Chapter 08 Meeting and a ball

The next morning the knights were up nice and early, just as the sun was about to rise. The Princesses have fallen asleep in front of the campfire, in the full moon shine. And now the sun was waking them up slowly, getting ready for the next day. Some lovely birds singing could be heard in the distance.
"I don't think we have slept this good forever, good thing the Princesses weren't against it. Are you all ok?" Brick asked his brother's.
"Yeah, slept like a log," Bruiser said.
"Let's pack up, get the breakfast sorted out and carry on riding to the kingdom," Butch said seriously.
Butch and Bruiser took the camp down quickly, Brick was on the search for a river to fill their water supplies up and Boomer was off to get for the highnesses and themselves a warm breakfast from the area.
With Boomer
Boomer found them a hearty meal. He spied on a bird who has just laid 3 eggs. He licked his lips and sang a calming song. For the bird has just laid there breakfast, eggs.
Boomer singing: "Little Birdy, what a day, I am a friend of you, is that ok? I never would harm a feather or a BIIIIILLLLL."
Boomer sang at such a high note that the bird challenged him and exploded on the spot, dead. He grinned at his idea and picked the 3 eggs. 2 birds later he had all the eggs. And during his time gathering there breakfast he thought back to the moment Princess Bubbles knighted him and made him her protector. He vowed even to himself that he would not mess up.
After finding the egg's he decided on a bit of fish, so he fished 60 fishes from the river. Most of them they would take with them for the afternoon snack. He cooked 4 fishes if anybody would hart themselves to eat it.
"Hey Brick, how is your morning?" Boomer asked.
He fished the last fish out of the river and seeing Brick fill the water supplies up and placing in 8 water bottles a small chemical pill to destroy all the bacteria the river would contain so it would be safe to drink.
"Morning bro. I am fine, just had to fill our water supplies up. The Princesses should be up by now. Come let's walk back together." Brick said acting a bit shifty.
Boomer looked at Brick confused. He had a good sleep and still looked as if he has seen a ghost, or drunk too much the night before. But he hasn't drunk a bit except for water. So they reached the camp as Butch and Bruiser already have taken it all down and filled the cart up again.
The princesses were up and eating an oat porridge for their breakfast. As they spotted Brick and Boomer they thanked the knights for the supply's that they brought them. As the knights got the camp down and stored away in the backpacks and on the horses the princesses sat in the cart and the journey continued. Then Brick and Boomer sat again on the cart and road it through the last few miles to the other kingdom whiles Butch and Bruiser road the horses again.
As the sun was at its highest they saw the outskirts of the city. The Princesses were looking a bit worried and blue at their future home... whiles the knight's road up to the front gate of the Kingdome. Boomer got off the cart and handed Brick, Butch and Bruiser a trumpet to announce their arrival. The 4 boys blew loudly into it and then after it quieted down the royal guards of the neighbouring kingdom came out to see what was going on.
"There Royal Highnesses: Princess Blossom, Princess Buttercup, Princess Bubbles and Princess Bunny have arrived by invitation of your royal highnesses," Butch called out.
"And who may you be sirs?" One of the royal guards asked.
"We are the Rowdyruffbrother's we have been selected by their royal highnesses as their guards and protectors. By order of the king, we have to bring them here, guard them for their time being until the wedding, by which your royal guards shall take over whiles we return to their kingdom with 2 of the married couples, who then proceed to be the king's and queen's over our nation." Brick explained in a clear and crisp voice for all to hear.
"Ah ok. Two of you shall bring them to the throne room and the other 2 can carry the luggage to the prepared guest rooms for the princesses. Here is a map to guide you guys." One of the guards said and they lead them threw.
"Thank you very much." Boomer said and all 4 boys saluted the knight and walked into the castle.
Brick and Boomer carried the luggage to the Princesses bedrooms, Butch and Bruiser followed the other knights and the Princesses to the throne room where they were supposed to meet their potential husbands. The Knights of the castle held Butch and Bruiser back after leading the Princesses inside.
"The future kings just want to meet the Princesses on their own, we will bring you guy's to our own headquarters where you may train with our other knight's." One of the guards said.
