A/N: Woop woop! I was going to wait a week before posting this but I just couldn't do it XD

I can happily say that I've got three chapters after this written already. It will probably be around four more chapters after this one. So I hope you're ready because this story is on the move again!

Oh, and I apologize if Paul comes off as slightly OOC, I tried my best but since December isn't a typical teenager I feel like he'd try to shape up a little bit at least. Be a little bit more grown up and mature. Tell me if it's horrible. xD

It was getting close to the full moon when two wolves entered the house. I had no idea which two it was, though. I had never been introduced to their wolf formes.

"This is Jared and Seth," Edward said and gestured to the brown and then to the sand colored wolf. "The rest of them are also in wolf form outside but only two fit in the basement with all of us," he explained.

So in other words the whole pack would see me since they could read each others mind. Handy system, bad for me though. Since I felt so exposed.

"Well, the moon is about to reach its apex so we should get down there," I said and started making my way there.

"They wonder how you know," Edward said bored.

"I can feel it," I explained with a look to the both wolves in the house. "Now don't leave too many muddy paw prints, okay?" I said and winked.

I entered the basement first and the Cullen family followed me in after them came Jared and Seth.

I undressed as much as I could without getting naked. I didn't want to wreck all my clothes so I kept my underwear on.

"Prepare, this isn't going to be easy nor fun," Carlisle warned them.

Like so many times I felt the monster slowly creeping up on me, normally my instincts told me to fight but this time I decided to just let go, hoping that it would be less painful and quicker.

Seth P.O.V.

I was standing next to Jared in the Cullens basement, looking at Decembers scarred body. I heard her breathing growing heavier, her body and face tensed as if in pain. She probably was, Carlisle had warned us so it wasn't going to be a pleasant experience.

She let out a scream and I watched as her arm broke.

I whined.

"Poor girl," Embry though as he saw what was happening in our minds.

The way she turned seemed to be much slower and painful. With us it was pretty my over in 30 seconds tops. At least when you'd done it a couple of times. But not for her.

Her legs started re-arranging. Bones broke, moved, disappeared and grew out. She fell onto all four and cried in pain.

"When you think about it we're pretty lucky after all," Leah said, probably a little ashamed. She always hated the shift, these genes. But this was probably good for her, realizing that people have it worse.

She growled at my thoughts.

"Concentrate, Seth! You're there to keep her from escaping, not to debate about life," Sam ordered.

I went back to watching December.

Her spine broke and next her neck. Teeth turned into fangs and her jaw broke. It was anything but a pretty sight. The sweet and fun girl that we'd come to know was now turning into a monster. This was the beast that rested within her every minute of every day. Except for the full moons, it did not rest now.

It was savage, it was brutal. She may not have completed the transformation but it was clear that it was a monster that was crawling its way out.

She screamed as some more bones broke and fur black as midnight exploded from her body. Her ears looked somewhat similar to my own right now. She expanded until she was even larger than me, larger than even Sam. She was twice the size of all the vampires.

The monster had escaped. And it growled. Loud. It felt like my eardrums was going to explode.

It looked at us with an expression of never ending hunger.

"How is that even the same person?" I thought in slight panic. I didn't know if I could handle this.

"Remember that it is a girl in there, you can't hurt her too bad. That's why it takes so many of us. If we would just kill her, we could be one or two but we just need to detain her," the blonde male, Jasper, said.

Jared growled.

"We know," he thought.

The monster charged at Jasper, going for the kill. He evaded the attack and Emmett grabbed her from behind.

She let out an angry growl and shook him off, making him go flying across the room. Esme caught him before he made contact with the wall. The truth is the wall would probably have broken.

Jared barked at her and she looked at him.

She put down her long arms to the ground. Making her stand her all four, her claws scratched the gray concrete floor below her as she prepared to charge.

"That thing is scary," Quil stated in his mind.

"Yeah," Paul said sadly. He felt bad for her. He phazed so often and it was no big deal for him but for her, she hates every second of it. She loses control and fights so hard trying to escape this. She would probably kill for the ability to be able to stop it.

She charged against Jared and just at the right time I bit her in the leg, not too hard but enough for her to turn.

