Hey, I would have have had this done a little soon since I had the weekend to write with no annoying parents but I had to pick a new world.
Roxas: She had a very hard time but she got it done.
Yes now I think I might crash because I only had like 3 or more hours of sleep last night because of fanfictions. So I do not own Kingdom Hearts or Rise of the Guardians. Rate, review, favorite, do whatever you want unless it's mean then don't be mean because then I might cry.
Chapter 11: Oh no, not happening this time
"Should we wake them?" I heard Sora whisper to Donald and Goofy. For a minute, I thought that this just a dream but it was reality.
"We gotta do it soon. We already have a new world to explore." Goofy said and then I felt somebody's warm breath against my neck. I think I must have froze after feeling that because I wasn't use to somebody in the same bed as me. Suddenly, all the images from last night came to me and my eyes flew open. Sora, Goofy and Donald were on their knees in front of my bed which meant that Roxas was behind me.
"Okay, it's not what it looks like." I said as I unwrapped myself from Roxas. Before they even said a word, I grab their arms and dragged them towards our living\dining area.
"He was about to leave when I asked him to stay. I didn't want to be left alone. If you ever speak of this again, especially to his face, I will not hesitate to kill the three of you." I told them as I started making tea for Roxas and I.
"Okay, but I have one question." Donald said and I just nodded. "Do you have any feelings for Roxas?" He asked and I paused. I couldn't really answer that question because I never really thought about before now. Sure, I liked him...as a friend. But there have been times where I have looked at him in a different light. Where I get that warm feeling just from him touching me and I feel like smiling whenever he walks into a room.
"I don't know at the moment. Just give me some time to figure it out." I told him before pouring tea into two mugs then picking them up moving towards my room.
"Just don't hurt him. Also we'll be heading out in about half an hour." Sora said before getting up and heading to the control deck. I sighed before entering my room. Roxas was already sitting at the edge of my bed.
"I brought you some tea." I said holding a mug towards him. He smiled at me which made my knees go weak. He grabbed the mug, letting his hand brush over mine, giving me that warm tingly feeling.
"Thank you Sydney." He said before taking a sip of his tea. I sat down next to him and started to drink mine as well. We sat there for a little while in silence.
"So apparently we're leaving soon according to Sora." I said putting my mug on the floor. Roxas did the same before turning back towards me.
"Alright, I leave you to get ready." He said before taking both mugs and leaving. Once the door closed, I sighed before I started to get ready for a new world and an awkward explanation.
The first thing we saw once we got off the gummi ship was snow and ice. Despite the fact that we were in the middle of a blizzard in most likely the middle of the North Pole, none of us really felt cold except for Sora but then again, it was Sora.
"Why is there a building in the middle of the North Pole?" Goofy asked pointing towards a big building on the side of a freezing mountain of ice.
"Don't know but lets see what's up." Roxas said before Sora shouted Santa and started running towards the building. Soon the rest of us followed him in order to not lose him again.
"Can we go see Santa?" Sora asked the yetis that were guarding the doors to Santa's workshop. I heard a grunt before opening the doors and letting us in. I didn't think that would work but you never know when you're with the keyblade master. The elevator ride up to the globe level was quite quiet which for once was nice but it could get a bit lonely. I kept glance at Roxas throughout the ride only to catch his eyes. He must have been watching me as well. Once we were on the same level, we could see the tooth fairy looking at Jack Frost's teeth which shine like freshly fallen snow apparently.
"Anyone wanna tell me why I'm here?" Jack asked the guardians before Sandy went on to draw pictures above his head to retell the story. "Uh, that's not really helping,but thanks, little man." Jack said before turning away. "I must've something really bad to get you four together. Am I on the naughty list?" Jack asked to which North (or santa as Sora calls him) laughed in response.
"On Naughty list? You hold the record. But, no matter. We overlook. Now we are wiping clean the slate." North said to which Jack asked how come.
"It's because you are technically a Guardian." I said out loud making everyone turn to look at us.
