NMNT Season 3 Chapter 15: Exodus
-New York City, Oroku Saki's Headquarters: Night-
A very elegant and formal party was being held in the headquarters' outdoor courtyard. Multi-colored Japanese-style lanterns hung everywhere and soft piano jazz music helped to enhance the relaxed atmosphere. The night air was pleasantly cool and the guests attending the event all silently agreed that this was going to be one of the most pleasant evenings they have ever experienced.
At the forefront of this party, sitting at the head table, were Oroku Saki, Karai and their guest of honor who sat in-between them, the mayor of New York City.
The mayor then stood up, tapped his champagne glass and cleared his throat as he said, "Excuse me, may I have your attention please. It is with heavy heart I stand here today to say goodbye to one of the most greatest men I have ever known."
He then gestured towards the man sitting to his right and said, "Oroku Saki, the man singlehandedly responsible restoring the great city of New York to its full glory, is leaving us. I would like you to put your hands together and show this fine man how much we are truly going to miss him."
The guests began clapping in appreciation as Oroku Saki stood up, waved to the crowd and said, "You are too kind, thank you."
The clapping began to gradually die down as he continued, "As my good friend the mayor has just reminded us, this is a farewell dinner; my way of saying thank you and goodbye. Fortune has smiled on me in many ways; the opportunity to...rectify certain matters at home has now presented itself and I must go."
He then gestured towards Karai and he continued, "In my absence, my lovely daughter Karai will handle all my business affairs (she stood up from her seat as he said this). I assure you, she is more than capable. The city has been good to me, it is my adopted home. I hope someday to return. Please, enjoy your dinner and let us make this a truly unforgettable evening."
The guests the clapped in appreciation again as Saki turned to the mayor and said, "My daughter and I must tend to details of my departure. Please keep the guests entertained."
And with that, he and Karai walked towards the headquarters front entrance.
Meanwhile over at the guest entrance for the party, a guard stood firmly in place as he held April and a man slightly taller than her who had dark blue eyes and spiky black hair with jaw-length bangs framing either side of his face (April is in a red, strapless dress wearing white gloves and small slightly-raised black heels and the man beside her is in a white tuxedo with a black bow-tie wearing black leather shoes).
"I have our tickets in here somewhere," April said as she busily dug around in her small black purse before turning to her companion and said, "Are you sure you don't have them on you Menma?"
Menma smiled and chuckled slightly as he answered, "Yeah, I'm pretty sure I don't."
April sighed and continued to dig in her purse.
Meanwhile, right behind the two, Casey (who was dressed like a stereotypical busboy) wheeled in a white cloth-covered cart with some balloons tied to it.
"Hold up," said the guard, "I need to see some identification."
"Come on man," Casey complained, "you're gonna let all this sushi go bad."
"I need to see some identification, now," the guard insisted.
"Why're you breakin' my balls?" Casey complained (subtly grabbing the guard's full attention as April and Menma snuck in), "these dishes gotta get in here. Do me a favor, just check the cart and take it in yourself will ya."
The guard then looked under the white cloth and saw Michelangelo and Raphael packed in as tight as they could be.
"Hi there, nice party," Mikey said as he kicked the guard in the face.
Raph then dragged the body inside as Mikey commented, "Yeah, like it wasn't crowded enough in here."
"Shut up," Raph said as he smacked his brother upside his head.
"You guys done or what?" Casey asked. Raph then gave a thumbs-up as a reply.
Meanwhile in an adjacent building, Leonardo peered through some high-tech binoculars and said, "Looks like Casey, Naruto, April, Raph and Mikey are in."
Next to him, Splinter said with worry, "Leonardo, perhaps we should rethink this; it is very dangerous and I feel as if perhaps I should have-."
"Please Master Splinter we've been over this," Leo protested.
"Which does not alter the fact that I have dragged you all into a very dangerous situation," Splinter retorted, "All because of a vision I cannot even explain."
-Flashback-
Inside the lair, Splinter was kneeling in his room as he meditated in front of his crystal ball that was given to him by the Utroms. Various candles were lit around the room, bathing it in a warm glowing light that made the shadows of Bonsai trees dance. Just then a small breeze whipped throughout the room.
-Splinter's Mindscape-
Splinter's owner and master, Hamato Yoshi, stood underneath a spot light as Mortu (who was in a Utrom Exo-Suit completely devoid of skin or clothing) stepped forward from the shadows and spoke to him.
"Master Hamato Yoshi, Premiere Guardian of the Utroms, we honor you for your exemplary service," he said.
"I swear that I will never fail to protect the good and noble Utroms," Yoshi responded as he bowed, "Even if it will cost me my life."
The scene then changed to Yoshi's final moments of life as he was tortured by Hun and the Shredder in his New York City apartment.
Sweat covered his brow as he defiantly answered, "He who lives without honor will die without honor."
"BAH! I will finish you MYSELF!" shouted the Shredder as he raised his left arm and slashed down, deeply cutting Yoshi and instantly killing him. There Yoshi lay dead in a pool of his own blood.
"HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA!" the Shredder laughed loudly, "Now nothing will save the Utroms from my WRATH!"
The scene then changed to the Shredder being bigger than anyone could possibly imagine as he held several galaxies in the palm of his hand before crushing them and laughing maniacally as an enormous sea of flames surrounded him.
The scene then changed to Splinter and Yoshi facing each other atop of several snow-capped mountains. Splinter looked unsure as to what was going on and what he had to do. Yoshi just stood there with a stoic expression as he handed his former pet a Katana.
Splinter took it and looked at his former master and said, "Watari Masū (again, I don't speak Japanese so if someone could message me what he said it would be most appreciated) I understand." And the two bowed to each other.
-The Lair, Splinter's Room-
Splinter slowly opened his eyes as he exited his meditation with the most stoic and serious expression ever.
He then closed his eyes and said, "I will not fail you my master, my father."
-Flashback end-
"I'll put my faith in one of your visions any day sensei, we all would," Leo replied, "If the Shredder's up to something, we'll get to the bottom of it and we'll stop him. It's what you trained us to do."
Splinter nodded as he took out a bow. Leo then peered through the high-tech binoculars and saw several invisible intruder-detecting lasers.
"Shredder's security is still hot," he said, "Team 3, what's your status."
-A Secret Underground Tunnel-
Team 3 consisted of Donatello, Leatherhead and Professor Honeycutt (who was now back in Don's Palm Top) who were now currently skulking around a secret underground tunnel.
"We're in place," Don replied as he peered around a corner using his Turtle Vision Goggles, "Sewer Access Security is still active. Team 2, what's your status?"
-With April and Naruto-
April and Naruto (who is still in his Menma disguise) were standing underneath a security camera as April answered, "Don, ask the professor if a security camera wire will serve his purposes."
"Oh yes, that will do nicely," the professor answered.
April then took out something that attached itself to the wire covering while Naruto kept his guard up.
"Link established, give me a minute to hack the system," said the professor.
-With Team 3-
After a few seconds, the professor said, "Gentlemen, and lady, I am in. Security systems are down and they don't even know it."
Don then looked through his Turtle Vision Goggles and saw the intruder detecting lasers were disabled.
