Cheating
This is the last time. That's what she tells herself as she walks into the hotel and heads straight up to the room. Each time she tells herself this a piece of her breaks, the man she's with should be enough but it's not. She wonders if it's the same with him, he has his wife back but they still end up doing this. Quinn rides up in the elevator fingers the key in her pocket knowing Charlie might literally kill her if he found out what she was doing when she told him Olivia was forcing her to work late.
It had started completely by accident, she had been sitting next to Huck in his office and they were talking. Then they were kissing, playfully nipping and biting at each other until they stopped and realized exactly what was happening.
"I've got someone." Quinn said while backing away from him.
"Yeah, and I've got Kim. Things are great, we just lost control, it was an accident."
"Yeah, an accident." Quinn said but they hadn't broken eye contact and moments later they were back to rolling on the floor kissing each other. Until one of them was bold enough to begin to unbutton their clothes, she wasn't sure if it was him or her and that's how this mess had begun again.
Quinn stepped from the elevator and walked down the hallway, right now getting to him was all that mattered. She would have more than enough time to feel bad for it later, she wasn't sure why she kept coming back. She stopped a few feet before she reached the door, her phone vibrated in her pocket. She prayed it was Huck, maybe Javi would get sick or Kim would need him to go somewhere with them. She needed a reason to back out, to stop this sick thing they were still doing.
"Hey, Robin." Quinn groaned inwardly, as of late Charlie had become much more attached to her. Not that he didn't always care for her but his caring had twisted into something much more clingy which would have been adorable in theory, but it was beginning to slightly annoy her.
"Hey, what's up?"
"I know you're working late, but I thought maybe I could drop by. It's been a minute since I've been to Olivia Pope and Associates…"
"Ah, sorry, we're not there we're out on a stakeout. Maybe another time."
"Sure…" He said, he sounded sad and hung up the phone. God, she didn't want to have to deal with that the next time they saw each other. She made it clear that he wasn't just going to move himself into her apartment and tried to keep a healthy amount of distance but he wanted more. He actually wanted her to leave Olivia Pope and Associates and run away with him, she hadn't outright laughed in his face but she wanted to. Who did he think she was? She wasn't that same broken girl he found tied up on the floor of her apartment, she was a gladiator and she wasn't sure how long it would be before he asked her to choose Huck, Abby and Olivia or him.
Quinn swiped the keycard and stepped into the hotelroom. The bathroom door opened and Huck stepped out, they both were riddled with guilt but they couldn't stop. Quinn closed the door, the sound of the door snapping shut echoed through the room. They were finally alone, Quinn began to take off her coat and placed it on the coat hook before sitting her phone on the nightstand.
Huck leaned against the wall watching as Quinn walked over to bottle of red wine. It had been a very expensive gift from Olivia, Kim didn't like Red wine and it had been just wasting away at his new home. He figured it would be best to share it with someone who could appreciate it who wasn't Olivia. If Olivia found out that Kim hadn't truly appreciated this gift she might be a tad bit offended.
"You're trying to get me drunk first?" Quinn asked, she poured two glasses and walked over handing him one.
"I don't think I've ever seen you drunk before."
"No you haven't, you're a very lucky man." They both watched each other sip the wine, Quinn was close enough to touch, all he would have to do was reach out. He did just that, wrapping an arm around her waist pulling her close to him. It had been over a month since he had last been alone with her this way. Sure there had been many instances but they agreed it wouldn't be safe to do any of that at work, Javi could drop by or Charlie could come by. In the safety of this hotel room they could speak and act as they wanted. He wanted to hold her, kiss her, explore her and just talk to her.
She placed one hand on his chest and stared in his eyes, he was still the same but so different when they were alone. She pressed her lips against his tasting the expensive wine and vodka on his tongue, she dropped her wine and so did he. His other arm wrapped around her pulling her closer as the kiss deepened, just being here in this moment felt good enough. It was why they both kept coming back, she felt one of his hands move up her shirt stroking her skin in gentle circles.
"What did you tell him?" Huck asked between kisses, he walked them backwards towards the bed.
"Stakeout." Quinn said, he looked down at her with a mix of adoration and hunger. No one had ever looked at her like that, she swallowed the lump in her throat as they fell backwards onto the bed, he rolled them onto their sides and wrapped one of her legs around his hip.
"Me too."
"Great minds think alike." She said and continued to kiss him, content with this moment of his special brand of gentleness. Huck didn't like to think about the man she was with, he knew that man and knew he was no good and not even worthy of her time. But Huck couldn't tell her that, couldn't shed light on the countless lies the man had fed her, he didn't want to ruin what they had. He enjoyed being close to her like this, one hand stroking her hair while the other caressed her hip.
"You never ask me the same."
"You asked me not to talk about her." Quinn said, she hadn't even called Kim his wife. If Quinn hadn't been so proactive Huck would have never found Kim, he wouldn't have talked to her or even gotten his family back. While receiving his family he lost Quinn, he couldn't have both, even in these moments he couldn't have both.
"I know, I'm breaking the rules." Huck rolled her onto her back watching her eyes light up with something akin to happiness and lust. She smiled and wrapped her arms around his neck pulling him down for another kiss, he felt her hands move from around his neck, slid down his back and move under his shirt. No, Quinn always went for what she wanted and he felt her stroking him and smirked wickedly when he opened his eyes and looked down at her. "I'm not going to go easy on you."