The knight's had no choice, but to let the Princesses on their way. Brian quickly and secretly placed a small camera on Bunny to see what was going to happen. Butch and Bruiser were then lead away by the maid to somewhere else.
With Brick and Boomer
A maid led them to 4 different rooms. The first room that they lead them inside had everything orange with orange suits, orange shoes and even orange windows. Brick held his nose, this prince really loves the colour orange too much. The maid, took the case away from him and whiles explaining something to him was about to throw it into the fire.
"This is Prince Dexter's room, he sleeps on the left side of the bed whiles Blossom his wife will sleep on the right. The wardrobe has already all her dresses for every day of the year set, so you may throw that case into the fire." The Maid said.
Brick glared at her, she had lost her marbles, instead of destroying the case Brick placed it under the bed and left with the maid back to the hallway, carrying Buttercup's case to her room.
The next room was going to be Bubbles new bedroom. Boomer could already see she will not love it here, just outside of the window was a circus of cruelty, where the animals were being tortured to death, Bubbles was an animal lover, but Prince Cody doesn't seem too interested to like an animal at all, as well on the floor lay a rare Siberian dead tiger as a rug and on his walls were several dears and pigs heads and even stuffed falcons.
"Prince Cody is a great love for the sports hunting, as well as being the best hunter in the land he also has every right to kill any wild animal he wants." Another maid told him.
Boomer didn't need telling, he could just tell by the way the room was designed, he hoped that Prince Cody will change his way's if he ever want's to love Princess Bubbles fully and not break her heart.
Next Brick carried Buttercup's case to Prince Mitch's bedroom Brick was quite shocked to find several mini outfits, most likely for Buttercup to wear and sex whips. This guy looked like he was sex crazy, Brick knew the instant that Prince Mitch wasn't likely going to be a loyal Prince, king or even husband. Dough the room he guessed was supposed to be cleaned Brick could smell the discussing stench of a female's body. Brick quickly placed the case down and left the room before he would hunt the prince down and kill him.
"If he ever breaks Princess Buttercup's heart, I will inform Butch about it and he can hunt that Prince down and castrate him. Hi, hi, hi, it will look so cool." Brick thought to himself quietly.
Quickly he left the room, keeping those thoughts to himself and returning to his other two brothers, then waiting for Boomer.
Last Boomer placed Princess Bunny's case in Prince Alex's bedroom, this guy was more like a joke, it looked like a children's nursery more than anything else, he had 2 shelves filled with toys, books about stuff that a 6-year-old would read, and even his bed had the famous childhood lovely on it: Winnie the Poo.
"Poor Bunny, she has to live with a baby as a husband. What is Prince Alex thinking of anyway?" Boomer asked himself.
Boomer shook his head as he left the childhood bedroom, poor Bunny, she will have to raise Prince Alex out of his childhood into manhood, and he could even guess that the guy hasn't even lost his virginity. Boomer chuckled quietly and walked off to the training grounds of the guards with his brothers.
As Brick and Boomer placed the cases away they meet up with Butch and Bruiser, they each could use their own techniques to impress the other knight's. But they were a bit impressed that they almost mastered the higher knight's code. But not by far, what the knights of the Princes learned pretty early on is to impress younger knights as themselves they had to train them up and hard.
"Impressive Rowdyruff's, we can train you even further up then the third-ranking requires. Come, over there are 2 pot's each, take the long staff, launch both of them into the air and when you hit the right centre they shall split and destroy the pottery. Like this." One of the higher knights explained to them.
He did it and it worked, Brick, Boomer, Butch and Bruiser were very impressed and tried it themselves, Boomer, Brick and Bruiser missed, but Butch stupidly struck Boomer's pottery by accident. The knights trained even harder and noticed by this training their aim, reaction time and even there aiming skills were rising very drastic. It made them feel proud of each other so much.
With the Princesses
Princess Blossom walked around the castle and found the library, which also suited as a laboratory, she was well impressed, Blossom entered and scanned the books on the shelves to see if there was something she would like to read whiles she waited for her future husband. As she found a book called Inheritance she was well interested. Blossom picked the big book up, sat in the orange armchair and started reading, as she reached the 10th chapter the doors opened again and in came Prince Dexter.
