It was the start of a brand new week at Tokyo Performing Arts Junior High School, and Yurika was already late to school.

"Ahhh I'm late! Sparkle why didn't you wake me up earlier?" Yurika shouted as she ran towards school with Sparkle in her bag.

"I tried! Every time I'd wake you up you'd kick me out of your room!" Sparkle replied with sass.

"Ehehehe Gomen," Yurika apologized. As she was running a limousine drove past her.

"Ahh a limousine. Hey Sparkle maybe a celebrity is in there!" Yurika states with excitement as she looked down at Sparkle. When she looked back up Yurika noticed that the limousine had stopped and one of the doors was opened. Curious, Yurika approached the opened door.

"Ehh Bell this is your car?!" Yurika questioned, she was so shocked that she just stood there staring at Bell.

"Yes now if you don't want to be late I suggest getting in the car," Bell stated sounding uninterested in the whole interaction.

"Ahh arigatou," Yurika thanked while getting in the car.

As Yurika and Bell stepped out of Bell's car all the students entering the building stared at them.

"Ehh why are the staring?" Yurika whispered to Bell while looking around nervously. Bell noticing Yurika's behavior sighed.

"It's because you're the first person I've been seen socializing with," Bell replied, ignoring all the glances of her classmates.

"Demo Bell you're so popular so wouldn't you have a ton of friends?" Yurika questioned, confused as to why Bell wouldn't want to be friends with all the kids at school.

"They only want to be my friend so that they can meet my mom. But you're different, you want to be my friend for me. Yurika that's why I consider you a friend of mine," Bell said while smiling at Yurika.

"Friend?" Yurika asked. It was the first time since she came to this school that someone actually called her a friend.

"Well we are friends right?" Bell questioned with a slight smirk on her face. She stopped at her shoe locker as she waited for Yurika's reply.

"Hai. Of course we our friends!" Yurika exclaimed with a smile spreading across her face.

It was the last class of the day, and Yurika and Bell were warming up for dance practice.

"Minna-San I have an announcement to make!" Itou-Sensei shouted, gaining the class' attention. Yurika and Bell glanced at each other quickly before focusing back on Itou-Sensei.

"It is that time of year again, the annual Dream Dance Competition is starting. The competition this month calls for two dancers, one will compete in ballet and the other in tap. If you are interested please let me know after class. Now everyone find a spot on the ballet bar and do twenty pliés," Itou-Sensei said while the girls rushed to the bars. Yurika arrived at the bar and noticed that Bell was right behind her.

"Yurika are you thinking what I am thinking?" Bell asked with a slight smirk on her face. Yurika glanced over at Bell while doing her pliés.

"You also want ichigo daifuku for dessert too?" Yurika replied with a confused look on her face. Bell instantly shot a glare towards Yurika, and Yurika jumped in fright.

"No, what did I say about your eating habits Yurika? Anyways what I was thinking is that we should enter the completion together," Bell said while finished her pliés and moving into first position.

"Ahh that sounds fun I've never been in a competition before!" Yurika replied gleefully, also moving into first position.

"Then it's settled, you and I will enter this years Dream Dance Competition. We will also be the winners," Bell stated while smiling at Yurika.

"Hai!" Yurika said, happy that she would finally be able to perform in a competition.

School is finished and Bell and Yurika just finished talking to Itou-Sensei. The two were walking out of school when Yurika had a brilliant idea.

"Bell are you busy right now?" Yurika asked, trying to hold in her excitement.

"No. Why?" Bell asked while glancing nervously over at Yurika.

"Let's go somewhere fun," Yurika stated while grabbing Bell's hand and pulling her along.

"Y-yurika where are we going?" Bell questioned while being pulled.

"Hehe it's a secret," Yurika replied while sticking out her tongue at Bell. Bell sighed but allowed Yurika to pull her along.

The girls finally stopped when they arrived outside a small café called Yuriko's Buffet.

"What are we doing here, Yurika?" Bell asked, confused as to why they were at a café.

