Hi, I'm here with a new chapter. It may have been two weeks since I last updated but i don't care.

Roxas: She's been sick for the past couple days. She should be sleeping but she loves me too much. As you can tell from later in the chapter.

Sora: Whatever, she loves us so I'm good. She managed to finish this chapter and will go to bed soon.

Anyways, the disclaimer. I do not own Kingdom Hearts or any other games/movies/books that I have taken stuff from. Have fun, enjoy the chapter, review the chapter and then rate it and favorite it pretty please.

Chapter 10: The Aftermath Part 1

"Sydney, Sydney, wake up, wake up. Please wake up soon." I heard Sora say from my right side, I could feel someone holding onto my left hand but I couldn't tell who it was.

"She's not gonna wake with all your pleading Sora. She'll wake up on her own time." Roxas told him and I heard the sound of a slap against the back of someone's head and the muffled sound of an ow.

"Why am I the only one caring Roxas?" Sora asked him.

"What makes you think that I don't care Sora? I'm not you, I will never be you no matter how hard you want me to. Sydney is the only one who truly understands me." Roxas said and I figured it was time for me to wake up. I lightly twitched my hand and the arguing stopped. I opened my eyes only to close them again due to the harsh bright light of the sun. A few minutes later, I opened my eyes once more to see Roxas and Sora standing over top of me.

"Sydney, are you really awake?" Sora asked me poking my cheek.

"Yes, now stop poking me and get to class." I told him as I looked down at my hand to see that Roxas was holding it. Sora huffed and puffed but he grabbed his bag and walked out of the infirmary. I looked up at Roxas to see that he was inches away from my face. I started to blush and he had the confused look in his eyes which was just super cute- what the hell am I thinking inside of my own head? I can't think that Roxas is cute, that would just make everything weird and what not. After a few seconds, he finally realized the space and backed away a bit and started blushing himself.

"So, what happened?" I asked him as he sat down at the edge of my bed. He stayed quiet for a few minutes thinking about what happened.

"Well, after your first fall, you landed on a heartless, then battled them, then somehow you were on the wall and then you ended up in the air and before you hit the ground, Dumbledore said a spell that saved you from dying and you had the egg in your arms so you passed onto the next task." Roxas said as he started rubbing his thumb against my hand. "What happened to make you go against the wall and then appear in mid-air with the egg?" He asked and I sighed.

"I had an Organization XIII member try to stop me. I was about to grab the egg when he pulled me back and threw me against the wall. Then before he disappeared, he threw the egg up in the air so I jumped for it and fell. I blacked out before I could hit the ground." I told him.

"So what are your theories about this now?" He asked after a few minutes of awkward silence.

"Well it could be possible that the Organization has control of the heartless and have been holding them back from us for a reason. They gave us those little three heartless as a way to keep us off guard. Other than that, I got nuthin." I told him just as the doors opened and Dumbledore came in with Sora right behind him.

"Good to see that you are awake Miss Jackson." Dumbledore said once he came to a stop at the end of the hospital bed.

"Nice to see you too Professor Dumbledore." I said as Roxas moved to stand next to my head, letting go of my hand in the process. Sora came and stood on the opposite side of my head looking at Dumbledore with that knowing look on his face as we watched Dumbledore.

"I believe that you three know why I have decided to come here today." Dumbledore said and we just stayed quiet. I had that feeling that he was most likely going to ask us to leave between the tasks. Protecting the safety of the students, staff, visiting guest and whoever else shows up for the tournament by kicking out the people who could cause the most damage.

"You think it would most likely be best for us to leave between the tasks." Sora said looking straight into Dumbledore's eyes. I never seen him so sure of himself and so disappointed at the same time before. Actually, that's not true, I have but never up close like this.

"You would be correct Sora. As we speak, Donald and Goofy are fixing the gummi ship. You will have to return here for the Yule Ball, second and third tasks but other than those times, you can move onto other worlds and help them." He said and I could just feel the air turn to disappointment around us. I knew that we spent too much time in this world but we couldn't help it.

"I guess we should be going than." I told him as I started to get up. I managed to sit up before a stunning pain shot up my spine towards my head, making me cringe in the process. I could feel Sora and Roxas putting their hands on my shoulders, slowly pulling me backing towards the pillows.

"Sydney, you have to rest for the moment. If you do anything that involves moving much, you'll seriously injure yourself even worse." Roxas said as he sat down on the edge of my bed, holding my hand once again. I got that warm feeling coursing through my body once his hand touched mine.

"Donald and Goofy won't be done for a little while so we'll just stay here until they're done." Sora said sitting at the end of the bed, his legs crossed underneath him. Dumbledore must have left while I was trying to get up. So the three of us just sat there and talked for a while.

"Be careful with the flying guys, Sydney is still hurting." Roxas told Sora, Donald and Goofy as we walked onto the gummi ship. Roxas had me on his back so that way I didn't hurt myself with actually walking.

"We will, we will. Now go put her to bed before I take her from you." Sora said moving closer towards Roxas and I. Before I could say anything, Roxas was already running towards my room.

"Roxas, put me down!" I said once we were in my room. He shut the door then started playing with my sheets before actually placing me down.

"There, happy?" He asked and I just giggled. Wait just one minute, I giggled? What is wrong with me once again?

"Yes, very much so." I said before we fell quiet for a few seconds.

"Neither of them were there." He whispered. I sighed because I knew what he was talking about.

"No, neither of them were. I have no idea where they are but we'll find them." I told him before slowly sitting up. After actually sitting up for a minute or two, I grabbed Roxas' hand and pulled him into a hug. "If it makes you feel any better, I don't think that you need them. You're perfect just the way you are." I whispered before we pulled away.

"No Sydney, you're the one that's perfect. The one that makes all of us perfect." He said before we felt the ship take off somewhere. I yawned and felt my eyelids slowly start to close. Roxas made a move to stand up but I stopped him by grabbing his hand.

"Stay with me?" I asked him before he nodded his hand and moved over me to lay on the side of the bed against the wall, facing towards me. I laid my back against him and his arms wrapped around my stomach. With that warm, tingly feeling coursing through me, I closed my eyes and fell asleep to the sound of his breathing.
