NMNT Season 3 Chapter 11: Countdown

-New York City Rooftops: Night-

On a calm moonlit night, a shadowy figure leapt across several rooftops in a gymnastics defying manner. With each leap the figure made sure to stick to the shadows, sticking her head out only to make sure the coast was clear. The figure then slowly crept her way towards the edge of one rooftop, went to the other side and took a running start as she propelled herself towards a rooftop of a seemingly abandoned warehouse.

The figure then walked over to a vent and pulled off the grate, which revealed that it was guarded by intruder detecting beams. She reached inside her battle gear and pulled out a small cylindrical object. Then she carefully held it in a gap that was between two beams. With delicate precision, she pushed a button on the cylinder which immediately covered all the beams, effectively silencing the alarm. She then leapt down the vent.

-The (Not-so) Abandoned Warehouse-

Using stealth to her advantage, the figure carefully climbed out of the air duct (which was hanging from the ceiling) and began crawling on top of it. Presently she came upon a group of three guards standing below her (who were wielding high-tech rifles and were dressed in black jumpsuits and wore sunglasses).

As she positioned herself above them, the figure reached inside her battle gear and pulled out what seemed to be a hockey puck. She pressed and dropped it where it landed dead center in the group. Before they could react, a green gas was released from the hockey puck. Stupidly they breathed it in and no time at all they were knocked out. The figure then took a deep breath and leapt down from the air ducts into the cloud of knock-out gas. As she quickly stepped out, Karai then reached inside her battle gear again and pulled out a palm-sized, disc-shaped EMP where she then placed it on a huge door in front of her.

She pushed a button and effectively disabled the electrical locking mechanism, allowing her to open the huge door with ease. Karai then stepped inside a room that held a white microchip of sorts. She then put a ring on her finger and shot a green scanning beam at the microchip. Then she shot a red laser and melted the glass dome which was covering the microchip.

Karai let out a small smile as she pocketed the ring and prepare to grab the chip. Suddenly the chip was covered a thick metal dome as an alarm rang loudly.

"Alert, Level 1 Security Breach detected, commencing lock-down procedure immediately!" said a voice. Karai's eyes widened in shock as the entrance began to close rapidly.

Wasting no time, she immediately took off running towards the narrowing exit, barely making it out just as the entrance was sealed shut. However, her troubles were far from over. There in front of her was Bishop and a well-armed 4-man security team.

"Interesting trap," said Karai.

"Actually, this is the trap," Bishop replied coolly as a blue-ringed laser trap sprang up from the floor and stopped just five inches above her head (while simultaneously sealing the top part off so she couldn't leap out, not that she had the leg room to do that mind you).

Karai calmly took out some Makibishi spikes and threw them into the lasers where they immediately disintegrated into nothing.

"Yet another piece of advanced technology salvaged from our alien visitors," Bishop said as he took out an unpolished diamond that was the size of a five-year old's fist, "cuts through anything like a hot knife through butter."

And he boastfully demonstrated this (with a smug smirk) by disintegrating the diamond into nothing. He then walked over to a fairly large flat-screen monitor and pressed a button on the control panel. Presently, the image of Oroku Saki, who was sitting in his office chair and had his back turned, in his office appeared. He turned around as he heard the call.

"What the hell is this? Whoever you are, this is a secure channel," he said.

Bishop started the introductions as he said, "Mr. Oroku Saki, my name is Bishop and I believe you know my guest."

And he proudly displayed his prisoner.

"Karai," Saki responded angrily (to Bishop).

"In exchange for the life of your operative here, I want all the alien technology you've been collecting," said Bishop with a smug smile.

Saki kept a neutral expression, "I have no idea what you're..."

"Please; knowledge is my business Mr. Saki and I know all about you," said Bishop.

"Do you now?" Saki replied, "well believe me Mr. ...Bishop, you know nothing about me."

"I know you're some crime lord of some ancient Japanese organization," Bishop said (with the smirk still present), "I know you've been using your vast ill gained fortune to finance restoration operations in New York City as a cover to obtain dangerous alien technology. I know you've sent this...lovely young woman, your adopted daughter if I'm not mistaken, to steal an alien microchip from the United States Government. And I know that if you do not turn over your entire stockpile of alien hardware to me within the next forty-five minutes, your assassin will have a very slow and painful death."

-Oroku Saki's Headquarters, Saki's Main Office-

Saki watched Bishop check his watch as he said darkly, "Forty-four minutes and counting."