-With Leo and Splinter (Who are presumably Team 1)-
Leo also visually confirmed this fact as he nodded to Splinter who then took out an arrow with a rope attached to it. He then loaded the bow, pulled the string and fired, securely embedding the arrow on the roof of the headquarters. He then securely tied the rope to the building behind him before he and Leo slid down it.
At the same time, across the street on the roof top of a building, Bishop (who had somehow, mysteriously, survived being impaled on a large hook without so much as a scratch on his body) and his men were watching both Splinter and the others and Oroku Saki.
"Interesting, very interesting," he said to himself. He then turned to a henchman and said, "Check with our man on the inside, I get the distinct feeling there's something he's not telling us."
"Yes sir," said the henchman.
-With Team 3-
Leatherhead ripped open a steel door from its hinges. As the gang walked inside, they discovered that the next room was very dark. Don then lit a torch which illuminated the room to the point where they discovered that this room was large enough to house six large cargo ships in a 3x3 format. At the floor of this room were two pairs of railroad tracks.
"This place is huge!" Don exclaimed, his voice echoing everywhere.
"And recently constructed," Leatherhead added after taking a closer inspection.
"It appears to lead from the Shredder's mansion all the way to the river," said Professor Honeycutt.
"At least the coast is clear," said Leatherhead.
But unbeknownst to them, a pair of Foot Tech ninjas was watching them from a hidden ledge. They then activated their cloaking devices.
Just then, Don was punched in the stomach before being knocked to the ground. Leatherhead was also punched in multiple places but due to his size, however, he was able to take more punishment than Don.
"Oh dear," said Professor Honeycutt.
"It's Foot Tech Ninja," said Don, "They're cloaked."
Leatherhead took punch after punch after punch until he started to growl and let his animal side take over (as indicated by the subtle change in his eyes). The crocodilian then began to swing punches wildly without planning or thought put into them.
But miraculously, he managed to grab hold on the both of them and slam their bodies together until they were knocked out for the count. Electricity then began to spark as they turned visible.
"Suffusive to say, I'm glad I brought you along Leatherhead," Don said as he picked up the torch he dropped when he got punched, "Let's move."
And the group began walking towards one end of the room.
-Oroku Saki's Headquarters: Launch Pad-
Another door was ripped from its hinges as Team 3 stepped into another room (painted orange). Don and Leatherhead gasped as they looked up and saw something they couldn't believe was there.
There, standing tall and proud was a starship prepped and ready for launch into space.
"Uh, guys," Don called out to the others on his headset, "we're under the Shredder's mansion and you know that really big thing that the Shredder is up to, I think I just found it."
"It's...it's...it's a starship of some kind," said Leatherhead.
-With Team 1-
"Shredder has a starship?" Leo asked in disbelief.
"It appears he has finally found a way to leave this planet," said Splinter.
"And that's not a good thing?" Leo asked.
"He will bring his evil to other worlds," Splinter answered as he and Leo began to carefully scale the building, "he will attack our friends the Utroms, millions will die at his hands."
"We'll just have to cancel his flight," Leo said as he spoke into his headset, "how're we doing guys?"
-With Mikey and Raph (Who are presumably Team 4)-
The two brothers were currently crawling across a ceiling in a hallway as Mikey answered, "This is Team...uh." He drew a blank and whispered to Raph, "Are we Team 3 or 4?"
Raph just growled in slight annoyance as he smacked his brother upside his head.
"Ow," Mikey groaned in pain as Raph spoke into the headset.
"We're in," he said as he gazed below to the various Foot Ninja, Foot Tech Ninja and two of the Shredder's elite guard, "and the place is crawlin' with Foot creeps."
"Understood," Leo replied, "Team 3, commence with Operation Lockdown."
-With Team 3-
Don plugged in his Palm Top in a nearby control center and said, "You heard him professor, close sesame."
-Oroku Saki's Main Office-
Oroku Saki and Karai were busily looking at some blue-prints that were laid across a desk.
"Dr. Chaplin reports that all starship systems are nominal," said Karai, "congratulations, tonight will be your last night on Earth."
Saki rubbed his hands back and forth and smiled a most sinister smile as he said, "After centuries of being imprisoned on this primitive goddamn back water planet, I will finally return to the stars. When my Utrom enemies return to imprison me, I will be gone and when they least expect it, I will be at their throats seeing the life leave from their eyes."
Karai's facial expression saddened slightly as she asked, "And what of me...father?"
"Karai," Saki said in a fatherly tone, "my time here was not a total loss. I have foraged a powerful dynasty with the Foot and I have raised a daughter to rule that dynasty until my return."
His expression then hardened as he gently caressed Karai's face as he continued, "You will serve me as you have always served me, faithfully and without question." His expression then became soft and calm again as he said, "Now see to our guests, this is a celebration, not a wake."
Karai bowed as she replied, "Yes master." And she walked away as Saki returned to look over the blue-prints.
-Apartment Rooftop across from Saki's Headquarters-
"This is completely unacceptable," Bishop said angrily into his wrist communicator screen, "why didn't you tell us Oroku Saki has a starship?!"
"You didn't ask," Baxter Stockman replied with a smug smirk.
-Oroku Saki's Headquarters: Stockman's chamber-
Stockman stood in front of a computer monitor as he watched Bishop become even more annoyed.
"Being a sarcastic smart-ass is no way to build a working relationship with me Stockman," Bishop snarled.
"Relax Agent Bishop," Stockman said coolly, "we have a deal: I'll keep my end of the bargain as long as you keep yours."
Just then the door to his chamber opened and Dr. Chaplin walked in with some papers in his hands.
"Must go," Stockman whispered, "bye now."
And he turned the computer monitor off.
-Oroku Saki's Headquarters: The Security Room-
Hun had become worried as he looked at a 3-D holographic map of the compound which was currently flashing red at the guest entrance.
"I don't like this one damn bit," he said, "where's the guard at the front gate?"
He then turned to a henchman and said, "Go send someone to check it out."
"Sir," the henchman replied as he bowed and left.
"Sir," said another henchman near a computer monitor, grabbing Hun's attention, "There's a glitch in the system. Something's going on, but I don't know what it is."
"Well find out," Hun commanded with a nervous and worrisome expression on his face, "The master can't have anything go wrong, not tonight."
-With Team 3-
"Alright," said Professor Honeycutt, "taking complete control of the system. Commencing internal lockdown...now."
Just then, all over the complex, steel doors were closing off various entrances and exits
-The Security Room-
Alarms blared as red lights began flashing.
"What the?!" Hun asked with a mixture of fear and alarm, "Who the hell ordered a lockdown?!"
-With Bishop-
As Bishop and his henchmen walked around the tunnel with railroad tracks, he commanded to his henchmen, "I don't know what Saki's up to, and I don't care. Rig this tunnel for detonation; I don't want to allow Saki any chance to move his ship."
-Oroku Saki's Main Office-
Saki stood over the blue-prints as he studied them and waited patiently for whatever was to come next.
"Planning a little trip?" said a voice behind him.
Saki turned around slowly and calmly as he saw that Raph and Mikey were standing behind him with their weapons drawn.
"A little outer space trip perhaps?" Mikey asked.
