Shitsuo's return

Shizuo slowly opened his eyes staring at the floating boards. The chair opposite was empty, though that wasn't a surprise since he could feel Izaya's warmth against him. Warm body, ice cold heart. God, demon or whatever the hell Izaya was, they were bound together because for one brief stupid moment he had let his guard down believing that he had been accepted for the freakish hybrid he was.

Now it was too late. Since the truth had come out the wall between them had vanished, Izaya's thoughts bleeding into his own. Soon it would be hard to tell whose thoughts were whose. He knew Izaya was awake and he knew that Izaya knew he was awake. Neither one of them spoke not needing to when there was nothing hiding what they really thought of each other. Maybe there was some way to break the bond and get his own identity back. Maybe his mother or Shizuka knew a way.

The grip around his waist tightened, Izaya not liking the idea. "You can't go anywhere, protozoan. You might as well accept that." The raven spoke softly nuzzling against the back of his neck. He hated how his body reacted and maybe that would never change because of the bond. But that didn't mean that -

"I hate you. You disgust me." Shizuo growled tearing Izaya's hand away from him. Crimson orbs narrowed as he was rolled over face to face with his soul mate. "If you hurt-" A hand covered his mouth a shudder running through him hearing the raven's thoughts.

"Is that so? I don't think you understand the extent of our bond, Shizu-chan. You are mine from the moment you were born to the end of eternity. Nothing will change that." Shizuo grit his teeth throwing the flea from him.

"Shut up about all this fate crap!" The hybrid barked angrily. "You think manipulating everything is going to make me yours? You lied to me. You hurt my family. If you try anything I will destroy you!" Izaya slowly sat up from where he had landed by the floating boards laughing.

"Then I might have to break you first, protozoan." Shizuo blinked seeing the boards flicker momentarily wondering if Izaya had been the cause. As soon as the thought crossed his mind the raven snapped his head around glaring at them. With a wave of one hand Shizuo felt himself drop landing on cold stone. Around him small black points stuck out from the ground. In mere seconds steel bars shot up enclosing around him in a cage. "Now why don't you stay in there like a good boy and I'll get rid of the distortion."

Tsuki. It could only be his little brother. "Don't you dare touch him!" The steel bars were helpless against his strength falling with a clang. Lashing out he aimed for Izaya the damn flea dodging out of the way. "Stay the hell out of my head!" That was when he caught the flea's smirk, the ground falling away from him leaving him to fall down past the block platforms.

Tsukishima jolted away from Roppi a strange wind surrounding him twisting everything around him. The demon though held tight stubbornly remaining at his side. Hands against his head he tried to calm down. It was different than usual his vision spinning seeing nothing yet everything at the same time. Somewhere inside him something else was calling out.

It was more of glitch more than anything. It was as if the everything was connected to him and for a brief moment everything just stopped. The young angel swayed where he stood glancing down to see the golden circle spread out from beneath him. "R-Roppi-kun." Tsuki whimpered. A great weight pressed down on his shoulders becoming too heavy.

"Stupid. If it hurts so much go to sleep." Roppi chided. Tsuki smiled feeling the demon's fingers in his hair. "I'll watch over you."

"I- I might be asleep for a long time." A set of knuckles lightly rapped his head. The angel blushed bowing his head. Roppi was nice, he really liked him. His chest felt warm even as there was a tug at his consciousness. Time was up.

"Just shut up and go to sleep." He would wait. Roppi would wait for him not matter how long he slept. Feeling small in the demon's arms Tsuki slowly let his eyes close not knowing the next time he would wake up. Really it should have scared him to tears instead he felt warm and safe knowing that he wouldn't be alone.

Shitsuo sighed in irritation knowing he was being followed. With the portals gone there was no way to get out of the human realm. Glancing behind him he could see the sly fox hiding in the shadows. "Hear me now. Go away." The fox turned and ran. His power drained a lot of energy leaving him feeling empty. With a sigh the blond glanced around looking for a place to rest. Turning the corner his footstep paused. The fighting still continued. "Hear me now. Get out of the way and leave me alone."

Everyone in front of him stopped retracting their weapons and taking a step back. Shitsuo smiled taking his time to walk through the parted crowd. Covering a yawn his steps quickened leading him to the nearest building that just so happened to be a hotel. A love hotel but still a hotel.