Then monitor then went dark. Saki, however did not appear to be worried as he smiled a smug little smirk.

"Foolish little man," he said, "you may have solved one piece of my puzzle, but you have no idea how dangerous I can really become."

-The Headquarters Furnace Room-

In a room that held an enormous furnace, Hun and Baxter Stockman (who is still in his robot suit given to him by Dr. Chaplin) were busily shoveling coal from a bunker and into the contraption (they are wearing harnesses that are tied to the ground via a sheathed cable).

Stockman couldn't help but smile at Hun's predicament.

"Look at you, you poor pathetic piece of shit," he said, taking a break, "laboring away like a dutiful prisoner."

Hun ignored him as he continued to shovel coal.

"You'd do anything to please the Shredder, even if it was disgusting like sucking his own cock. You are just sad," Stockman continued.

Just then he heard foot steps behind him. He turned his holographic head and saw Oroku Saki standing behind him.

"Sir!" Stockman said in surprise (and panic), "I-I-I was just saying how therapeutic the work is; truly cathartic."

Saki furrowed his brow as he said, "I will speak with Hun." And he took out a small remote and pushed a button that painfully shocked Stockman through the cable that was tied to the ground.

"GAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Stockman screamed as he fell to the ground in pain. When the shocks subsided, he groaned and he picked himself up and said, "I'll just get back to work."

Hun walked up to Saki, "Master, I..."

"Silence Hun," Saki interrupted, "I have not come here to hear you plead. You have failed me one time too many...and yet you have also been loyal beyond reproach. I have decided to give you one last chance to redeem yourself."

"Master, I will not fail you; I swear it," said Hun.

"Karai has been captured by Agent Bishop, you must bring her back alive," said Saki.

Hun hesitated with his reply.

"Is there a problem?" Saki asked as he narrowed his eyes in anger.

"No! No master," Hun hastily replied.

Saki then pushed another button and released Hun's harness.

"We have data indicating Karai's last location," Saki said, "Dr. Chaplin will provide you with special ordinance." Saki then grabbed Hun's neck and brought him down to eye level as he warned, "Remember, should she die, you die." And he pushed him back and walked away, Hun following after a few seconds passed.

And as soon as they were out of earshot, Stockman began to make a plan as he smiled and said, "You know, it would be such a shame if something went wrong and Hun couldn't save Karai. Heh, heh, heh."

He then produced a personal heads-up-display and released his harness.

"If that damn fool thinks he can contain me in this crappy harness, then his mind is starting to slip," he said as he brought up specific information and commanded, "Now, establish a comm-link and find the last location of the Shredder's little pet: Karai."

His heads-up-displayed showed exactly that.

"Hmm, an abandoned warehouse in Brooklyn," he said with an evil smile, "Now to broadcast on the most probable of frequencies so that some old friends will be able to meet Hun there."

-New York City streets, Night-

At that moment, the Battle Shell was cruising the streets at a reasonable pace and the occupants inside were happily jamming along to a mid-nineteen nineties hip-hop beat that was playing on the radio. Much to their displeasure, the radio began producing static noise with a bit of a whine. Everyone inside winced as Naruto (who's in the driver's seat) began fine-tuning the radio. But before he could, a voice came through the speakers.

" *Static*...This is Hun, I am on my way to recover the device."

"What the hell?" Naruto asked as he adjusted a different set of knobs.

"Once I've obtained the technology I'm after and we give it to the brilliant Dr. Stockman, we'll be able to hunt down the turtles, the whiskered freak and their rat master."

Everyone in the vehicle either furrowed their brow in anger or scowled and gritted their teeth.

-The Headquarters Furnace Room-

Unknown to them, however, it was Stockman actually pushing their buttons through a voice synthesizer. He gave a small smug smile as he continued with the fake threat.

-The Battle Shell-

"There's nowhere they'll be able to hide. I'm on my way to Warehouse 51 in Brooklyn to make the pick-up. Hun out!"

"Probably a trap," Naruto said as he turned off the radio.

"More than likely," said Donatello.

"But still," said Leonardo, "we have to check it out. If it's for real, then we have to stop him."

"Casey?" Michelangelo asked.

"It's not even a question," Casey replied, "besides, any chance I get to whoop Hun's ugly ass is a chance I'm gonna take."

"I'm down with dat," Raphael agreed as he and Casey high-fived each other.

Naruto then violently turned the Battle Shell in the opposite direction and began heading for the warehouse.