Saki replied with silence and a stoic expression.
"Not if we have anything to say about it," said Leo as he and Splinter leapt down from above and landed behind Saki.
"Your evil ends here and now Shredder!" Splinter exclaimed as he and Leo pulled out their respective weapons.
Splinter then fired off an arrow aimed directly at Saki's face. Saki growled as he caught it with one hand and snapped it in two.
"I shall relish in killing all six of-GAH!" He was interrupted mid-sentence as Raph and Mikey punched his head which caused him to temporarily lose his balance. Leo then came rushing in with his Katanas but Saki blocked both blades with his left arm. Leo then quickly kicked him into his desk, breaking it in two, but Saki never missed a beat as he quickly got up and began dodging Mikey's swinging Nun-chucks.
He then grabbed Mikey by his leg and tossed him aside but Raph quickly tackled him into a wall where his hands were then pinned to said wall by the turtle's two Sais. Splinter then fired off several arrows which pinned Saki's shoulders and legs. Saki then screamed in anger as he forcibly freed himself from his makeshift prison.
-With Bishop-
As Bishop entered the underground launch pad, he could not help but admire at the technological marvel that stood before him.
"This starship," he said, "It's...it's...it's unbelievable. How in the hell could Saki have-?"
He was presently interrupted by a henchman who exclaimed, "Sir, tunnel wired for demolition, sir!"
"Then blow it," Bishop commanded, "I'm not letting this ship slip through my fingers."
The henchman nodded as he pulled out a remote control and pressed a button. Multiple explosions then went off one after the next, after the next, after the next. The resulting shockwaves caused the headquarters to rumble and shake from side to side.
-The Outdoor Courtyard-
Meanwhile on the outside, the party goers felt the massive rumbling beneath their feet as they began to slightly panic.
Over at the head table, the mayor became apprehensive.
"What was that?" he asked. Karai then got up from her seat and called over a henchman. She then whispered a command in his ear as he nodded and went away to carry out the order he was given.
"Ms. Saki, are you sure everything is alright?" the mayor asked. Karai then proceeded to speak to both the mayor and the crowd.
"Mr. Mayor, honored guests, please do not be alarmed," she said as she directed everyone's attention towards the night sky. Everyone looked up and saw, to their amazement and wonder, fireworks of every shape, size, and color exploding and lighting up the night air. Soon the panic the crowd was emitting instantly vanished as they looked on with warm smiles.
"This is just my father's way of saying 'Thank you' and 'Farewell'," said Karai.
-The Underground Launch Pad-
Inside the starship, Dr. Chaplin was at the starships' controls in the bridge.
"Oh no, oh no, oh no!" he panicked, "those damn commandoes have collapsed the transport tunnel." He then looked out a window and saw several of Bishop's men arm themselves as they began to swarm in and surround the starship.
He then pressed several buttons in front of him as he said, "I've gotta tell the boss."
-With Oroku Saki-
As Saki was busy fending off the relentless attacks, his wrist communicator began to alert him to Dr. Chaplin.
"Mr. Saki, it's that Bishop guy. He and his men blew up the transport tunnel," said Dr. Chaplin, "there's no way we're moving the starship to the river.
Before Saki could even utter a reply, he first blocked two strikes from Leo that tore away at some of his clothes. Then he kicked Splinter and threw Mikey into Raph. However, the heroes kept up their attacks and encircled him. Saki growled, hating his predicament.
"Bishop, here?!" he said angrily as he was knocked down again, "Then that changes everything!" And he gave a mighty yell as he punched and kicked his four opponents into some book shelves, leaving very big dents in both the shelves and the walls behind them.
Just then Hun came rushing into the office with some Foot Ninja and the Foot Elite.
"Protect the master!" he commanded.
"Hun," Saki commanded, "Control the situation; I need to get my ship to safety." He then pulled out a remote and pressed a button, which then opened up the entrance to his secret elevator.
"He's making a break for it," said Leo.
"Get him," said Raph. But before they could, their path was blocked by Foot Ninjas wielding swords.
Meanwhile as Oroku Saki was going down the elevator, he called out to Dr. Chaplin.
"Chaplin, prepare the ship," he said, "We must launch immediately."
"But Mr. Saki," Dr. Chaplin protested, "We can't move the ship; they destroyed the transport tunnel!"
"I know that you damn fool!" Saki retorted, "Commence the emergency launch sequence."
"But-but-but all those people on the emergency silo doors," Dr. Chaplin said with worry.
"Do it Chaplin, now!" Saki snarled.
"...Opening emergency launch doors," Dr. Chaplin said with a hint of reluctance.
-The Outdoor Courtyard-
As the last of the fireworks dissipated into the night sky, the relaxed atmosphere had just about returned to normal. However, that peace was now about to he shattered a second time as the floor beneath the party goers' feet began to shake and rumble before massively splitting in two halves. The people now began to panic and scream in terror as they tried to avoid falling in.
April and Naruto (who had dropped his Menma disguise) held on to each other. They then turned their heads to talk face to face.
"Looks like we're gonna have to get these people out of here to safety," said Naruto.
"Took the words right out of my mouth," April replied.
And they split up just as various the tables and chairs around them began falling in.
Meanwhile down below in the launch pad, one of Bishop's henchmen went up to the man himself.
"Sir looks like Saki's trying an emergency launch," he said.
"What?!" Bishop asked incredulously, "How can-."
He stopped mid-sentence so as to avoid a falling table. Bishop then looked up and saw the silo opening up.
He then growled as he said, "Bring in strike force Bravo, shut this whole place down!"
Outside, two black attack helicopters swarmed towards the headquarter complex.
"This is Bravo 1: roger that commander, nothing goes up, nothing gets out."
Just then a squad of motorcycles came rushing in the guest entrance.
"This is Bravo 2: we have control of the ground commander."
-The Launch Pad Control Room-
As Saki exited his secret elevator, he quickly saw that Leatherhead was making short work of his henchmen that were stationed down there.
"What?!" he exclaimed. Just then, Don came leaping in with his Bo Staff in hand.
As he dealt blows (to which Saki blocked) he said with a smirk, "Thought you might try the back door, which is why we're here."
-Oroku Saki's Main Office-
Raph forcibly pried open the secret elevator entrance just as knocked the Foot Elite towards Hun. Taking advantage of the momentary confusion, Raph managed to tear open the doors and leap down the elevator shaft with his brothers and Splinter in tow.
"Rrrr, after them!" Hun snarled, "Stop them at all costs!" The Foot Elite quickly leapt down the hole with him right behind them.
-The Outside Courtyard-
In the ensuing chaos, Karai had managed to find the outside secret elevator that would lead her directly to the launch pad. Before she stepped in, however, she was stopped by Casey.
"Karai wait, I'm not gonna let ya do this," he said.
"Mr. Jones, please let me go; my father is finally about to leave our world," she protested.
"And what about you, are you gonna help him enslave all the little pink dudes the guys keep talkin' about?" he asked.
"The Utroms have hunted down my father all his life, they are heartless monsters," she said.
"Karai, you know that ain't true," Casey protested, "he's the heartless monster and I'm not gonna let you walk down that path."
