Duel Arena
Yusei POV
"Hey Misty, I know that you like doing this but please get off, this is embarrassing. The whole academy is looking at us," Yusei said to his current passenger.
"Shush now Yu-kun," Misty replied, placing her finger on his lips, effectively earning the ire of Yusei's fan club from their seats.
"Carly introduced me to a friend of hers a while ago and I'm betting that you're definitely her type," added Misty to her blushing friend.
"You know that I don't have time to go on a date, let alone enter a relationship," Yusei said, fidgeting slightly hide his growing concern in his pants.
Misty slapped his cheek playfully. "Naughty, naughty Yu-kun, try to keep yourself under control," she mischievously said.
"You're the one who sat on me," cried Yusei, trying to keep his cool.
"Fine," she replied while removing herself from his lap. "And I wasn't telling you to date my friend already. You guys haven't met yet. I know that you're the type to think things through. Wanting to be friends first and knowing the other better before placing a verdict. You can really be an uptight guy sometimes."
"So why tell me that I'm her kind of guy? From your tone, she's not the type to voice out her secrets so easily," asked Yusei.
"Woman's intuition Yus, and you two would look cute together. All I know is that she'll fall for you fast and hard. Think of it as a gift from me. A stubborn dense guy like yourself would end up hurting others that's why I'm giving you the head's up. You really need a girlfriend to take care of you," Misty stated.
"I'm still not buying into this. And I can take care of myself properly. Besides, it sounds like your forcing your friend of yours to do something she doesn't like," Yusei said.
"Just be friends with her okay? She's new here and doesn't know anyone except Carly and me. And try to open your eyes to the smallest of details. Who knows? I may be right," she answered with a wink.
Yusei mouthed a silent 'fine' to her before finally focusing on the duel at hand. Jack and Crow's life points are at a measly 500 apiece. One more attack and this duel is over. Its Crow's turn now and he has more monsters out than Jack; his Black-Winged Dragon, Blackwing Armor Monster, Blackwing – Gale the Whirlwind and Bora the Spear. If Crow uses his Gale's special ability, Jack's Archfiend would only have 1500 ATK points, thus enabling Crow to win this. On the other hand, Jack still has two face-down cards on the field.
"I'm betting those cards of his are game changers. If Crow wants to win this, he needs to take those cards out first, considering he has only monster cards on the field," Yusei thought.
Duel Stage
Crow POV
"What now, there's nothing in my hand to destroy those face down cards of his. If I attack now, it might backfire. On one hand, not attacking doesn't guarantee that I'll survive until the next turn," Crow thought as he contemplates what his move is gonna be.
"What's wrong Crow? Cat got your tongue? Don't tell me that my Archfiend alone is making you consider to forfeit, it won't be satisfying to win like that," mocked Jack.
"Okay, that's it. I just have had enough of your blabbering. I activate Gale's special ability. It halves one of my opponent's monster's ATK and DEF points. That means your Archfiend drops to a mere 1500," Crow stated.
"Now Black-Winged Dragon, blow his Archfiend away with Dark Energy Burst," Crow continued.
Jack POV
Jack watched Crow's attack come closer to his Red Dragon Archfiend before smirking. "Did you really think that I'll let myself get beaten by the likes of you?" thought Jack.
"I activate my Trap Card, Desert Sunlight. When this card is activated it switches one of my monsters to DEF, leaving my life points unharmed," Jack continued, before shielding his eyes from the light caused by destruction of his card.
"I still have three more attacks left, you can't save yourself from all of them," countered Crow.
"I don't have to. I activate my other trap, Backfire. True to its name, when a Fire-attributed type monster is destroyed, it deals 500 points of damage back to the attacker. And since my Archfiend's attribute is Fire, you lose 500 points of damage and this duel due to your over eagerness," Jack said fiercely.
"N-no way," Crow spoke, watching his life points drop to 0. "Oh well, at least I won our bet."
"Just what are you blabbering on about now?" Jack asked incredulously.
"That whoever wins by a damage dealt by one of our dragons gets to be treated for a whole day, courtesy of the loser of course," Crow reminded.
"That's ridiculous; I don't remember agreeing to any bet. Especially one's that includes you," Jack shouted.
Normal POV
Once the duel finished, fans from both duelists began cheering them on and arguing with one another on who is the better duelist. Both Jack and Crow can still be seen fighting over their so-called bet with Yusei trying not to get involved.
"And that concludes today's special event," began Misty. "Hope you guys have a great year in the academy," she finished. Before walking away, Misty gave the crowd a blow of kisses then turned and headed towards the exit.
Ladies room (15 minutes earlier)
A certain girl can be heard shouting and arguing before squealing and breaking into a fit of giggles and laughter.
Aki POV
"It's official, I'm starting to lose my sanity," Aki thought to herself while washing her hands with liquid soap profusely.
"I agree with you," started her conscience, "To think that you have the guts to do that in a public place, let alone screaming 'Yusei, Yusei! Don't stop'. If you're going to pl—"but was cut off by Akiza.
"Not. Another. Word. I know that it wasn't the best place to do that but I needed the stress relief," answered Aki.
"You do remember that this conversation is only inside your head and I'm more or less your creation," Akiza's conscience said.
"Great, just great, my very first day in school and I learn that I have a frisky side of me," Aki thought as she face palms herself.
"I better go back and apologize to Carly for bolting like that," she murmured.
"You should pick up the pace, Misty might be stripping off Yusei's clothes right now," mused my conscience.
Hearing that, I ran. I don't know if I'm planning to yell at Misty to stop and let Yusei go or let her continue to bare some of Yusei's tanned skin. "On second thought, I don't wanna know."
