It was lunchtime at the Tokyo Performing Arts Junior High School, and Yurika was sitting at her desk preparing her lunch.
"Ahh lunch is my favorite," Yurika said dreamingly, "well besides for dance." Yurika opened her lunch which consisted of: melonpan, ichigo daifuku, dango and strawberry milk.
"Itadakimasu," Yurika stated while picking up her melonpan. Just as she was about to bite into it, it suddenly vanished.
"Confiscated," a voice said behind her. Yurika turned around to see Bell holding all of her food.
"Ehh Bell that's my food, give it back," Yurika whined while trying to reach for it. However she was unsuccessful as Bell was holding it over her head.
"No," Bell replied as she took a seat across from Yurika.
"Why not?" Yurika whined while looking at her food.
"How do you expect to be a good dancer if you can't even eat properly," Bell stated as she opened her lunch. Her lunch consisted of: rice, tamagoyaki, apple rabbits and water.
"But if I can't eat that what am I suppose to eat?" Yurika asked while looking enviously at Bell, who had already started eating. After she asked Bell suddenly put down her chopsticks and looked at Yurika with a smirk on her face.
"I'm scared..." Yurika thought as she waited for Bell to answer.
"I'm glad you asked," Bell stated while reaching into her bag, "because I have brought you a wonderful gift."
"A gift?! Is it melonpan?!" Yurika asked in excitement only to be silenced by Bell's glare.
"No it is not," Bell sighed.
"Then what is it?" Yurika asked, the anticipation killing her.
"Hmph be grateful. I was gracious enough to pack another lunch just for you," Bell stated while handing Yurika another lunch.
"Ehh really?" Yurika asked in amazement.
"Yes. Why do you not believe me?" Bell asked with a smirk on her face.
"It's just... no one's ever sat with me at lunch... let alone made me a lunch," Yurika replied while looking down at her lap. Bell's eyes widened for a second, then she regained her composure.
"Well get used to it. We're partners after all," Bell said with a smile and a wink. Yurika's face lite up like a kid waking up on Christmas morning.
"Yeah, partners!" Yurika replied with the smile still plastered on her face. After that Bell's face grew more serious.
"On that note, I need to have a discussion with you and the dog," Bell stated while continuing with her lunch.
"A discussion?" Yurika asked while tilting her head.
"Yes a discussion. Let's meet after school at my house. Is that ok with you?" Bell asked while looking at Yurika.
"Yeah!" Yurika replied with a giant smile.

"Wow! Bell this is your house?!" Yurika asked in amazement as she looked at the giant mansion in from of her. It had at least 3 stories and it was a dark brown color.
"Yes it is," Bell replied, "would you like to go inside?"
"Ehh what if I break something though?" Yurika asked seriously.
"Is she serious," Bell thought while her face twitched.
"Then I guess you'll have to pay for it," Bell said before walking through the gates. Yurika quickly followed behind her, because she was afraid that she would get lost if she didn't. As they entered the house, Yurika noticed all the grand paintings on the walls and the expensive looking furniture places throughout.
"Shall we go to my room?" Bell asked, not even waiting for an answer as she proceeded to walk up the stairs.
"Uhh sure," Yurika replied while quickly following up the stairs. They made it up to the third floor when Bell stopped in front of a door. She opened it and went in followed by Yurika. Yurika stood in amazement as she looked around the room. Trophies lined two of the walls, while one of them had a poster of a dancer on it. The room also had a balcony on one side of the wall, overlooking the backyard that consisted of a marvelous garden. There was a desk in the corner of one of the trophy walls, along with three bookshelves filled with books. The bed was under the poster and had a beautiful red see through canopy that matched the pillows and comforter.
"Shall we sit down?" Bell asked while taking a seat on a coach facing the balcony doors. Yurika did not reply but instead sat down next to Bell on the coach.
"Did you bring the dog?" Bell asked. Before Yurika could reply, Sparkle jumped out of her bag.
