Back to the story:-

"I'll be off, is that okay with you mom," Misaki asked Minako for how many times she doesn't know.

"It's for the fifth time you are asking and for the seventh time I am telling, yes." Minako inhaled and replied eyes closed.

"Because he's not easy to handle," She said with a little whisper.

"You said that every time but he's as sweet as Takumi and well behaved like you." Minako replied smiling rubbing the three year's old little blond boy's head.

Misaki eyed the little monster, which body was peeping behind Minako's leg and was popping his tongue out to Misaki for her anger to go tenfold.

"See?" Misaki complained to her mom but Minako was standing as a shield for the little Usui. Defeated Misaki sighed with narrowed eyes and was ready to leave. "Bye mom or I'm going to be late for him." She gave a kiss to her warrior son and off for her office. "-and mom, no chocolates!" She flatly said at their gate before she leaves.

Misaki pov:

The time has flown by in a haze of new faces, work to do, looking after Ichiro and most importantly 'don't miss that stupid alien'. It's been four years since our marriage. Yes, me and that alien of planet pheromone and dare I say, nothing's changed a bit, except me, and it has been a welcome distraction ever since I started to work at my same old office. As for the little monster, he is growing faster than expected. Well it's a good sign for a mother but not very much good for a mother either. Hay I'm not complaining or anything but I wonder how he gets the energy to beat me? Running like a disaster early in the morning and seriously his morning starts at 5. Early 5! The mare three years old little tiger, grins as he drops cheerios off his highchair tray, runs from me, shrieking with glee as he wins his silent war with mommy.

His love and his delight in experimenting the world, his joy in being free of clothing but fully clothed with his granny, his faked cry, his unexpected laugh and capturing my undivided attention are so welcoming that it can fill every single void in my heart. Sometimes my instinct pushed me back to the thought that who might be behind that mischievous behaviors of Ichiro and that proves Satsuki's words of learning from surroundings. But if that's the case the surrounding is only including me now. Yes, the so called of my dear husband is out of city for his damn deal with that what? Oh... I don't even want to remember. But this time it wasn't my fault. I didn't insist him to go nor did he ever ask for my permission to go, as if I backed him off. The first three days, he managed to call but only for a minute or two. But seriously no calls, no messages, no e-mails not even a letter since last three days. Okay screw that 'letter' part as no one interested in letters in recent era. Five days not a big deal but when the five days turn six or seven it may be a big deal. It should be. Is that deal is more important to him than me and his son? And I'm NOT complaining.

I promised myself, not to contact him either. Wait a minute, that's the point. That's why the little one's trying to gain my attention even more these days. He must be feeling alone. He's missing Takumi, he's missing his company to try his newest game to play with his daddy.

End of Misaki pov

Ever since Misaki received that broken dolls, she couldn't bring herself to think further. She doesn't want to give unnecessary important to something as simple as that in to her life. She doesn't have to brace herself to hear anything or to do anything. She just has to move on as smooth as possible.

"Stupid, idiot baka of an outer space alien, I hate you." She inwardly hissed, finally stopped to a halt of her Mercedes-Benz gifted by Takumi in her last birth day. Collecting her bag, shrugged on her jacket she headed to the peaceful place of her life, her office. The word 'peaceful' might be applicable, if her friends weren't welcome her with a grand tease.

The day starts with a little fast for Misaki. Taking a deep breath, she lunched at her seat, silently watching at the screen of her little conversing device for any sign of a familiar name to appear. After five minutes of gazing at the screen, she dejectedly placed back her cell so deep in her purse so she couldn't be disturb by any ringing sound even if she wants to.

At Ayuzawa's:

"Naughty boy, why do you apply tricks on your mom?" Minako asked Ichiro retrieving an ice cream from the refrigerator.

"Granma I like it an miss daddy." Ichiro replied pouting.

"Ohh…don't give that face darling. Here is your ice cream." Minako smiled and started to tickle him.

The Ayuzawa residence filled with laughter when Suzuna joined the two in the kitchen. She brought balloons with her as Ichiro likes to break air tight balloons; the noise makes him laugh loud.

