Months past as I was still living at the cottage, the was a nice town, I've made friends and was always welcomed over for something to eat or just for tea.

I took some of them up on there offers, after all it can be lonely with it just being me in a cottage. I was in town one day picking up supplies for a fair the town would be hosting for outsiders.

I thought it weird at first, but then I thought it must be a way for people to get to know on another. I was stuck making the pies, while my friend Alice, was stuck making the soup.

"All I needed was one more pie, then I ran out of supplies", I said as I walked back inside her house. "That must have sucked", she commented. "It did, how much do you have left?" I questioned as I sat the bags down on the counter.

"Just two more and I'll be down for tomorrow". Tomorrow was the day that the fair would start. People are going around waving banners in everyone's faces, getting ready for the big day.

I might have been here a while, but still not even a year yet, just merely four months, and that to me was a while. Day after day, I was still slowly getting use to this new life.

I was fully healed, but every now and then, I would feel a tug and a pain run through my chest, What it was I don't know, and neither does the doctors in town.

The pie was done and just needed to be put into the oven, "Alice, do you think you could take it out when it's done? I would like to get home before it gets too dark". I asked her.

"Yeah, go for it. Have a good night and see you there tomorrow". We both waved to each other as I left her house. I was getting chilly out here, with the winter getting closer and closer.

I was hame and walked up stairs and flipped on the light. "Another day gone", I said to myself as I changed into night-clothes. 'I'll take a shower in the morning'. I thought as I was done changing clothes.

It was stuffy in the room, so I walked over and cracked the window to let the night air cool me to sleep. I climbed into bed and cuddled with my blanket, and the wind did as I had hoped. It cooled me to sleep.

'nightmares, why am I having a nightmare? I was in pain, a lot of pain. I could barely breathe, why could I barely breath? I saw blood on the ground around me, why was there blood and whose blood was it? I spun around looking on the ground, trying to see who's blood it was.

Kanda, why was Kanda laying on his back in the snow? The snow was turning a deep red color, no. "Kanda!" I yelled. I tried to run to him, but I couldn't move, my legs felt like a ton and the ground wasn't letting me go to him.

"Kanda!". Why was this happening? Why is he like this? Why won't he move? "Kanda!". I kept yelling, and still, he wouldn't answer me.

I flew up out of my bed panting, heavy. I was in a cold sweat and was seeing all black, sept for a beam of light that came through the room cause of the moon.

In a slip second, my chest was on fire, I felt like someone had just squeezed my heart. It was hurting, all of me was hurting, but there was no one here. I t was just me and the empty air.

I feel back asleep soon after I felt no more pain. that was the last time that happened that night.

The sun was shinning through my windows and woke me up. It was going to be a good day, I could feel it. I got up showered and dressed. I walked out my cottage and over to Alice's house.

"Hey?" I called as I opened her front door, "In the kitchen!". She yelled. I walked through the house to get to the back kitchen. "You almost ready to go?" I asked her. "Yep, ready. Let's go"

She said and we picked up our pies and soups and made our way to the town center. People were already up and walking around looking at the different stands. They were selling anything and everything.

"The food get set up over here", she said and that's where we went to set the food down. "Hey Alice, it looks great, can't wait to try some". Said Luke, standing by the food stand.

"Hey Amaya, your pies look good also", he said to me. "Thanks", I said back to him. He just nodded his head and took the pies and soup from us.

"You girls go get a good seat, I'll find you later". Luke said. I turned to Alice, only to have her grab my arm and start pulling me towards a growing crowd.

"A good seat for what?", I questioned. "Their going to announce that the fair has begun". Why? It seemed pointless, I mean, everyone is already shopping and eating. Why announce that the fair has started, when the people have already started?

"There's a good spot, come on", she said, and pulled my arm in the direction she saw the spot. We were standing on the side of the huge crowed, when the mayor stepped up onto a plat form.

"The 35th annual Fair has begun!". He said through a microphone. Cheers were erupted from everywhere. People were shouting and jumping and walking off to go start their day.

Me and Alice went back to the food stand and got to work handing people their soup and pie.

I had one pie left and Alice was about out of soup. I say it was a good day. "Hey girls, sorry I was at the opening, I had some things to take care of". Luke said.

"No, it's fine", Alice said to him. "I can take over so you two can go enjoy the rest of the fair". He said, and we both agreed. "So, how do you like the fair?". Alice said as we were walking around.