"Sparkle is not a dog!" The fairy replied angrily before sitting on Yurika's lap.
"Then shall we begin?" Bell asked well glancing at Yurika and Sparkle.
"First off, why did we transform and have to fight that monster?" Bell asked while looking outside the balcony.
"The Pretty Cure are the legendary warriors who fight for the sake of everyone's dreams," Yurika replied while watching Bell.
"And why is it that they fight for dreams?" Bell asked, still looking out the window.
"Because Baku and his henchman are trying to takeover the Land of Dream!" Sparkle exclaimed while moving her arms around frantically.
"Baku?" Yurika wondered out load. After she said that Bell snapped her head towards Yurika.
"You've been fighting and you don't even know what for?!" Bell questioned while looking at Yurika disappointingly. Yurika did not respond but instead looked down at her lap.
"Baku is an evil man who wants to take everyone's dreams and turn them into nightmares," Sparkle replied, trying to ease the tension in the room.
"Nightmares?" Bell skeptically asked.
"Hai. For example if you dream of being a chef, the nightmare of that would be that you are overcome by fear of just the thought of preparing a meal," Sparkle stated while looking at Yurika. Yurika still had her head down.
"So if I want to be a dancer, I will come to hate dancing," Yurika asked while sniffling. She wanted to cry but didn't because she hated crying in front of people.
"That won't happen," Bell stated. Yurika's head suddenly shot up. Bell was looking at her with a warm smile before handing Yurika her handkerchief. Yurika took it and began to wipe around her eyes.
"That being said," Bell began, "how do we stop this Baku?"
"We have to defeat the Ugokana and collect pieces of the Dream Tiara," Sparkle replied happily since the tension had gonna away.
"Dream Tiara?" Yurika asked while looking at Sparkle.
"Yes! The Dream Tiara is the tiara worn by The Dream Guardian. The tiara has the power to make dreams come true, or turn them into nightmares. When Baku first attacked, The Dream Guardian broke the tiara into tiny pieces and sent them to this world. That way Baku wouldn't be able to turn people's dreams into nightmares," Sparkle shared to Bell and Yurika.
"Then where are the pieces?" Bell questioned, Yurika nodding her head asking Sparkle to answer.
"The pieces appear after an Ugokana is defeated," Sparkle replied as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Then what happened to the pieces after those two Ugokana were beat?" Yurika asked extremely confused.
"After your battles, you two were both too distracted to notice them so I collected them. The pieces are stored right here," Sparkle said while pointing to the collar she was wearing. It was a circle surround with jewels, and in the middle were the letters "L.D."
"So how many Ugokana do we have to defeat before we have all the tiara pieces?" Yurika asked.
"Hmmm... I don't know," Sparkle replied, seemingly not caring.
"Seriously," both Yurika and Bell thought at the same time.
Suddenly the ground started shaking.
"An earthquake!?" Bell exclaimed.
"No," Sparkle replied, " it's one of Baku's henchman."
"Bell," Yurika said. Bell nodded, understanding exactly what Yurika was going to say. They both got up and ran out the door.

The two girls ran to a park nearby Bell's house.
"Is this where it is coming from?" Yurika asked Sparkle, who was sitting on her head.
"Yes," Sparkle replied while looking around.
"So you made it," an all to familiar voice stated. Suddenly the woman with black hair that her thigh and a long black dress appeared before them. Along with her was a baseball shaped Ugokana.
"Osoroshiiyume," Bell said while glaring at the woman.
"Ahh what a scary look," Osoroshiiyume replied, pretending to be scared. "UGOKANA GET THEM!" She screamed.
"Bell ikuso!" Yurika stated while they both put their hands with the bracelet in front of their chest.