He had orange short hair, blue eyes and only a 2 pack, Blossom wasn't that impressed with her future husband. As he spotted that he wasn't alone on this day in the library he first glared at Blossom, but after recognising her he nodded.
"I'm presuming your name is Princess Blossom, welcome to our future kingdom. How was your journey?" Prince Dexter asked his soon-to-be-wife.
"We travelled quite well thank you for asking. And thank you for welcoming us, Prince Dexter. Shall you join me for the reading?" Blossom asked her son-to-be-husband.
"Sorry Blossom, but you have to get changed into your ball gown for this evening's ball, I learned a long time ago that Princesses need a lot of time to prepare for a big ball." Prince Dexter told his wife.
"Oh, we weren't informed that there was going to be one. Very well, thank you for warning me, your highness." Blossom said.
Blossom then left the library and returned to her chamber to get washed and changed into a ball gown, she was surprised at the maid handed her a light orange dress with no sequels, no diamonds, just a plain orange dress. Blossom growled under her breath, she has seen nicer dresses on her own ladies in waiting then what Prince Dexter was offering her. But to not be rude she let herself be placed into this hideous dress. The maid put Blossom's hair up and placed a small golden crown on her hair. She was ready for the ball.
With Princess Bubbles
Bubbles absolutely hated her dress, it was made out of expensive peacock feathers as well as a white wolf fur and as a crown, she got some stupid rabbit ear stuff. Bubbles was so furious she wanted to tear the dress off. But Bubbles tried to calm down… with little success.
"If I already freak out about this coat then I don't even want to begin thinking what Buttercup and Bunny are doing at the moment." Bubbles thought to herself.
With Buttercup and Bunny
Buttercup and Bunny were fighting all the way every maid that dared to try and help them, both girls tore up most of the expensive ball gown dresses that were offered to them because the colour scheme for the two that were chosen was white and grey. It was not very nice colours. Suddenly Bunny had an idea and grinned a bit evil at the maids.
"Um Princess Bunny, what is it? What dress do you want to wear?" One maid asked them scared.
Bunny whispered something to Buttercup and she looked at her a bit confused, then looked at the maid's dresses, their maids had green and violet dresses as well, both of the girls favourite colours. Before they even let the maids speak again Buttercup grabbed a rope, tied both maids up and Bunny quickly got their swords and pointed it at the girls' troughs. Both maids looked petrified and fell to their knees begging for their lives.
"Please your highness, we didn't mean to upset you, please spear our lives, we have family's to feed back home." The two maids begged.
"Don't worry, so far we have never taken a life of an innocent person, the only demand we have for you two is to remove the dresses and give them us to wear. Now, hide behind the bannister over there, and then put on any of the dresses you offered us to wear. We will wear your dresses to the ball. They are so far the only dresses that look the nicest." Buttercup instructed them.
The maids shivered, but nodded, vanished behind the bannister, got quickly out of the green and violet dresses and handed them back to the Princesses, Buttercup took a thin brown dress out and gave that the green dressed maid, Bunny got a pink dress and handed that to the second maid. The maids first helped the princesses (dough a bit embarrassing in their underpants) into their maid dresses. After the princesses were dressed they helped the maids into their gowns, the maid's quickly cut them up a bit to make them look less worthless than their own serving uniforms. Then with the right diamonds, sapphires and rubies, they fashioned the maid's uniforms to make them look like the most expensive ball gowns the world has ever seen. Buttercup and Bunny then went to their other two sisters to see how they all looked like.
At the ball
As the Princesses got to the stairs which lead down to the ballroom they were meet up with the Princes and there knight's. Sir Brick, Sir Boomer, Sir Butch and Sir Bruiser each stood straight as an arrow at the foot of the stairs and looked at the Princesses, Princess Buttercup quickly looked around, written something on a notebook and sent it folded as an aeroplane down to Sir Butch. He looked a bit confused as the paper aeroplane landed smack bang in his hand, he looked around and quickly unfolded the paper. On it stood in a very good writing.
You have to announce me, Sir Boomer has to announce Princess Bubbles, Sir Bruiser has to announce Princess Bunny and Sir Brick has to announce Princess Blossom. Start with the oldest, please. PBC.
