Chapter Two: Telling the news
As I walked through the house, I was thinking about what had just been said to me. I can't be pregnant.
"By the angel how is Jace going to react!" Clary said out loud. As i walked over to the counter in the kitchen i saw a note left from Jace and it said:
Hi Clary,
Just gone out with Alec and Simon to do some training but will be back later. Won't be too late.
Your favourite man,
Jace xx
Clary smiled as she placed her bags down and sat in front of the television.
...
Once Jace walked through the door, i knew i had to tell him the news no matter how hard it was going to be.
"Hey Jace, can you come over for a minute before you go in the shower. I have something to tell you."
Slowly Jace walked over with caution on his face.
"Okay, Clary what's the matter? You seem very weird."
I took a deep breath with fear rushing over my head. Okay Clary you can do it. You just have to tell Jace. Oh no what happens if he doesn't like the news? What if he runs out on me and i don't see him again. NO, Clary thinks you can do this.
"I went to the doctors this morning and i found out that im... pregnant."
Jace froze. "What?!"
"Oh god. Im terrified Jace and i didn't know how you would react and now your going to hate me so your going –"
"Shhh why would you think that. I am never going to leave you Clary and there is no need to worry because this is great. We can finally start a family together."
Clary stood there staring at his in amazement.
"Really you think that this is good even though i have only just found out and it was unexpected."
"Clary i have always wanted to start a family with you and now we can. Now come here"
Slowly i walked into Jace's arms as we just stood there for what seemed like forever.
"Jace."
"Yes Clary"
"You stink! Go take a shower."
Jace smiled and kissed me on the head as he walked to the bathroom. Leaving me in the living room with a smile on my face thinking about how now me and Jace can finally start a family. Together
