Author's Note;
Jester; Hello everyone I'm here once more with my favorite Bulldog Spike to give you all an update. So yeah don't know why people haven't been viewing but here's to hope. So on with the fic.
After the jump into hyperspace Tatis ship was making its descent to Teliz. Finding a good place to land Tatis cloaked his ship and started to follow the coordinates to the groove on foot. The sweeping fields of the planet was nice to Tatis he was always given jobs on place that were harsh or murky. To finally get a job with a nice view was a good change. After an hour or two of walking Tatis heard a commotion over the side of a hill. Passing it off as Jedi's training or something he moved to find the groove. In time Tatis did find the groove it was truly not that hard to find after all it was hidden in one of the planets small forests. As Tatis began to scan the guards he saw that they were Jedi Temple guards.
Dressed in the white or light gray robes and metal masks the guard's wielded dual sided light sabers. Pulling Breaker from his back Tatis was going to kill the two guards without them even know he was there. But the same commotion he heard before was closer know. Turning he saw several red and purple dressed pirates rush the guards. Before Tatis could move a blaster tapped his shoulder. Looking to his right he saw three pirates training the weapons on him. Tatis, "I can assume two things one you're after a certain artifact and two you don't want me getting involved". One of the pirates simply nodded saying, "Our boss told us that a certain collector is after some stupid pendent. Now be a good sport and walk way".
Tatis chuckled to kick the pirates weapon lose. Rolling clear Tatis then switched Breaker to spread mod and shot twice. The resulting spread of condensed energy rounds killed the pirates with little effort. Tatis attention was back at the Temple guards after all the commotion only one was left wounds. But a quick blast from a blaster ended his life. A new group of pirates were calmly making their way deeper past the guard post. Tatis though that if he allowed the pirates to go crazy he could steal the pendent from who ever is left pirate or Temple guard. Using his boots to stay in the trees Tatis camouflaging himself as added protection. Catching up with the pirates was easy simply cause there was only one straight path to follow.
In time they found them selves inside a museum like room with various artifacts and weapons. As Tatis watch he saw the pirate reach for what could only be their prize. But as he turned a torrent of lighting struck him. As his body convulsed out of control the pirates called for help on their comm's. Tatis just sat back and watched seeing someone else do the work was fun. Walking from one side of the room was perhaps the largest Jedi he'd seen. Who ever this Jedi was had a large drinking gut. As the pirates fired at the Jedi he laughed saying in an odd voice, "Power is not for the weak"! Shooting lighting from his very hands the Jedi killed the pirates and their back up. Tatis hacked the pirates comm's to see if anymore were coming but all he heard was silence.
Dropping to the floor quietly didn't do much as the Jedi turned to say, "You're not a pirate but I can tell your not here to talk". Tatis uncloaked himself to say, "You right I'm here for something of value but you don't seem to fond of handing things over". The Jedi pulled back his hood revealing his light black skin. But what shocked Tatis most was how small the Jedi's head was and on his head were two small cone spikes. Tatis could tell the Jedi height was five feet five inches but to see such a hug difference in his head proportions nearly caused Tatis to laugh. Jedi, "I am Fo Krah Diin and I've heard of you Red the bounty hunter. You will die here and now". Fo shot a steam of light from his hands at Tatis but Tatis retaliated by firing flames from his hands. Nullifying both attacks the Jedi chuckled saying, "You interesting bounty hunter but today you will die".
Fo extended his hand to allow a white light saber to slip free from his belt. At its base Tatis could see an odd mix of energy but Fo did not grab his weapon. The saber came to life and Fo began to demonstrate his true power. Surrounding himself in an aura of Jedi energy the saber floated around him as he smiled at Tatis. Tatis knew that blasters were useless against any Jedi especially one this strong. Pulling Creed Tatis ignited the swords core and took his stance. Fo wasn't fazed he chuckled at shot more lighting at his opponent. Rolling past the lighting Tatis had to block the Jedi's saber as it spun like a saw at him. Tatis knew that Jedi's fought two ways from a distance and close up. Tatis seeing Fo stand still told him his was a distance Jedi.
