I don't own Austin & Ally
Austin's POV
"Daddy, will you please quit walking back and forth? Mommy and the babies are going to be fine and you're making me dizzy", Ella said. I was currently pacing back and forth in the waiting room of the hospital while Ally and most of the rest of our family were getting checked out. I was just worried that with Ally being under so much stress and that fall she took that there might be something wrong with the babies. Trish, Dez, and Brianna are the only other ones that aren't in the room with us right now because they were still being checked out. Well, Brianna was still being checked out. Trish and Dez were fine, but neither of them were going to leave that baby girl. The doctors said they wanted to keep Brianna a little longer since she was just born a little over a week ago and was never admitted into the hospital. I tell you, those two are attached to that baby as if she were their own.
"Daddy!", Ella yelled, snapping me out of my thoughts. I put my attention back on her and smiled sheepishly.
"Yeah Sunshine?", I asked.
"You're still pacing", she said putting her hand on her hip. I rolled my eyes before slumping in a chair, Ella plopping down in my lap seconds later.
"Mr. and Mrs. Bentley?", an officer asked coming into the waiting room. Uncle Daryl and Aunt Claire shot right up out of their seats when he said that.
"Y-Yes?", Aunt Claire stuttered. The officer smiled as he moved aside, gesturing for someone to come in. Not even a second later, Toby and Kelsey run in and tackle their parents in a huge family hug.
"Oh, my babies are alright!, Aunt Claire cried.
"Sweetie, are you alright?", Uncle Daryl asked Kelsey. Aunt Claire was busy checking Toby for any injuries.
"I'm fine Daddy", she said smiling. Awe, I hope Ella still calls me Daddy at that age.
"Don't worry Daddy, I will", Ella whispered. I smiled. I guess thinking out loud pays off sometimes.
"ELLA!", I very shrill voice yelled. I smiled a little as my little girl jumped off my lap and ran to her best friend who met her half way there.
Ella's POV
When Toby and Kelsey first got here, I was so happy to see he was okay, but I thought he would want to see his mommy and daddy first. Their family hug was so sweet!
"Oh, my babies are alright!, Aunt Claire said crying. I guess she was happy. It was funny when she wouldn't let Toby go and kept checking him to make sure he wasn't hurt.
"Sweetie, are you alright?", Uncle Daryl asked Kelsey.
"I'm fine Daddy", she said smiling. I have a feeling that she's a Daddy's girl.
"Awe, I hope Ella still calls me Daddy at that age", I heard Daddy say to himself. That's funny, he's talking to himself. It was also really sweet what he said though.
"Don't worry Daddy, I will", I whispered to him. He smiled at me. I love my Daddy so much.
"ELLA!", Toby yelled very loudly. I smiled as I jumped off my Daddy's lap and ran over hugging my best friend. I'm so glad he's okay.
"Toby!", I yelled right back. Okay, he was hugging me way too tight, but I didn't care. I missed my best friend. After a while it was getting hard to breathe though. "Uh…T-Toby…can't b-breathe"
"Sorry", he said pulling away. "Are you okay?"
"I'm fine", I said smiling. He's so sweet for asking that.
"So what happened to you there with the bad people?", he asked as we went over to the play area of the hospital waiting room.
"Oh, just the usual crazy stuff that normally happens in our lives. We got kidnapped, split up, and angry at the people who kept trying to make us call them our family. Then my Uncle Elliot who's my birth daddy but my real Mommy's brother, he told me he turned good but was in love with my birth mother who tortured my real Mommy all her life and kidnapped me. He made me go along with his plan to escape. I didn't like the plan because I didn't want to call those people my family and hurt my Mommy's feelings, but I had no choice. Then Mommy finds out the plan, we're all forced into a room together, we hug our real families, and then the crazy people came back. They were going to hurt Aiden with a chair, then tried to trade him for Maddie, but I stopped them by talking-"
"Ella", Toby said cutting me off. "All I got out of that was crazy people. But I did hear you say that you stopped them from hurting Maddie. That sounds dangerous"
"Oh yeah, it probably was. Everyone kept telling me to be quiet, but I wanted them to be good. I also really wanted to know why they tried so hard to hurt our family", I told him.
