Hello and welcome to this chapter of True Colors!

I'm very sorry that this came up so late, I have been busy and just not been able to get the writing out of me

And I have another thing to say!

The 18th June I'll go to Italy ( my family has an apartment there ) and I won't come back until 22th July, and we have no internet so I won't be able to update! So this might be the last chapter in a while!

But, I'll take paper and pen with me and write over there, so when I come home I can update! But, I might go on a camp from the 2th August to the 8th, and theen I won't be able update then.

And then school stars ( ended yesterday woho ) but that won't be a problem. But Doctor Who might.

I don't wanna spoil the chapter but...

WARNINGS: Homophobic language and some violence/gay bashing.

Blaine was tired.

The football team had practiced really hard and he knew his entire body would be sore tomorrow. It had been nice to watch Kurt and the rest of the New Directions preform, they were very good. The only thing that he didn't like was that one guy in the aduience who looked at Kurt weird. Not friendly weird, just weird. He tried to ignore that guy, but couldn't help looking at him every twenty seconds. The guy started at Kurt ( sometimes some of the others too, but mostly Kurt ) the whole performance. But Kurt didn't seem to notice, he was so happy. Kurt belonged on the stage, Blaine knew he was going to make it in show business someday. He watched them sing Angel With A Shotgun and Don't Stop Belivin'. He was a little late out, the most teachers where gone and the only students Blaine had seen left was the glee club. After he talked to Kurt he went to the locker room to get his stuff and he saw two girls in the New Directions who were probably waiting for Kurt. He showered again and took his time with it. He really liked showering, the feeling of water running over his naked skin. When he came out he saw how much the clock was, so drying and putting on clothes didn't take much time. His head felt full of thoughts, but it seemed like they didn't want him to think about it. He still had that feeling of that something would go very very wrong and he really didn't wanna find out.

Also that Solivan had called Kurt his boyfriend was still in his head. Did they act like a couple? Or was it that Solivan didn't understand the word "boyfriend"? Maybe she thought it was a friend who was a boy? It has to be that, right? Or maybe she didn't understand how a couple acted? Blaine had a millions of reasons, but not many of them was... well, not very logical. So that was laying back in his head, annoying him, while he was walking out from school. He took the backdoor that lead to the teachers parking. The teachers parked at their own parking, which Blaine didn't think was so good. The teachers never saw what was going on at the student parking, which was a lot. Everything happened there, but what Blaine saw when he walked out at the parking now was something he never thought he would see.

He saw three guys, pretty big, surrounding someone. One of the guys was the one he had seen staring at Kurt before and the two others. Wait. It was Kurt's car, one of them had been staring at Kurt and Kurt should have gone out a few minutes ago.

Oh crap.

He started to run as he heard that they were speaking, but he couldn't hear what they said. But he saw a perfect styled, brown hair... Blaine ran faster and at last he could the words.

"...it was a too long time ago, right fag?" Oh crap. Crap, crap, crap. Blaine could now clearly see it was Kurt and he looked terrified. It was worse then Blaine had ever seen. He was a few meters away when one of the guys pushed Kurt back against the car. He saw that Kurt was looking for an escape way when he saw Blaine, his eyes turned even wider as he mouthed something. Blaine almost ran into one of the guys, but he stopped right before he smashed into him, grabbed him by the shoulders and almost threw him away from Kurt. They all stared at him as the guy Blaine pushed away stopped trembling. They all stood there until Blaine turned and looked at Kurt who seemed okay.

"Who the hell are you?" It was one of the guys Blaine had never seen before. He was taller then Blaine and looked like he had played football since he was a kid. Blaine didn't know what to answer really. Kurt was shaking his head against Blaine, but Blaine didn't get the message.

"I could ask you the same." Well, that was good. Was it? He hoped so. The guys looked at each other and smiled, a wicked smile that made Blaine wanna grab Kurt and run away, fast.

"Hummel hasn't told you about us? Well, my name is Lex and this is Thade and Rick. Now who are you?" As he talked he pointed at his friends. Thade was the one Blaine showed away and Rick was the one that had stared at Kurt earlier. They all looked like they were football players and that they went to gym at least once a week. Blaine couldn't take them all and Kurt looked like he was going to pass out any second. So, he had to make sure they got into Kurt's car or his car and drove. Blaine didn't notice that he hadn't answered, but he sure felt when Thade ( he thought, he wasn't sure ) showed him against the car, next to Kurt. That made Kurt go to action.

"Leave him alone, he has nothing to do with this!" Kurt spoke with a loud voice and he had stepped forward, almost right in front of Blaine. The guys made a "Oooo", pretending to be scared of Kurt.

