Lily is sitting against a building. The building is a small red brick building. It's situated near a barber shop named "Mac's". Lily stares at the cement, with her ears down. Lily is only saying in her head that she wants to be home, out of the cold wind. She doesn't know how to get food outside the wild, she just wants help. No one stops by her, no one helps. All they do is look and continue their walk.
Fate is always present, and she is finally confronted by a well being that has heart. It's a lady wearing a white jacket and a jeans. For the weather, she is wearing heels that expose her skin, a strange choice.
"Hey little one, are you waiting for someone?" She crouches down.
Lily lifts her head up, and stares back with her puppy eyes.
Lily opens her mouth. "H-Home."
The lady removed her happy expression. "Home? Are you lost?"
Lily's mouth started to quiver.
"Oh no, no no, don't cry! I'll help you."
Lily's eyes started to shine, "F-Food?"
"Do you live here in the city, or no?"
Lily nodded. "F-Food."
The lady wraps her hands around Lily's body. She is adjusted until she fits on the lady's arms, in cradle position.
"Don't you worry about that, I'll get you something."
She walks away from the building, and heads south from it.
They arrive at a house with yellow stucco and a lot more flowers outside than my house. Her house has the most flowers of the others, and its easy to figure out with just a glance. The house is in a neighborhood that is situated in the southern part of the city. Inside, it's well cleansed and neatly set up. As they enter, there is one Pokemon visible on the chair, a Skitty. But another Pokemon runs downstairs, a Zigzagoon. It lets out it's cry.
The lady asks Lily a question. "Do you have a name?"
"L-Lily."
"That's a wonderful name."
The lady goes towards the dining table, and set Lily on top of the table.
"Now wait here, I'll get something for you to eat." Lily cracks a smile. A Pichu and a Piplup enter the kitchen.
My eyes opened, and I shook once, like after a dream of falling. I brushed my hair away from my left eye to be in the middle of my face. Looking up, Shawn's eyes are shut. I took my head of his chest, sat up, and looked at the alarm clock. It's currently near five-forty in the morning. I turned to Shawn and started shaking him.
"Shawn, Shawn, Shawn! Wake up!"
Shawn lets out a quiet groan.
"Shawn, please! I think I may know where Lily is!"
Shawn groans, but sits up and yawns. He wipes his eyes and looks at me.
"I had a visionary dream."
"Shawn finishes stretching. "But it's only a dream Maize."
"No, no. You don't understand, just hear me out. My dreams are helpful!"
"Well, since I don't know if you really can know someones whereabouts by a dream, you better know where Lily is."
"We're going to try and find that location, and I'm going based on clues." I pushed him lightly. "Come on, get dressed."
We got a switch of clothes, our jackets and shoes, and we were ready to set foot outside. Today is even colder than yesterday. My thin form shows otherwise it's cold. I can imagine being in winter again, I hate the cold.
"Okay, so we're heading to a barber shop called 'Mac's', then we'll go south from there until we get to a neighborhood with one house full of flowers."
He puffed a laugh, like he's disagreeing. "You sure that your dream is going to help?"
I nodded. "I'm extremely positive."
The sun is barely up, the world is lit slightly, and the sky is a faint dark blue. I kept saying in my head, "It's real, it's real, it's real!"
The wind started to kick in more, and I'm shivering, even with this jacket that I'm wearing. Though, this jacket is only cotton and doesn't cover my abdomen by much. I wish I was more adapted to this climate like the humans here. Maybe some body heat will help, and there isn't many people walking on the sidewalk.
I walked closer to Shawn and put my head on Shawn's left shoulder.
"It's so cold Shawn. I'm not sure how you're fine." I exhaled, but it's not cold enough to show my breath.
He chuckled. "Hang on, this will look stupid, but it will help." He started to unzip his puffy jacket, and then wrapped the left side of his coat around me with his left arm. I took my head off. I cupped my hands and put my arms in an "X" shape, kind of what I do when I try to act cute.