"You gotta be more careful Ells! They could've hurt you!", Toby yelled. I smiled at him.
"Toby, calm down. I'm fine, your parents are fine; we're all fine. There's no need to worry, and the bad guys turned good", I told him.
"Yeah right, they probably just told y'all that so they can break out of jail again and come back", he said not looking at me. Why won't he just let this go? We're five! I just want to play!
"Toby, nothing bad is going to happen, okay? I'm about to be a big sister and the bad people turned good. Even if they didn't turn good, they'll still be in jail for a long time. Can't we just play now? Look, I'm a girl and I don't make you play with dolls and make up. I play cars with you, and I know that's your favorite thing to play. Well guess what?", I asked smiling. He finally looked back up at me.
"What?"
"I saw that doctor put some cars on the table over there by our family", I said smiling when he did.
"Then what are we waiting for; let's go!", he exclaimed, and we started running over to the cars.
Kelsey's POV
Thank goodness we're all back! I wasn't even sure Toby and I were going to make it to the police!
Flashback
"Kelsey, my feet hurt", Toby whined from beside me. I sighed. We had been walking for three and a half hours straight, and that was after hiding out for like two hours. It wasn't supposed to take that long for us to come out of hiding, but when we were about to climb down from the tree house, the neighbor's stupid Rottweiler started barking like crazy. He was actually really scary, so I wasn't chancing it. The neighbors weren't even home that night, so we were stuck up there with that yapping devil dog until he got bored of us, two hours later, and fell asleep. And my parents wonder why I'd rather have a beagle or something small. That's why people!
Anyway, like I said earlier, I have no clue where I'm going in this town. We were kind of in a secluded area anyway, so the actual town was like twenty or thirty minutes out by car. Well we're walking, and I think we're going the wrong way.
"I know buddy and I'm sorry. We need to keep walking if we ever want to get to the police", I told him.
"But I'm so tired", he complained. I sighed.
"Come here", I said and picked him up. He really was tired because the next thing I knew, I could hear his soft snoring as his little head lay on my shoulder. Goodness he's heavy.
"Excuse me mam", I heard someone say from behind me.
"Please don't hurt us! Take me not my brother!", I yelled as tears started pouring down my face. I was just so scared. I'm not supposed to be the one in charge! My parents just started letting me babysit Toby by myself last year!
"I'm sorry mam; I didn't mean to startle you. My name's Hunter Wilson. My father is the police chief and I-", the guy about my age said, but I cut him off immediately after hearing him say that about his father.
"Your dad's the police chief!?", I exclaimed. He nodded warily.
"Yeah…I was just on a walk in the woods and that's when I saw you walking around with that little boy in your arms. I thought you might be lost or something", he said shrugging.
"I am! Listen, I need you to help me get to the police station as fast as possible!", I said urgently. He looked at me strangely, but I guess he could see the urgency on my face.
"Alright, come with me. My house isn't too far away and my dad should be home by now. I doubt the guys at the station are awake right now, so if you need any help from the law at the moment, we're your best option", he said. I nodded and started following the boy. I gotta say, he has a really thick southern accent.
"You know, I never did get your name", the guy said to me. Funny, I wasn't really paying attention when he told me his name either.
"Uh, I don't really know you. H-How do I know that you're not leading me to some kind of gory death?", I asked. He laughed a little.
"You're one funny girl. What 'cha doing out here anyhow?", he asked.
"That's-", I started, but never got to finish because of Toby waking up.
"We ran away from the people that kidnapped our parents, my best friend, and my best friend's whole family", he informed the stranger. I sighed. Why did he have to tell him that? I was going to say that it wasn't any of his business, and I wouldn't be saying a word as to why I was there until I knew for sure that his dad really was a cop.
"Thanks Toby", I whispered sarcastically.