She lift one of her massive arms and flung me across the room.

"Seth!" Leah screamed in my mind.

"I'm fine," I thought quickly.

She was so fast, it was insane.

December P.O.V

I woke up once again, naked on the concrete floor. I put on the clothes that either Esme or Rosalie and put down for me. I looked at the wounds I had gotten during the night. I had one on my thigh that had almost healed.

I exited the room that by the way made me feel slightly claustrophobic. I slowly walked up the stairs, it was best not to strain my sore body.

Once I got upstairs I saw everyone was standing outside, I walked out and they all looked at me. I felt it as their eyes travelled up and down to see how I looked. How bad I was this time.

"How are you feeling?" Rosalie asked and stroked my back slightly.

"I'm alive," I said weakly.

"Of course you are, you were with us remember?" Emmett said and laughed.

"So what were you talking about before I came up?" I asked them and looked around.

They shifted uncomfortably.

"What?" I asked, suspiciously.

"That army we talked about... They're coming here. Alice saw it," Edward said.

I gasped.

What was I suppose to do? How could I get out of this?

"We just talked about it and we're going to help these leeches fight," Paul said and looked at me.

"When are they coming?"

"In a week," Alice answered me.

The week went fast and it was only a couple days before the newborns would arrive. I still had no idea what I was going to do so I hoped into my car and drove down to La Push. Maybe they could make me swing one way or the other.

I drove past the border of the treaty and headed for Emily's house.

"Hello?" I asked as I got there.

I saw a head pop out from the door, it was Emily and she got a bright smile as she saw me.

"Hi! Welcome in," Emily said and smiled. She truly was a kind and happy one. "… so what are you doing here?" she asked as I walked in.

"I was hoping for some guidance," I said and chuckled.

"Oh? What about?" Emily asked surprised.

"Well, you know my past... And I assume you know what's going on?" I said hesitantly. I didn't want to say something I shouldn't.

"I do."

"So, should I stay or should I leave? Stay with those I care about but risk death or leave and abandon them?"

It was no easy dilemma.

"I don't know. It's a difficult choice you have ahead of you."

"Indeed, and I have no idea what to do..." The minute I said that all the boys ran in through the door.

"Oh, December is here!" Seth said happily.

"Hey guys," I said and smiled weakly.

"Hey, could we take a walk?" Paul asked me.

I nodded and he began leading the way. I walked beside him in silence as we reached further and further away from the house.

"I've got something I need to tell you," he said and looked at me. "Do you know what imprinting is?"

"Yes, I know that's something shapeshifters do," I told him honestly. Things didn't work quite like that for my kind though.

We were more animalistic. If a male moon child and a female one met during a full moon they were sure to try and breed. Oh, and possibly try and kill each other in the process.

"Well, I imprinted on you," he said slowly. Probably nervous about the response.

"Oh... That was unexpected," I said shocked.

"Yeah, I know that," he snapped and studied me.

"I'm going to go ahead and be honest. I'm not the kind of girl that can stay in La Push all my li-" I began.

"I know that too bu-," he interrupted.

"Would you let me finish?" I smiled. He nodded impatiently. "As I was saying. I'm not the kind of girl who can stay in La Push all my life, I have to move around for my own safety. However, imprinting is something undeniably beautiful, it's not something I would ever just dismiss," I continued.

He looked at me slightly confused.

"So if you are willing... When the time comes... Would you want to come with me? You don't have to of course..." I asked, nervous. Really nervous, this boy thing was all new to me. In all my years on this earth I had never dated or been in a serious relationship. This was intense. Undeniably so.

"December, the only thing I want is to be with you. So if that means following you around the world, that is what I'll do," he said and smiled.

I smiled back at him and I could feel the tears coming. Had I finally found someone to spend my years with? I didn't have to be alone anymore?

"There's still one issue, the war with the newborns. Your pack is going to help. I'm still debating whether I should stay or go."

Paul looked at me with worry.

"You should go. At least during this war. You can come back after," he said. "This is dangerous for you if it will bring those king leeches..."

"Is that what you want me to do?" I asked confused. I was so sure he would've asked me to stay. I was kind of disappointed.

"Yeah. You need to go."