"Pretty Cure On Stage!" Yurika and Bell shouted at the same time. Lights of pink and blue began to surround the two girls. A pink long sleeved shirt with the letters P.C. surrounded by a circle appeared on Yurika while a blue one was placed onto Bell. A flapper skirt that was longer on the right and shorter on the left appeared on Bell, while a pink tutu appeared on Yurika. Ballet slippers that laced up to her knees were placed on Yurika, while tap shoes appeared on Bell. Pink heart shaped earring appeared on Yurika and blue four-pointed stars appeared on Bell. Yurika's hair changed from blonde to pink and her pigtails became much longer. Bell's hair changed from red to blue and was pulled into a side ponytail tied up on the left side of her head, while a little top hat was placed on the right. As they finished they both looked up.
"The gentle wind dashing throughout the heavens, Cure Ballet!"
"The pounding beat of everyone's heart, Cure Tap!"
"The light shining on everyone's dreams, Dance! Precure!" They both stated while going into a pose. Ballet had made a peace sign over one of her eyes, closing said eye. She also had placed a hand on her hip. Tap placed her hand on her hip as well, and flipped her hair with her other hand.
"UGOKANA!" The Ugokana shouted while charging at the two. Ballet and Tap both jumped to dodge the attack. Tap went for the first move and landed a punch on the Ugokana causing it to fly backwards. The Ugokana then stood up and seemingly disappeared, but it appeared in front of Tap and Ballet. It moved too fast for them to dodge and they got sent flying backwards. The two of them stood back up only to be hit by the Ugokana again.
"What's going on?" Ballet asked while panting.
"Ballet I think I know what's happening," Tap replied, not taking her eyes off the Ugokana.
"Nani?" Ballet questioned while looking at Tap.
"The Ugokana is a baseball right? And is moving at an extremely fast pace. Put those together and what do you have?" Tap stated.
"A Fast Pitch!" Ballet exclaimed happily since she solved the riddle.
"That's right," Tap said while smiling.
"But how do we stop it?" Ballet asked while focusing on the Ugokana.
"The pitch only goes one way right? So when the pitch comes one of us will have to attack from behind," Tap explained to Ballet, who was nodding her head in agreement.
"Hey you two stop taking! Ugokana get them!" Osoroshiiyume frustratedly shouted.
"Tap you attack I'll stay here," Ballet said while preparing for the Ugokana's attack.
"Wakatta," Tap replied. The Ugokana disappeared again, and during this time Tap jumped into the air. When the Ugokana appeared in front of Ballet, Tap landed a punch right on the top of the Ugokana. The Ugokana seemed to be in a daze after being punched.
"Ballet now!" Tap shouted towards Ballet. Ballet agreed and put her bracelet in front of her chest.
"Pretty Cure Firebird Leap!" Ballet shouted while performing a firebird leap. Her body started to glow and a bird made of fire shot towards the Ugokana. After the Ugokana was hit by this attack it disappeared.
"Tch," Osoroshiiyume said before disappearing.
"We did it Tap!" Ballet exclaimed while walking over to Cure Tap. As Ballet reached Tap she noticed something shiny on the ground. Ballet bent down to pick it up and brought it back up so both of them could look at it.
"It's beautiful," Tap whispered in awe.
"That's part of the Dream Tiara," Sparkle stated while approaching the two.
"Ahh so that's what it is," Ballet exclaimed happily.
"Yes so please give it to me for safe keeping in my collar," Sparkle replied while holding her paw out to Ballet. Ballet placed the small gem in Sparkle's paw and watched as Sparkle extended her paw. The gem was placed right in front of Sparkle's collar, when the collar started to glow as well as the gem. The gem was absorbed into the collar and after that the collar stopped glowing.
When this was finished the two girls returned to their civilian looks, and proceeded back to Bell's house with Sparkle on Yurika's head.
"Yurika it's getting late, would you like to stay for dinner?" Bell asked while looking at Yurika.
"Is there going to be melonpan?" Yurika questioned but immediately regretted it after seeing Bell glare at her.
"I was joking," Yurika said, "but yes I would love to stay for dinner."
"Great because I can't trust you to eat properly," Bell replied as the two girls continued on their way.
