The Guy Next Door

Chapter 26

It's been so long since I last wrote I know! So sorry about that! I just haven't had time between school and work every day! But just a few more months and then its summer! Hopefully I can write more then (:

I'm going to apologize ahead of time if this is not very good or as good as my past chapters, I'm a little rusty, but I'll try my best. Xoxo

Troy held the door open for me as we started to leave the bedroom and he smirked making me blush. I still couldn't believe what we had just done. I knew then that there was something special about Troy, for no guy had ever made me feel the way he did.

We headed downstairs, holding hands, and noticed that people were starting to leave. We chatted with some of our friends and had a drink and a bite to eat. About an hour later Taylor and I got ready to leave. I kissed and hugged Troy and he whispered in my ear.

"I had a wonderful time tonight." I blushed.

"Me too Troy."

I kissed him again and then went to stand by the door as I watched Chad and Taylor say goodbye.

"Thank you for asking me to be your date tonight Chad, I had a blast." Tay said with a smile.

"No, thank you Taylor, for accepting my offer." He smiled and kissed her cheek. She blushed.

"See you Monday at school?" Chad nodded to answer her and she smiled again.

"Okay bye."

"Bye pretty lady." Chad winked and Taylor giggled. We waved goodbye to the guys one last time and then left. In the car I asked Taylor how her night went and she said it went pretty well.

"I had a lot of fun. Chad danced with me some and then we talked and got to know one another a bit more and he told me about his ex and how things went down with her. I felt bad hearing that from him, he seems like such a nice guy…but I guess it's better than the girl staying with him while also with the other guy right? I mean at least he got out of it soon enough before it could hurt him even more."

I nodded in agreement and listened as she talked. "I really like him gabs." I smiled.

"I'm glad Tay; I have a feeling you two are going to hit it off so well, in fact I think you already have." She blushed and then as if to shake away the embarrassment she shook her head and then turned back to me.

"How about you gab? How was your night? I noticed you and Troy had disappeared for a while." Now it was my turn to blush and be embarrassed.

"Yeah…um…we kind of…did stuff..." Taylor gasped.

"No way! Spill!" I laughed at her enthusiasm and then took a deep breath and explained. When I finished Taylor didn't know what to say.

"Hello? Earth to Taylor?" I laughed/

"Wow Gabs that sounds so fun, I'm glad you didn't go all the way though." I nodded.

"Me too."

Troy's POV

"So how was your night with Taylor dude?" I asked Chad, as we picked up his place from the party.

"It was great, she just seems so amazing and when she is shy it's so cute. Her laugh makes me feel all warm inside and that smile of hers, when it was from me I was overwhelmed with a wonderful sensation. I just met her tonight but already she seems so much better than Tiffany and I think I could see myself finally moving on, with Taylor's help of course."

I smiled at my best friend. With one look at him as he talked about her I know he was feeling the same about Taylor as I did about Gabriella and it was good to see him in happier spirits. He hadn't been himself since his break up. I patted him on the back.

"I'm glad to hear that bro, I think Taylor would be great for you, she's already made a visible difference in you." He chuckled.

"Oh, so Bolton where did you and Brie disappear too?" He asked curiously raising one of his eyebrows. I cleared my throat.

"Um…a bedroom…" I said, my face getting red.

"Saaaaayyyyy whhaaatt?" Chad said in amusement.

"Yeah…we didn't go all the way…but I did see her fully unclothed and god was she so hot. She drove me crazier than any girl ever has and all she did was blow me….it was so amazing like I can't even explain." I said shaking my head and adjusting me as the thoughts of what happened early started getting me hard again.

"Whoa okay, down boy." Chad teased which made me even redder in the face. I punched him in the arm.

"Shut up man." He chuckled and put his hands up.

"Just saying dude." I smiled thinking back again. Damn that girl was amazing, and she was all mine.

A month and a half later…

Gabriella's POV

Things with Troy and I were great for a while but then something seemed to change. Sharpay had suddenly changed and went with the whole "nice" act and she was really over doing it and she got Troy to talk to her and even got him to forgive her and since then they had miraculously became the best of friends…but something about it didn't sit right with me. I had been meaning to talk to Troy about it… I had already talked to Taylor and Ryan and even Chad about it and although Ryan wasn't here to see it first-hand he still came to the same conclusion as my other friends…That something was up and I needed to sit down and talk to Troy about it. Well today was the day I would talk to him about it. He should be over after practice which ended in five minutes. My nerves had been acting up all day and I hadn't been able to eat, I had about 10 headaches throughout the whole day and my medication didn't seem to help much anymore…another problem I needed to address. I paced around my house waiting and I heard a knock 10 minutes later and went to answer it.

"Hello Troy"

"Hey babe" He leaned into kiss me and I let him and kissed back. "So what did you want me to come over for? I can't stay long I have plans with..." I cut him off.

"Sharpay?" He nodded. My heart broke a little and I sighed. "Troy…we need to talk."

"Um…okay?" I took his hand and led him to the couch. "So what's up?"

I sighed. "Troy this whole thing with Sharpay is a bit weird and honestly I'm not comfortable with it. I just have a bad feeling and I've noticed things haven't been the same between us..."

"What are you talking about Gabriella? Nothing has changed between us." I heard the slight anger in his voice and defensiveness creeping into it as well.

"Maybe you haven't noticed but I have and I don't like it."

"So what are you saying that you don't want me to be friends with her anymore? Just because you don't like her?" I was taken aback by the tone of his voice and the coldness to it.

"No Troy, that's not…that's not what I'm saying." I went to say more but he cut me off.

"Just save it Gabriella. I don't dictate who you can see or hang out with and now you're doing it to me? How is that fair? You don't own me…I hate to break it to you there." I started to tear up. "Oh great now you're bringing the waterworks huh?" He said, raising his voice.

"I know I don't own you Troy…I've never said I do…"

"Just shut up! I don't want to hear it! I can't even believe we're having this conversation right now! Do you not trust me? Do you honestly think I'm that kind of guy?!" That voice that scared me…that voice full of anger he hide started to show and I moved away from him. I couldn't believe how much he was overreacting. I took a deep breath and got up wiping my tears away.

"Just get out Troy." Troy's face started to soften as what I just said started sinking in.

"Wait Ella I'm…." He reached for me but I pulled away.

"Just go." I took a deep breath. "It's over Troy, I can't do this anymore." That anger was back once again as he got up and threw a vase of flowers against the wall which almost hit me. I started crying more getting scared as he came toward me with his hands in fists then backed away again and left slamming my door making some pictures fall off the walls. I fell to my knees and cried more.