"Mr. Jones, please let me go," Karai pleaded. Casey looked at her solemnly. Just when it seemed as if Karai would have to say something again, Casey pulled her in and gave her a very heated and passionate kiss.
He then let her go and turned around as he said, "No matter what happens, no matter what you end up doing with yourself, just know that I'll always love ya until the day I die."
And he ran off to help more people to safety while Karai just shut her eyes in slight emotional anguish as she went down the elevator.
-The Launch Pad Control Room-
"There's no way we're letting you on that starship Shredder!" Don exclaimed as he and Leatherhead prepared to fight Oroku Saki.
Saki, on the other hand, simply replied, "The two of you cannot stop me."
Presently he heard a noise behind him, which prompted him to turn around and see that Leo, Mikey, Raph and Splinter had their weapons drawn.
"Together we will stop you!" Splinter proclaimed. However, just a ways away, the Foot Elite and Hun poured in from the secret elevator entrance.
"Step away from the master, now," Hun growled in a warning tone of voice.
Suddenly the doors leading to the launch pad were blown away by an explosive as Bishop and his men rushed in.
"Well, well, well," Bishop said in a smug voice, "isn't this cozy." He then focused his attention towards his men as he commanded, "On my mark, be ready to paint this room with their blood."
Everyone became tense.
"Open fire!" Bishop shouted and in a millisecond, the entire room became rained upon by continuous laser blasts.
The heroes and villains, in that instant, split up and took cover wherever they could find it.
Meanwhile, while the ensuing chaos was happening, on the side where the launch pad entrance was located, a panel in the wall opened up and Karai stepped out, unnoticed by Bishop and his men.
At the same time in a part of the room that had the most cover from the laser blasts, Splinter and Saki stood in fighting positions.
"Shredder, you cannot be allowed to return to the stars, to wreak havoc on other planets, or to revenge yourself upon the Utrom Homeworld," said Splinter.
Oroku Saki's eyes narrowed in anger. "How do you know of this?" he demanded to know.
"My father, Master Yoshi, was a guardian," Splinter answered, "he protected the Utroms, he forbids your journey, and in his name: I will not allow you passage!"
Just then Raph came leaping in from out of nowhere as he stabbed Saki in the back with his Sais.
Mikey then leapt in and was about to take a swing at Saki with his Nun-chucks when Hun came running in.
"NOOOOOOO!" he shouted as he knocked everyone away, "Go master, get to the ship!"
Saki then raced towards Karai as fast as he could. At the same time, Karai punched and kicked away some of Bishop's men so as to make a clear path for the escaping Saki while she went toward the starship entrance platform.
However, Leatherhead took the opportunity to take a few swings at Saki's (now than ever more exposed) robot body.
Hun, who was busy throwing Leo off his back, noticed the dire situation and said, "I'm coming master!"
Catching the crocodilian off guard, Hun tackled him into a cylindrical container full of clear orange fluid. He then went to help up Oroku Saki, he gasped when he saw that Saki was now missing half of his face.
"Sir," Hun said in an unsure tone of voice as he ripped off the last of Saki's clothes where he then laid eyes upon the evil red Utrom. His eyes were as wide as dinner plates.
"Sir...I...you're," he stuttered, unsure of what to make of this recent discovery, "You're an Utrom?"
Before he could hear a reply, he was tackled though a window by Leatherhead, where they then fell into a chasm that seemingly had no bottom.
"CRAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPP!" Hun yelled as they both fell.
The evil Utrom then piloted his Exo-suit onto the starship entrance platform where he found Karai waiting for him. But just as he took the first few steps, Don came running in, carrying a canister of sorts.
"Oh no, you don't," he said, "You're not going anywhere Shredder."
As he was saying all this, he quickly laid the canister down with the top knob facing the retreating evil Utrom. He then popped off the handle and sprayed its liquid contents all over the Exo-suit.
"A little liquid nitrogen should slow you down," Don said. The Exo-suit slowly became frozen in place as the evil Utrom struggled to move forward. He then quickly gave up as he decided to free himself from the abdomen cavity and scuttled away (at an alarming speed I might add) towards Karai's arms as she shut the door. Inside, she pressed a button and spoke to a speaker.
"Chaplin, we are leaving," she said.
-The Starship: The Bridge-
Up in the bridge, Dr. Chaplin proceeded to fire up the rockets that would launch them into space.
"All systems go; count down already in progress," he said, "This is gonna get sketchy."
-The Launch Pad Entrance Platform-
Don was busy trying to hotwire the door open as Leo, Raph, Mikey, and Splinter had joined him.
"Professor, you have to open this door," Don said as he plugged in his Palm Top.
"I'm on it Donatello," said Professor Honeycutt.
Meanwhile in the launch pad control room, Bishop slammed the last two heads of the Foot Elite into each other as he ran up toward the broken window.
"Goddamn it, Saki's not going to get away," he exclaimed angrily, "I want that starship. Bravo team: disable the ship! Do not let it take off!"
The two helicopters above aimed and primed their missiles.
"Roger that, fire in the hole."
At the same time, out on the entrance platform, the professor had successfully opened the door.
"Way to go professor," Don said with gratitude in his voice as he unplugged his Palm Top.
Just then the two attack helicopters fired their missiles directly into the launch pad.
"Incoming!" Mikey shouted as the entire gang leapt out of the way of a missile aimed at the platform. Don, with some degree of difficulty, managed to leap into the entrance. Now it was up to the others to do the same as the missiles continued to bombard the launch pad.
While all this was happening, a computerized voice began a count down.

Up in the bridge, Dr. Chaplin pushed a button.
"Ignition!" he exclaimed.
The starship rumbled as it slowly began pushing its thrust against the Earth's gravity.
"Uh fellas?" Don called out.
"We're going to have to jump," Leo shouted.
"C'mon!" Raph shouted as he and the others took a running start and made a jump for it.
They had barely made it as Leonardo grabbed the edge of the entrance as Michelangelo, Raphael and Splinter made a daisy-chain by grabbing legs. Donatello then pulled them in with all his might just as the door closed.
Meanwhile on the outside courtyard, Naruto and April were back together after they had gotten the last of the party goers to safety. They then looked over in the direction of the silo opening and saw that the starship was a quarter of the way out already.
Naruto then tore off the suit he had worn (and subsequently revealed that he was wearing his regular clothes underneath) and said to April, "They need me."
April began to protest, "But Naruto-*mmpf*." She was silenced when Naruto kissed her.
And they both kept kissing and kissing until the need for air came. As they pulled away, Naruto gave a sad but reassuring smile as he ran towards the starship and began climbing it with his chakra-enhanced hands and feet. He then found a ventilation shaft and forced the entrance open. He then quickly scrambled inside just as it sealed shut.
Back on the ground, April (who had witnessed what Naruto had done) looked at the starship with worry as she whispered, "Naruto...please come back."
And she held a hand over her chest in the spot where her heart was before resting it on there. "Promise me," she whispered.
Meanwhile, Bishop looked up above at the space craft that was now slipping through his fingers. He then put on a headset and spoke into it, "This is Bishop to all tracking outposts: begin tracking that damn starship. If I can't have it, then neither can Saki."
