right?" the red eyes tunneling into his prey's very soul. The man shook his head quickly, agreeing to the demands. Naruto let the chakra leave his eyes "Good." he put the money on the desk, right before he walked out a mask with a fox on it came into his vision "I'll be taking this also, for free because of the misunderstanding" he smiled as he left the shop. Hiding the cloak and mask in a scroll and storing it next to the rest of them. He had done everything he needed to. Now was to go home and sleep until nightfall, when he'd leave. He looked up at the clouds as he headed home, giant dark cumulonimbus clouds were forming and he knew the storm tonight would help him escape easier. Lady luck must have been on his side once again. He was ready to sleep for 6 hours, his clones would continue researching as he prepared for what could be an easy escape or difficult one if he messed up. He got home and looked at the picture of team 7. He quickly threw it on the ground and stepped on it, that was never his team. They weren't even his friends to start with. He hopped into bed and stared at his ceiling. This was it about 6 hours before he left and would probably never return to the place he called home for so many years. He closed his eyes and fell asleep.

6 Hours Later

He opened his eyes looking at the clock and immediately put on his cloak and mask, hearing the thunder roaring outside with the raindrops. It was perfect, complete darkness surrounded him. The clone's memories were absorbed in his sleep and he knew it would be difficult to even see him in the dark night. He looked at the mask in his hands and dawned it. Leaving out the window after writing a note for anyone who even thought of finding him.

Hopping across the roofs, he noticed that the water seemed to bead down his cloak and not even soak into it, most likely due to the fabric that felt so slick and soft. Approaching the wall, he looked around and pushed as much chakra into his legs, and hopped it in one quick jump. He made it onto a tree and looked at the towering wall that surrounded the village. He took a quick breath before turning and bounding off into the distance away from the place he used to call home... hopefully for the last time.

'Hey Kyubi, did I make the right choice?' he asked the demon that sat in his head.

'I believe so kit, I believe so...' the fox responded.

Well, it may be quite short but I'll end it off here and hopefully work on it some more later. Till next time bye :)