Minutes turned hours, hours turned the day. Misaki was so distracted with the thought of certain someone that her handy work is getting slow. The clock strikes 6:30 but Misaki's fingers still sticking with the keyboard. Satsuki gives her company every time but that day, Misaki had to tell her to go ahead and assured her she'll off in a minute. But did she ever check that one minute is actually one an half an hour?

Finally calling it a day, Misaki turned off her computer and headed for the elevator. Her hand searched for the car key when a light came from her phone. She called back her mom. Minako picked up after the third ring.

"Yes mom," Her voice withered, knowing she would be scolded again for over work.

"Check the missed calls." Came Minako's shrinking voice.

"Sorry but I was working slow today," She made a face to cover up her silly distraction. "How is the little one?"

"As energetic as always."

"Yeah!" Misaki got in to her car and placed her bag in the seat beside her.

"Did Takumi call?" Minako asked knowing why she was too occupied with her work. She knows her daughter very well, if something is bothering Misaki, she will work hard out to keep her mind distracted.

"May be he's busy." Misaki replied keeping her voice stagnant as before.

Minako smiled. "You can sleep over here you know."

"I know mom, that's my house." She put the key in the keyhole and gave the engine to life. "I'm going to pick Ichiro-"

"He's sleeping soundly." Minako said before Misaki can proceed. "And he's kinda missing his daddy." She said with a little low tone.

Misaki sighed. "I kind of figured that out. Let him sleep there for tonight. Bye mom!"

"Eat properly and don't act as a love sick wife. And don't over react over anything." Minako said giggling.

"Yeah. Thanks for the wise advice mom." Misaki replied before she drove away to her home sweet home.

"I hate you." For the tenth time Misaki's voice filled the vacuum of the kitchen. 'I hate you.' She roared again before she took the second bite of instant noodle she prepared an hour ago. Well after wasting a sweet half an hour regarding whether to eat it or drown with hunger. At last filling her stomach was a wise decision. After all her body needs some energy for roaring, screaming, spit her frustration straight at his face that will never forget his 7th generation.

"I," She took the last bite of her noodle "hate," gulped down it with water. "YOU." She said loudly placing the glass a little hard making other utensils jumped a bit. "Hmp!" She groaned inwardly and decided to take a warm bath to chill her boiling head.

.

.

.

"Nothing can be as relaxing as compare to this." Misaki sighed as her body sank deep in the warm hot bath tub. Putting her head above; her mouth made water bubbles. "Didn't he mention it was a five-days-trip?" She asked nobody in particular. Even if he mentioned her before that he would not get much time to call her frequently but that doesn't give him extra two days of free. She rubbed the soap in her body, the same soap she shares with Takumi. "Damn! Him again," She dipped her face in to the water.

After a relaxing one-hour bath, she wrapped the bathrobe around her and went to their bed. Too tired to even change in to comfortable attire, she slump her body deep in the fluffy bed. The bed she usually shared with Takumi. "Stop thinking about him Misaki. You sound like he's been going for years."

It didn't take much time for her already tired yet relaxing body went to a deep slumber making her tears pressed behind the heavy eyelids. And without her knowledge, the door of their house opened with a slight unlocking sound of their door knob.

A pair of legs touched the cold marble floor of their leaving room. Sighing deeply, the blond boy loosed his tie and headed for upstairs knowing his beloved will be waiting for him. As soon as he entered their bed room, he was greeted with the slumbering, half dressed Misaki snoring gently. He got startled at her so welcoming pose. Does she even have an idea? And most importantly she's sleeping with a bathrobe. His bathrobe. A top of that, the light in the room casting on her pale feature is not helping either. She must have forgotten to switch off the light. Well is not it obvious looking at her night dress-up?

"I hate you."

His eyes got its large size. Did he hear something? He zoomed his way to her side, covering her exposed thigh with her his-bathrobe. She stirred in her sleep that makes the little much of cloth covering her shoulder fell to her side exposing the white bra strap she was wearing underneath. He had a hard time to control his hormone.

"Stupid alien! I hate you."

Again. He heard it again. Is the 'you' part is him? He took a deep glance at her porcelain face that was glowing with the yellow light of the room. Before he came to his beloved wife, he phoned Minako, too afraid to call her demon wife. Well it's not her fault though. He brought it on himself. He got to know that Ichiro is been sleeping over there and Minako was told not to tell Misaki that he's coming tonight.

