Voiceless gods
A/N:- Thank you for the reviews and lets carry on. Enjoy.
It was scary. Being inside a room of angels and demons that you barely knew, all of them staring at you. But it was better than being a sword. Saika blinked seeing everyone still in the room. Still on the bed next to her was Shizuka's body looking peaceful, though she knew that was far from the case.
The link she had created between all of her sister's children had shattered when she had been released from the sword. The angel so much like her sister wasn't in the room. Neither was the one that had inherited her power. The one she had given the keyword to activate it. Her gaze fell to the youngest and then to the puppy that was her own child.
It hadn't been planned. Everything was a game of the gods and it all started with the owner of the head in Mikado's hands. Celty. The oracle that had come between her and her sister. It had been her mistake to fall in love and now everyone had been cursed leaving no one to protect their home realm. Every word that Celty had spoken had come true. Shizuka had the family that she had never wanted because of them.
Being born together she and Shizuka had been blessed with great power making them a force to be reckoned with. That power angered the other gods especially when Shizuka had abused her power continuously even as a child. Her sister had a huge sister complex which had only gotten worse as she was consumed by her power.
Celty had been beautiful, her voice enchanting. Saika remembered listening to her voice as she told Shizuka her future in great detail. But not her because she was someone without a future. It was the reason Celty had become so attached. She was the wild card in fate with no set path. Which was why she had been so set on helping her sister find happiness and try to break her curse.
Turning away from the head of her once thought to be soul mate, Saika lifted the covers clenching her fingers. It felt weird to have a body again but Shizuka had brought her back for a reason. To control or be controlled... it was her job to teach them how to use their powers properly. With the barrier and portals gone there was no way to protect anyone.
When they had created it, it wasn't just to keep the angels and demons from fighting. It was to keep the gods out and stop their interference. Effectively they had put the gods' games on hold and for that they had been punished. As cruel as they were, Celty was the one to suffer for their interference. That mesmerising voice had been stolen away, locked so she could only speak in riddles and thrown into the human realm.
Being hopelessly in love, Saika had tried to follow only to end up banished to the lowest depths of hell. It was only a while after that she had discovered her sister had followed her and she too had been cursed. She didn't really want to remember just what had happened to her before Anri- one of the younger gods, had sealed her into a sword.
The problem had been her hatred. That one emotion had consumed her dragging her down. It was because of that her usually disciplined soul had been subjected to the darkness. Even then she had tried to fight it, tried to get through to her sister. Not once had she been heard and when Shizuka's children had come in contact with her, they had been afraid as if she was some sort of monster.
A soft whine made her look up seeing the demon Izaya sitting on the edge of the bed, Shizuo in his arms. Slowly Saika pushed herself up grimacing at how weak she now was. Pushing herself from the bed, her legs wobbled before she came crashing down. "Saika-sama." Mikado put down Celty's head crouching down to help her up. That was when she noticed that he too had become weaker. There was a certain greatness that could be felt coming from each god. She could feel it from the puppy and Tsukishima. There was practically nothing coming from Mikado. The god was almost human.

Tsukishima reached out seeing the woman fall down as she tried to stand up. At the same time he heard the puppy bark loudly wriggling to get free. Hurrying forward he helped his new friend lift Saika back onto the bed. From the corner of his eye he could see the woman's head. Roppi had already told him to stop being a baby.
"A-are you o-okay?" He stuttered. The woman he now knew was his auntie smiled making him feel warm inside. The woman couldn't talk and with the link they had shared gone, there was no way to communicate other than pen and paper.
I'm fine. Thank you. The blond nodded happily with a smile, stepping back to where Roppi was curled up in his wolf form. His head tilted trying to think of what was different from when he had met her in his dream. "Y-your hair." Everyone looked at him making him shrink back at the attention.
"That's right. In our dreams you had black hair and red eyes." Tsugaru stepped in for him. "Why was that?"
Because of my hatred. Strong power has to be controlled otherwise it becomes dangerous. Tsukishima froze seeing Saika's gaze settle on him as he read what she had written. In my case it clouded my speech when I tried to communicate with you. Shizuka has purified whatever negative emotions were there.
The young angel looked at his mother unconscious on the bed. He hadn't done anything to help. Tsugaru had tried to help even though he was injured, as had Delic. All he had done was cry and ask Roppi to come back. His vision was blocked by his older brother carrying Saika. Tsukishima, calm down.
A soft growl sounded from the wolf behind him. Closing his eyes, the angel could feel Tsugaru's power calming him down until he felt nothing. Another softer hand rested on his shoulder. Opening his eyes he found himself staring into softened coffee, that reminded him so much of Shizuo and his mother. I will teach you how to control your power. Tsukishima nodded with a smile.

