Chapter 11:

NEXT DAY

Annabeth POV

I wake up to Percy's snoring and I laugh to myself. Seaweed Brain really hasn't changed in the past few years. He was really similar to how he was when I first met him when we were 12, and it was a nice sense of familiarity to know that he was the same and that he was here for me.

I stand up and begin to get ready for breakfast. After pulling my robes on, I shake Percy awake.

"Seaweed Brain. Seaweed Brain! Wake up!" I smack him with a pillow until he wakes up.

"Huh? Wise Girl? Whazzgoinon?"

I sigh heavily. "Seaweed Brain! Breakfast is starting soon!"

"Breakfast?" He asked, now sitting up straight

I should have known to start with that.

"Yes, Seaweed Brain. Breakfast. Now hurry up and get ready so we aren't late." I tell him, and he does as I ask.

We walk through our doors to the common room, where the rest of our friends were waiting.

"What took you guys so long?" Leo asked, impatiently tapping his fingers against his thighs.

"This one took forever to wake up." I say, jerking a finger towards Percy, who smiled cheekily in response.

"Whatever, let's go get breakfast. I'm starving!" Thalia moaned, and so we all walk to the Great Hall for breakfast.

After eating a delicious breakfast, Hermione began to walk to the Transfiguration classroom, and we all follow her.

When we walk in, Professor McGonagall sees us all and comes to us. "Have you all… been completely acquainted yet?" She asked, and we realized the hidden meaning behind her words.

"Yes, Professor. They know everything." I say.

Nodding, she responds. "That's probably good, just in case you ran into an emergency."

We nod in agreement. "Now sit down, the lesson is about to start."

And so the days went on and on like that, until a few days before the holiday break.

(AN: SORRY FOR THE TIMESKIP, BUT IT WOULD GET BORING OTHERWISE)

Percy POV

We woke to furious knocks on the door. Annabeth blearily opened the door to see a frazzled Hermione.

"Come quick, and pack some things for the holiday break."

What? But I thought we were going home… I can tell that Annabeth had the same thoughts as I did.

"What happened?" She asked, stuffing some things in her trunk.

"Harry had a nightmare about Mr. Weasley and now everyone who is spending the hols with the Order have to leave now-which includes you and the other demigods."

Annabeth froze. "What exactly was this dream about?" For some reason, her eyes met mine.

"I'm not sure exactly. All that I know is that in the dream, Mr. Weasley was attacked by a snake, and it has been confirmed that he has actually been attacked as well."

That was… severe. And extremely worrying.

A snake attacked him? For what reasons? Did it have to do with that Voldywart guy? It must…

Annabeth and I quickly finished packing then followed Hermione to Dumbledore's office. Everyone else is already there, in pajamas and dragging trunks behind them.

Dumbledore quickly handed us an old boot and explained the Portkey to us. We felt a strange sensation-kind of like shadow traveling, and then found ourselves at Grimmauld Place.

Harry POV

I couldn't get that dream out of my mind. It was my fault-it had to be. I was the snake. So it is my fault that Mr. Weasley was hurt. When we arrived at Grimmauld Place, Tonks told us to put our things in the room because we were going to go see Mr. Weasley.

I couldn't help but worry that he would know that it was my fault and would hate me. Since the Weasleys are pretty much the only family I have, I don't even know what I would do if they hated me.

Lupin told us that we were die-along Apparating, except for Nico who was shadow travelling and Percy and Annabeth because they had learned to Apparate by themselves.

Ron was going with Lupin, Ginny with Tonks, Fred and George with Mad-Eye, and since Mrs. Weasley was already there, I had no one to take me.

"Maybe I could go?" Sirius suggested hopefully.

"Padfoot, you know you really shouldn't." Lupin scolded.

My godfather sighed. "Fine, Harry then you should go with Percy, if that's alright with him."

Percy nodded. Everyone settled themselves, and then we all Apparated in a flurry of resounding cracks.

Percy and I arrived outside St. Mungos, and I began to walk toward the doors, but Percy stopped me. "Wait, Harry. Tell me what's wrong."

I froze. How did he know?

"What are you talking about?" I say, trying to change the subject.

"Look, I recognize the look on your face. You look guilty because you think something is your fault-what is it?"

"How do you know?" I asked, surprised.

"I know it because I wear it a lot. My fatal flaw is personal loyalty-I feel like I'm to blame for anything and everything that goes wrong."

"It's nothing, really."

"No, it is something."

He wasn't going to let this go, was he? "Fine. The truth is, in my nightmare… I was the snake. And so now I feel like this whole mess with Mr. Weasley is my fault."

Percy nodded. "I understand. I get that you feel like it's your fault-but look at it this way. There is no way that it could have been you, and you saved his life, okay."

"Huh? Saved his life-what are you talking about?"

"If you hadn't had that dream and told Dumbledore, then there's little chance that Mr. Weasley would have been found early enough for them to heal him. He might not have survived."

That made me feel a lot better. "Thanks, Percy. You know-you're really good at that."

"At what?" His confused face made me laugh.

"Making people feel better."

"I just can do it because I have had a hard life, and can usually relate." He said modestly, cheeks tinged with pink.

"Hey, come on. Let's go see Mr. Weasley." He said, and I nodded.

We found his room number, and with a deep breath, the two of us walked in.
