Back to the story-

Months past, the days went normal for Usui Takumi but every single day goes very hectic for Misaki. Coming late from work is a daily routine for her. The problem is that she even refuses Usui's offer to pick her up. Working extra two hours every day she made through her very secret event.

While Usui's mind filled with so much questions. 'How suddenly her working hour rose up?' And he was too afraid to call her friends. It would lead to the word 'Trust' in their relationship. So he let it go thoroughly.

On a very regular day:-

Misaki finished her work rather quickly that day. It was only 3:30 in the evening. As she has more time, she leaved from her work after the official permission and straight went to her destination. Yes, a place captured her attention a few weeks ago. It was an Indian shop; where she likes to spend her two valuable hours.

Time flew quickly. She looked at her wrist watch and smiled to herself thinking about her plan. Well her intension is simple but her process to achieve the simple thing is too difficult. Zooming to their house she finally arrived at the door. A sudden feeling of nostalgia came through her vessel. Usui's facial expression shows so many hidden questions to her. She isn't that tough that she can't even acknowledge her husband's feelings. But for now she has to keep the tough wife as well as a hard working lady.

She pressed the bell. After few moments the door opened.

"Welcome home!" Usui replied smiling.

"Hay!" Misaki smiled back. She could clearly see the hidden emotion behind his smile. Misaki quickly entered the room and went to the kitchen to get some water.

Usui leaned on the door frame of the kitchen, hand crossed in front. "Don't you think you need some rest?" He asked hesitating.

Misaki gulped half of the bottle of water and turned to look at him. "No. It's not that tiring." Misaki told but deep down she knew Usui was right.

He came near her and observed her face. He brushed the sweat drop at her forehead with his hand. "Don't over work yourself. I don't want to see you like this." He said slowly rubbing the back of her palm.

"Hmm? Don't be silly you idiot!" She playfully punched his chest. "I'm starving."

"Sure! What do you want for dinner sweetie?" Usui asked cutely.

"Idle and sambar." Misaki replied nonchalantly.

"What!?" Usui couldn't get what she said.

"Oh…" She bit her tongue. "Anything is fine." She shrugged and went for some refreshment.

Usui stood there, brows furrowed. "How did she know a South Indian dish?" He thought to himself.

#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#*#

After some tiring days, Misaki is enjoying her last day in the Indian shop, where she found her new fond of visiting that unique place. "It was nice to work with you guys." She thanked the peoples there she was acquainted with.

"No Mrs. Usui, you are quite stubborn lady. You did very well with the training." The lady on her 30's replied smiling.

"Thank you." Misaki bowed.

"Do your best on the special day. Good luck!" The lady patted her back and hugged her. The whole shop celebrated a grand farewell party for Misaki. She took a group photo and waved them good bye for last time.

That day Misaki returned a little early. Usui's presence wasn't there. Soon a sigh of relief came to her mouth not because of his absence but not able to see his troubled face again. It pained her so much. She doesn't want to hide anything from him, doesn't want to lie to him. So at least she can avoid those questions. "Sorry for making you worry." She said to nobody at particular.

Usui wrapped up his meeting with clients and felt a rush of euphorbia go through him. This was what had been the driving force in his life. The thrill and exhilaration that came from pulling contract from competitors' noses. Making a mental note, he picked up his coat and whistled wordlessly to himself as he walked out of the office.

He returned to his home and seeing Misaki was lying in the couch taking a peaceful nap made him happy. "At least she isn't overworking for today." Usui thought to himself. He covered her with a blanket and kissed her forehead. "Sleep well."

The next day:

Usui went to his office dropping Misaki at her working place. He waited for a moment while Misaki already guess what he was trying to imply.

"Can I pick you up-"

"NO!" He abruptly interrupted by her. His face turned in to a dry leaf. Misaki bit the inside of her cheek. "I…might be late today." She replied with a twisted finger hidden behind her back. She averted her eyes from Usui.

"Have a good day." He smiled and went off.

"Just bare one day dear!" Her mind rang painfully. "Taxi!"

"Finally at home." She exhaled deeply and placed the merchandises in the living room. "Let's go with the main course." She hurriedly cleaned all the rooms. Though it was already cleaned but she just wanted it to look perfect.

She rummaged through her bag. "Hmm…I should put more ribbon here. But it would make the other side look less decorative, again what about the middle? Waah…! Why does decoration is out of my knowledge?" Misaki yelled in attempt to get rid of her anxiety.

