I just want to let you guys know that I have read the books and I do know that Coach has a SON named CHUCK but I started this story before BOO and I just don't want to change things now. :)

Chapter 25:

STILL THALIA POV

She opens up the gift and her eyes widen.

"Thalia." She says, voice wobbling slightly. "You didn't."

"What is it?" Percy asked. Annabeth opened the box, which had holes punched out on the top, and pulled out a kitten.

It was the cutest thing that I had ever seen. He was gray with blue eyes and had a black tail, black ear and one single black paw, but everything else was gray.

Percy's eyes widened. "Thals! That-that's Bob."

Annabeth let a tear fall from her eye. "Thalia that's the sweetest thing that you could have done for us. You got us Bob." She said.

I stand up to hug my best friend. "It was no problem." I say, but they both protested.

"Just the fact that you remembered was something in itself," Annabeth told me.

"I thought it would be important to you." I said shrugging awkwardly.

Annabeth hugged me again.

"Oh and in the box there's all sorts of things that you'll need to feed him and care for him and stuff." I say, pointing to some cat food and other stuff.

"It means a lot." Annabeth repeated.

I smile at her. "I know, and I got it for you because you're like my sister-I love you Annie. And I guess you're alright too, Kelp Head." I say and Percy grins.

"I knew you couldn't get enough of me." Percy said with a wink, causing us all to laugh.

TIMESKIP TO NEXT DAY (AN: By the way, I know that I said Annabeth's California friends would be staying for a month, but I'm just pretending that they're leaving now, because all the characters are getting kind of hard to manage)

Annabeth POV

I woke up to warmth near my feet and a mewling sound. I remembered that Thalia had gotten Percy and me Bob, and I leaned over near the foot of the bed to pick him and cuddle with him.

I noticed that Percy had woken up as well, and he was smiling at me. "I'm so happy, Wise Girl." He said.

"I'm happy too Seaweed Brain." I say, kissing his cheek.

The two of us get to talking about things, memories mostly, when I remember something.

"Oh I totally forgot!"

"What?" Percy asked, worriedly.

"My friends from California are leaving today." I say.

"Oh, I think that everyone forgot, honestly." Percy said, and I laughed.

"Well we should probably still go make sure everyone's awake so that we can drop them off before heading to school." I say, thinking about everything that we have to do.

"Do you think that Coach and Mellie would mind watching Bob while we're at school?" Percy asks.

"Probably." I say shrugging.

My eyes widen again. "I almost forgot about our Seven and Coach bonding day too! That's tomorrow, what are we going to do? We could go to the beach, go bowling, I don't really care." I say with a shrug,

"Let's go get everyone, drop the California gang off at the airport and then talk it over when we get to school and see if Coach is okay with it when we get home." Percy says.

I look at him in mock surprise. "That was surprisingly smart Seaweed Brain."

He laughed. "It's only because a certain Wise Girl is rubbing off on me." He said in fake accusing tone.

I laugh also and the two of us go downstairs, where we are pleased to find that everyone is waiting for us.

"Hi everyone!" I say, snatching a toaster waffle off of Leo's plate.

"Hey!" He whined.

"Grow up," I say, shoving him softly in the shoulder.

"So Coach, do you think that you and Mellie can keep an eye on our kitten, just like feed him every once in awhile and stuff, it won't be that much work." I ask.

"Of course not, Annabeth. It's the least we can do, after all-you guys are letting us stay with you." Mellie reminded me.

I turn to all my California friends. "I'm really going to miss you guys." I say.

"We'll miss you too," Amelia said.

"A lot." Steve added.

"But we'll see you again sometime soon, right-for the wedding?" Mary asked hopefully.

I blush. "Of course."

"Good, because if you think you'd get away without inviting us, you're going crazy Chase." Danny said, nudging me in the shoulder.

"I wouldn't dream of it." I say truthfully.

We all finish eating quickly and then begin the drive to the airport to see them off.

I'm surprised to see Jonas and Mia part with a soft kiss. I didn't know that they were THAT close!

"Bye everyone! I'll miss you!" I call, waving until I can't see them anymore,

"We'll miss you too, Annabeth!" I hear their voices echo back.

Percy wraps his arm around my shoulders. "Let's go to school, I guess." He said, grimacing.

I laugh but follow him back to his car.

We arrive at school quickly, and as soon as we get there, we grab Piper, Jason, Frank, Hazel and Leo and start planning our bonding day tomorrow.

"You know having it tomorrow means missing school, right?" Piper says, looking at me warily.

"I already talked to Sally and Paul about it, he says that he'll give us all our homework when we come back the day after tomorrow."

"Aww man. The point of missing school is not having to do the work!" Leo whined.

"Whatever, Leo." I say.

"So what do you guys want to do tomorrow? Go to the beach, bowl, I don't really care."

"I'm up for bowling." Frank says.

"Sounds good to me." Jason replies, and Piper nods in agreement.

"I haven't bowled in so long! I'll wipe the floor with you all!" Leo said, rubbing his hands together excitedly.

"I've never been bowling. Is it fun?" Hazel asks. We all nod enthusiastically.

"Okay then, we can talk to Coach about it when we get home, but as for right now-let's get to class." The bell rings after my words, proving my point.

Everyone groans but starts walking to homeroom.