"As if you ever have." Huck rolled off of her and sat up in the bed, he began to unbutton his jeans, he kicked off his boots and pulled down his jeans and boxers. He tugged off his shirt and was surprised when he turned around that Quinn was fully naked, he wasn't sure how she was able to undress so quickly without making any noise at all. Huck looked down at her body noticing how her thighs were clasped together tightly, she knew he hated when she tried to act innocent as if she was afraid of him. Huck ran his fingertips down her thighs stroking her softly and she became less tense, her muscles weren't as taut and her breathing had changed.
He leaned down and kissed her, she inched her thighs apart slowly and felt his hand sliding between her legs, she gasped as he slid two fingers inside of her, slowly probing while his lips still moved against her own.
"I've missed you."
"You see me everyday."
"I don't get to see you like this everyday." Quinn wasn't sure when he had switched sides and laid down beside her, she didn't quite care, his slow pace was gradually beginning to speed up.
"That's not my fault." She moaned, he added an extra finger and the way he stretched her felt good. It always felt good, it seemed pleasure was all she felt when they were together. Whether it be in this room or when they worked together, it was always good. Damn, why did it have to be so good?
"Rules." He said and pulled away from her lips, he gasped and froze when he felt her hand grip him.
"Don't stop…" She panted and he moved his fingers inside of her, she was warm and wet. He wanted to be inside of her right now, he had wanted that for over a week. He wanted to stay away from her but he couldn't, each time he left he told himself this would be the last time but it wasn't. He had given up hope that he would ever be able to give her up, she would have to be strong enough to leave him, he slipped his fingers out of her and placed them in his mouth. Moments later he felt her mouth on him, sucking and licking while he guided her movements slowly.
Huck wrapped his fingers in her hair and yanked her head back, she released him from her mouth and looked up at him with that familiar look of happiness and lust. He flipped her onto her back and wasn't surprised to hear her moan, she always coped with his roughness and pushed him to be rougher. He crawled on top of her and slid inside of her. He looked down at her as he gripped the sheets on both sides of her head, she opened her eyes and he could see it. He could see her and began to slam his hips into hers, she wrapped her arms around his neck and pulled him down for a kiss.
She kissed him, tasting him trying to remember what flavor he was. Quinn wanted to give Huck up, she wanted to leave him behind but he looked at her like she was so important, like he loved her. Though he may have never said it she knew somewhere this was more than sex, it had to be.
"Tell me you love me.." Quinn panted against his neck.
"I love you." Huck said, he thought the wetness had come from kisses and not tears. Her hands slipped around his back and she dug her nails into his back, "Quinn…" He moaned her name and froze when her phone began to ring. He looked over for just a second and saw Charlie's name pop up. She tightened her legs around his hips and he couldn't help but grow jealous. No, he had no right to be jealous. He had given up Quinn and he had his own wife but she was what he wanted. He could talk to her for hours on end about things only she would understand and then he could give her space if she needed it. He began to roll his hips into hers and heard her calling out his name, his real name. It sounded heavenly coming from her, she continued to claw at his back until he felt her clenching around him. He felt himself cumming and crying out her name.
"That was amazing…" She said as he rolled off of her, when his breathing evened out he turned his head and grabbed her phone.
"He called."
"I know."
"Shouldn't you call him back?" Huck asked, Quinn could tell by the sharpness in his voice he wasn't happy that Charlie had called. She knew they had a tense past and would never be friends or even cordial to one another.
"I'm with you, you know the rules," She reached up to touch his face but he jerked away from her. "You can't seriously be upset…"
"You. Made. Me. Say. It." He growled and rolled over.
"What? I made you say it?"
"You made say it. I said it and you're going to go back to him… just forget it." He pulled the blankets up over his body and she sat up in the bed staring down at him with disbelief.
"You don't get to do that!" Quinn shouted, she grabbed his pillow from underneath his head and prepared to hit him with it but he was quicker than she thought. He rolled on top of her and snatched the pillow out of her hand and grabbed her wrist, pinning them to the bed. "You go home to your wife, your wife actually shows up and now you act jealous."
"I'm not acting." He said, she looked in his eyes and could see he was torn, just as torn as she was. They had made their mess even worse, they dragged others into it instead of facing their problems. "But I can't have you…"
"No, I can't have you…" Huck released her hands and moved from the bed. "You can't just walk away from me!"
"I'm not, Quinn. Someone is at the door." Huck pulled on his boxers and walked to the door, he hoped they hadn't been too loud. Charlie stood outside the door, holding his phone to his ear and dropped it when he saw Huck. "Shit…"
"Is she in there?" Charlie asked, Huck's silence was more than enough.
"Huck, who is it? Send them away we still need to talk about-" Quinn froze when she saw Charlie standing there. "Shit... Charlie, wait!" But he was already walking quickly down the hallway towards the elevator.
Author's Note: Charlie tracked her phone to her location. It's not a good ship if they don't get caught. Why do I always seem to want them to get caught? Hmmm I'm just as bad as the Scandal writers lol Thanks for reading.
