World's end
Shitsuo felt himself smile laying down next to his soul mate. He didn't know what he had been so afraid of. Somehow he felt lighter with all of his burdens gone. No not gone...shared. "That look suits you better." Sakuraya commented reaching over to touch his cheek. The blond blushed averting his gaze. The raven laughed softly reading his mind. "Get used to it."
There was still the matter of his younger brother being soul mates with a troublesome god. Shizuo hated lies and being manipulated, there was no doubt that he would reject the raven if he hadn't already found out. As much as he wanted to check on his brother, his body felt sated and refused to move. "Is that bad?" Shitsuo asked slipping his fingers into the raven's.
"No. Its not bad to pursue your own happiness. If you'd like we could stay here." Sakuraya murmured inching closer. "Choose what you want to do, Shitsuo and I will support you. This isn't just you and me any more. Its us." The fallen angel smiled moving as close as possible wanting the demon's warmth against him.
To rush off now would only show that he didn't trust his brother. Shizuo would probably be insulted at their help wanting to handle things himself. "Lets stay here for a while." He finally answered the smiling demon. Even before he had opened his eyes, Sakuraya had known his answer. "Shizuo can handle himself. Besides everyone else is there."

Delic found his gaze lingering on the arrogant demon. It was strange how his heart had changed. His immoral feelings for his brother were all but gone instead focusing on the raven. He hadn't expected it to happen yet here he was acting like a school girl staking out her first crush. The thought made him laugh. "What is so funny?" Hibiya snapped turning to glare at him.
"Nothing, Hibiya-sama." The blond reassured his soul mate. His fingers rested against his throat brushing against the bond. So this is what it took to tie him down. Well it had worked and now his attention was on someone that didn't recognize his feelings. "You reap what you sow." Delic sighed quietly. How many times had he controlled the lust of those around him? His own fingers itched to reach out and pin the raven down taking everything.
Somehow though that didn't feel right. Hibiya would only become indignant if he tried anything. "What is wrong with you?" The demon snapped striding closer to him. Slowly Delic stood taking a step back. "Who gave you permission to walk away from me?" His wrist was snatched up, the ex host hid a smile as he was pulled against the raven. "You will remain here." Delic nodded in resignation, the raven not knowing that in truth he was happy.

"Damn it. Damn it. Daaaamn it!" Shizuo yelled tugging himself free. One trick after the next thanks to Izaya's demented mind. He barely had time to think for himself trying to change his surroundings. That though would be what the raven wanted, to keep him there until it was too late to change anything. "Fuck!" He cursed heading into a patch of thorny vines. Behind him thick blocks dropped down threatening to crush him.
Taking a step back Shizuo turned slamming a fist into the thick stone. His knuckles cracked under pressure his hand trembling as he was forced to move out of the way. "Get off of me." The hybrid howled feeling the sharp thorns dig into his ankles. Why was this happening? "Damn it. Damn it. Tsuki. If he hurts Tsuki... Izaaayaaa!"

"What's wrong, Tsu-chan?" Psyche chimed squeezing his arm. Tsugaru shook his head looking down from the sky. "You know where your brother is?" Which one? He almost asked feeling strange. It felt like something bad was going to happen but there was no way to tell with the link between them gone.
"Shitsuo and I have always been closer than the others. We were born at the same time. This way." Tsugaru followed the feeling in his gut pulling him towards where his twin was.
"Hn." Psyche pouted gazing up at him. "I'm jealous. Just kidding. We're soul mates, we couldn't get much closer." The blond smiled softly ruffling the raven's hair watching those long ears quiver under his touch.
"That's right. It's here." A dark blush covered his cheeks as he saw the building his twin was currently residing in. A love hotel. He knew the fox demon had chased after his dark influenced brother but for them to end up here... Next to him Psyche grinned looking anything but innocent.
"Ooh. Are we going in?" Before he could utter a single objection he found himself being pulled inside. Seeing how all of the demons and angels had vacated the area solely around the building it was clear Shitsuo had done something. "Can we stay here for a bit?" As tempting as it was there was something more pressing to do. He needed both Shitsuo and Shizuo's blood in order to wake his mother.
It was a little embarrassing having to check the rooms with the five keys missing. The do not disturb sign made him even more reluctant to open the door. Psyche though had no such queries throwing the door open. "Sorry to disturb you. Oh!" A sharp scream pierced his ears. Tsugaru didn't blame her. An angel woman in bed with a demon even as the fighting continued outside.
"Please don't kill me." The woman cried holding the demon. Tsugaru shook his head. It was too late the angel had fallen joining the demon's ranks. He was glad to see though that they were together. His family weren't the only ones in forbidden relationships. Amongst the fighting there were still those that didn't care about the differences between the two races.
Tsugaru bowed politely flashing the woman a smile. "We're sorry to disturb you." Taking a step back he ushered Psyche from the room closing the door. "Come on, lets try the next room." His soul mate was more than happy skipping beside him with a wide smile on his face.

