As Derek and Peter made their way towards Peters car both slowly and painfully, the both of them suddenly heard Deaton call out to them.
As Deaton approached the both of them he handed Peter a bag and then told him
" these herbs should help Derek in dealing with the pain he will most assuredly be dealing with in the next few days or so."
Then Deaton went on to say that Peter needed to just grind them meaning the herb leaves up and then just to combine the contents into Derek's food or even into his drink.
After nodding in agreement and in thanks Peter then after readjusting Derek's arm over his own shoulder continued to help Derek to his car.
Then just after the both of them had driven off about all of five minutes later Peter had noticed that Derek was looking almost green in color.
" you alright there Derek?"
Peter asked his nephew concerned that the actions that had been done by Deaton had not actually helped but accelerated Derek's Derek without warning suddenly grabbed Peter's arm nearly causing Peter to wreck the car and then said
" Pull over before I ruin your car, Peter!"
Peter then took action by immediately swerving to the side of the road and even before the car had fully stopped Peter saw Derek jerk open the passenger door and lean out.
Suddenly what Peter had almost predicted happened the and there. Peter did not even have to strain to listen to hear the sounds of Derek. Because anyone would have been able to discern that Derek was clearly throwing up whatever might have been left in his stomach onto the side of the road.
Peter then did the only thing that he knew to do at this moment in time. Which was simply taking his hand and simply rubbing circles into Derek's back in an attempt towards soothing him.
