Here's the next chapter! ;)

CHAPTER 22:

Percy POV (NEXT MORNING)

I can't believe that we're getting married. And going to Greece. And getting married. And that the cake will be blue.

It's a dream come true.

When I'm awake, I kiss Annabeth's forehead and smile at her contentedly.

I'm so focused with all things Annabeth; that I nearly scream when I see a poof of smoke appear in the corner of our room.

I almost scream again when I realize that ATHENA had appeared through the smoke.

"Perseus Jackson. Do not make me regret allowing my daughter to marry you." She glared.

"Of course not, I promise to only love and respect her. After all, she is the best thing that has ever happened to me."

She glared for another moment then nodded reluctantly. "Alright, but if my grandchildren are as kelp headed as you, I may just end up killing you anyways."

Before I can stutter out an answer, she had poofed away again.

Did that really happen, or was she psyching me out?

I have no idea.

Anyways, almost immediately afterwards, Annabeth's eyes opened.

"Hey Seaweed Brain." She says, kissing my cheek.

"Hey Wise Girl."

I see her studying me. "Percy what's wrong? You look like you've seen a ghost." She says worriedly.

"Not a ghost. Just your mom." I sigh.

She scrambles upright.

"WHAT?!" She screamed.

"Shh! The others are still probably asleep. And-yeah."

"Are you hurt? Did she threaten to kill you? Did-"

I interrupted her, laughing slightly.

"No Wise Girl. She just wanted to make sure I would always love and respect you and yeah."

"Seaweed Brain, you are by all means the most incredible boyfriend in the entire universe."

I can feel the heat rising up on my cheeks. "Uh, thanks Wise Girl."

She drags me up, and shoves me to the bathroom. "Take a quick shower, I want to spend all of today with you before we have to go back to school tomorrow."

I nod, kissing her cheek quickly before I leave.

I hurry to shower, and Annabeth does the same after me.

I grab her hand and the two of us stroll down the stairs, where everyone was waiting.

"Oh there's the newly engaged couple!" I heard Piper say, laughing.

I could tell Annabeth was blushing, and I'm pretty sure that I was also.

"Hey guys. Annabeth and I are going to spend the day together, alright? But we'll probably be back for dinner."

"Go! Have fun-and remember, if you go shopping to get me a new bow, because mine is scratched." Thalia shouted.

We laughed. "Thalia, most places don't have bows we can just get. You'll have to ask Lady Artemis." She sighed in response.

"Oh alright."

We smiled at each other, before walking out the door.

"So what do you want to do first?" I ask her, swinging our hands between the two of us.

"Let's go get breakfast and then see after that." She suggested, and I nodded.

We walked to a close breakfast place called 'Morning Time Meals' (AN: I TOTALLY JUST MADE THAT UP!).

We were seated quickly, and both ordered a stack of pancakes, though I have to admit. I was extremely sad when they told me they wouldn't make mine blue.

Annabeth and I were served fast, and the two of us savored our alone time by just talking.

We talked about everything, from what our wedding was going to be like to school.

We were in the middle of reminiscing a particularly hilarious prank that Travis had pulled in order to get Katie to notice him, when I realized that Annabeth kept darting down to look at her hand.

"What's wrong Wise Girl?" I asked her.

She flushed. "Nothing, I just… The ring is beautiful Seaweed Brain. Where did you get it?"

I laughed. "Once again, Tyson. I have no idea what I'd do without him."

She beamed. "I'll have to thank him myself soon."

"He'll love that. He thinks you're cooler than peanut butter."

She playfully gasped. "Really? I feel so special now!"

The two of us burst into laughter.

After I had paid for the meal, though Annabeth had tried to pay instead, the two of us decided to go visit camp for a bit.

It had been awhile since we had gone.

So I whistled for Blackjack in a not-so-busy corner, and he came almost immediately.

"Hey boss. Got any donuts?"

I shook my head confusedly. "No Blackjack, I don't have donuts."

"Aww man. So where are we headed?"

"We're going to camp." I say, climbing onto his back, and then pulling Annabeth up behind me.

"Alright boss, we'll be there soon."

I relayed his message to Annabeth as we took off and she nodded.

"I miss camp so much." She said, wrapping her arms tighter around my torso.

"I do too Wise Girl. I love the new house, but camp is special."

Piper POV

Thank goodness Percy and Annabeth were out of the house!

Wow, I just realized how mean that sounded.

I mean, I'm glad they got out so they would be very surprised with our 'Happy Engagement Party.'

I was in charge of getting a cake with Thalia; Jason, Nico, Clarisse and Chris were decorating; Bianca, Calyspo, Leo and Katie were calling some friends; and everyone else were pretty much just making cards and gifts for the couple.

I have to say, I'm extremely happy for Percy and Annabeth.

I know that my mother put them through a lot, and now that they were finally done with that mess, they were finally able to just be together without worrying that the world was going to end.

They definitely deserve it.

I know that they are still going to have some problems, what with Krystal and David still not taking any hints, but they were stronger than that. They would get through it.

And they were both just so dedicated to each other. Percy did everything he could to always make her smile, and Annabeth did everything she could to make sure that he was still the same happy-go-lucky guy that he used to be.

They just… worked so naturally. I was almost jealous of their relationship sometimes, but then I always remembered that Jason and I were special too. We loved each other also, but we just haven't gone through as much together as Percy and Annabeth have.

But I'm okay with that, because I know that Jason and I were good. Better than good. We were perfect to me.