-The Headquarters Furnace Room-

Stockman chuckled evilly as he put his harness back on.

"Right about now those freaks should be heading off to investigate," he said as he chuckled some more, "They're so pathetically predictable, while I am a genius. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!"

-Outside the (not-so) abandoned warehouse-

Hun pulled up in a sleek armored car.

"According to the master, this should be the place."

He took one good look and saw no visible entrances. He smiled.

"No front door, no back door, no problem," he said as he revved the engine and pulled a lever that turned the car in to a battering ram.

"Knock knock," he said as he released the brake pedal and came smashing through the wall, crashing into truck-trailers and running over and killing several people as he maneuvered his way deeper into the complex.

Meanwhile, the six heroes arrived at the impromptu entrance in the Battle Shell.

"I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say I think we found the place," said Casey (who was wearing his hockey mask) as Naruto stopped the vehicle before everyone stepped out.

-With Agent Bishop-

The man (and his guards) was standing in an empty room, as he pulled his shades down slightly and raised an eyebrow in a curious manner in response to an engine revving and a loud thumping noise happening outside the door. Just then, Hun's vehicle came crashing in.

"Heh," Bishop smirked as he pulled out a hand-held device, "I didn't expect an answer so soon. Gentlemen, we have a train to catch."

And he pushed a button which immediately activated a mechanism that made the floor they were standing on quickly descend into a hidden chamber while closing the entrance at the same time.

Hun practically leapt out of the vehicle as he quickly went to work on opening the hidden entrance (with his bare hands).

However, he was interrupted by the arrival of the six heroes.

"Alright Hun, you wanted technology to track us, well we're right here," said Leo as everyone took out their respective weapons.

"I don't have time for this," Hun growled.

"Then make some damn time," Raph retorted.

Hun just grabbed a large cylindrical canister and threw it at the heroes, who leapt out of the way. He then opened the entrance and leapt in.

"How rude," said Mikey.

-The Underground Railroad-

Hun arrived just as Bishop's high-tech train was departing.

"Damn it!" he exclaimed angrily. Just then, the train's rear laser cannons fired off several rounds. The henchman dodged the blasts as he took out a tracking device, activated it, and threw it on to the moving train where it attached itself to its back. But just when he thought his troubles were over, the train prepared to fire a small rocket-propelled explosive.

"Aw crap," Hun muttered as he began running back up to the warehouse as fast as he could. He managed to make it out through the entrance, but then the rocket exploded and made certain sections of the building come crashing down on both him and the heroes.

As the smoke cleared, Hun climbed out of his portion of rubble (his shirt is gone) only to see that his car smashed into bits.

"Goddamn it, not my ride!" he exclaimed. He then walked over to the wreak and smiled as he pulled out a wrist-worn tracking device.

"You won't get away so easily Bishop," he said as he pulled out an unscathed duffel bag. He then walked over to the Battle Shell and opened the rear doors. He smiled as he laid his eyes upon Raph's red Shell Cycle.

"Heh, looks like those freaks ain't so useless after all," he said.

At the same time, the heroes were groaning as they picked themselves up.

"Ok, even that was unexpected," said Naruto.

"Gotta agree with you there," said Casey.

"Man, even my concussion has a concussion," said Mikey.

Just then they saw Hun speed away on Raph's Shell Cycle.

"No, NO! He's stealin' my bike!" Raph exclaimed in a tone of semi-disbelief.

"We got no time to lose," said Naruto as he and the others all clambered into the Battle Shell while he fired up the engine and raced after him.

-Oroku Saki's Headquarters, Saki's Main Office-

Dr. Chaplin knocked on the door before entering.

"Enter," said Oroku Saki (who was kneeling behind a small table).

"Excuse me Master Saki," said Dr. Chaplin as he entered and closed the door behind him, "I set up the communication security system just as you requested and I found one unauthorized anomaly."

"Anomaly? Replay for me this anomaly," said Saki.

Dr. Chaplin then pulled out a small hand-held high-tech recording device and pressed the 'Play' button.

"This is Hun, I am on my way to recover the device."

"Stockman," Saki growled.

-New York City Streets: Night-

Hun accelerated as fast as he could while also monitoring the tracking device.

-The Underground Railroad-

At the same time, Bishop's train made a stop at another base where two men were waiting for him on the platform.

Bishop stepped out. "Captain, we have an incursion at Base Gamma, I want full security coverage and get the damn bird in the air," he commanded.

