As the amount of days until the actual night of the full moon decreased, seemingly so to Derek both rapidly and very fleetingly it seemed to himself. Derek found his own self to be both more temperamental and short-tempered even more so than he usually found himself to be.

Derek found himself to be both more of two main particular and certain things; the first and seemingly more heavily weighed upon thoughts of Paige , causing Derek to become both even more scared and even more so apprehensive because of what Ennis had done to Paige.

Derek secretly knew deep, deep, down that it was more Ennis' fault than Derek's own fault. The thought that kept reeling back in that thought of blame to direct it towards his own self was that Derek would think about how Paige might possibly or even still be alive if he had not befriended Paige in the end.

Which Derek would love to think to himself that in the very end that if this had not of taken place that the entire Hale Pack would possibly, or even still be alive, but in the end Derek would finally end up convincing his own self that even if he had not been tricked by Kate Argent, that she still would have found her very own, and even unique way of both figuring out and eventually killing almost his entire family, save for Peter and Laura.

The bad thing about Derek's own bad temper, stress level, and level of patience being both stressed and even shortened was that Derek at this present-date-in-time had both a very short and even more so stressed patience. Was that Derek had been pretty much asking by going to school before the full moon to be punished and was in an obtuse way asking for a detention.

Eventually Derek did earn his own self a detention from the English teacher, because while Derek was both intelligent and even smart he had been having problems with spelling and even with reading for the past few days leading up to the full moon. So when the English teacher who had always seemed to want to pick on him for some reason asked Derek if he would like help going through the letters of the alphabet after misreading a word. Derek could not prevent himself from saying:

"Sure you can help me say the alphabet if we can start with the letters F and U, you horse's ass," and as soon as Derek had said it his fiend Colt had looked at him as if he was crazy because while Derek had a temper she had never known him to be this directly rude or even disrespectful to a teacher.

"Principal's office now Mr. Hale!" Mr. Connors yelled at the top of his lungs at Derek so rather than get into any more trouble than he already was, Derek just simply got up, took the note Mr. Connors had written him for the principal, and then headed straight out the door.

As soon as he heard the bell ring which signified the end of class Derek counted quietly to himself in both expectation of either his uncle Peter or for Colt. Colt was the winner but upon turning his head to the left he immediately saw his Uncle Peter walking down the school hallway.

"Oh great, I'm going to get chewed out twice," Derek thought quietly to himself as Colt sat down beside him which Derek responded by telling her,

"You'll have to get in line behind my Uncle, cause um' he'll be very mad and if I make him wait then well let's just say I won't be able to sit properly for a month," but in Derek's head he was thinking for another month due to the last punishment that he had received from his own Uncle Peter.

"Fine," Colton replied but then stated:

"Is that why you've had trouble sitting down for long periods of time most recently?" Colton asked him while she gave him a sly grin.

"Yeah, yeah that is exactly why I have had it pretty hard with sitting down for a while," Derek responded while he gave Colt a smile that he rarely used now-a days since most of his family had died.