Just then the starship began screaming across the New York City sky as it climbed higher and higher into the thinning atmosphere.
-With Leo, Raph, Mikey, Don and Splinter-
The group of five was being pressed down to the floor to the point where it was hard to even blink an eye lid. Just when it felt like their bones were ready to break, the artificial gravity was established. They all groaned as they got up from their uncomfortable positions.
"Well that's better," said Leo.
Don then walked over to a control panel and pushed a button. This promptly opened up the door in front of them.
"C'mon," Raph said, "Let's go pay our respect to the Shredder."
"But what about Naruto?" Mikey asked.
"Already on it," said Don as he spoke into his headset, "Naruto, can you hear us?"
His only reply was static.
"It figures," said Don, "Shredder must have outfitted his ship to jam any communication signal that isn't his own."
"Don't worry, with or without a radio, Naruto'll come," said Leo, "But right now we have to take care of business."
The others nodded in agreement as they went further into the ship.
-With Naruto-
After enduring the little spell of heavy gravity, as soon as the artificial gravity kicked in, Naruto exited the ventilation shaft and ended up in a hall way. He then spoke into his headset.
"Don? Leo? Master Splinter, can you hear me?"
His only reply was static.
"Well that figures," he said, "guess I got to figure out what my next move is going to be."
He looked around in his surroundings for a bit before he fiddled with a thought that entered his mind.
"The Shredder wants to go into space and this thing the key to getting there. So how do we stop it?"
He then pondered some more before groaning in a frustrated and defeated manner, "Ugh, this would be so much easier if I was talking to Don. To him, it'd be as easy as finding the 'Off' switch."
He then had an epiphany, "Wait a minute, the 'Off' switch." He then looked up at the lights that were illuminating the hallway he was in. A smile then spread across his face as he had a 'Eureka' moment.
"Of course, an 'Off' switch turns off the power to anything. All I gotta do is find what gives this ship its power," he said, "And I'm more than sure that it has to be the power core or something."
He then looked at the hallway behind himself and in front of himself before deciding to go down the hallway in front of him.
"And if I know them, and I do," he said, "They'll probably be going there too."
-With Leo, Raph, Mikey, Don and Splinter-
And he was right. At the same time he had reached his conclusion, Splinter stopped in his tracks in order to reach theirs.
"Wait my sons, we must rethink our priorities," Splinter said, "this vessel represents the real threat. To allow the Shredder such mobility will put millions of lives in danger."
"Before we boarded," said Professor Honeycutt, "I sent urgent messages of warning to the Utroms, but I received no response. If what you said about this starship is true Donatello, then I will not be sure if my messages got through."
"The Shredder must not return to the stars," said Splinter, "we must gain control of this starship."
The brothers nodded as Don said, "And I think I know how, follow me."
And they all followed him down a hallway
-The Starship Bridge-
Dr. Chaplin was busy configuring the ship for space travel when he looked at a security video monitor and saw the four turtles and Splinter head down a hallway. He quickly pushed a couple of more buttons and saw Naruto running down a different hallway. He then opened up two-way communication between him and the evil Utrom.
"Mr. Saki, first of all, let me just say that I think it's wicked cool that you're actually a squishy alien blob. It's just so goddamn unbelievable. And secondly, you should know that, um, well, apparently all six of your enemies have kinda hitched a ride."
-With Karai and the Evil Red Utrom-
As the two listened to Dr. Chaplin's status report, the entered a room that held a new Shredder body for the evil Utrom. It was dark blue, was twice as large as the evil Utrom's standard Shredder body, had four arms (two large ones and two small ones), had an open abdominal cavity, and had the appearance of being more muscular than Hun.
As Karai placed the evil Utrom in his new suit, the Utrom's expression was that of disbelief.
"What, those damn freaks are on board my ship?!" the Utrom asked in shock. His expression then changed to that of angered determination.
"I will deal with them personally," he snarled as he activated the suit, "I will not allow them to further interfere with my plans."
"What are our plans now my lord," Karai asked as she put on additional armor as well as the Shredder's helmeted and metal face-plate covered face, "we were forced to launch early. Much of your equipment, your Foot Ninja, your elite forces, all were left behind."
As Karai fetched his clawed wrist-gauntlet and his clawed glove, the Shredder answered, "Yes, it is not as I had intended, but it will not stop me. I have allies on Tenella 5 waiting for my return and it will be easy to find mercenaries willing to join me in pillaging the galaxy. I will build a new army, and ultimately return to the Utrom Homeworld where vengeance shall be mine!"
Karai said nothing as she went behind a door. After a few moments had passed, she emerged in her battle gear.
-New York City Night Sky-
A black twin-bladed helicopter thundered across the city's sky line. Inside, Bishop was busy readying his forces to stop the Shredder's starship.
"Agent Bishop," said a henchman at a control console, "The Atlantic E.P.F. System has locked on to Saki's starship."
"Fire at will," Bishop commanded. The henchman nodded as he flipped some switches and looked at the monitor. At that exact moment, the monitor showed a video feed of a seemingly abandoned island covered in vegetation and forest growth. Just then a cliff face opened up to reveal a hidden weapons cache full of missiles. The missiles then shot up into the sky and rocketed towards the Shredder's starship.
-The Starship Bridge-
As the incoming missiles came closer, red lights flashed and alarms began to blare. Dr. Chaplin took a look at the monitor in front of him as he contacted the Shredder.
"Mr. Saki, another wrinkle; multiple rim-fired missiles are on approach," he said.
"What?!" asked the Shredder.
"It's showing at least 8 hostiles on an intercept course, but no worries,"said Dr. Chaplin, "we have Dr. Stockman's ingenious defense system on the job."
And he pressed a button which activated the aforementioned system. The starship then emitted a solid red laser ring that proceeded to fire a beam that destroyed all but one of the missiles instantly.
But just before the last missile could be destroyed, a cartoon-ish image of Stockman appeared on the laser defense targeting monitor.
"Ah, ah, ah," it said, "you didn't say 'May I?'."
And the image repeated the message over and over again.
Dr. Chaplin was horrified. "No way," he said, "Mr. Saki, our defense grid just went offline!"
The remaining missile exploded on impact as it hit the ship's rear. The ship immediately started shaking violently.
-With Bishop-
Inside the helicopter, Stockman stood behind Bishop as the henchman at the control console observed where the missile hit.
"Their defenses are down," he said.
Bishop turned his attention towards Stockman and said, "Thank you Dr. Stockman."
"Oh believe me Agent Bishop, it was my pleasure," Stockman replied with a sinister tone.
"Launch all remaining missiles," Bishop commanded, "Blow that ship out of the sky."
The henchman nodded as he flipped some more switches and launched all the remaining missiles.
-The Starship Bridge-
Dr. Chaplin panicked as he saw the incoming missiles screaming towards them.
"We've got more of those missile incoming Mr. Saki!" he exclaimed as he furiously typed away at a keyboard, "I'm going to try and bypass Dr. Stockman's control codes."
-With the Shredder and Karai-
Dr. Chaplin continued to relay his intended plans, "With any luck, I should be able to override the block manually so I can-."