With one hand Fo shot more lighting at Tatis but as he rolled Fo used the roots of a tree to catch his foot. Trapped in one spot Fo's saber shot at him light a dart blocking the best he could Tatis sword was knocked loss. Before Fo could shoot more lighting Tatis created a compact fireball and slammed it into the floor. The sudden shockwave cause Fo to take a few steps back. Tatis quickly grabbed Creed and hid behind a display. The room was filled with unique and old artifact that Tatis could sell but right now he need away to get past Fo's defenses. But slowly the table Tatis was hiding behind was hit with the Jedi's signature use of the force.
As the table warped from the attack Tatis used his agility to move out of the Jedi's sight once more. Tatis, "I've never heard of a Jedi that could shot lighting from their hands… you must be very strong in the force". Fo, " I am among the strongest in the current Jedi order and you will die here". As the Jedi used more lighting Tatis countered by firing a stream of fire in return. As the two forces collided and mixed neither gave way as their attacks continued for a long moment. Both opponents using their free hands to press their attacks and push the other back. But slowly the mixing elements could not longer take the stress their users were putting them through. And imploded causing a great amount of damage to their environment.
The Jedi looked around as the smoke cleared trying to locate Tatis and finish him. But Tatis was once more taking a moment to judge the strength of his opponent. Tatis was not a fool he know the Jedi's skills in the force was greater then his powers over fire. Looking over the table he hid behind Tatis saw an old Mandalorian skeletal support it was used by some of the old warriors to allow them to withstand the Jedi's abilities in the force. As Tatis grabbed the metal skeleton he began to place the metal pieces to his bare skin. He did so by slipping the skeleton under his jacket and pants but as the skeleton touched his spinal Gear the skeleton snapped to life fitting itself to Tatis and jerking his bones.
The Jedi heard the noise and shot more lighting at Tatis location. But to Both combatants surprise the lighting hit Tatis it cause him no harm. It just looked like Tatis was stunned or staggering because of the Jedi's power. Igniting his powers once more Tatis threw streams of fire at the Jedi. Tatis found that his powers were slightly more powerful and intense in their impact and damage. Using Tatis flames to hid his approached the Jedi tried to flank But Tatis spotted Creed. Tatis ignited his sword and he and the Jedi began to fight once more. Tatis found out a long time ago from Owl that his sword was coated in a resin that allowed the sword to combat a Jedi's lightsaber.
As both blades met Tatis used his skills in light footwork to push back the pudgy Jedi. But the Jedi landed a heavy fist to Tatis ribs trying to use his skills in the force to crush Tatis throat. But Tatis counted this by kicking the Jedi in the knee then jabbing several times into Fo's force shield. Tatis looked at Fo's inner robe and saw the pendant. Creating a small fireball in his hand Tatis went into a low sprint trying to fool the Jedi. Tatis swung at the Jedi's and as both blades met again Tatis tossed the fireball into the air. As the ball burst a flurry of molten sparks they started to fell onto the two fighters. Tatis grabbed the pendant and kicked the Jedi back once more. Sheathing his sword Tatis signaled his ship and ran full speed for the exit.
As his ship came in Tatis jumped and ascended high enough so that Jedi couldn't stop him. Tatis yelled back to Fo, "We'll call this a draw Jedi Fo lets hope we don't met again". With that Tatis flew back to Coruscant to meet up with his employer.
Tatis sat in wait for nearly seven hours at the meeting place for his Sith employer. 'Damn if I knew she wasn't going to show up I should have waited to complete that damn job'. But in time the female Sith stepped into the room with a large smile on her face seeing the pendant nestled in Tatis palm. Handing Tatis the rest of his payment he gave her the pendant. Tatis, "Well that was a fun job a bunch of pirates tried to storm their way into the groove but a Jedi by the name of Fo Krah stopped them". The Sith eyed Tatis to asked, "This Fo did he have a large stomach and small head"? Tatis nodded at eyed the Sith wondering what she knew of the Jedi. Seeing his question behind he mask the Sixth said, "His father was a Sixth…But he chose the path of a Jedi even thought he was gifted with the strongest of the Sith's skills".