"Umm well I thought it would be fun to celebrate us forming a team, you know for the Dream Dance Competition. Ahh sorry it's probably a bad idea, I shouldn't of dragged you here. You can go home if you want," Yurika mumbled before walking away. But she was stopped when someone grabbed her hand. Yurika turned around to see it was Bell who grabbed her hand.

"Don't go. We came all the way here so why not celebrate," Bell stated with a small smile on her face. A smile spread on Yurika's face before pulling Bell inside.

The girls sat down at a table, looking over the menu. All of a sudden Sparkle popped out of Yurika's bag.

"Ahhh you two are so mean! How could you forget about me?" Sparkle questioned angrily while glaring at the two girls.

"Ahh gomen Sparkle," Yurika apologized.

"Wouldn't it be more problematic if people noticed a talking dog?" Bell asked before taking a sip of her tea.

Sparkle froze, realizing that Bell was right.

"Sparkle's not a dog!" Sparkle exclaimed before she stopped talking, hoping that no one would notice her.

All of a sudden people outside the shop started screaming.

"What's that?" Bell asked while looking at the door. She then turned back to Yurika who had a serious look on her face.

"Bell let's go," Yurika said while standing up. Bell nodded before following Yurika out the door.

The two girls got outside and looked around to see where the people's screams were coming from.

They rounded a corner before stopping in their tracks. In front of them there was a giant lamppost with a face on it.

"An Ugokuna!" Sparkle exclaimed. Yurika and Bell looked at each other and nodded.

"Pretty Cure On Stage!" Yurika and Bell shouted at the same time. Lights of pink and blue began to surround the two girls. A pink long sleeved shirt with the letters P.C. surrounded by a circle appeared on Yurika while a blue one was placed onto Bell. A flapper skirt that was longer on the right and shorter on the left appeared on Bell, while a pink tutu appeared on Yurika. Ballet slippers that laced up to her knees were placed on Yurika, while tap shoes appeared on Bell. Pink heart shaped earring appeared on Yurika and blue four-pointed stars appeared on Bell. Yurika's hair changed from blonde to pink and her pigtails became much longer. Bell's hair changed from red to blue and was pulled into a side ponytail tied up on the left side of her head, while a little top hat was placed on the right. As they finished they both looked up.

"The gentle wind dashing throughout the heavens, Cure Ballet!"

"The pounding beat of everyone's heart, Cure Tap!"

"The light shining on everyone's dreams, Dance! Precure!" They both stated while going into a pose. Ballet had made a peace sign over one of her eyes, closing said eye. She also had placed a hand on her hip. Tap placed her hand on her hip as well, and flipped her hair with her other hand.

"There you are, Precure," a voice stated. All of a sudden a man appeared next to the Ugokana. He had jet black hair that covered his left eye and was wearing a black suit.

"I am a loyal servant of Baku and member of the Fallen Dream Army, Iyanayume," the mysterious man stated.

"No one asked who you were though," Tap replied while looking at the man with a look of complete boredom. Iyanayume flinched realizing that he was right.

"Silence! Ugokana get them!" Iyanayume shouted.

"UGOKANA!" The lamppost Ugokana shouted before charging at the two girls. Both girls jumped up, avoiding the Ugokana's attack. The two cures flipped and simultaneously kicked the Ugokana, sending it flying backwards.

"Tap! Finish it!" Cure Ballet shouted towards her partner. Cure Tap nodded before facing the Ugokana.

The Ugokana started to get up, while Tap's bracelet began to glow. Tap raised her bracelet in front of her body.

"Pretty Cure Buffalo Blast!" Tap performed a Buffalo and when she did water suddenly appeared in front of her and shot towards the Ugokuna. After the Ugokuna got hit it disappeared.

"Tch damn you Precure," Iyanayume said before disappearing.

Tap caught the piece of the Dream Tiara that appeared after defeating the Ugokana. She gave it to Sparkle, who had it transferred to her collar.

"Ballet," Tap called her partner. Ballet looked at her partner to notice a smile on her face.

"Let's postpone the celebration of forming our team for the Dream Dance Competition. I want to celebrate with you," Tap said, hoping that Ballet would agree.

"Of course!" Ballet replied with a smile on her face, causing Tap to smile too.
