I hope you enjoy this chapter! I really want to update on a weekly basis. Please let me know what you think! And thank you to all the reviews and follows! I really appreciate it, you guys are what is keeping me writing this story, so thanks!

A week had passed since my incident with the wolves. I had rested day in and day out in the comfort of my bedroom. According to Anna, I had been banned to ever entering the woods unattended again. Jack had come to the castle each day to see me, even though I told him he didn't have to, he still insisted. He said he felt responsible for my injury and that it was an excuse for him to see me. I enjoyed him coming to see me, but yet I felt that I was such a burden to him. I was still terrified that I would hurt him, but he always reassured me that he would be 'fine'. We talked for hours when he visited, about his life, and mine. We chatted about his work, about my duties as Queen. We often joked that if the wolves ever came back that we would be ready and well equipped. We also talked about my powers and how he was so egger to see them in action. Jack would beg me to just show him something. One day in particular, I surprised Jack and flicked my wrists making the snow fall gently around my bed. His face lit up.

"How do you do this?" Jack said in amazement.

"I don't know, I just can." I said with a smirk.

Jack grabbed my hand, catching my off guard as I was still starring at the snow falling from the ceiling.

"We need to get you back outside. I can't wait to see what you are capable of".

I nodded and smiled. Jack smiled while tightening his grip on my hand and squeezed ever so lightly.

With each passing day, Jack and I counted down the days to when I was able to be more mobile. I started walking around my room, putting weight on my foot. Jack held me up making sure I didn't put too much weight on my injured foot.

"Don't overdo it Elsa!" Anna shouted while walking into my room.

"I won't Anna, I'm just.."

"She's doing great!" Jack said cutting me off. "I think she will be back to her old self in no time. What do you think?" He said while nudging me.

"I think it's a work in progress" I said while taking a seat in my armchair.

"Well you have some more paperwork to do" Anna said while walking towards me with a large amount of papers. "We need these trade agreements to be looked at and signed off".

I nodded as Anna passed them to me. She made her way to the door but then stopped and swiftly turned on her heel.

"Will you be staying for dinner?" Anna said while motioning to Jack.

"I would love to Anna, however I must be getting going. I have some work to do myself at the cabin".

Anna nodded, and made her way out into the corridor.

I frowned as I enjoyed Jack's company so well. He kept my mind off of other things, and my powers seemed to be somewhat controlling themselves within the past few days. I felt at ease with Jack, it was just something about him. Jack grabbed his coat and walked towards me. At this point I was just starring at my crumbled hands in my lap, feeling somewhat sorry for myself.

I felt Jack near me, and I starred up from my seat. Our eyes met and I felt more put together, starring into his dark brown eyes. I could feel my cheeks turning red.

"Why so sad?" He said while kneeling down to my eye level.

"I'm not sad.. I just enjoy your company".

"Well my Queen, I'll be back tomorrow morning, and we shall improve on that walking. Soon enough we will be out enjoying what Arendelle has to offer." He smiled and grasped my hand. I smiled back.

"I can't wait".

"Me either" Jack said in a low tone which was almost a whisper. His voice was electrifying. He stood up from his kneeling position, but doing so, he leaned forward and ever so gently planted a small kiss on my forehead.

I felt my body radiating. I don't know if it was the icy shards attempting to escape or if my body was turning completely red from blushing. I enjoyed every second of this precious moment.

"Until tomorrow." Jack said while backing away from my chair. I was still grasping his hand. Slowly I released it, making sure I touched each finger tip with my own. Oh, how I longed for his touch.

With one more smile exchanged, Jack was gone from my room.

I let out a huge sigh, realizing I had been holding my breath that entire moment.