I should get back. Celty typed out already standing. Saika said nothing knowing how complicated it was between them. Slowly standing she took a step forward embracing her old lover. She could feel trembling fingers against her back. "Its okay." Saika murmured. "You should go back." Celty froze releasing her and taking a step back. There was nothing more spoken between them.
Saika stood at the door frame watching Celty leave walking away. She had a strange feeling it would be the last time they saw each other. Folding her arms she leaned against the door frame closing her eyes. "I wish you the best. Be happy, Celty." Placing a finger against her lips to stop herself from saying anything foolish, Saika turned to go back inside.
"Wait a minute, Saika-san." Holding the door she let Izaya walk past her. "Was that Celty-san?" Shrugging her shoulders Saika closed the door not wanting to let the demon know unnecessary things. Realising the demon's arms were empty she reached for the notepad scribbling her question. "Where is Shizu-chan? He's resting for a bit."
Narrowing her eyes she found herself walking to the window staring up at the sky as thunder rumbled. "Calm." She spoke the word quietly one brow raised when the noise continued. Meaning it wasn't natural and not in this realm. Something was happening in the realm of the gods.
"Is Mikado-kun still here?" Izaya asked. Saika didn't bother to turn around nodding her head. "I suppose he's watching over Anri-chan and you're about to go and watch over Tsuki-chan's awakening?" How did he know that? Turning around a hand clamped over her mouth sealing her power. Saika struggled feeling a sharp blade pressed against her throat. "Such a strong power, so easily sealed." The demon teased.
Clenching her fist Saika swung her fist back, her cry muffled in the demon's hand as her arm was caught and bent up behind her. "To think you would be the one to give birth to Shizu-chan. Of course it would be the wild card of fate. You don't remember me, do you?" She could feel her blood run cold knowing the demon had her at his mercy. "I have Shizu-chan but you and Shizuka-chan had to create that other monster. I'm afraid I'll have to dispose of that one."
Tsukishima. The demon knew what Tsuki's power was. "Anyone else would go straight there. Unfortunately for you I expected that you would interfere. Sorry Saika-chan." Saika's eyes widened feeling the blade dig in and draw across her throat as Izaya quickly moved his hand. Staring in shock she fell to the ground hearing a scream from the bedroom. Sure enough the door opened the small girl rushing out. "Anri-chan. What do you think you're doing?"
Saika reached out trying to tell the girl to get away, one hand clutching at her throat to try and stop the bleeding. "Hn...Since you are my Shizu-chan's mother, it would be bad if you die. Now then, how to keep you out of the way..." Saika felt something lock around her wrist. All feeling in her body vanished replaced by a familiar coldness. "Bye bye, Saika-chan." Izaya waved watching as she returned to her sword form.
Cold. That was all she could feel as her hilt was picked up. It wouldn't be long until her consciousness was submerged. "Anri-chan, you'll take care of this won't you?" Saika couldn't do anything as the flat side of the blade was placed against the little girl. But Izaya had made a mistake. It was in her sword form that she could reach out to those that shared her blood and considering that the demon was bound to her son... at least she could warn them.

Shizuo stopped feeling a spark run through his mind. At first he thought it was Izaya checking in on him, the sick raven enjoying what he was going through. The feeling though was much more familiar sending a chill through him. "Mother?" Just like the first time he could feel something spread connecting him and his brothers.
His body stopped smoothing allowing the vines to wrap around him. Calm down. Doing as he was told everything around him vanished leaving an empty plain. Think of me and Shizuka. As soon as they came to mind the ground rumbled beneath him. The flower field was back along with a large fountain. What caught his attention though was a temple. "Am I dreaming?" It was exactly the same as the one he and his brothers had first seen. No. This is our home.
Taking a step towards the temple Shizuo clenched his fist. "What happened? What did Izaya do?" The link had broken the first time when Saika had been released from the sword...The voice in the back of his mind stayed silent. "What did he do to you?"
That doesn't matter. Your brother is in danger. Gritting his teeth in anger Shizuo hurried up the stone steps running along the floor towards the two chairs he had seen in his dreams. No one can hurt you here. If he stayed he would be safe from Izaya but then what about his little brother? Or better yet why wasn't Tsuki included in the new link. Correct. Tsuki is asleep. Meaning completely defenceless.

Shitsuo sat up feeling the link reconnect by the looks of things it had connected Sakuraya too. His heart went out to Shizuo knowing something had happened to Saika. He could feel the confusion from the other Oriharas and surprise from his brothers. Tsuki wasn't among them. "We need to go." The raven nodded in agreement quickly adjusting.
Throwing open the door the blond stood frozen staring at his twin. Remembering where they were his face flushed. "Um..." Caught off guard he found himself enveloped in Tsugaru's arms. "Sorry for the trouble."
His brother smiled. "Don't worry about it. I was going to ask you for your blood but it looks like that's a little too late." Behind him Sakuraya coughed, Psyche staring at them jealously.
"I believe you are right. Tsukishima is the one in danger." The door slammed shut as the room was vacated the four of them hurrying back to where the youngest Heiwajima lay sleeping unaware of what was happening.