"Sir yes sir," said the captain.

-With Hun-

Just then, above ground on the streets, Hun stopped a little ways away from a building. He then checked his tracking device and saw that Bishop's train had stopped at that location. Hun then accelerated the motor cycle, but not before another obstacle stood in his path: a Comanche Helicopter.

"Mother of fuck," he muttered as the air vehicle began firing its machine guns. Hun quickly leapt off the Shell Cycle just as the copter blew it to smithereens. He then reached into his duffel bag and pulled out a rocket launcher. He fired and in an instant, the copter exploded into a million pieces.

"Heh heh, sometimes it's fun bein' me, especially when I get to kill people," he chuckled darkly.

-Inside the Building-

Bishop's heavily-armed men readied themselves as they pointed their high-tech rifles at the main entrance.

Just then, the door was blown away as Hun threw aside his rocket launcher and pulled out his mini-gun. He smiled darkly as he began firing at the opposition.

-With the heroes-

Meanwhile, outside the building, the six heroes arrived to find Raph's Shell Cycle virtually disintegrated.

"Oh no," Raph cried as he and the others came out, "Oh no, oh no! My Shell Cycle, it's-it's-it's...DDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMNNNNNNNN!"

He then yelled angrily as he headed towards the building.

"Slow down Raphael, we'll go in...together," Leo began to protest only to give up seeing as how he couldn't change Raph's mind.

"And you guys call me a hot-head," said Casey as he pulled out a hockey stick.

-With Hun-

As fires burned and bodies laid still surrounded in pools of their own blood, Hun began to shout (as he ripped open a reinforced door), "Bishop, come out you bastard; I know you're here!"

Hun then sensed a presence behind himself. He turned around and saw Raph, who proceeded to punch his face before kicking him to a wall next to the ripped out reinforced doors.

"That's for stealin' my bike!" Raph exclaimed angrily.

Hun growled, "Get lost turtle, this ain't about you!" Raph punched him again in the face.

"And that's for wreakin' it!"

"I said, GET LOST!" Hun shouted as he threw a door so fast at Raph that not only he had no time to dodge it but it sent him flying into the rest of the group.

"I don't have time to deal with your ugly asses!" Hun shouted as he ran down the stairs that were behind the doors he ripped out.

Naruto pushed off the door.

"Y'know," said Mikey, "for someone working so hard to find us, he sure is doing a good job of ignoring us."

"Hun does seem to be focused on something else," said Don.

"Maybe," said Leo.

"Which begs the question, what is he looking for?" Naruto asked.

"Guess we gotta find out," said Casey. And they all followed after the henchman.

-The Underground Railroad-

Hun managed to reach the platform and was pleased to see the train still there. But even though he was pleased, he kept his guard up as he cautiously entered the train. He looked down his right and saw the imprisoned Karai. He smiled.

"Karai," he said, "I can't tell you how many times I wished to see you dead. But my life depends on saving yours."

Suddenly a floor panel in front of him was thrust forward and managed to hit him as Bishop leapt out of his hiding place.

"I'll hand it to you," Bishop smirked, "You're persistent."

"Lasers are no match for a good mini-gun at your side," said Hun.

Bishop just swiftly kicked Hun out of the train.

"But then again, you are a dumb-ass," he said as he pulled a lever, "Say good-bye."

The doors then closed and the train began to move. Hun, thinking and acting fast, quickly grabbed a large, low-hanging pipe and jammed it in between a space between two wheels, forcing the train to stop.

At the same time, the heroes arrived on the platform and witnessed what was happening.

"Now what's going on?" Leo asked.

"Don't matter," Raph growled, "He's goin' down."

They all then leapt atop the train (Naruto gave Casey a boost before climbing up himself) and peered into a ceiling-window. There they saw Bishop picking himself up and pulling out his Smith and Wesson Model 29 .44 Magnum. Then they saw Karai in her containment unit.

"Karai?" Casey asked.

"Bishop?" Naruto asked.

Bishop then opened a door and leaned out as he prepared to shoot Hun.

"I'm going to enjoy staining the walls with your brain," he said darkly with a smile on his face.

Hun just smirked as he pulled out the pipe holding the train in place (which made Bishop shoot the ground) and quickly climbed into an entrance where he then shattered the glass window with his fist and forced the door open. He then threw aside his mini-gun and charged straight at Bishop, who had stepped in to avoid the outside wall.

