Chapter 15: Chaos Unfiltered (Part 2)

"Look at us, in route to kick some ass! Who's ready to save the world?" Toshiro yelled over the wind. His smile was contagious as he looked over to his grandfathers.

"Watch that tongue brat, you may just lose it." Vegeta said, glaring at the teen. His eyes rolled, not just because of the foul language, but because the boy was just overall infuriating, just like Trunks.

"Aww relax Vegeta, can't you see that he's just excited? I bet this is your first huge fight, am I right?" Goku smiled. Even right before a potentially deadly fight, the Sayian always played it off and seemed to stay lighthearted.

The Sayian family zipped through the air at amazing speeds drawing closer to the desert-like caves. 'Only a few minutes to unfiltered chaos.'

Her belly was ever expanding, though not bursting. Her blemish free face slick with sweat… the stress was starting to get to her. "Im going out." She told her mother and Bulma.

"And where is out Pan?" Chichi asked taking a sip of her tea. She was much calmer now than she was when Vegeta and Nappa invaded, and The Cell Games. It was honestly starting to freak out Pan… though it was good to keep calm.

Pan looked back at her mother, "to see Videl and Takara of course." It was a swift and fluid lie and the elder woman knew it. The eighteen year old mother-to-be closed the door and smiled, taking flight.

Bulma put her cup of coffee down and looked over at her longtime friend curiously. Chichi only looked over, "after thirty years, three children, and a husband who's been dead a total of eight and a half years, I've learned to pick my battles."

'Even at the cost of Pan and her daughter?'

The cave was no longer warm, but scorching Toshiro noticed. "Good Kami," he huffed, "can this place get any hotter?"

"Quit complaining 'Shiro. This is nothing." Mai whispered.
"Glad a certain someone convinced Pan not to come with us." Bra sighed, wiping sweat off her

face with a white handkerchief. For the most part, the family was wearing traditional Sayian armor… tight yet breathable. 'Although my chest plate is starting to dig into my ribs.'

"Bullshit." Gotten told her through their mental link.

"Pan is Kami knows how many months pregnant, why put her and the baby in danger?" Trunks said, returning to the original conversation.

"Wait," Mai asked confused, cocking her eyebrow, "you don't even know how far along with your daughter she is? What an asshat move dad."

He only huffed in annoyance.. BURN!

They all walked for what seemed like hours across dry, compacted soil until they reached an entrance of some sort. The entrance was so dimly lit that one may think the cave wall had long since ceased.

"So gramps, are we using Plan T?" Toshiro asked looking at Vegeta. Vegeta looked over at Goku, knowing he was a hell of a lot smarter than these teenagers.

Goku looked over at the blue eyed boy. "Just what is Plan T?" The Sayian's question was greeted by a twisted smirk. 'Oh boy.'

"Take 'em by storm."

A certain Namekian scowled, escaping his meditative trance. "Those idiots better not get themselves killed."

Dende sat back and chuckled, 'and this is another reason I don't go with you guys.'

Suddenly the dirt opened up, the middle showing two tons of reinforced steel. Mai took a step forward, not afraid of the impending madness. Gohan tried to grab her arm in protest, but she shrugged him away. She grabbed a capsule from the inside of her boot and opened it, not even missing a beat. A collective gasp emanated from the three eldest Sayians and the young time traveller. A frightening wave of familiarity washed over Trunks as the swords strap was clipped to the young woman's back.

"Mai, you can't. That's –" Her brother was cut off by the singing metal as the sword was unsheathed.

"Are you coming or not?"

XxXxXx

"She is definitely something, huh Vegeta?" Bulma smiled through their bond. The bluenette sat at her computer in a trance as her mate filled her mind with the scene. He only gave is ever so normal "Hmph." Though she knew better.

"Sometimes I can't tell which parts of her are Mirai and which are Pandora." Chichi told her husband. It was very rare for Chi to use Pan's Kami-given name, but it just felt right.

"It's good to see the raised those kids right." He told her smiling.