"Dr. Chaplin enough!" Shredder growled as he and Karai stepped out into a hallway, "Take care of it. Just tell me where my enemies are."
"They're trying to gain access to the power core sir," Dr. Chaplin replied.
-With Naruto-
As Naruto ran down a hallway, he saw up ahead a door to his left. He skidded to a stop and stood in front of it.
"Alright, let's see what's behind this door," he said as he forcibly pried it apart.
He then immediately saw that the room was not lighted thoroughly for some odd reason. He took out a kunai knife and cautiously stepped inside. Just as he was halfway inside (and subsequently deciding to turn around, seeing that what he was looking for was not here), the room became fully illuminated and revealed that it was filled with about 20 giant dark-blue colored Amazonian Blade Bots (that were, once again, created in Karai's likeness).
And they were all alerted to his presence.
"Well then," he said as the robots took out various bladed weapons while he formed a group of shadow clones, "you're definitely caught in-between a rock and a hard place aren't you Naruto."
He then looked to his clones, "Anything flashy and there won't be enough time to get everyone off."
"Right."
-With Leo, Raph, Mikey, Don and Splinter-
At the same time Naruto found himself in a predicament, his ninja siblings and adoptive father walked into the room that held the ship's power core.
"Whoa," Don said in a slightly impressed tone as they all gazed at the object which glowed a bright blue light, "I hate to say it, but impressive."
"Professor Honeycutt?" Leo asked.
The professor chimed in, "Yes I'm here. Just plug me into any maintenance input and I should be able to take control of the ship."
Don nodded as he walked up to a control console that was directly in front of the power core. He searched for a bit before finally finding an access port where he could directly insert his Palm Top to allow the professor easy entry.
While this was all happening, Mikey decided try and lighten the mood.
He smiled a joking sort of smile as he said, "Y'know, we can make this the emergency bridge."
He then began to imitate William Shatner's performance as Captain Kirk, "Spock..to..the..emergency bridge. Scotty...we..need more POWER!"
He then looked at his family, who all gave him looks of annoyances.
"Heh, heh," Mikey chuckled nervously, "sorry."
Professor Honeycutt then spoke up, "Gentlemen, in about four minutes I shall have complete control-."
He never got to finish his sentence, for at that moment the door to the power core opened which caused everyone to look and see who would be greeting them.
Unfortunately, there standing on the other side of the door was the Shredder and Karai.
"We don't have four minutes," said Leo as he and everyone else took out their respective weapons.
However, Splinter did not take out his bow, instead he growled (in anger), "Shredder." And he took out a sword he had strapped to his back. "May my Master Yoshi's sword taste vengeance today."
And the two opponents yelled out a battle cry as they charged towards one another. The Shredder attacked using all four of his arms one after the next, after the next; but since Splinter was smaller, he had a slight advantage in speed as he nimbly dodged all of the Shredder's attacks. The rat then tried to slash the center of the Shredder's body, but the Shredder managed to block his sword.
"You made a grave mistake following me here rodent," said the Shredder before being surrounded by the four turtles. The Shredder growled as he attacked all four simultaneously who in turn all leapt out of the way. Don then attacked with his Bo Staff but the Shredder blocked it and brought down his upper-right arm to attempt to slice up Don's head, only to be prevented from doing so by Leo who pushed him away using one of his Katanas.
As the Shredder stumbled for a bit, Mikey tried bringing him down on one knee using his Nun-Chucks. He managed to do so, but the Shredder grabbed him and threw him into Raph, who had leapt up in the air to try and stab the Shredder's back with his Sais. Splinter then leapt up in the air and tried to slice off one of the Shredder's arms, but the Shredder caught the blade and tossed the rat aside.
The Shredder then stood up and immediately prepared to defend himself from Mikey and Raph's simultaneous attack. He would have defended himself were it not for Karai's timely intervention. He then tossed the two brothers over a rail just as the starship was racked by another wave of explosions.
-The Starship Bridge-
Dr. Chaplin was still trying to bypass Stockman's control over the ship's defense system as more missiles hit the ship.
-With Naruto-
As Naruto and his clones managed to bring down a fifth Amazonian Blade Bot (not an easy feat when you can't even form a Rasengan), the multiple explosions rocked him side to side.
-The Power Core Room-
The battle was temporarily on hold as the two opposing forces steadied themselves from each explosion.
Raph and Mikey managed to get themselves back to the battle field (so to speak) just as a support beam carrying several cables came down and split open an electric cable. Don, seeing the cable emitting a constant stream of electricity, had an idea. He grabbed the cable like a fire hose and ran up to the Shredder. Mikey, seeing what Don was doing, grabbed the other end of the cable and proceeded to do the exact same thing.
"Shredder!" Mikey exclaimed as he and Don both went, "HIYAH!"
However, the Shredder did not go down so easily as he picked up Mikey and threw him aside (but not before breaking his legs and knocking him out in the process) while kicking Don to the ground (and also breaking some bones in his arm and knocking him out in the process). He then picked up both electrical cables as he towered over Mikey and brought them down.
Splinter, noticing what was about to happen, rushed in to protect his son.
"Michelangelo, move!" he shouted as he pushed his son out of the way and took the electrical blow.
"AAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" Splinter screamed in pain as his fur and body became charred from the electric burns.
-With Naruto-
Naruto and his clones were fighting the last three Amazonian Blade Bots (Naruto himself is slightly bruised and battered while his orange robe and black pants were slightly torn and nicked here and there). As he and his clones held the bots' Katana blades at bay using Kunai Knives, they all felt a twinge of something that they themselves couldn't explain. What they did know was that this twinge urged them to finish the fight. Naruto and his clones looked amongst each other and nodded as they all leapt away to gain distance from the Blade Bots.
Wasting no time, they each quickly formed a fairly large Rasengan in the palms of their right hands.
"Alright," said Naruto, "here we go: Everywhere Rasengan!"
He and he clones then rushed in altogether with their palms out in front of them. The giant robots prepared to strike them down all at once when half of the clones body flickered right behind them. By the time the robot noticed the attack from behind, it was too late. Every Rasengan made contact with the robots, disintegrating them in an instant.
Naruto started panting a bit as he held himself up by placing his hands on his knees.
"*Pant* *pant* Good job guys," he panted as he dispelled his clones.
Just as he did, however, he felt the same twinge but this time, as his eyes widened in panicked revelation, he knew what it meant as he ran out of the room and into the hallway.
'Please let me be there on time,' he thought with a pleading tone.
-The Power Core Room-
As the Shredder continued to electrocute Splinter, Leo shouted in horror, "Master Splinter!"
He then rushed in to stop the Shredder but was blocked by Karai as they both clashed swords. They then continued to exchange blows as Leo slowly but surely crept her towards a railing.
As they held each other at bay for a second time, Karai said, "My master is leaving, it did not have to be this way."
Just then, another wave of missiles hit the ship and the explosions caused Karai to lose her balance and fall over the railing. However, Leo managed to grab her arm and catch her just in time.
As he pulled her up, she said, "You are too kind Leonardo." She then kicked him to the ground and attempted to cut him down to size as he fended off her blow and went into a saber lock with her.
"Much too kind," she said.