Bishop managed to hold his own as he held Hun at bay with his bare hands before sliding under him and retrieving the mini-gun. However, Hun's speed caught him off-guard as the agent and the henchman fought for control, squeezing off a few rounds towards the ceiling, shattering some of the windows above (the heroes above barely managed to doge the bullets).

Hun and Bishop, meanwhile, continued wrestling for control. Bishop slowly inched his prisoner's containment unit, smirking as he forced the mini-gun onto it and disintegrating it. Hun pulled it away and threw the now-useless gun at Bishop, managing to hit him in the process. Hun then grabbed Bishop, put him into a full-nelson and began to break his back. However, Bishop smirked as he pistol-whipped Hun with his Smith and Wesson.

"Heh heh," he chuckled as he kicked Hun in his abdomen and sent him flying into a wall. Bishop then proceeded to kick him again with a flying-kick, but Hun grabbed his leg and began slamming him side to side and wall to wall before pining him up against a wall.

"Alright dumb-ass" Bishop smirked, "You want to be serious then let's be serious!" And he grabbed Hun by his right arm and smashed his face through the train door's window (subsequently cutting his face and making it bleed) before pulling it back in. Hun then freed himself and the two began exchanging blows.

The heroes, meanwhile, were still watching the fight unfold.

"So what do we do?" Mikey asked.

"What do you think?" Raph remarked, "We let em' kill each other."

Just then Hun ripped off a door and tried to smash Bishop, who had managed to stand in the hole where the window was broken. Bishop then pulled down a price of the ceiling and hit Hun with it.

"When I'm through killing you," Bishop declared, "This bitch is next!"

Up above, Casey said with an urgent tone, "C'mon guys, at least let's get Karai outta there!"

Leo pulled out a Katana.

"Leo," Raph began to protest, but his brother would have none of that.

"Raph, she's done the same for us; now we're getting her out," said Leo.

Just then, Bishop grabbed Hun by his pony tail and began pushing his head toward's Karai's containment unit.

"Damn it," he groaned as he fought back as hard as he could with Bishop standing on his back, pinning him down, "Not here, not now."

At that moment, Raph leapt in from the outside and kicked Bishop off of Hun.

"Y'know Bishop, you gotta be about the only guy I hate more than Hun," he said as the others leapt in from the outside as well.

"And that's sayin' a lot," said Mikey.

Raph then kicked Hun in his butt and said, "And you owe me a new bike you bastard!" before taking his Sais out and charging straight at Bishop. Bishop managed to fend him off fairly easily until Mikey came in swinging his Nun-Chucks as he and Raph double-teamed him, until he kicked them away. Hun, not wanting to give him a moment's rest, came in throwing punches. However, Bishop quickly picked him up by his right arm and threw him aside. But just then, he was punched from behind, courtesy of Naruto and Casey.

"Hey Case, you think he's ready for round two?" Naruto asked with a smile.

"I don't know," Casey replied, "I mean, I know I am but why don't we ask him?"

Bishop growled as they both said, "Nah!"

Meanwhile, Leo and Don were busy figuring out how to free Karai.

"This train car is amazing," Don said in awe.

"Let's stay focused Don," Leo said.

"But it's just so fascinating," Don replied.

Just then, Casey came crashing down next to them before leaping in and joining Naruto again.

"Time is of the essence Donatello," said Karai.

"Right, sorry," Don said sheepishly before becoming focused on the task at hand, "Leo, I need you to slice the upper ring..."

He paused as Leo readied himself by raising his Katanas in the air.

"Now!" Don commanded. Leo slashed twice at the top and instantly the device holding Karai captive was disabled. She then calmly stepped out and watched as Casey and Naruto held their own against Bishop.

(Speaking of which) At that moment Naruto latched onto Bishop by wrapping his legs around the agent's waist while supporting himself by grabbing his head, which he proceeded to head-butt several times before leaping off and landing behind him and put him in a full-nelson.

"Casey, now!" Naruto shouted.

"Right, this is for kidnappin' her you ugly done of a bitch!" Casey exclaimed as he charged right in with a baseball bat and yelled, "Goongala!" smacking him across his head.

Naruto then pushed him into Raph and Mikey, who kicked him into Karai, Leo and Don who punched him into Hun, who slammed him side to side once again before throwing him into a wall.

But to everyone's shock, Bishop got up and dusted himself as if to prove the attacks meant nothing. Though he did check his lip and forehead and found that they were both bleeding. He wiped the blood off with a frown but then looked at the group of eight with a smug smile.

