PRINCIPLE'S OFFICE

Peter's P.O.V.

As Peter walked into the principals office he first straightened his face before stepping inside the reason why he had to straighten his face had been due to when Colt had told Peter what exactly Derek had said to Mr. Connors.

Even Peter who had thought it to be funny still knew the severity of the statement. The main thing that Peter had hated to learn was that he had to learn how to punish Derek. Formosa things unlike other punishments for teenagers, did not even in the slightest faze Derek.

For instance, take away Derek's beloved Camaro for a week, Derek would respond merely with a shrug of his shoulders, a nonchalant look, and would then say to Peter:

" I guess I'll just walk to school then," or maybe he would say:

" I needed some good fresh air."

Even Derek's own parents had discovered from nearly the very beginning, when Derek was about two years old. That they meaning Talia and Mikael Hale needed a new way of punishing Derek. Because every single time just about up until then.

Derek had after every punishment almost seemed to just walk away not even feeling the slightest bit sorry.
This was about the time that Peter had been the first to figure out the best way that the family mainly Talia and Mikael needed to punish Derek.

It had been when Peter had taken Derek with him on the grocery run, cause it was his turn to buy groceries. When two-year old Derek decides while they were headed out to the car, before Peter was about to put Derek back in the cart.
Cause Derek enjoyed walking next to the cart while in a grocery store he quickly discovered when he began to pout.

Anyway Derek had bolted out into the street and Peter had dropped every bag he had been carrying at that moment. Then bolted straight into the street, the both of them nearly getting hit by an SUV.

It had ended when Peter had after getting to the side of the road, right then and there had pulled down Derek's pants and had spanked him.

Immediately Peter had felt terrible but upon not hearing Derek say his new favorite phrase thanks to Laura:

" Shit I got caught" which would've been funny otherwise.

Peter had then pulled up Derek's pants and then upon looking at Derek's face had immediately felt ten times worse than he already had.

When a teary- eyed Derek on the brink of tears had stuffed his head into the crook of Peters neck. Then had said :

" I'm sowwy Uncle Pete," to which Peter had simply stood with Derek in tow, and had gone to see what was redeemable from the dropped groceries.

Derek's dad had from then on always spanked Derek when he had done something wrong. Peter though had tried his best not to spank Derek unless Derek had been deserving of it. Because Peter liked Derek out of all of the children or even adults in the Hale family the best.

Mainly due that Derek was one of the only kid in the family werewolf or human who seemed not to think he deserved everything.

Anyway after Peter had been told to take a seat in one of the uncomfortable arm chairs in the Principal's office he listened patiently. While thinking:

" Derek you could not have waited until after your first change to get in trouble?"

Then the Principal had advised a two-week suspension for Derek which normally Peter would not have accepted but due to circumstance.

So Peter responded:
" we'll take the two-week suspension as long as it won't go on Derek's record, mainly because it will not ever be happening again."

And then added mostly for Derek with his werewolf hearing to listen: Derek will not do this again, and he's going to be punished anyway."

Peter finished and tried not to laugh as he heard his own nephew's moan mixed with a whimper. Because Derek knew exactly what would be coming later upon reaching home this afternoon.

The principal responded with:
" I'll give him this time, but if it happens again, it will be recorded onto his record Mr. Hale," at which point Peter had growled so only Derek could have heard him when he heard the mock:
" Mr. Hale," uttered by Derek which caused Derek to quietly whimper.

" Thank you, and I do assure you it WILL not happen again." Peter finished before walking outside the office. And then after grabbing the collar of Derek's shirt he jerked him up and they both walked towards their own cars.

"Home now," Peter told Derek with a look accompanied by red eyes to which Derek replied with a quiet nod.