"Ah, the card keeper and her troop. Waited long time for you to come and you have finally come." North said as he moved towards us, trying to usher us inside.
"Who are they?" Jack asked and the rest of the guardians just shrugged their shoulders.
"They are the card keeper, keyblade master, loyal servants to the mouse king and somebody else that I do not know." North said waving his hand as if showing that it was no big deal.
"Yeah, almost like what he said. I'm Sydney otherwise known as the Card Keeper. This is Sora, the Keyblade's chosen master. Donald and Goofy, the servants to our king, King Mickey Mouse. And finally we have Roxas who is also a keyblade wielder." I told them pointing to each one of us in turn. "And once again, to re-answer your question, Jack Frost. You have been brought here to become a guardian." I said as music started going and some yetis start screeching. Jack actually ended up backing up into a yeti, trying to get away from it all. One of the yetis actually brought North a book and flipped to a page. He cleared his throat just as Jack raised his staff and then struck it against the floor, making a loud noise and covering some of the floor in ice. A strong gust of wind came in and blew some of the little elves away.
"What makes you think I want to be a Guardian?" Jack asked what I thought was a legitimate question. It was quiet for a minute before North started laughing.
"Of course you do. Music!" North said and yelled after he stopped laughing. Music started up once again.
"No music!" Both Jack and I yelled. Quickly I went to stand beside Jack looking up at the four guardians.
"This is all very flattering but..." Jack started before I interrupted him.
"You don't want him. You guys are all hard-work and deadlines, and he's snowballs and fun times. He's not a guardian." I said as Jack sat down.
"Yeah, that's exactly what I said." The easter bunny said looking over at North and the tooth fairy.
"Jack, I don't think you understand what it is we do." Tooth Fairy said as she came up to Jack and looked right in his eyes. Then she started flying towards the globe. "Each of those lights on this globe is a child." She said before North Jumped in.
"A child who believes. And good or bad, naughty or nice, we protect them." North said looking up at the globe. While North was distracted, Tooth started to examine Jack's teeth.
"Tooth, take your fingers out of his mouth. That's just not right." I said. She backed and started saying how beautiful they were.
"Okay, no more wishy-washy. Pitch is out there doing who knows what!" North started up again.
"Before you even ask Jack, yes the Boogeyman. When Pitch threatens them, he threatens the children." I said.
"All the more reason to pick someone more qualified." Jack said as he started making his way out.
"Pick? You think we pick? No you were chosen! Like we were all chosen by Man in Moon." North said as he raised his hand towards the moon.
"What?" Jack asked as he stopped in his tracks and turned to look at the guardians.
"Last night, Jack, he chose you." Tooth said with a remark from Bunny thrown in.
"Man in the Moon... He talks to you?" Jack asked.
"You see, you cannot say no. It is destiny." North said.
"But why wouldn't he tell me that himself?" Jack asked looking up at the moon. Sighing, he continued with his questions. "After three hundred years, this is his answer? To spend eternity like you guys, cooped up in some hideout thinking of new ways to bribe kids? No, no, that's not for me! No offense." Jack said looking at the others for the no offense part. Of course bunny takes it personally like normal. The two argued for bit before Tooth got into the middle. They start to get all up close and personal after that.
"Jack. Walk with me." North said before heading towards the elevator with the three of us behind him. I felt nervous and I didn't even know why yet.
After Jack and North left, the real trouble began. The rest of us just chilled out until a heartless appeared. Noticing that there was a heartless, I immediately pulled out my daggers and destroyed it. Once the heartless disappeared, I noticed that I was surrounded. Before I was able to attack, a bright light shone, blinding me and destroying the heartless. I turned around after the light died to see Roxas standing there with his keyblade (Oathkeeper) out. He smiled at me before nodding towards the others who were also fighting heartless. Soon after they were destroyed. We heard wings flying away and I knew there was trouble at the tooth place. We quickly went to get Jack and North and then we were off. At this point, I didn't know that this was going to be our doom.