"Ooo, so scary. The fairy is trying to protect his boyfriend, ooo." That was when Blaine understood who these guys were: Kurt's old bullies. How Rick had stared at Kurt, how they knew Kurt's last name and the gay slurs.

And then the anger hit.

He got really really mad at these guys for making Kurt's life hell, for beating him up, for calling him names and for making him need to transfer school. So, all he did was going in front of Kurt and pushed Lex ( well, he didn't really had it all check with the names ) back. Lex was built better then him so he didn't fall, he just stumbled a little. Then Rick ( he had given up, he just needed to say a name. ) came forward and pushed Blaine so fell against Kurt. Kurt captured him before he hit the ground, but Blaine was up on his feet again in just a few seconds. He wanted, really wanted, to push Rick back but now he needed to protect Kurt, and that would probaly just make them madder. But, Kurt didn't seem to think about that. He stepped forward and pushed Rick back against Lex who had walked up behind Rick and Rick crashed into Lex. They all stared surprised at Kurt, but Kurt looked more surprised then any of them. Then Thade, who had snuck up next to Kurt, tackled Kurt so he fell. Now Kurt looked terrified again. Blaine started to move against Kurt, but before he had even turned against Kurt someone punched him, hard, in his stomach. He gasped for air as he leaned against the car, after he had gasped a little he started to feel dizzy. He fell down on his knees as he started to cough, still trying to get air. He raised his arms above his head to get air better, but someone showed them down. He heard laughter around him as his breath started to come back. He looked up and saw that they were going against Kurt. Blaine started to stand up, slowly so he wouldn't get dizzy, and right as he stood up Lex kicked Kurt in the side. Kurt reacted by trying to roll away and covering up his body with his arms and legs. His arms where around his head and his legs where covering his stomach.

Blaine started to move against them, they where just a few steps away so it only took him a few seconds. He stood next to Kurt, trying to protect him and he looked around and saw that they all were smiling.

"Hummel, did you get yourself a bodyguard as boyfriend? Sadly he can't take all of us." Fuck. Blaine knew what they were doing and of course a few seconds later Kurt was looking up against Blaine, and he had taken away his arms from his head and legs from his stomach, leaving him unprotected. Blaine stopped Lex as he tried to kick Kurt again, but he couldn't stop Rick from kicking Kurt. He got right in the stomach, and just as Blaine he started to gasp for air. Blaine couldn't hold back anymore, he raised his fist and punched Lex at his cheek. Lex covered his face and bent down ad Blaine then turned to the others. Thade and Rick were looking at him and Kurt where still on the ground. Kurt seemed to have gotten the most air back, so Blaine bent down and carefully dragged him up. Kurt was still dizzy so he leaned against Blaine and Blaine held him up. They stood like that a few seconds until Thade and Rick started to move against them, Blaine tried to walk backwards, but Kurt dragged him right. Now they where standing with their backs out to the parking and their faces turned to Thade, Rick and Lex who now all where standing together. Kurt's car where behind them and Blaine's car where behind Kurt and Blaine. Blaine turned and saw it was closer then he thought. If they managed to get into the car they could drive and pick up Kurt's car later...

Then Kurt made a genius move. Blaine didn't see it, but Kurt took Blaine's car keys from his pocket and pressed to unlock bottom. The car locked up, which meant it made a sound and it lit up. Thade, Rick and Lex looked panicked around for people, and Blaine looked confused. As soon as he turned his face to Kurt he winked and Blaine understood. He looked back at the others who now had started to run away. As soon they where out of sight both boys collapsed. Kurt seemed so shocked he didn't even know what to do and Blaine really had no idea what he should do. But they needed to get out of here. So Blaine stood up and offered Kurt his hand. Kurt stood up with shaking legs, leaning against Blaine again.

"I-uhm, we should go. Do you want me to drive you home?" Blaine knew Kurt shouldn't drive in this state, he still looked like he could pass out any second.

"My dad isn't home, he is out with Carole and won't be back until tomorrow evening." Kurt's voice was shaking and Blaine could read the hidden message. Please stay with me, I don't wanna be alone. Blaine only nodded. They took Kurt's car and i silence Blaine drove Kurt home. He had texted his parents and said that he would spend the night with the jocks.

When they where at Kurt's , Blaine led Kurt up to his bedroom. Kurt didn't even bother taking off his clothes, he just laid there. Blaine locked the doors and made Kurt comfortable, but Kurt couldn't fall asleep. They hadn't said a word since they came there, so Blaine did the only thing left to do. He sat on the bed next to Kurt and whispered to him.

"Sleep Kurt, I'll be here in the morning."

I had some trouble thinking how this chapter would end. If I wrote it all it would be about 1000 words longer, but I'll let that be another chapter!