Usui could hardly take in to her so driving, so welcoming appearance. His left hand went to cover her shoulder when a whimper stopped him in the middle of his work. He was hanging at that position. His mind keeps telling him not to wake her up, if he wants to see the next morning light.

"Mmm…" She mumbled shifting position and cradling her head in her arms which didn't help to not to show her curves. Usui's body froze in his place. And with her every movement, he got that funny feeling in the pit of his stomach like there was something that was trying to turn his stomach in to a knot. Before he gets to beat up by his warrior wife he decided to ask for his forgiveness. So he started, knowing he would receive a better reply in her sleeping state.

"Misaki?" He whispered lovingly in her ear.

"Hmm…" Much to his amazement, a quick reply came to his ear. He smiled widely.

"Are you still mad at me?" He whispered before hide his face behind a pillow afraid of for the slightest chance of her eyes might open.

"Mad at whom?" She asked a little drowsily.

Usui got the chance and made up his mind to utter that name. "Takumi."

But instead of reply, a single tear fell from her eye and stopped at the lobe of her ear looking like a crystal was hanging at the rim of her lobule. Usui's heart froze. The warm feeling in his stomach long gone replaced with guilt. He swiftly kissed away the thin salty line of water and pulled her body close to him. He doesn't care if his movement wakes her up. All he wants to do is to cradle her securely in his arms, tightly hug her so that her little feature is caged in between his arms and make up for the time he was away.

It's not only the seven days, it's been year since they never get much time for each other. Their damn work was in between them. It's either he's being late or she's being late or both of them. And now the horrible trip made it worst.

"Hate him."It was a little whisper but the message hit his ear as clean as water, for him being an inch closer to her lips.

"You should be," He replied before he caressed his soft lips to her.

The night breaks when the first ray of sunlight kissed the brunette's cheek. Her arms tried to be stretched up to welcome a lonely morning again but it didn't budge a bit since something heavy placed at her hand and her stomach. Eyes fully awake, she checked her surroundings. Why Ichiro didn't wake her up? Then the sudden realization hit her that he's in her mom's place. Then who's all above her? She could see a glimpse of blond hair. She blinked twice. "He's back." That sinks in to her vein. Her other hand tried to push him back but the hold got farmer with her every protest.

"Get off me!" She hissed loudly.

"Good morning to you too, Misa-chan!" Usui replied still in that position.

"Urggh!" Misaki tried her best to push him back but deep in her heart, the void space in her heart telling her something else. She had a hard time to pull him in to a bone crushing hug. Then something cold yet wet touched her neck. That took her breath away. Before she loses her control, she decided to spat. "GET OFF ME OR I SWEAR I'LL KILL YOU." She threatened feeling extraordinarily brave.

Not to witness her further wrath, he sauntered off his body a little. That gave Misaki the chance to slip away but as for her luck, the major part of hem of the robe was left at the pillow made her wearing slackened. Off course Takumi was above the pillow.

With one swift motion he caught her from behind and pulled her back to his chest. The hobby, he missed since a long time. Shoot the hobby, the person he missed the most. The robe she was wearing last night was hardly clothing. She cursed herself for her to be that absent mind. Struggling is even worse as his strong arms are brushing with her bare stomach with her every move. That feeling again. "Take a grip with your racing heart Misaki. " She painfully tried to remind herself.

"Who…Who are you." She mentally slapped her for her shuddering.

"Well, you tell," Usui urged to turn her around but she was sitting there like a statue.

After getting no reply from her, Usui's mouth went behind her ear. "It's okay to hate me you know." He whispered then fastened the bow of the robe in front of her.

"You don't have to tell me." She replied and she praised herself for not to shudder this time.

"How are you?" That three words had to be come from his mouth at a time like this?

Isn't it obvious? "If I tell you I was fine, that would be a lie to you." She said with a little bitterness in her voice.

Usui clasped both of her hand with his. "I missed you." He added ignoring her bitter truth reply.

Misaki was expecting this but not in this way. Not when she felt like crying. No she can't cry. She never cries. "I did not." She said as slow as a whisper.