"Goku look out! Your left!" She screamed. She continued to see through his eyes as a shadow loomed in the dim hall. Soon it zipped out, but it didn't go for Goku. Whoever it was went straight for...

Trunks.

His reflexes were lightning as he tripped the shadowed figure. It threw what looked like darts at Trunks, but he was able to dodge and break its arm. Mai whistled his attention as she threw his sword back to him.

"On guard!" She yelled. Soon there were more shadowed figures, and they were faster. Engaged in combat, Gohan found a side hall much smaller than he he himself. 'So that's where these bastards are coming from.' He grinned as he kicked one coming toward him, uncapsuled gasoline and torched the hall, creating chaos as the darkness was expelled.

By everything paused when they heard a shot. And it came from the other side of that steel door.

Toshiro and Bra were very close to the door and paused before anyone. His eyes got wide as a wave of fear enveloped him. His elder sister's eyes became wide as their eyes locked. 'It couldn't be... Could it?'

"Son of a - who the hell has my M-92 special!?" She growled. The look in her eyes murderous as she made her way to that door. The person on the other side of that door just made a very grave mistake.

xXxXxXx

"I'm getting a little antsy right about now." Chichi mumbled. Again, Bluma quirked her eyebrow to her old friend. "Goku shut me out a-"

"For your own sanity." Bulma cut in.

"And~" Chichi continued, "we haven't heard from Pan." She sighed, sitting on the couch.

The clank of a tea cup could be heard across the fairly large room.

"She'll be okay." 'I hope.'

xXxXxXx

An onyx haired woman made her way through the underground tunnels in search of the semi-large party that left a while before. It seemed much cooler than the surface. The air was brisk and cool, smelling as if it had just stopped raining. There were small puddles of water that reflected her flashlight back at her.

Within her person, she held a device of treachery, and the future. No poison or being could get in her way.

As she continued to walk the teen began to hear footsteps, and soon voices. Finding a wall at the corner, she hid behind and ease dropped.

"They say it'll be all said and done in a couple of hours." One worker spoke in an alien language.

'Duly noted.' She thought.

"Maybe by the time it starts, we may be able to escape. I have not seen my son for many years." Another said sadly. Her voice both sweet, yet very cruel. They were prisoners in a one-sided war with humanity.

Waves of emotions washed ever the young woman as she heard the conversation. Or maybe that was her hormones talking. Going around the corner and down the tunnel only a little further, she found a cold gray cement stairwell up. It reminded her of a dungeon-like setting as lights guided her up to a steel door.

She put her ear to it and listened with her keen hearing. Two or three people; nothing she couldn't handle before. Resting her hand on her stomach she quickly deciphered the code on how to enter.

The door opened to a highly sophisticated laboratory, she looked around and was immediately impressed. The three scientists were surprised to say the least. And she was also surprised to find none of them were human. They rushed towards her and the only thing she could do was reach into her bag.

Pop! And soon two more rang.

Voices were heard on the other side of one of the five doors leading out. "... my M-92 special?!" As the large door began to open to one murderous Sayianess, the one holding the shiny weapon bagan to tremble in fear.

"Panna." Trunks said, his eye catching hers. He'd never seen her tremble at the sight of blood, or even a fight

As her mate held her tight she was berated by the rest of the group. "Are you alright?" "Why aren't you at home?" "Are you out of your fucking mind!?" (The last question coming from Gohan.)

'Momma, must you be so reckless?' Her future children wondered as Mai held out her hand. Pan gladly handed it back to its rightful owner, then her eyes fell onto Trunks again.

She only pointed as he rubbed the back of his neck. "I'll explain later."

Vegeta asked ever so like him, "where is this plane we need?"

The ceiling began to shake suddenly. Bits of dust and dirt fell as the computers screamed alarms. Then an automated voice:

"One hundred minuets to stage one deterioration."

How'd I do? Please review for me, I wanna know how its going, what seems to be missing.. and, yeah. Im glad to be back!