Leo then leapt away to gain some distance, but the Shredder (who was right behind him) had other plans. After deciding he had electrocuted Splinter long enough, he ran up behind Leo and sent him flying towards Karai with a kick. Leo could do nothing to stop his momentum as Karai raised her sword and stabbed him in his abdomen. Blood slowly trickled down her blade and onto the floor as Leo stood there in shock. His body then went limp and he dropped his Katanas as Karai slid him off her blade.
Raph, who had witnessed the whole thing, shouted in anguish, "LEO, NOOOOOOOOOOO!"
He then looked around and saw he was the last one standing as he growled in extreme anger and rushed towards Karai while shouting, "KARAI!"
And he attacked with relentless force, never giving his opponent and opportunity to breathe as he threw punches and tried stabbing her with his Sais. As she leapt behind him, he quickly kicked her away and knocked her weapon out of his hand. He then charged in and punched and kicked her relentlessly as he brought her closer and closer to a railing.
Before he could deliver the final blow, however, the Shredder decided to intervene and grab him by his neck. The Shredder then got onto one knee, held Raph by his wrists and ankles and slammed him on his back several times before knocking him out and tossing him towards Leo.
-The Starship Bridge-
The cartoonish image of Stockman continued to mock Dr. Chaplin as the first of three missiles that were following the ship hit it.
Dr. Chaplin growled in frustration as he said, "Damn it, we're so dead."
At that exact moment, luck seemed to be on the starship's side as it flew out of the missiles' ranges. The red lights then stopped flashing and the alarms died down. Dr. Chaplin was pleasantly surprised.
"What?" he said as he viewed a monitor and smiled a most victorious smile, "Yes, we're out of range! We made it! Next stop: the rendezvous on Tenella 5!"
And the starship began making its way past the moon.
-With Bishop-
As Bishop's henchman viewed the monitor in front of him, he said, "Sir, the ship has flown out of range. None of our missiles can get him now."
Bishop growled. "Then we've lost," he said.
-The Power Core Room-
The Shredder was alerted to Professor Honeycutt's presence as the robot said, "One minute until I have control."
The Shredder walked over to Don's Palm Top as he growled and said, "Meddlesome machine." And he swatted the Palm Top out of the control console.
He then walked over towards Leo's body, picked it up, and prepared to stab him with his claws as he said, "It is time to finish this." And he raised his upper-right arm.
What he didn't count on was Karai's intervention as she stopped his attack with her sword.
"How dare you," he growled at her defiance.
"You have defeated them my lord," she simply replied, "Leave them in their dishonor."
"Karai," the Shredder said in a warning tone, "You go too FAR!" And he knocked the wind out of her before punching her to the ground and kicking her away (knocking her out in the process). He then set down Leo's body as he walked over to her.
"You dishonor me with your insolence," he said as he towered over her, "And for that, you and your lover will die!"
And he raised his upper-right arm to deliver the killing blow.
However, he sensed a presence behind him and stopped his attack. He turned around and saw Naruto standing in the doorway. His face was a hardened mixture of both hopeless guilt and rage. His teeth were gritting in anger as sad tears flowed from his eyes and formed multiple streams down his face. He looked at his brothers before looking at his adoptive father, who was now charred and burned in over 85% of his body.
"You...bastard," he said, barely containing his rage.
The Shredder chuckled evilly. "Ha ha ha ha ha, you still are just a child. Tell me boy, is this the first time you have witnessed a situation such as this, knowing you were too late to stop it," he taunted.
Naruto continued to stand where he was as red chakra began to envelop him in a bubbly layer, forming some sort of shape over him.
The Shredder walked over to him while saying, "A warrior such as yourself should never cry, but I am more than happy to put you out of your misery."
And he raised his upper-left arm and prepared to cut Naruto down to size. Just then, Naruto outstretched his left arm and held the Shredder at bay without so much as a struggle.
"What?!" the Shredder said in shock. But before he could retaliate, Naruto pushed him away. The Shredder closed his eyes and grunted as he skidded to a stop. He opened his eyes and widened them as he saw that Naruto was now standing in front of him, having moved from the doorway in the blink of an eye.
He also saw that his appearance changed, now Naruto was sporting thicker whisker marks, red eyes with silted pupils, elongated canine teeth, finger nails that were now shaped like claws, and to top it off, the red chakra cloak had completely enveloped him and gave him some fox shaped ears on top of his head and a tail.
"What in the hell are you boy?!" the Shredder demanded to know. Naruto said nothing as he grabbed the Shredder's upper-right arm, crushed it at the elbow joint and ripped it off.
"GAAAAHHHHH!" screamed the Shredder as he attacked Naruto, "DAMN YOU!"
And he tried hard to cut Naruto into pieces, but Naruto was moving too fast and too swift for the Shredder to even hope to cut him. Naruto then punched the Shredder's abdomen to the point where it began to crack. Then he body flickered behind the Shredder, picked him up and threw him out of the power core room and into the hallway, sending him crashing through several walls and doorways.
Naruto then got on his knees and held his head in his hands as he cried some more.
"GAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH!" he cried in anguish and agony. He then slowly became silent as the red chakra cloak slowly faded away, returning his entire body back to its normal state. He wiped away the tears, got up from his position and walked over to Leo's body. He stared at him in complete silence with his eyes closed. Suddenly they snapped open when he thought he heard a very faint groan. He quickly got down on his knees and held his head over his brother's body. He then made a fast and joyful realization.
"You're alive," he whispered as he looked over everyone else, "You're all still alive; I'm not too late."
Carefully but quickly, he moved his brothers and adoptive-father's bodies close together in a neat and organized pile.
"Man," he said as he carried Don's body, "You all gotta lay off the pizza."
As he set it down, he glanced over at Karai's knocked out body. He walked over to it.
"I shouldn't be doing this; everything that you've done up until now should stop me right now, and I'm more than sure you're the one who stabbed Leo."
He towered over her.
"But Casey says there's some good in you and you just don't know it. And I guess you sort of proved him right when you stopped the Shredder."
And he bent down.
"I don't know what that man has seen, but if he's willing to give you a second chance, then I'm willing to put all my faith in him."
And he picked up her body and put it right with the others.
"Okay Naruto, think carefully here. The ship is about to travel into deep space and you had a power core sitting right in front of you. What's the next move?"
He stared at the power core until an idea floated in his head.
Then he walked over to Don's Palm Top and picked it up as he said, "Professor Honeycutt, are you there?"
The screen flickered as the professor's robotic head came into view. "Yes Naruto, I am still here."
"Professor, if I plug you into this control console, do you think you'll be able to overload the power core?" Naruto asked.
"I could," the professor answered, "but that would cause an explosion of great magnitude."
The professor then saw Naruto give a sad smile and said, "Oh, I see. If the situation is hopeless, then I am with you until the end."
Naruto then walked over to his family and Karai and took out four tags with the phrase: バリア (barrier).
He then formed a 'Ram' hand-sign and a transparent pale-purple box was formed from the tags.
"This box is designed to hone in on a jutsu formula that I inscribed back in the lair. It can withstand anything that's thrown at it," he explained.
He then gave a sad smile. "I'm sorry guys," he said sadly, "But I got to stay behind to make sure Shred-head doesn't try anything to stop this. Tell April I'm sorry, but I won't be coming back."