"Thank you." He's so warm compared to me. I guess my average body temperature is lower than his. His body is always warmer than mine, or so he says that I'm always somewhat cold.
We continued walking and stayed wrapped. We didn't see a lot of people. Occasionally, we may walk by one every minute, but we didn't care if that person saw we are wrapped, it doesn't prove anything.
The search for the barber shop took a long time to find. The day is bright by the time we found it. Shawn takes out his cellphone.
"Six-forty-seven."
"Whoa, that took an hour?"
"Pretty much. So what now?"
I looked at the barber shop. "Okay, now we go left, or really, south."
It's still cold, so Shawn continued to cover me. We kept going south, passing the now more populated sidewalks.
I thought about the bigger houses we've been passing. "So Shawn, you ever plan on getting a new house, preferably somewhere more isolated?"
"No, but it would be nice so we wouldn't have neighbor complaints."
I giggle back. "Well, when that day happens."
A brief silence.
"So, how much did you really miss me?"
I looked back at him. "Enough to say that you should play a song for me."
He put out his natural smile. "Song? You're speaking influential now?"
I shined my teeth back. "No silly! You know how to play a guitar, and I want to hear you're talent!"
He sighs. "You were digging in my room when I was gone, huh?"
"Mmm, maybe?"
He looks ahead of us. "Someday, for you."
Surprisingly, the neighborhood is almost straight across from the barber. All it took was to keep going south, taking no more than fifteen minutes.
I bumped Shawn with my right elbow. "Okay, keep an eye out for a house with a huge amount of flowers."
Shawn and I walked to house to house. So far at the entrance, we do not see any houses with a large amount of flowers in the front yard.
Shawn spoke up. "I'll say it again, I really hope you know what you're doing."
"I know what I'm doing Shawn."
We continued to walk, and we're nearing the end of the neighborhood. I started to get worried, but I'm positive Lily is in a home with a pleasant lady. We looked, and looked, until we finally reached the last houses at a dead end.
We and Shawn stopped on the sidewalk.
"I'm positive Lily is in this exact neighborhood, but I don't see a house like it."
I exhaled. I didn't want to give up here.
"Well, I'm not sure about you, but I'm willing to knock on everyone's door."
I thought it over. Finally, I sighed and agreed. "Okay, just to hopefully find Lily." I then remembered. "Oh wait, in my dream, the lady has a lot of Pokemon, so we can definitely ask the people for a lady who cares for Pokemon!"
"Yeah, use that brain of yours!"
We headed to the house in the center relative to the cul-de-sac.
There was a doorbell button, and Shawn rung it. A faint chime emitted in the house. We stood there for about ten seconds before the door opened with a man who appears to be in his middle ages.
He greeted us. "Hello you two." He's wearing a green cotton shirt and beige pants. He's also wearing glasses with big lenses.
Shawn and I both say hi back together. Then Shawn continued. "We're looking for the house of a lady who collects and cares for Pokemon."
"Kelly? She doesn't collect, but she does care for them. She's at house 217. Her house is the only one with a brown wood fence around the her front lawn, somewhere in the middle of the neighborhood."
"Thank you."
"You're welcome, and boy is it chilly today. Stay warm!"
I realize Shawn and I are still wrapped. Both me and Shawn chuckle, and we turn around.
"This neighborhood looks so suburban compared to ours, it-" I stopped because I see a house with a brown fencing. No flowers though. I put over towards the house. "Shawn, over there!"
He grinned. "If it wasn't for you, we might never know about this."
I hummed in agreement.
A quick minute walk is all it took. I didn't wait and opened the screen door to knock. Whenever I knock, it's more of a thump sound than a clack sound. Well, okay maybe there's a faint clack. We stood out there for about twenty seconds, before I knocked again. The door opened as I finished knocking.
A young lady is present. She's brown haired, set up into a ponytail, a long ponytail. It reaches her shoulders. She's wearing a faint pink t-shirt that seems tight, and black jeans that are slim. Her slippers are pink and have cute Jigglypuffs smiling. She's really pretty, and she smells like pomegranate.