"Shizuo." Delic breathed staring up at the sky. Hibiya was staring strangely at him probably jealous that Izaya was a god. Since he wasn't he couldn't go and comfort his brother but what he could do was help protect Tsuki. "I knew there wasn't something right about him." Shizuo had lost his mother as well as his relationship with Izaya.
"I order you to stay here with me." Hibiya snapped holding his wrist. The blond shook his head pulling his wrist free. "Oi! Did you not hear me?"
"I'm sorry, Hibiya-sama. My family comes first." Walking away he found the arrogant raven striding ahead. "...Thank you." The demon snorted continuing to walk on. Delic tilted his head back looking up at the sky. "We'll protect Tsuki." Through the link he could feel his brothers agree, the same with their soul mates. The only concern was that thanks to being connected to Shizuo, Izaya knew they were coming.

Shizuo sighed trudging over to the table where the boards were afloat. The raven probably hadn't anticipated him getting back up. In front of him was the world. The first representing the angel realm, the second the demon, the third the human realm and lastly the realm where he now stood. Taking a step forward the boards moved circling around him.
Saika's voice had vanished from his mind, the last thing he had felt from her was pain. His mother was gone. Shizuka was missing. Tsuki was in his awakening sleep and the rest of his brothers were on their way to fight a fight that he should be. Instead he was trapped. Izaya had wanted him out of the way. "Shizuka?" The hybrid blinked seeing an enlarged globe from one of the boards. Inside was an image of Shizuka on a bed, Kanra sitting next to her. The image faded leaving him staring once again at the four boards. From here he could see everything in the realms below.

Tsugaru was the first to arrive at Shinra's apartment. "Back so soon? Your brother feel asleep." The blond nodded resting a hand on the raven's shoulder. "Is this the whole family?" Shinra asked seeing them all standing at the door. "Izaya already came to take Tsukishima somewhere he could rest properly."
"Did he say where?" Delic asked stepping forward.
"No, nothing. Is there something wrong?" Shitsuo took a step back clutching Sakuraya's hand.
"Nothing we can't handle. If you see them let me know." Turning away Tsugaru walked from the apartment complex. Something told him he was too late. Maybe it was the cold mirth he could feel from Shizuo's soul mate. They had been too late. Izaya wouldn't want to deal with all of them, not when all he was interested in was his brother. Feeling Shizuo's thoughts he turned around seeing if everyone else had felt the same.
"Izaya has taken your brother to a place we can't cross." Sakuraya informed them. Delic grit his teeth feeling angry at himself. Why couldn't he protect those he cared about? Why were his intentions rejected from the very start?
"Delic, there's nothing we can do." Tsugaru's calming hand rested on his shoulder. "Its up to Shizuo and Tsuki now."

"Shizu-chan, I'm back." Shizuo turned in shock seeing his younger brother dropped to the ground. The gold patterns only seemed to get thicker and darker. "Did you miss me?"
"What did you do to my mother?" The hybrid growled fists clenched. Izaya only laughed.
"I stopped her interfering. Once I do away with this nuisance we can be together." Shizuo took a step closer wanting to smash the flea to bits. Instead a loud howl pierced through the air, a wolf leaping at Izaya. He could see the raven was shocked. Taking his chance he quickly stepped forward lifting Tsuki into his arms. "Roppi." Izaya cursed. "You won't be able to survive long up here."
Shizuo watched in amazement as the wolf tried to tear the flea's throat out. Roppi, his brother's soul mate though he doubted that they had been bound to each other since the last time he had seen them. "Shizu-chan!" Izaya snapped slashing at the wolf. "Give him to me." Gently setting his brother under the table, the boards seemed to move erratically.
"No. This is where it ends Izaya. You hurt my mother, you won't touch Tsuki." Shizuo charged like a raging bull slamming into Izaya, this time the two of them went flying off of the edge. His fist slammed into the raven's head. They didn't fall far landing on one of the platforms.
"You'll have to do better than that, Shizu-chan. Don't you know what your brother is?" Shizuo groaned recovering from the kick to his ribs. His wings spread out behind him, an advantage against the wingless god. Still the raven managed to keep up changing the scenery in the the realm. Somehow Shizuo was always a step behind.

Tsuki felt weightless drifting everywhere and nowhere. His eyes were heavy taking everything he had just to open them. He didn't know what had woken him but he knew how much time had passed. Resting on his stomach was a wolf. His eyes widened seeing the blood. "R-Roppi-kun." The wolf glanced at him without moving. Pulling himself up he found that he couldn't move, strange gold lettering surrounding him.
In the distance he could hear Izaya and his brother fighting, both of them covered in blood from their wounds. Reaching up his hand rested on the table making him cry out. "Tsuki?" He heard his brother call out. "How are you awake?" His brother stepped back onto the platform walking towards him.
"Shizuo-nii!" The young angel called in panic. Izaya didn't go for his brother though. The raven went straight for him. Tsukishima blinked seeing everything in slow motion. His arms wrapped around Roppi trying to stop his friend from getting hurt. Shizuo stood hand held out using his power. He could see the shock in Izaya's eyes. Tsuki cowered as the boards splintered exploding into pieces, the mass of energy flooded into him and he knew this was what had woken him. His eyes widened as he was consumed. Everything faded slowly vanishing until there was nothing.