Shitsuo smiled coldly as he walked into an empty chamber. The archangels were gone. Where, he didn't much care. He could have handled them all. "Shitsuo. What are you doing?" So there had been one. His grandfather, Shizuka's father. Remembering what Sakuraya had said about his mother, he knew he wasn't his real grandfather.
"I'm looking for someone. A demon. Hear me now, tell me what you know." The oldest archangel nodded.
"He was found breaching the building. It was decided the demons would take care of the traitor." Meaning his master was in the demon realm. Turning away, Shitsuo left the main hall without a backwards glance. It was just as easy to drop down into the human realm but something tugged at him to find his master. Not a single angel had been able to stop him and none of them would.

Shitsuo stood in the room where he and Sakuraya had met each time. The room itself was ruined showing the aftermath of the angels and demons that had caught them. The portal was still shimmering. Taking on demons in their own realm wasn't a smart idea, in fact it was probably suicide and without a suit.
"Hear me now. The air in the demon realm can't harm me." With that Shitsuo stepped through the portal, the same as his mother had done previously. His sole thought was on getting the fox demon back.
The archangel found himself standing in what looked like a castle. "Well what do we have here?" Breathing deep, Shitsuo found that he could breath just fine. His wings spread out behind him, not a single sign of corrosion showing. This was what it was like to be the one in control for once. To have power that couldn't be beat.
"Hear me now. Tell me where Sakuraya Orihara is." The first demon froze his eyes glazing over. No matter how big and ugly they were, he was the one in charge.
"In his room waiting for his execution." Execution? The angel shook his head. That wasn't happening.
"Hear me now. Don't leave that spot." Shitsuo declared walking calmly through the mass of demons. That is until he realised he didn't know where the room was. "One of you show me the way." None of the demons moved. "Hear me now. One of you show me the way." Nothing. Not a single response.
Shitsuo looked around seeing the demons had obeyed his first command but not his second. But if that was the case then...His eyes widened trying to pin point the demon that had answered where Sakuraya was. Not seeing anything, Shitsuo quickly left the room. There was a demon loose that couldn't be controlled.
Opening door after door, Shitsuo checked each room trying to find where his master was. He couldn't feel the tug in his mind. "If you don't know the way, you're going to get lost." The blond gasped as he was slammed against the wall. A hand clamped over his mouth stopping him from crying out or trying to use his power. "Quite the power you have there. Controlling everyone with a single word. That power, I want it."
Shitsuo struggled the demon much stronger than him. His wings recoiled hidden from view as the demon touched his feathers. The thought disgusted him, being touched by someone he didn't even like. Throwing his elbow back, the archangel kicked out running. "You aren't getting away that easily." The blond flinched feeling something slimy curl around his wrist. Tugging the tentacle away in disgust, Shitsuo ran faster diving into the nearest room.
By luck or fate it just happened to have an unconscious demon chained on a bed and that demon just happened to be his master. Hurrying over to the bed the blond shook the fox demon. "Sakuraya?" The chains held tight with no key it was hopeless. He didn't have strength like Shizuo. The only hope was if the demon woke up and transformed into his fox form.
"So you found him." Shitsuo gulped looking at the blocked doorway. "Too bad he won't be waking up any time soon." The demon took a step forward. His eyes widened seeing that instead of wings the demon had tentacles coming from his back.
"Hear me now. Stop!" Shitsuo held his hand out trying to use his power again. This time it hurt. A sharp pain splitting his skull. "I said stop." The pain grew worse a red haze covering his vision. A faint light covered his body. Climbing onto the bed he watched as the light covered the chained demon.

Shizuo wriggled free of Izaya's hold falling onto the bed, his ears flopped over his head. The light around his younger brother was changing as Saika guided him through his power. The spot in front of the bed shimmered. It was Tsugaru that had suggested the first test on Tsuki's power should be to get Shitsuo back.
A shudder ran through him, his fur standing on end. Calling out to his brother came out as a series panicked barks. Whatever was coming was bad. Baring his teeth Shizuo growled stepping back. "Shizu-chan?"
"What's wrong with the brat? The snake demon grumbled. "Can't you shut him up?" Izaya's hand patted his head but this time he wasn't calming down. On the floor was a raven identical to Izaya wearing a pink kimono and wrapped in chains. "Sakuraya?" The woman rushed forward tearing at the chains.
Shizuo jumped from the bed knocking the woman away and barking in warning. The reason for his warning came a moment later when Shitsuo was pulled from wherever he had been. Just like the dream where they had first met Saika, the dark feeling now came from his brother. "Shitsuo-sama?" The powerless god looked wary. "Which power did he inherit?"
Shizuo felt his stomach drop seeing his mother scribble something on the piece of paper. Mine. Shitsuo can control with his voice. Shizuo found himself caught and pulled away sharp nails digging into his fur. He let his power consume him. Make sure he can't talk.
"Stupid brat, stay still. You already sensed he was dangerous." Shizuo stopped struggling confused as to why the demon was helping him. It was Izaya that pushed Shitsuo to the floor shoving a makeshift gag into his mouth. He hated seeing his brother treated like that but right now it didn't feel like his brother.