"I see the odds have changed," he said, "but I never play the odds." He then demonstrated his prowess knocking Naruto and Leo's heads together and tying Raph, Mikey, and Don together by their hands using his black tie. Then he pushed the brothers into each other as he avoided Karai's sword and Casey's bat which he then tangled them up by their own weapons. Hun tried grabbing Bishop in a bear hug, but Bishop just slid underneath him and tripped him up. Bishop then reached into a hidden compartment and pulled out a black briefcase and headed for the train's front cab.

He turned to look at the group and said, "Oh, before I go I never got the chance to thank you Naruto. You provided me with your brothers' DNA samples during our previous encounter thanks to their weapons I confiscated; you'd be amazed at what I can get from embedded finger-prints alone." He held up the briefcase and continued, "I only wish I could've gotten yours, but what I obtained has put my research ahead fifty years over-night. Ciao." He then pulled a lever and separated the cab from the rest of the train.

Slowly but surely, the train began slowing down. Hun cracked his knuckles, which alerted the brothers and Casey as they turned to face him.

"Now that Karai is safe," Hun said with a sinister smile, "I can kill you freaks as a little bonus for the Shredder, and don't think I forgot what you did to me last time we met Jones."

But as he started to advance on the six heroes, Karai nerve-pinched him on his shoulder while simultaneously hitting him at the base of his neck before throwing him out.

Karai then just stared at the brothers. "Thank you," she said simply, "And do not worry, I will say that one of your invisible clones snuck behind and hit him."

And she then proceeded to leave, but not before Casey said, "Karai, wait."

Karai paused as Casey walked up to her, cupped her face with his hands and kissed her fully on the lips. All the brothers, except for Naruto who smirked, had a look of disbelief on their faces.

Casey then pulled away and asked with a smile, "So, we still on for Friday night babe?"

Karai smiled and said, "As always Mr. Jones." She then leapt out of the train. Casey turned to face the brothers, who (except for Naruto) still had a look of incredulous disbelief.

"What?" he said, "She's my type."

"Uh, at least she said thanks," Leo said as he and his turtle brothers slowly processed on what had just occurred. Just then the train came to a full stop.

As Raph and Mikey stepped out, Raph exclaimed in disbelief, "I can't believe I lost my bike!"

"Look on the bright side Raph," Mikey said in an effort to jokingly console him, "You may have lost the Shell Cycle, but Donny here gained a shiny new train car."

As he was pointing that fact out, Don inspected the train's built-in advanced technology with excitement written on his face.

"Can I keep it Leo?" he said excitedly.

Leo smiled as he replied, "If you can figure out a way to get it home."

"Naruto?" Don asked.

Naruto sighed with a smile on his face as made a finger cross hand sign and said, "Yeah, yeah, I'm on it."

-Oroku Saki's Headquarters, Saki's Main Office-

Oroku Saki had gathered his top subordinates in his office. Baxter Stockman and Dr. Chaplin stood out of the way as Hun and Karai stepped up to talk.

"My lord," Karai said as she bowed down in gratitude, "thank you for sending Hun, he saved my life."

As she stood up from her bow, Hun (who had a new black shirt on) stepped in closer to Saki and sat on one knee as he bowed his head.

"I live to serve you master," he said.

"You live as long as you succeed," Saki replied in a blunt manner. He then turned his attention to Karai and asked, "Did you retrieve the microchip Karai?"

"No my lord," she replied as she reached in her battle suit and pulled out a ring, "but I did manage to get a detailed scan. We should be able to construct a prototype of our own."

"Which is obviously why I'm here," Stockman said in a smug tone as he stepped up, "you've finally seen the error of your ways and are going to let me do what I do best."

"No," Saki growled as two Foot Ninjas quietly entered the office and stood beside Stockman, "Dr. Chaplin will create the prototype for the microchip. THAT is why he is here."

The two Foot Ninjas grabbed Stockman's robotic arms and brought him to his knees. Stockman's holographic head had a look or terror.

"I want to speak with you about an unauthorized communication you made earlier today," Saki said menacingly as he walked out of his office with the Foot Ninjas dragging Stockman's body.

"No!" Stockman protested, "I can explain everything! No! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Ah, that's much better isn't it. See what happens when there is a balance between real life and this? It's amazing what can happen when you put commitment into one idea at a time instead of having multiple stories with erratic updates that can sometimes take years to happen.

Anyhow, as always, please leave a review.