"Whoa, seriously?", the guy asked me.
"That's none of your business", I snapped. I don't know why I'm being so mean, but I'm scared!
"I'm sorry, I just want to help you", he said raising his hands up in defense. I sighed once again.
"No, I'm sorry. You were just being nice and I keep yelling at you"
"It's no problem, really. You seem to be just a little scared, and I'm probably not making that better huh?", he asked. I smiled a little.
"Not really, but it's not your fault. We've been through quite a lot and you never know who you can trust", I said.
"Well, let me make this here promise to you young lady that hasn't told me her name yet…", he said making me laugh a little, "…you can always trust me."
"Thank you, but I wasn't really paying attention when you told me your name…", I said trailing off.
"Hunter Wilson. Now, will you at least tell me your first name?", he asked.
"Kelsey. My name is Kelsey Bentley, and this is my brother Toby", I introduced.
"Hunter! Where on earth have you been!? Your father and I have been worried sick!", a lady I'm guess is his mother exclaimed, then she noticed me and Toby.
"Mom, this is Kelsey and Toby Bentley. They were lost in woods and said they couldn't find the police. I don't think Carl and Jarrod would be much help", Hunter said. I guess those are the cops he said would probably be asleep right now.
"We need the police fast!", Toby said. Hunter's mom looked at us surprised.
"He's not lying, mam. We really do need the police like right now", I said backing my brother up.
"Well certainly, come on in sweetie", the nice woman said.
End of Flashback
That's just a little of what we went through. Hunter's family helped us out a lot too. His mother, Sadie, let us sleep in her guest bedroom, and his father, Gregg, is the one that found my family. After I told him the whole story, he stopped at nothing until he found them. He said that the whole country was going crazy trying to find us all. Apparently Austin is just that famous. Oh, and it's not just the country that was going crazy. When I was watching World News (don't judge I was in the room and Sadie was the one wanting to watch it) anyway, apparently they all knew about my family's disappearances and were also searching for them. Though this may be true, our family was all the way in some place in Mississippi and Gregg Williams was still the only officer that could find them.
"Kelsey!", I heard someone yell. I turned around to see Alyssa running up to me, and she immediately hugged me. I, of course, hugged back.
"Alyssa!"
"Oh my goodness, I can't believe it! You did it! You got the police and helped us escape!", she exclaimed, hugging me again.
"You're the one that told me what to do! There's no way I could've done it without you", I said honestly.
"And you're so modest! Wow", she said. I just rolled my eyes playfully.
"Alyssa, how about we just forget about this whole thing huh? Oh, and what about your family? They must be worried sick about you", I said. Her eyes went sad as soon as I said that and I couldn't help but wonder what I just said wrong.
"Uh…n-no they aren't", she said looking down.
"Why not? Oh, are your parents like Ally, Dez, and Maddie's? I'm so sorry, I didn't-"
"No, my parents weren't anything like them. They were the best parents in the world, but they…they d-died", she stuttered. Suddenly I felt really bad for saying anything.
"Oh Alyssa, I'm so sorry! I had no idea-"
"It's fine Kelsey. There's no way you could've known", she said wiping her eyes quickly.
"So, are you going to be living with your brother? Where's he work anyway?", I asked.
"I-I don't know. My brother worked for the Freemans before he knew what they did, and I don't think the state would let me stay with him for that reason and that he has no job. They're going to take me away from the only family I have left now that they know I didn't die in that crash with my parents", she said flopping herself in the hospital chair, no longer paying any attention to me.
"Oh, not if I can help it you're not", I said determinedly as I walked off, a plan set in my mind.
Okay guys, this isn't exactly the chapter I had planned out in my head, but I kind of wanted to do the reunion. A lot of this was just part of Kelsey and Toby's little adventure to find the police, but you did get a little bit of Ella's POV when she reunites with her best friend. I'm sorry, but that just seemed too cute not to put. Please read, review, follow, and favorite!
I don't own World News
God bless you all!