Sir Butch looked quickly around and handed the note to the other knight's. His brother's nodded and Boomer looked around of what they could use to announce them properly, next to him was a horn guy thing, Boomer knew exactly what to do, he quickly stole the horn, blew into it and the howl ballroom remained dead silence and looked to Boomer. He smiled, thanked the horn man and nodded to Brick, he nodded, stepped forward and faced the crowd, Princess Blossom was ready to walk down the stairs.
"Announcing, her royal highness, Princess Blossom Utonium, future bride of Prince Dexter," Brick called out loud and clear.
The howl ballroom applauded, from the other side of the stairs Prince Dexter came up, walked to Princess Blossom, took her hand, kissed it and looked deep into her eyes. He had on a royal orange suite, plastered with fake medal's, Blossom was even sure he never earned one truthfully and that they all were fake.
"I'm honoured to dance with you tonight my queen." Prince Dexter said smiling at Blossom.
"Um… The honoree is all mine, King Dexter. Shall we get to the dance floor?" Blossom asked her future husband.
"Of course, my love." Prince Dexter said.
The two walked down to the ballroom floor, spun once around before getting into a waltz position. Now they had to wait for the others. Sir Brick scanned the area off to make sure nothing will go wrong on the dance. If there was an ambush he will be ready to defend the crown's till he died.
As they were in position Brick had to nudge on Sir Boomer to get him to announce Princess Bubbles. She stood behind him and giggled at his shyness. Boomer quickly jumped out of his dreamland where he was the one waltzing with Bubbles again, he nodded and read from the same boring scroll.
"Announcing, her royal highness, Princess Bubbles Utonium, future bride of Prince Cody." Boomer called out loud and clear, dough a bit wobbly.
Bubbles chuckled at Boomer's cuteness, and his cute blush across his rosy cheeks, if she would be in private with him, she would have given him a hug and a kiss, right there and then. But as to not do anything that wasn't ladylike, she picked the outside of her blue ball gown, walked down the steps and walked up to her future husband. In her thoughts, she was already giving him a right ass whooping. He was not her dream Prince. Dough Prince Cody was jumping with excitement to dance with the most beautiful girl he has ever seen. Prince Cody leaned close to Princess Bubbles and whispered something disgusting in her ear.
"I can't wait to get you into the private bedroom Princess Bubbles. You will give me your virginity my love." Prince Cody whispered quietly in her ear.
Boomer had to restrain himself from tackling Prince Cody to the ground, rip his royal balls out and shove them to his big fat smelling mouth. He breathes in and out to try and stay calm, Sir Butch saw quickly the stress that Boomer was put through and quietly sent a small tackle through the ground. It hit Prince Cody right in his back leg making him wimp quietly, he looked around glaring at the knight's asking himself who had done it. Boomer thanked Butch and waited for the rest of the night.
Next Buttercup stood at the top of the stairs in her self-made maid uniform. Butch had to admit, it was truly a beautiful dress, Prince Mitch looked very disapproving at herself made green maid dress with quickly sown in sequels from the black and white dresses she was offered. He himself was dressed in black and white.
"Announcing, her royal highness, Princess Buttercup Utonium, future bride of Prince Mitch," Butch called out loud and clear, with a strong hint of hatred towards the Prince.
Buttercup smiled a little fake smile as she walked down the stairs. Prince Mitch just glared, and then took her arm very roughly, almost making her scream at him.
"Why haven't you worn any of the dresses that were at your disposal Buttercup?" Mitch snapped at his future bride mad.
"Well I am sorry that my dress style is not to your liking Prince Mitch, but all the dresses your maids offered me were just plain boring and not my style at all, me and Bunny made our own dresses, you'd better get all the dresses in our room switched over for green and violet if you want to keep us in court. Otherwise, I will not hesitate to destroy everything that you have ever built up." Buttercup snapped back at her prince.
Mitch grip on Buttercup's arm tightened as his anger roes, Butch spotted instantly and pulled Buttercup free from his grasp before yanking the little bit smaller prince by his royal hair.
"If you ever hurt her like that one more time, even if you bite her lip, you will wish you would have been killed in a war. I will spit on the royal guard's code just to keep her happy. Am I understood?" Butch snapped at Mitch quiet.