She took deep breathes and patted her cheeks to start with other arrangements. "Whatever…I can handle this. At least I can do this sort of things." She gave the final touch to her work. After two hours of sweat and stress, she finished the decoration with the curtains, the table, the ceiling and finally the whole room with an ornamental aura around her.

Now it's the time for the hardest part for Misaki. 'Cooking.' Of course she was hesitating but once she determined to do it then who the heck was there to stop her. She put on the apron and worked with the groceries and the vegetables she bought with her.

After one an half an hour she managed to do with the cooking session. Again how can she fortunate with the cooking? So she got a small patch of burn in her hand with a cut finger. Thanks to the knife she managed to cut the veggies with a slight little cut on her forefinger. She is fine with everything as long as she wants him to be happy.

"Now it's time for the miscellaneous." She made her way to the living room and dialed the number she was so eager to contact. After third ring the other line picked up. "Hello! Okay then delivered it straight at 5." She told and cut the line.

She slumped in to the couch and looked at their marriage photo in the coffee table. She picked it up and hugged the photo. "I don't know how it will turn out." Murmuring to herself, she fell asleep.

Finally after what has felt like an eternity, the door bell rang. She got up quickly and rushed to the door. "Okay here is your-…ahh…It's you?" She looked shocked.

"Yeah! Are you expecting someone else?"Usui teased.

"No…Nahh. I…ha ha." Misaki gave him space to come inside.

"You left your shoes outside. So I guessed may be you'll be here." He said loosening his tie. "You said you'll be late today." He simply said.

"Yeah. I finished my work quickly." She replied with a pressurized voice.

Usui noticed her awkward behavior. But he never wants to put a finger with this.

"Go freshen up." Misaki took the coat from him.

Usui arched an eyebrow then looked at the other way. "Okay." He headed to their room when-

"No. Not in that room. You have to use the guest room today." Arms wide apart, Misaki blocked his way.

Usui was abruptly stopped. "What? But why?" He has no idea what's going in her mind.

"I…I've my p…personal things there." Misaki replied with a dry throat.

"Misa...?" Usui tried to ask but shrugged the idea. He went to the other room tiredly.

"I'll leave your spare in that room." Misaki called out from behind.

"Whatever…" He slowly replied much to himself.

The bell rang again. Misaki ran with a light speed preventing it to be ring another time. She opened the door and encountered with the delivery boy. "Here keep the change." She took the thing and closed the door. "Thank God Usui is in shower." She blew a heavy sigh.

Usui in the other hand was deeply hurt. Misaki's behavior towards him is totally foreign to him. He felt like she's hiding things to him. He ran his fingers to his wet hair. "What did I do that she tried to hide things from me? Did she just find someone else? No…Don't think that way. Misaki isn't like that. But, why its feeling like she has had enough of me that she doesn't even want to spend time with me." Usui's mind was fighting with his own doubt. "I can just hope. Or should I talk to her directly. I think I should wait." He turned off the shower and came out from the bathroom.

Brushing his hair with a towel, he looked at the unfamiliar clothes in front of him. "What's this?" He unpacked the suit and soon ready with the new attire. He has no idea what he was doing.

Misaki was outside waiting for Usui to come. She was at the corner of the living room, hardly noticeable.

He came wearing the suit. "Misaki are we going somewhere?" He asked looking at the living room hoping to see her.

"No." She replied and appeared from the corner. Usui looked up and he nearly fell down. Never in his life, had he got such a heart throbbing attack. Eyes wide he got closer to believe himself. Blinking twice, thrice he looked at the statue in front of him.

Misaki clad in a deep red sharee with matching sleepless blouse. The head portion of the sharee was smoothly and neatly fall backward covering her chest with a thin line. The left side of her porcelain waist was visible. Down the waist, the stack of cloth was done with a ladder pattern. (**I'm suck at describing it. Those who don't know, go to search for it in net. It must help you to understand. **)

Her hair loosely fell on her shoulder. Head hung low; she could feel the constant staring of the green eyes to her. His legs pulled him towards her fish like form. She made sure not to tremble.

"Misa!" He whispered too loud to reach her.

She grabbed the courage to look at him. A deep blush covered her face. "Ta…Takumi." She said shuttering.

"You…You are looking like a Goddess." He pulled her to him. "A dream?" He pinched her.

"Aww… You idiot!" She playfully slapped his cheek. "Follow me."

She practically dragged him to their room. It was pitch dark inside. As soon as her hand slackened, she gave life to the light making the room bright back to normal. Usui stood there mesmerized. Their room decorated with creamy pink and white curtains, with matching transparent balloons. Small twinkling stars were dangling from the ceiling. In the middle, there stood a flower covered table with a two stare cake. The room was filled with sweet lavender aroma.