"It's cool how the village celebrates like this". I told here, "Yeah, it is kinda sweet". She commented. By the time we saw everything, we were back at the food stand.

"Thanks Luke", I said as we were standing by the stand. "No prob Girls", he said, and was just about to finish cleaning up. "Thank for cleaning up too". Alice's told him. "You're welcome". He said to her.

"I'm gonna go home okay? I'm tired from what all's happened. Goodnight". I waved to them as I walked away. I was walking down a side street to get back to my cottage, till I heard a scream come from behind me.

I stopped in my tracks and ran back to where the scream came from. When I got there, Alice laid on the ground bleeding out dead.

My eyes got big and I could feel tears starting to form. "Sorry you had to see that". Luke said stepping from around a building. "You son of a bitch!". I yelled at him.

"She was getting on my nerves. But you Amaya, you have something I want. Two of something I want actually". He started walking to me. "And whats that?" I questioned him. "Your Innocence". He said

I fake laughed to him before I spoke, "Sorry to tell you, but I don't have Innocence in me, it was taken out to save my life". I told him, but he was still walking to me.

"Come now, don't lie I can see your Innocence. There's one in your shoulder and another which is just a sliver is by your heart". WHAT! Does this mean that I still have Innocence?

"So, you really didn't think that you had Innocence in you? How sad. Well, let me take it out of you". Luke said and lunged at me. I turned around and ran.

I didn't know where I was running to, I just ran. I was running through streets and around buildings trying to lose this person. "You can run, but you can't hide". I heard his voice ring out from every direction.

I still didn't stop, I kept running. Was it safe to go home? Where can I go? "Gotcha!". Luke said and jumped in front of me and pinned me to a building. 'You know, you can run for a while, but in the end, I still caught you". H said and pulled out a knife. "This will hurt", he said to me with a wicked smile on his face.

"No it wont". A male voice said behind Luke. I know that voice! I looked down to see a shiny sword, covered in blood. The body was pulled from me and tossed to the side.

"Kanda". I said and was just staring at him. He looked at me and his eyes went as wide as my own. "Amaya?". I didn't know what came over me. I jumped at Kanda and wrapped my arms around him.

He did the same but with one arm, 'cause the other still held Mugen. "Are you okay?". I let him go and shook my head 'yes'. "Stay at your house, there's a few more exorcist's here. There's going to be an Akuma attack. So stay in doors". He kissed my forehead and walked away.

So Luke, was an Akuma. I did as Kanda said, and went home and locked my doors. After that was all done, I tried to think back to what Luke said before he was killed.

'you have two Innocence in you one in your shoulder and another beside your heart' Does this mean that I still have m y wings? And what is the second one? Beside my heart?

Right when I finished that thought, a sharp pain ran through my heart. It hurt enough to have me fall to my knees. When the pain subsided I walked outside and felt a pull.

I followed where ever it was pulling my from. I know Kanda said to stay indoors, but I had to fine out what this pulling was. I rounded a building and stopped. An exorcist laid on the ground breathing heavily.

"Are you okay?" I bent down to him. "Akuma...Blue hair...Help" Was all he said before he died. I heard a loud bang and looked up to see Kanda falling to the ground. No.

I took off my shirt and was trying to activate my wings, If they were still there. I pain ripped through my shoulder as I looked to both sides and saw my wings. I smile grew on my face, till I remembered why I activated my wings.

I looked up and Kanda was still falling. I flapped my wings and threw myself into the sky. It only took a few flaps till I reached him. I sat him down on the roof of one of the buildings.

"Kanda can you hear me?" I questioned him. "Kanda?" I was shaking him now, but still no answer. I pushed his jacket aside, and saw that he was bleeding from his heart. No.

I covered him back up and reach for Mugen. I pulled him out of Kanda's grip, and looked up to see a level three looking down at me. "Your ugly", I said, to the Akuma. I don't think it heard me, but that's fine. I was about to jump into the sky, when I felt a hand wrap around my ankle.

"Don't". Kanda said. I bent down and looked at him. "I'll be fine, let me protect you". I said and kissed him on the lips. It was a bitter-sweet farewell. I pulled back and he looked at me. " I'll be fine". I said to him, then jumped into the sky and flapped my wings.

I was looking across the open air to the Akuma. "So, you're gonna fight me now, huh? Well, let's see how long you'll last. And when your dead, I'll crush you so there's nothing left". It laughed and came at me.