It wasn't much of a surprise that the reception desk was empty. Hanging up on the wall within reach were the card keys. Unhooking the nearest one Shitsuo headed straight for the stairs. A wisp of darkness swirled around his ankle his vision darkening for mere moments. "Shitsuo." Behind him he heard his name being called. Why wasn't he staying away?

Breaking into a brisk walk Shitsuo found the room slotting the card into the lock. Pushing the door open the blond slammed the door behind it clutching at his chest. "Shitsuo. Open the door." Clasping his trembling fingers he tried not to listen to the command given. "Open it." Came a more insistent voice.

"Hea-"

"Shitsuo, please open the door." Tears welled up leaking from his ducts. Fingers on the door handle Shitsuo felt his hand move of its own accord. The door swung open standing there was the feminine looking fox demon with a sly spark in his eye. "Thank you." The door closed leaving him with no escape.

"Why can't you leave me alone? Why are you giving me orders?" Shitsuo took a step back eyes widening as he caught sight of what room they were in. A marriage suite of all places. The bed was in a shape of a heart the rest of the room set out like a chapel. Sakuraya's fingers reached out touching his cheek.

"Because you were born for me. You're drowning, Shitsuo. All those new emotions you're feeling are submerging you into darkness. You won't become a fallen, you'll become worst than those beasts in the lowest layer of hell."

Shitsuo flinched back shaking his head. "He-" The demon was on him pushing him down on the soft bounciness. A water bed. Warm lips melded against his own, smooth hands brushed against his skin. The raven was too strong for someone so slim. Sakuraya's tongue slipped between his lips, a hand against his crotch.

"I'm sorry, Shitsuo. I can't let you push me away any longer. Things have already progressed for the worst." Before he could utter a single word his mouth was sealed again. The fight in him drained his own muscle flicking out to taste the raven. "Trust me. I was born for you." Averting his gaze Shitsuo stared at the alter to the right of the bed.

"I- I...make it stop. Its painful." His emotions were out of control, a chaotic whirlwind inside him. "I don't want to feel this way." Sakuraya smiled gently down at him wiping away a tear.

"I'm going to bind you. What I feel, what you feel it will be between us. Everything will go away, I promise." Shitsuo's lips twitched one hand reaching up to brush the soft furry ears. "Hold on just a little longer."

Saika closed the door leaving the sleeping child asleep in the bed. Mikado would stay with her. For now she was more concerned about where the rest of her family were. Too caught up in finding Anri again she had neglected to notice her son stepping out. The demon was gone too making her anxious. They shouldn't have split up. Even if her son and nephews had their soul mates they shouldn't have split up.

Hearing a knock at the door she hurried to open it expecting Shizuo. Saika gasped stepping back. "I told you t-" A gloved hand clapped over her mouth her body spinning as she was pinned to Celty, soft breasts pressing against her back. One hand was typing the screen shown to her. I've only come here to talk. The young angel has gone to sleep. Tsuki. Her youngest nephew had gone into his awakening sleep. Already it was too late to do anything.

Feeling her heart thud in her chest Saika stepped out of her old lover's arms walking over to the sofa. "Pen. Paper." The objects appeared in her hands. Say what you need to then go. Its painful to see you. Above them the sky rumbled loudly sending a chill through her. This wasn't normal thunder. It sounded as if the gods were fighting above them. I gave you back your head, you can talk can't you?

Suspicious crimson eyed the small shadows dancing near Celty's feet. A puff of shadow spiked from her throat. But you can't unless you use your powers. You have a son. Saika read the message averting her gaze. Nibbling the end of the pen she tried to think of how to respond. I remember. Not everything but what we were to each other. I'm sorry. I was falling in love whilst you wer-

"Don't type any more." Saika snapped. Celty dropped the phone as if she had been burnt. Pen on paper she scrawled her next words. Forget it. Our time is already over. You have someone else and I have my family to watch over. Shizuka hasn't woken up yet. Please go. Saika thrust the piece of paper against Celty. "Tell me. Where is my son now? You should be able to tell the future again without those ridiculous rhymes."