While Usui was lost in the dreamy land, Misaki secretly came behind him. "Happy B'day honey!"

The silky sound brought him back to reality. He turned with a flash and admired her smiling face. "Y…You remembered?" He asked eyes wide.

"How can I forget such an important day?" She replied as a matter of fact.

Usui flashed a biggest smile and hugged her to a death grip. "Thank you Misaki. I love you."

"I know." She hugged him back. "Do you like it?"

"Are you kidding? I love it so much. When did you manage to do all this arrangements?" He asked looking around the room. "And how did you manage to wear this sharee?"

"I went through a month of training with the Indian tradition." She replied smiling.

"Don't tell me, that's why you came lately? You did this only for me?" He asked quickly.

"Hmm. I wanted to give you something different."

He pulled her form and pressed his lips to her red one. Their emotion, the passion, the love of this past month collided together and they both lost in each other's arms. The kiss lasted for few minutes and they pulled apart. Misaki's face turned cherry red.

"Sorry for making you worry. It was too painful to look at your hurtful eyes. Couldn't you just co-operate you idiot?" She asked looking at other direction.

"It's an apology or complains?" He teased.

"Hurry! Let's cut the cake. Though it's a little late but-"

"It's worth a good thing." He said.

Usui cut the cake and fed her a big slice of it. They shared that one piece. "You ordered the cake don't you?" He asked.

"So what?" She pouted.

"That's good." He hugged her. "You never failed to amaze me."

"I've something else for you." She said with a little hesitation.

"What?" He got just enough with that.

"She opened the freshly cooked food beside the table. Usui looked at the so called 'Dosa, Idle Sambar, Peas Pulao rice and home-made curry sauce.' He looked at the dishes and then at Misaki. "You made all this Indian dishes?" He asked with a horror.

"Of course." She eyed him dangerously.

"You-"He took the spoon when he stopped with a hand.

"Sit down." She ordered while Usui followed. She picked up the spoon full of Peas Pulao rice and brought to his mouth. A blush came to her face. She had no idea what's wrong with her. She was just following her heart.

Usui sat there constantly starring at her. He just afraid that if he would die there with so much pleasure, with so much affection, with so much love.

"Open your mouth." She pocked his face.

He looked at the loving amber eyes. "Wait!"

Misaki stopped with his voice.

"Feed me with your bare hands." He coaxed.

"WHAT!" She practically yelled.

"Yes! You made all this Indian food, so you've to follow the Indian rule too." Usui said smiling.

Misaki swallowed her pride and fed him with her bare hand. He chewed the rice and fully surprised with the heavenly taste.

"How is it?" She asked quickly.

"It tastes like-"He waited and smiled to himself. "Feed me another bite."

Misaki eyed him and gave him another handful of rice. He gulped and pulled her to his lap. "I never get enough of the taste. Every bite tastes even batter." He said in her ear.

Misaki smiled and sighed with relief.

"Now it's my turn." He said and picked a hand full of rice.

"I…I can eat-"

"Say aaa…" He shoved the food in her mouth. No doubt it tastes good. Soon they finished eating with that awkward position.

His left hand brushed with her left waist. A cold chill ran through her spine. "You're looking gorgeous." She managed to hide her red face in the crook of his neck. "Thank you." She whispered. They spend a very romantic moment with Misaki in Usui's lap. "Let's go to bed." She said tiredly.

"I don't want to sleep tonight." He placed a sweet kiss at her neck.

The hairs behind her ear stood straight. She unconsciously hugged him tight. "I love you Takumi."

He hugged her back. "It's the biggest day of my life." He said squeezing her hands. "But don't overwork yourself."

"I'll not do it again." She replied still in his arm.

Usui nodded and smiled. "Stay with me forever."

"I'll never leave you."

He looked at her burning hand and gave her a painful look.

"I promise I'll never do it again." Misaki reassured him.

"And listen to me every day?" He asked.

She nodded.

"Kiss me as much as I want?"

She nodded unconsciously. But soon recovered what she agreed with and slapped him playfully.

"Let's go to bed. I'm tired."She said yawning.

He soon released her and both of them made to their bed.

Misaki blinked slowly. She felt the sudden dizziness attack her. She placed a hand in the lamp stand to stabilize herself.

Usui made the pillow comfy on the other side. "I'm very lucky. I never-"He looked back at her, eyes wide with horror.

"MISAKI!" He cradled her form in his arms before it collides with the floor.