Before she knew it, she was on his lap. He had his arms around her and his nose is in her hair. And damn to her submissive attitude towards him, she couldn't gather the courage to push him back.

"I've missed you so much Misaki." He breathed in her hair. He's pressing her to his chest and she's melting. Her brick wall of scolding is melting. Heck her frozen hand came to rest in his toned chest. "I hate you." She murmured.

"I love you the most." He replied and made her to look at him. He gave her a warm, avuncular smile that made her heart go warm and fussy.

Misaki gazed up at him tried to make her look a glare but ended up softening it after looking at his crimson pale face for the first time that morning. She's happy. But why can't she grip the urge to look happy? Damn her stupid pride!

"Say it." His voice broke her trance of thought.

"What?" She had to ask him?

"Say it what you want to say." He urged but how can she scold him when he told her with that over gentle manner.

"I…I hate you." She said the words that were struggling in her mouth for days.

"Ahh…that's nothing new." He said maintaining his ever so cool behavior. "Say something else."

"Damn him making me confuse with his wild answer." She groaned inwardly. "I hate you the most."

Usui's first inclination to her answer is to laugh. He gazed down at her. She was looking at her fisted hands resting in her knees. He totally caught off guard at her audacity. But he tried his best to hide his amusement.

His eyes then soften with humor. "You didn't miss me?"

"Ichiro is been missing - hmph!" Before she could complete her sentence his sculptured lips pressed on to her soft lips sending delicious tingles through her body.

"You can't make- Hmph!" Again she was rudely interrupted by his hard lips. His tongue licked her bottom lip making an inaudible gasp escaped from her lips. Taking the chance, his tongue slipped in to her mouth asking for dominance. Misaki fought with equal force.

Their lip-lock broke when they felt the need of air to breath. Usui wasn't even affected when Misaki heaved like she ran a marathon.

"I see," He smirked. "Such a feisty reaction," He checked her form. "You look like you have lost three pounds, since last time." His cool breath brushed her neck. She involuntarily shuddered at his action. Her hands went behind his neck as her hands grown its own mind. But before she went further, she felt something like sand paper behind his neck just below where his hairs end.

That alert Usui as he pulled her to him; his back was resting in the bed with Misaki on the top of him. "I'm sorry." He voiced the words and cupped her chin. He ran a trail of kisses from the corner of her eye to the corner of her mouth. An unwanted moan escaped from Misaki. She flushed at her idiocy.

His hands found his way to the small of her back then went to unclasp the bra strap when Misaki jolted away from him. "Wait a minute," She sat above his toned belly. "I'll not forgive you." Misaki eyed him and crossed her arms in front of her chest but most importantly the crimson red face was still there that drove him crazy.

"Really," Usui arched a brow at his drama queen and smirked. "What about this?" He tickled her.

"No. Takumi you perverted outer space alien."

"Hehe…here, here Misa-chan!"

"No. Don't. Haha… No. You stupid pervert. Haha…Don't"

"And this and this" He tickled her until she was beneath him.

"Ha…haha…No…Stop."

They both heaved after a long war of tickling.

Misaki gazed up in to the face of the man she loves. Usui's expression is soft, bearing his weight with his elbow, his other hand reached up to tug her meshed-up hair behind her ear.

"I've a reason for this late coming." Finally he pressed the green button of his fear. His face etched with concern. The fear is that if she acts on impulse.

"The excuse must be better." She replied tried to put a little acid in her voice.

He sat up and starred at her. "First promise me not to freak out."

"As if I'm the only one here only freaking out," She replied but disoriented after looking at his damn serious look.

"Give me my robe." He went back to his teasing mode again and tried to pull the robe she was wearing securely.

"Stop it. You pervert!" Misaki slapped his hand.

"I've gotten in to an accident three days ago." He said quickly and as simple as possible.

Misaki said nothing.

"It's not a big deal haha…"

"Turn around."

"Wha…?" He could not catch her words.

"TURN AROUND." She repeated clearly.

"Aww… Why would that be? Is that the new- hay!" Usui's teasing voiced stopped when she jumped to his side and looked at the fresh stitch behind his neck.

She gasped loud. "WHAT THE HELL!"
