Watching the sky through the opening in the ceiling told me when night became day. Watching the stars through that little hole was amazing, but part way through, lots of clouds started covering the sky. As soon as I'd thought day had come, a flash of lightning filled the sky, and a crack of thunder came not soon after. Rain started to pour down in sheets. It came in through the hole in the ceiling and a slight spray started to get water everywhere. I ordered the Hatchery to close up, but it didn't do much good. It's now wet and humid inside the Hatchery.

I contemplated just going outside since being inside the Hatchery isn't comfortable at all. A look outside on the mental map shows that mobs are spawning in thanks to the dark cloud cover though, so I wouldn't be safe out there. So I'm stuck in here and it's muggy and uncomfortable. For how awesome yesterday was, today is certainly winding up to be rather annoying.

Well, there is one way I could be more comfortable. Sighing, I ordered the Hatchery to reopen the ceiling. Water once again poured in, and the wind caused it to blow around, getting everything wet, including my clothes. At least the fresh spray feels rather cool, rather than muggy. I laid back and closed my eyes, and tried to ignore my painful bladder. After a while, I couldn't stand the feel of wearing wet underwear, nor did I want to develop a rash, so I stripped those off and spread them out next to my pants and shirt.

Unfortunately, now the need to go is overbearing, what with the water streaming in from the ceiling especially. I dashed outside. Monsters or not, I need to go! Quick as a flash, I had the Overlord lower the wall slightly and vaulted over, dashing off in the direction of my bathroom spot. If I weren't feeling so desperate, I might have thought to wonder over the fact that I just made it over a wall taller than I am.

Unfortunately, as soon as I started to relieve myself, a stupid Zombie started making its way directly for me!

"Can't you leave me in peace for just 30 seconds!?" I screamed at it, taking off even though I wasn't done. What ensued had to be the most embarrassing chase scene of my life. On the plus side I eventually didn't have to go anymore. On the minus side, if there's some cosmic entity laughing at me right now, well screw you! I'd like to see how well you'd do in my position!

I ended up scrambling back over the wall and into my Hatchery, or at least I thought I had. I couldn't find my clothes anywhere. After calming down and thinking logically, I stepped out the entrance facing the other Hatcheries, which form a court yard of sorts in the middle. In hind sight, I could've just gone out here. At least the rain would've washed it away. Ah well.

I stepped into the first Hatchery to my left. No clothes. I stepped back out and checked the second Hatchery. Ah here we are! There are my clothes, and the hollow I sleep in, that now has a small pool of water in it. Great. I laid down next to my clothes where it's at least slightly drier. I'm still getting hit by a spray, but it's not much and it's keeping me cool at least. I hope being able to regenerate means I don't get sick anymore. I'd hate to catch a cold.

Time passed. The rain didn't let up all day. I ended up getting breakfast in the courtyard between Hatcheries, and passed the time singing what songs I could remember from Earth. I could remember the tunes for many, but not the lyrics so much. I'm starting to feel an ache in my chest. I miss home. I didn't think I would. Is this what it feels like to be homesick? I guess it's not so bad. My Zerg seem to have doubled the output of love to me to counter my depressed state, so I didn't feel too bad for very long. I'd hate to think what state I'm in if I were literally in Steve's shoes and had to survive this world completely on my own.

Night fell. The rain hadn't let up. It slowed to a trickle, but the clouds haven't cleared yet. Midnight passes. I only get 140 bio energy this time, bringing my count up to 500. I guess the clouds blocked the light from being absorbed all day, so I only get a small bit of what I usually get. That's the best theory I've got anyway.

It was long after that that I fell asleep, muggy, but finally dry.