"Naruto," Leo groaned.
"My son," Splinter groaned.
"No," Don groaned.
"You can't," Raph groaned.
"Not like this," Mikey groaned.
Naruto shed some more tears before quickly wiping them away and turning his attention to the professor.
"Whenever you're ready professor," Naruto said as he plugged the Palm Top into the control console.
"Just give me thirty seconds Naruto," said the professor.
Naruto said nothing as he closed his eyes and sat down next to the control console.
Professor Honeycutt gave a countdown, "Overload in: 5."

"Good-bye," Naruto whispered.
And the ship began to rumble.
-Outer Space-
An Utrom spaceship raced past the planet Mars.
Inside, Mortu was at the controls and behind him were the three navigator Utroms that made up the impromptu high council when they were trapped on Earth.
"Mortu, we close in on Honeycutt's signal," said a navigator.
"But we sense the destruction of the evil one's ship is imminent," said a second.
"We can delay no longer," said the third.
"Prepare the Exo-suits and trans-mat aboard immediately," they said altogether.
An Utrom flew in from Mortu's left just as they came upon the Shredder's starship.
"Commander, all is in order," said the Utrom.
"Agreed, to the trans-mat, now!" Mortu commanded, "And activate the stasis bubble, immediately!"
A beam was then fired upon the ship and every action that was currently happening was put on hold.
-The Power Core Room-
Mortu and an Utrom were in their Exo-suits as they teleported in. They had arrived just as the explosion was taking place.
"Mr. Mortu, collapse of the stasis bubble is imminent," said the Utrom, "it will not hold."
"Trans-mat Naruto, the turtles, and Master Splinter to the infirmary immediately," Mortu commanded, "Send Professor Honeycutt to our laboratories."
He then looked at Karai. "Send the girl, her accomplice and the evil one to the brig," he said.
"Yes sir," said the Utrom, "Trans-matting now."
All 10 occupants were enveloped in a blue light and were immediately teleported off the doomed starship, followed closely by the Utroms. The stasis bubble then collapsed and the ship was blown to smithereens.
-With Bishop-
As Bishop's helicopter flew over New York, the henchman at the control console observed a monitor and reported, "The target has been destroyed sir, and I'm scanning for life forms now."
He did so and the scan showed there was none to be found.
"No survivors sir," said the henchman.
"Hmm," Bishop pondered, "our missiles must have done more damage than we thought."
Stockman, on the other hand, took the news rather well.
"The Shredder, dead? It's too good to be true," he said joyfully, "for once in my life, I'm...I'm speechless."
Bishop looked over at Stockman.
"Stockman," he said, "You've been very useful. I think this is the beginning of a very beautiful friendship."
-The Utrom Homeworld: Galaxy Theta-
Inside a courtroom of sorts on the Utrom Homeworld, the Shredder was brought up from the floor as two green lasers restrained him in place.
Karai and Dr. Chaplin rose up next. Each of them was restrained with handcuffs. Their place was to the Shredder's far left.
Lastly, Naruto (who had a bandage on his face) Splinter (who was being treated for burns) Raph (who had bandages wrapped around his abdomen, shell, and right ankle) Leo (who had bandages wrapped around his abdomen, shell and left arm) Mikey (who had casts on both his legs and was on crutches) Don (who had his right arm in a cast and sling) and Professor Honeycutt (who was back in his makeshift body) all rose up from the floor and stood at the Shredder's far right.
Up on the ceiling, giant holographic heads of various aliens appeared.
Lastly, in front of the Shredder was a panel of 7 Utrom Judges. Each had a spot light shine on them.
"Hail and peace to all sentient beings," said a judge, "In the name of the great lawgiver, Matthes Arles, this tribunal is now called to order. We sit in judgment over Ch'rell, for war crimes and atrocities committed throughout the galaxy. Ch'rell, also known as: Torrinon, Kako Naso, Duke Acureds, Oroku Saki, and the Shredder."
The evil red Utrom was then taken out of the abdominal cavity by the green lasers which still held him in place. The Shredder suit was then destroyed.
"Prepare to face the following charges," said the judge as a monitor appeared behind the panel of judges, "Let it be known that as Dolphette has testified, you did willingly launch an attack, on the planet Enethone. Over one million innocent inhabitants dead. And as Wan-ran Otho has proven, you incited and funded a civil war on Eno II, in an effort to mine their raw minerals without restriction. 3.2 million dead. Finally, your crimes against the Utrom Homeworld include multiple attempts to take control of the government, through an illegal and violent coup. We will now commune upon the verdict."
And the judges all closed their eyes and meditated. After a few moments, they opened their eyes.
And altogether, they declared," In the name of the great lawgiver, this tribunal finds you, Ch'rell ... guilty!"
The evil Utrom, now known as Ch'rell growled, "What?! Arrrrgh!"
Dr. Chaplin winced. "Ouch," he said.
The Utrom Judge then said, "Ch'rell, you are hereby sentenced to eternal exile on the ice asteroid Mor Gal Tal."
Karai gasped in shock and disbelief.
"You are not fit to judge me!" Ch'rell exclaimed, "I am the Shredder! I am invincible! I... I... No!... NOOOOOOOO!"
And he was transported away, never to be seen again.
"May your actions haunt you forever," said the Utrom Judge.
Mortu then said, "As for the Shredder's comrades, they shall be returned to Earth and handed over to the proper authorities."
Karai and Dr. Chaplin were then lowered back down.
Karai looked up and said in protest, "This is not what I wanted...this is not what I wanted!"
The floor then closed up.
"We all owe you a debt of gratitude," said Mortu as he turned to face the heroes, "The Shredder has finally been brought to justice!"
"Is it really over?" Leo asked.
"No more Shredder?" Raph asked.
"Yes, my sons," said Splinter, "My master Yoshi's spirit can finally rest in peace. The Shredder...is finished!"
-On an Ice Asteroid-
Ch'rell teleported in and saw his surroundings
"NOOOOO! NOOOOOOOO! AAAAAAAAAAARGH!" he cried out in anger.
And that, dear readers, concludes the third season of NMNT. And what a ride it has been. I don't know when any of you readers in the United States have spring break, but for me I was able to finish this chapter on time and not in May or June. That being said, you will have to forgive me for the fact that it nearly took two years to complete. I can only blame college life for that.
Now I am going to have to say that you all must be patient with me because if it took me nearly two years to finish this season, who's to say how long it'll take me to finish up the others. I'll work hard to be sure, but I know I'm going to have to expect periods of dry spells.
Speaking of these last two years, seems a couple of things have happened. Namely The Legend of Korra's ending and Naruto ending with a broken base. I had nothing to comment on, mostly because those two things have nothing to do with what I'm doing now. Plus enough people have given an opinion on either so you can go look them up if you wish.
Before I go here, I'd like to give you guys a little bit of behind the scenes trivia: You know how I had Naruto fight the Shredder and ultimately have him make the decision to sacrifice himself and save his family; I've had that planned since season 1. And you know what else? I've got two more things planned, but you'll have to wait until Season 7 comes out.
Now then, onwards to season 4!
