Ch.26

I forgot how fun it was to lay out purple dragon scum in without Leo hunting after us. Throwing my daggers at one, pinning him to the wall, watching him struggle to get free I smirked. Drawing my double blades I twirled them before slicing a dragon with a gun who was about to aim it at me, finishing with the few that were on my side, I lined back to back with Raph and kept fighting. Hearing Raph chuckle as he teased the dragons I continued to count the number of dragons I took down, knowing he was doing the same. Tying up the defeated dragons, we finished and started to compare numbers.

"Alright how many big guy?"

"Thirteen,"

"Thirteen?"

"Yeah, you?" I didn't answer and could feel a blush of embarrassment cover my face. Thank god for a helmet. "Cat?"

"Fine, I got eight…"

"Eight, does this mean I-"

"Don't you say it."

"Oh but I-" he started to get excited as I started to walk away.

"No, no, shut up," I tried to walk faster as Raph was now right beside me staring down at me and I could feel his teasing smile on me.

"So that means I won".

"…shut up," I muttered as he then got in front of me and stared down at me.

"Say it,"

"No," I stood my ground and stared back up at Raph with my hands on my hips. Crossing his arms, Raph took a step foreword and I could feel his stare burning holes through me as he towered over me.

"Come on say it kitty cat, just say it," I then started to step back as he then started to follow me.

"Never!"

"Cat!" Raph shouted as he chased me down the alley, climbing up the fire escape of the closet building he started to chase me over roof tops. Our laughter echoed around us till I came to a dead end. Looking over the edge I could Raph's bike waiting for us behind a few trash cans. Hearing someone skid next to me I could see Raph stare down at me and I could feel his eyes on me.

"End of the line," I rolled my eyes and shook my head.

"Nope, now let's get back before fearless has a heart attack. It's already 2 am," I reminded him as he shook his head and groaned.

"What ever, ladies first," Raph sarcastically gave a gentleman bow making me giggle.

"What a gentleman," I gave a small curtsy as we both started to climb the latter down to the street. Before getting on the bike I looked up to see a slender man dressed in all navy with a gold looking symbol over his breast. Feeling Raph kick back the stand and catch the bike, I jumped slightly as it caught me off guard. Clutching my arms around Raph's waist he chuckled before looking back.

"What's up, falling for my charm?"

"Shut up wise guy and drive," I shot back as I looked back up on the ledge where the man stood. Searching the roof tops, he had vanished in to the night. Shaking it off, we both headed back to the lair. Who was that?

Walking out of the garage in to the sewers, we took our helmets off, sighing as we both started walking to the "front door" Raph had a huge smile dancing on his lips.

"You know you have to say it," he smirked gazing down at me as I shook my head.

"Why should I, you already know it, why do I have to say it?" I asked walking past him around a corner towards the entrance of the lair.

"Cat," I paused hearing something in Raph's voice, there was a ring to it that made me stop in my tracks. I looked back behind me cautiously with a tiny bit of fear as a dark smile grew on Raph's olive lips. "I will make you say it," with that he started to chase me down the sewers as I gave a playful yelp before running as fast as I could. Seeing the "front door" in sight I smiled, though my home stretch was short lived as I felt myself being lifted up and thrown over someone's shoulder.

"RAPH!"

"Say it!"

"Never!" I shouted as Raph opened the door. Walking in to the living room he patted my bottom making me gasp.

"Raphael!" I scolded him as he merely chuckled and stopped by the dojo on the way to the stair case.

"No you have to say it," Raph demanded as pretended to let go and let me fall to the floor making me grasp his should and armor to keep from falling.

"Say what, I have no idea what you mean," I laughed as I heard Raph sighed.

"You put this upon yourself Cat".

"What-"I was cut off by Raph starting to spin in circles making me yelp before I covering my mouth remembering everyone was asleep. Stopping for a brief moment then starting spinning in the other direction. Everything start to blind together as I grew very dizzy and giggled from the colors blending together.

"No matter what you do, I won't submit!"

"You wanna bet?" Raph laughed as he ran up stairs and walked in to his room. Beating on his shell I huffed.

"We're back now could you put me down tough guy".

"As you wish," he smirked as Raph dropped me on the bed as I landed with and "ophf" knocking me out of air slightly.

"Should have phrased that better," I muttered breathlessly as he smirked down at me, "Oh god…" I whispered as Raph then jumped on the bed on top of me and started to tickle me.

"Say it," he chuckled as I start laughing with tears streaming down my face.

"Fine," giggles I tried to breath, "You win!"

"Finally, was that so hard?" he smirked as I rolled my eyes at him.

"Whatever now get out so I can change".

"This is my room, why don't you get out?"

"Cause you're a gentleman…" we both stared at the other before we both busted out laughing. Standing up I took off my armor to reveal my black tank top and placed it beside the bed and took off my extra padding before laying back down on the bed, leaving me in a tight black tank top and black cargos. Sitting on the bed I then laid back and felt all my muscles start to relax from our night. "Oh god I feel gross," I scrunched my nose as Raph laughed as he did the same and sat down next to me.

"Your fine, you smell better than me," he snickered.

"I think I would have to try to smell as bad as you after a work out,"

"Hey, so you mean right now?"

"Sorta you don't smell that bad," Raph lay back and we both laid staring at the ceiling. Yawning I snuggled in to Raph's side and smiled when I felt his arm around me.

"I think I know what I want for my favor," Raph commented as I nodded half awake.

"Alright, let's hear it," I tried to stay awake as I heard him sigh.

"Don't laugh."

"You know I wouldn't," I replied in an exhausted tone failing to stay awake, "So come on and tell me," I poked his side making him jump slightly making me smile. Feeling his head turn to mine felt at peace.

"Alright I want to go out for a ride, you know…"

"A ride, didn't we just do that?"

"Not that kind of ride, I mean… never mind forget it," leaning up Raph looked away embarrassed as I stared down at him.

"Hey come on tell me," I smiled as he looked up at me and then looked away.

"Fine, you laugh you sleep on the couch," Raph threatened making me giggle.

"Seems we're in reversed roles here," Raph rolled his eyes before looking up at me.

"Alright, I mean…you know you and I go for a night ride… just us, no bad guys,"

"Are you asking me on a date tough guy?" I tried to tease as his brawl furrowed frustrated making me go in to shock. "You're serious?"

"What do you think, that's why I said-"

"I would like that," it was Raph's turn to stare up at me in shock as I smiled back down at him. "First sleep would be much appreciated," I yawned before moving towards the pillows on the bed and snuggling in to one. Feeling the weight shift off the bed I turned over to see Raph getting comfortable in his hammock. Watching him, I felt at complete peace wash over me. Seeing him finally get snuggled in we both stared at the other, no smiles, no teasing sarcastic looks, the only thing that lingered between us was a gentle tranquility that melted away our worries. Flashing Raph one last sleepy smile I soon fell in to deep slumber. A date, I can't remember I was taken out by a guy. This will be fun.