She looked at us with a fairly lit face. "Why hi there! You must be new here."
Shawn introduces us. "Well, I'm Shawn." and he turns his head to me. "And this lovely Gardevoir is Maize."
"Well hi you two!" She must have seen us wrapped together. "Hey, come in, you must be cold!"
"Thank you."
She whistled. "You're a talker too? That's so cool!"
Inside, we're greeted with a living room full of Pokemon, around eight! They're all so small and they're just staring at us with their small eyes. It's way to cute in here!
She introduces herself. "Well, I'm Kelly, and as you see, I love Pokemon!"
I chuckle and fade to a reply. "It's a pleasure to meet you."
"You both as well!" A Spearow flies in and lands on the arm of the sofa. "So, what brings you two here?" She asks.
I was going to talk, but Shawn answered before I did.
"We're here because Maize says that our Minun is here, or at least in her dream."
Kelly grins widely. "Lily, I presume?"
Yes! Yes, it's true!
I clapped my hands together. "Yes! Lily is our Minun!"
Kelly and I laugh, makes me wonder if Shawn is feeling awkward.
"Well, Lily is sleeping in her bed. Why don't we go upstairs to check on her?"
"Yes, please!" I'm happy as I can be. Shawn and I unwrap, and I pull him with me upstairs.
We walked up to a door right next to the final step of the stairs. Inside is a room full of fluffy beds, I guess for all the Pokemon she cares for. I counted seven beds total. This room however, doesn't smell as pleasing as downstairs, but its tolerable. Smells kind of like wood shop.
"Okay! Lily is sleeping over there, with Plum, the Pichu.
"Yesterday, she kept saying 'Maize,' or at the time, I thought she was saying 'maze' as in the puzzle!"
I laugh in my mouth. Kelly goes up to Lily, who is sleeping on her side on the fluffy rectangular bed on the ground. The Pichu is sleeping in it's back, lightly snoring.
Shawn and I walk behind Kelly. She lightly touched Lily on her right arm.
In a soft and slow voice, "Lily, wake up, you have a surprise!"
Kelly wiggled her finger against Lily's abdomen. Lily laughs in a high pitched cuteness. Lily opens her eyes at Kelly.
"Lily, you got some visitors! You want to say hi?"
Lily gets up quickly and perks her ears. She rotates to our direction. When her eyes locked on me, her mouth slightly open. Her eyes shine, and she comes racing towards me. I crouch down and ready my arms to grab her. The impact is small. I cradle her, as she clings on to me chest.
Lily clings to my shoulders. "M-Mom."
I laugh in relief, I almost wanted to tear up in joy. I look back at Kelly. "I-I don't know what else we can say other than, 'thank you so much!' We were so worried!"
Kelly smiles back. "It's a pleasure. If you ever need someone to care for Lily for awhile, I'm always free!"
"Thank you! We'll remember you, and Lily wouldn't mind going here for a visit here and there. Do you?"
Lily shook her head.
Kelly said something. "I guess you guys want to leave now. I know. However, hang on, I can probably get you something."
Kelly went in a floor cabinet next to smaller bed next to the Pichu's bed. She took out a small paper bag of grepa berries, and a pink bow. It's about the same size as the bow I wore when I was younger.
"She really likes this bow, and she has a taste for grepa berries!"
Everything she says is in an excited tone, she really takes pride in what she does.
"Thank you Kelly."
"No problem! I guess you guys will be heading out."
Shawn budded in. "Y-Yeah, I guess so. We'll drop by if we drop Lily off."
"Okee-dokie!"
Lily in my arms, Shawn and I together. We're finally back in a group. We walk downstairs and exit the house. And oh man, that wind gust as we left didn't feel good!
Home sweet home! Back at last, and with everyone here. It's now nine in the morning. All of us return to doing our thing; Television is sometimes boring. Sometimes, my hasty self just wants to do activities to be active. But as long as we are all together under this roof, I'm happy. I just hope now that nothing goes wrong with us between the laws now. That would be awful, so very awful.