Tatis, "You mean how he could shot lighting right I never heard of a Jedi doing that before. But with the explanation you just gave me I see why he was so strong. Well seeing as our current business is over I'll take my leave miss Sith". Before Tatis could reach the door the Sith said, "I still have use of your services hunter Red. It's a simple job really and I would handle it but my order doesn't want to reveal ourselves to soon. The Jedi are still waiting for us… as I said it is a simple task a pirate has information we need and she is being held at a Republic outer Rim prison. Simply escort her back to this coordinates and you will receive payment. And as always we expect you to succeed".
With that Tatis left to free the captured pirate and deliver her to the Sith at the rendezvous. Within a few hours Tatis was circling the outer range of the prison's radar. Cloaking his ship Tatis used his helmets space filter function and his jet boots to slowly guide his body to a passing group of space debris. Cloaking himself Tatis slowly drifted along with the debris even nudging the different debris to travel towards the prison. From the plans Walter gave him for the prison it only hate three levels but had a sizable amount of guards. But placing various explosives on the debris he would plan a nice distraction for the guards.
In time the debris was in place and Tatis was slowly drifting to a side window. Tatis bombs were in place and using his wrist pad he control the detonation. Placing three secondary charges at a different window Tatis moved to a closer entrance to the prison block. Tatis placed his final explosive he sent his plan in motion. Hearing and feeling the concussive pressure of the blasts would have made him puke or pass out. But thanks to the upgrades in his armor and helmet he was able to withstand the pressure and move inside. Once inside he moved to find the prison blocks control systems. With the alarms going off Tatis knew it wouldn't be long before a Republic ship would come and back up the guards.
Finding a side control panel Tatis deactivated the prison cells and took control of the sound system. Tatis, "Attention all prisons fight you way out and have fun if you'd please". Just like the prison was in the full swing of a riot and Tatis was moving to find his target. As he rounded a corner a few guards was already firing at the prisons that fought back. Pulling Punisher and Justice Tatis trigger their rapid fire setting and fired at the guards with little care. The guards were thrown off because they couldn't see who was shooting at them. As Tatis De-cloaked the guards either shouted retreat or were in shock at who was shooting at them.
Tatis left the prisoner to handle their own business or take their revenge at the guards. As Tatis rounded a corner three inmates were fighting a Trianii she was easily putting the idiots in their place. Walking up to the female Trianii Tatis called her name, "Frutg I'm here to bust you out". The female Trianii looked over her so called rescuer to say, "Good I've been getting tired of dealing with this little slugs. I'm assuming that a certain being like of force user sent you to get me". With a nod she went on to say, "Good I need to get two others before we head out and met up with our business partner". As Tatis followed the female pirate, Tatis, and a few other prisoners stormed the main control hub to open the remaining cells.
Soon the radar pinged saying that a ship of Republic enforcers was on its way to help calm the riot. Frutg found that the two prisoners she wanted were being held in the third levels primary cells. That level was where the remaining guards were holding keeping guard until their back up arrived. The third level was different from the top two because that level only held ten cells but with the nastiest prisoners that they could hold. Opening a weapons locker prisoners armed themselves and either went even crazier or followed Tatis and Frutg to kill the remaining guards just for fun. Using a pulse grenade the guards was thrown form their hiding places and were easy targets for the crazy prisoners.
Tatis just sat back and watched the prisoners have their fun. After a good amount of time the guards were dead or slowing dying from their wounds. Unlocking the cells Frutg called a Kubaz and Verpine over. Making their way back Tatis called his ship just as the Republic ship was drawn close enough to fire their main guns. Flying a good distance Tatis entered the rendezvous coordinates he jumped into hyperspace. Setting his ship on autopilot Tatis turned in his chair to say, "That has to have been one of the fastest jobs I've been apart of". Frutg chuckled to look at the bounty hunter saying, "For the Sith to hire someone that sounds as young as you… you must be something".
Tatis, "I fought two Jedi and killed one when I was a teenager". The looks they gave Tatis was priceless they didn't press their questions. They knew that not many would boast about killing a Jedi and Frutg knew that from the reactions the guards gave seeing Tatis. She could tell he wasn't joking about his actions. As the ship exited the jump the small outer Rim planet came into view. Flying right to the meeting place Tatis and his rescued pirates went on to met their Sith business partners.
