The blackout was short lived. Conscious again, I see that I am cradled upon Shawn's arms, with Lily on my chest. Outside of Walter's house, still daylight, we are waiting on the sidewalk by the nearby gas station. The scent of gasoline filled my senses.

Lily is hiccuping, and Shawn is standing still, looking straight ahead.

I speak up softly. "S-Shawn?" I roll my fingers on his neck.

He didn't respond, but I knew he was happy to see me okay. Lily looks at me, but continues to hiccup, as a taxi drives up to the nearby curb by us.

The taxi ride was nothing more than silence. After paying and going back in our home, all three of us sit on the living room sofa, Lily cradled on my arms.

"Shawn? Are you okay?" I nuzzle his body.

He didn't move his head, and kept looking straight, where the television that is off is set.

"We're moving, away from here. A place where we can express ourselves."

I put on a confused face. "Moving? Really?"

Shawn got up and walked to the direction of the bedroom, entering the room. I stay put, and decided to ask Lily about her incident.

Calling her name, she looks up to me and makes a cute little sigh.

"What did you and Douglas do?"

She looked away from me. "N-Nothing."

"Oh, come on now."

"W-We," She paused, "we may have kissed."

"Hmm, anything else?"

"N-No."

I started to pet her head. "Not going to mention mating?"

Her ears perked. "No, we didn't m-mate."

"Really? Why did Walter say you did?"

She frowned. "H-He thought we did. We didn't."

"Oh, alright." I smile at her.

Shawn came back to the sofa. He had his wallet and his cellphone. He was looking at a website on his phone, with pictures of planes and people.

"I'm going to get a ticket, I don't care how much it is."

I opened my mouth in disbelief. "You are serious?"

He jumped up a bit. "Got it, we can buy a ticket to depart two days from now."

"Why are you in such a hurry?"

"Don't you want us to live peacefully, as soon as possible?"

"I guess. Where is the place you are thinking of going?"

"I'm thinking of Parvanima. A place pretty much like this, about 2000 miles from here."

At that moment, my eyes widened. "That's extremely far from here! What about your friends and family?"

"I have no friends here. My family, I could care less."

I frowned in disappointment in him. But, if it's for us, I guess I'm up for that.

The time has past two days, and we were at the airport. Shawn lent the house bills over to his family, where they should pay until the month ends. All the furniture was left behind. However, we brought in two of our luggage with picture books, clothing, some memorial things, as well as Shawn's diary and all of Shawn's money from his bank and wallet. Shawn's broken vehicle was payed to be towed to Rachel's house. If we were to mess up now, we could very well be broke and homeless.

Lots of people are around, walking around. We sit for a very long time at the airport, waiting for the call of our plane. We did get some breakfast. Shawn got a cheese, egg and sausage sandwich. I got myself an egg omelet with bell peppers. Lily got devil eggs, she didn't want anything else unless I picked that.

We sat and ate our breakfast, or brunch since it's around noon. The omelet was amazing, better than I thought it was going to be. Lily said the devil eggs are tasty, but slippery on her fingerless hands. She dropped one, but luckily landed on the bowl she had next to her.

After eating, things went back to be boring. We sat there, watching news on the hanging monitor. Shawn says we have an hour left to wait. The announcement should happened around two in the afternoon.

I let Lily rest under my jacket, and I rest my head on Shawn's shoulder.

"Shawn, thank you."

I lifted my head and tapped his shoulder with my finger. Shawn. Turning his head to me, I brushed my lips against his. I smooched him, for a few seconds, totally disregarding the other people. I don't care, I won't be coming back here.

Shawn pulled away, and I lie my head on his shoulder once again. But, as soon as I did, an announcement was made. Our plane has arrived.

*I'm so sorry to leave this such a short chapter, but I want this story to be over with, and as much as I would continue this story, the way I wanted to do requires another story taken two years after this story. Cliffhanger aside, you should hopefully see a continuation of this story soon. Why do I want to make a separate story? The writing will not only be from one perspective, allowing more creativity and events. I hope you understand, and I apologize for updating a month later with less than 1,000 words added.