Mitch quickly tuned white, Butch was so serious he even pulled a small dagger out and held it to the Prince through ready to cut his head off, Mitch wanted to scream and get Butch thrown in jail, but he knew if he would he will lose his head faster, then he can sign the death order. He just nodded, Butch let the Prince go and stand again next to his brothers who glared at him for doing that.
Bruiser glared at his brother so much he almost missed his time to call Princess Bunny, she had to stand next to him and let a small cough out. He nodded then stood straight as an arrow ready to announce the princess.
"Announcing, her royal highness, Princess Bunny Utonium, future bride of Prince Alex," Bruiser called out loud and clear, with a strong hint of hatred towards the Prince just like Butch.
"Thank you." Princess Bunny whispered to Bruiser.
He nodded and she walked down to meet her future husband. He was a lot more mannered than Mitch, he took her hand, spun her around and stood next to the other 4 princes.
"I'd like to apologise for my friend's misbehaviour towards your sister Princess Bunny." Prince Alex whispered to her.
"Why? Is he not man enough to tell me that himself? Well accepted, but our knights are not kidding, if they say they will kill you, just to keep us safe then I think they will." Bunny whispered back.
"Hu, ha, ha, ha, that is a good joke, those 4 knights of yours don't even seem to be able to hold their own, let alone protect you, you 4 need real men to protect you, not 4 girls in medals and underpants. Hi, hi, hi." Prince Alex laughs.
"they so do, I know, organise for tomorrow a royal jousting competition, your 4 chosen knights against our 4, whoever wins out of 4 events will be the better guard," Bunny said.
"Ok, a jousting it will be my dear. Now let's dance." Prince Alex said.
The dance continued, but Boomer could clearly see that Princess Bubbles was getting even more upset, apparently, Prince Cody realised it as well, so he stopped dancing and suddenly vanished from the dance floor. Boomer quickly looked around shocked, spotted a door at the other end of the ballroom open and he ran after her quickly. Prince Cody pulled Princess Bubbles into a secret room and locked it. Bubbles got really scared, thinking that he will rape her, she was about to scream as he placed his hand over her mouth.
"Please Princess Bubbles, don't scream. I just want to talk with you. It is serious." Prince Cody said.
Bubbles looked confused left and right, before taking a deep breath and nodded. They heard a knock on the door. It was her knight: Sir Boomer.
"Princess Bubbles, is everything ok in there?" Sir Boomer asked her.
"Yes Boomer, don't worry, his Highness Prince Cody just wants to talk with me, we will be out shortly." Bubbles said honestly.
"Ok, but if he hurts you, just scream and I'll batter the door down as well as his brains," Sir Boomer said.
"My, he has no respect," Prince Cody said.
Bubbles nodded before looking at Prince Cody to tell her, what he wanted to tell her. He took a deep breath before taking her hand and looking very serious.
"Well, Princess Bubbles… I have come to the conclusion that you don't love me. And nor do your 3 other sister's love my 3 other brother's… am I right?" Prince Cody asked her.
Bubbles cried a bit, how did Prince Cody, manage to look through her and realise how she really is, not even her sisters could do that. Bubbles nodded before sighing and looked back at Prince Cody.
"I… I'm really sorry Prince Cody, I really will try and like you better… but I don't know if I can give you my heart… for somebody already has won it over." Bubbles said sadly.
"Please Bubbles, don't marry me, nor should your sisters marry my brother's, each of you should get your real love. The 4 men that have proven themselves, to be more than the average man, prince or even a commoner man deserve to be your husband. I'll talk with my 4 brother's to see if we can come to an agreement to unite our country's without having to marry you. Ok Bubbles?" Prince Cody asked her.
Bubbles stared at Prince Cody shocked, he was so understandable. And really sweet, Bubbles nodded. Then the two walked back to the dance floor with Boomer just a few steps behind them.
As the dance was over the knights each respectively lead the Princesses to their chambers with their guards a few feet behind them, as they reached the chambers safe and sound each prince gave there princess a kiss goodnight and then asked their bodyguards of the princesses to stand outside of the princesses bedroom doors to keep them safe. The Rowdyruffboy's each nodded before wishing the princes a save night.