"Its complicated." Celty's head slowly spoke. "There's interference. I can see bits and pieces but its like the world is about to end. After tomorrow there's nothing. I can see a god and a demi-god fighting, the rest...nothing." Saika bit her lip knowing exactly who was interfering.

"Tell me if you can see Shizuka?" She already knew Celty couldn't see her. Their futures were of their own making yet they had still managed to get sucked in. Saika smiled despite herself. It was good to see Celty again. Things could have been worse, instead the one she loved had found someone else. It was already too late for them to go back to how it was.

Celty shook her head. "I can't see anything."

"Nn." Shitsuo arched back away from the demon's hands his head resting against his arms his knees beginning to ache with the way he was kneeling. His shoulder was bleeding from where he had been bitten the bond settling in. Sakuraya had kept true to his word putting up a wall against his thoughts. The darkness inside him was still there somewhere in the back of his mind. "Ah!" But that was something to talk about later. For now he was being taught another emotion. Pleasure and the demon was a brilliant teacher.

Shitsuo cried out as the raven smashed against his sweet spot, his hands clawing at the covers. The bed wobbled beneath them. "Apologies that I didn't go slower. I'm the oldest of my brothers and have been waiting for this moment a long time." Sakuraya whispered against his ears thrusting deep inside. Embarrassment. That was another one and pain but that had quickly dissolved into pleasure. He didn't care about the demon's excuse, all of the raven's thoughts had become his. Nothing was hidden.

The blond froze coming across a startling memory. It was a memory of Sakuraya asking his mother why his younger brother had a strange smell when he was born. Shitsuo gasped a hand on his hip knocking him off balance. "What? What was that?" There was no need for the demon to ask.

"Later." The demon groaned tensing. The arch angel felt the exact moment his wings turned charcoal. By having intercourse with the demon he had become a fallen. Funny how he now felt more of an angel now than he did before. "Ah!" Shitsuo flushed at the mess underneath him. The same mess that was inside him. It was only thanks to the demon that he didn't collapse on the bed. His cheeks darkened hearing the squelch as Sakuraya pulled out of him spent. "Can you stand?"

The fallen angel threw one arm over the raven's shoulder leaning on his new mate. "What colour are my eyes?" He asked worrying.

"Don't worry, they aren't red. I won't let the darkness take you." Shitsuo nodded thanking the raven. "No problem. Come on, I'll help you into the shower. Or would you prefer a bath? Bath it is." Sakuraya added reading his mind.

"What was that memory?" He asked quietly. Soft pink orbs met his.

"You know how every family has a black sheep. In your case it would be your hybrid brother. In ours it would be Izaya. When he was born I thought Izaya had a strange smell. Then he was too smart for his own good as if he had already seen everything. My brother isn't just a demon. Your younger brother is in a lot of trouble if he rejects Izaya."

"What? Then we have to-"

"Lets take a bath first." Sakuraya coaxed leading him in the direction of the small bathroom. Shitsuo sighed not minding the order. His mate didn't mean it like that he knew that now. Not to mention he had been saved.

Shizuo coughed up silver wiping his mouth with the back of his hand. Pulling himself up from the ground his body protested in pain. More spikes shot up from the ground on one side. Turning around he found the ground cracking under his feet thick vines shooting out of the dirt. Dark green coils wound around his ankles, curling around his wrists holding him high above the ground. "This place is too new for you, Shizu-chan. You can't control it. You should have stayed a good boy."

Shizuo cursed tearing his hand free. "We could do this for the rest of eternity, protozoan." The vines renewed their hold binding him. His vision span as he went flying straight into the ground landing still bound at Izaya's feet. "This could have gone so much easier." The raven cooed crouching down to stroke his cheek. "Why did you have to go and defy me?" The hybrid glared at his soul mate struggling to break free.

"Izaaaaayaaaa!" He screamed watching as the demon grew those damn ears and tail again bounding towards the portal. Tsuki. Izaya would go after Tsuki. "Get back here!" Cold mocking laughter filled the air. Helpless he watched the portal vanish and with it Izaya. With a growl Shizuo tore himself free running to where the portal had been. Behind him he could hear the ground rumble, his clothes torn, silver beaded cuts all over his body.