I folded my wings and fell a few feet, so the Akuma could fly over me. It stopped and looked down and saw me flying back up to it. It moved back and I slashed at it. Man, I'm rusty.

"You left him to die, and now you left him wide open to get killed by me". It said and dropped out of the sky. I folded my wings and did a sort of dive-bomb on that damn Akuma.

I caught up to it and stabbed it with Mugen. I activated my second Innocence and found that it was Mugen. Mugen was the sliver that was still in me. It activated and the Akuma screamed.

I had to pull Mugen out before I hit the roof along with the Akuma. But the Akuma stopped in time to just graze to roof top. "You think it'll be that easy? Well think again" It said and flew at me.

I braised myself for impact and held Mugen in front of me. The Akuma hit me with the force of a thousand punches. In other words, it hurt like a Bitch.

I was slammed into a wall of another building and went through the wall. The Akuma was laying on top of me, and in seconds it pulled off of the sword and looked at me. Before it had anything to say. The building started shaking and then the building fell.

I folded my wings over me as a shield, to help keep breaks and things from hitting me. I looked through my feathers and saw the Akuma getting hit by the falling ruble. I was feeling sharp pains hitting my wings and my back.

The wall tat we came through suddenly fell down on top of the Akuma. The Akuma then exploded sending breaks flying everywhere. I was covered by the building.

I was alive, but in pain. The building was now no more than a pile of breaks on the ground. I was hearing shouts and yelling's asking if anyone was in there. "Help!". I yelled.

I need to get out of here and to get to Kanda. There was movement coming from my side as someone was pushing the breaks out-of-the-way. I pushed my wings out to the sides and saw Lavi.

Sitting on his butt by where I was at. SO he was the one digging me out. "Amaya, what are you doing here? And with Mugen?"

Lavi asked, as we both stood up. "Kanda is on top of that building, and I live here". I told him. I flapped my wings and flew on to the roof where Kanda still laid. "Kanda?" I shook him. Nothing.

I started lightly slapping his face, "Kanda:. I was saying his name louder. "KANDA!". I couldn't take it anymore. I yelled his name and slapped his face, hard. His eyes shot open they held fire in them that said 'Do that again and die'.

"Don't do that...again". He said and started to sit up. "Where's Mugen?", he asked and I handed him Mugen back. "I think I can live at the Order again, seeing as how I have two Innocence still. My wings and the sliver from Mugen". I said to him.

I could tell that he was trying to stand so I help him up. "YUU!", Lavi screamed as he ran over to Kanda. "Baka usage", Kanda mumbled. Lavi helped me get Kanda back to the ground. "Allen, Lenalee". I said their names and turned to face me, both of their faces lit up at the site of me.

But then faded as they saw Kanda. "We need to get him to the Order". I told them. "I'll take him", I turned to Lavi. "I'll get him there faster 'cause of this". He held up his hammer.

"Be careful". I told him as he placed Kanda on his lap. "Always am", and away he flew with Kanda, sitting on his lap. "Let's get going guy's". I said to Allen and Lenalee.

On the way back to the Order, I told them what happened. I was done telling them everything that happened to me after I'd left. We were outside the Order. I can't wait to get back inside.

I told Komui what happened and he was more than happy to have me back. He told the higher-ups what have happened and their also allowing me to stay. After everything was done and settled, I waited by Kanda's bed.

He was so peaceful looking. Just a few cuts on his face, and a wrapped up arm and a bandage over his heart. I was by his bed side for three day's, just waiting for him to open his eyes.

SO I WON'T BE ENDING THIS STORY JUST YET.

AND TO CLEAR A FEW THINGS UP FROM LAST CHPTR. WHEN SHE WAS FALLING ASLEEP, AND WHERE SHE WAS WANTING TO WAKE UP, SHE WAS JUST WANTING TO WAKE UP FROM LIFE. SHE WANTED EVERYTHING THAT HAS HAPPENED TO HER (LOSING HER INNOCENCE, FRIENDS, A HOME AND KANDA.) BE A DREAM A NIGHTMARE. SHE DIDN'T WANT ANY OF IT TO BE REAL. BUT IT WAS REAL. SHE JUST WANTED REALITY TO BE A DREAM FOR ONCE SO SHE COULD WAKE UP AND HAVE EVERYTHING SHE LOST BACK.
