Sydney: Hey, chapter 17 is finally here!
Sora: Roxas says that he hates you Sydney.
Sydney: I know, he hates me by the end of the chapter. Actually I hate myself for it too.
Sora: So since he isn't there I get to do the disclaimer?
Sydney: Yes, you can do it this one time.
Sora: So Sydney does not own Kingdom Hearts or Harry Potter. She really wants to though that way she could have already merged these two already.
Sydney: So enjoy, rate, favorite, review, follow. Do whatever you guys want to.

Chapter 17: It happened but I ran!

I stood in front of the mirror in our dorm room. I was wearing a one shoulder sky blue dress that fit my figure perfectly. My hair was slightly curled to give it a waterfall look. I had minimal makeup on. I continued to look at my reflection and I couldn't breath. The more I looked, the more I started to criticize every little detail. I was getting nervous as time flew by.

"Hey, you ready to go?" Hermione asked from behind me. I turned around to look at her. Her hair was twisted up into an elegant knot. She was wearing a floaty, periwinkle-blue material robe. She looked like everything I wanted to be at that moment in time.

"Yeah, sure." I said as we started walking out of the room. The common room was filled with different colors that all stood out against each other. As Hermione and I made our way through the crowd, I saw Harry and Ron talking with the twins. I couldn't remember their name but I knew they were twins.

If I thought the common room was bad, the entrance hall was even worse with all the different colors. Even with all the different colors, I could still find Roxas in the crowd. He was standing at the bottom of the stairs talking to Sora who had a girl on his arm. Didn't realize he actually found a date last minute. Sora pointed up towards Hermione and I and Roxas turned his head to look. I could tell that he was shocked by how we looked but I swear that Hermione looked better than me. Hermione said goodbye to me as she escaped in the crowd to look for Krum. I looked back at Roxas, took a deep breath and started to walk down the stairs. I wasn't very steady in the heels I wore, so I stumbled a bit but I was close enough to the rail so I could grab a hold of it.

"You look amazing." Roxas said once he met me halfway up the stairs. I smiled at him and took in his outfit. He was wearing a white button up shirt underneath a black suit jacket, black slacks, black dress shoes and a sky blue tie that matched my dress. His hair remained the same as normal. Overall he looked amazing while I felt so out of place in this dress.

"Thanks, you look amazing in that suit." I told him as we made our way down the stairs. I looked at him with the corner of my eye to see that he was smiling like a complete idiot.

"Hey Sydney. You look amazing." Sora said once we reached the bottom of the steps. He was dress similar to Roxas but had a regular black tie instead of blue. It was weird seeing them all dressed up and not in their normal clothes.

"Thanks Sora. You look nice." I said just as McGonagall called for the champions. Roxas and I said our goodbyes and headed toward McGonagall with Harry and Parvati right behind us. The order of the Champions went in was Fluer, Krum, Cedric, Harry and then me. When everyone, beside the Champions and dates, was settled in the Hall, McGonagall lead the champions into the Great Hall. The walls of the Hall was covered in sparkly frost with hundreds of garlands of mistletoe and ivy crossing the starry black ceiling. The house tables were replaced with a hundred or so smaller, lantern-lit ones that could fit twelve people. We were heading towards the head table which I was assuming we were sitting at. As people started placing orders for dinner, I turned to look Roxas.

"Well, this is interesting all of a sudden." Roxas whispered and I slightly giggled. This was not a normal dinner in the Great Hall. We could actually chose what we wanted right away. We went to eating. Once everyone was done eating, Dumbledore stood up and all the students were expected to stand up as well. He waved his wand and all the tables zoomed to the back walls. The champions and their dates got up from their table and made their way to the dance floor for the first dance of the night. Once we were in position to start dancing, I started to feel nervous. There were hundreds of people watching us and I was never good in heels.

"Don't worry so much. They'll notice and you'll end up tripping yourself." Roxas stated as I looked up at him instead of my shoes. The music started up and Roxas took complete control over the dance. He didn't step on my feet and I didn't step on his, surprisingly. The whole time, we exchange weird little jokes that made the other giggle, making me forget about everything. I didn't even realize that the song was over until I heard people start clapping. The two of us stopped dancing and smiled before we were able to go find Sora and the others. We found Sora sitting at a table in the back corner drinking something from his cup.

"Hey!" I said as I sat right next to him. He jumped about two or so feet in the arm before lightly hitting my shoulder. I leaned away and had a look of fake hurt on my face for like ten seconds before the two of us burst out laughing.

'If I didn't know any better, I would assume that you two were drunk already.' Roxas said as he sat on the other side of me.

"I'm not allowed to have alcohol. I'm not of age yet. Give me like three or so years." I said as I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Nope, I already tried it when what's her name left." Sora said and I looked at him in shock. I could tell that Roxas was also shocked behind me cause I felt him lean away. 'I was kidding!' He said and the two of us sighed in relief.

"So now what?" I asked as I looked at the other two.

"You two are gonna go back out on that dance floor." Sora said as he got up and grabbed both of our arms. He pushed Roxas in front of him before he leaned back and whisper, "You are going to get your man before I do it for you." I felt a blush creep onto my face just as Sora pushed us into the crowd before running off to Harry and Ron. I looked over at Roxas who smiled at me and held his hand out for me. We danced until we were sure that Sora was gone and then we slipped out of the Hall and headed towards the lake. I smiled at Roxas as we walked closer to the lake. I took my heels off before sitting down in front of the lake, against a tree.

"So how has tonight been so far?" Roxas asked as he sat down slightly in front of me.

"It has been an interesting night so far." I stated as I looked over at the lake. It looked amazing underneath the moonlight.

"Just interesting? How can we make it perfect?" He asked. You could possible kiss me and tell me you love me. I thought to myself and I felt like facepalming because of it. I shrugged my shoulders and continued to look at the water. I felt a breeze roll by and I wrapped my arms around myself trying to keep myself warm. I could hear Roxas shuffle before he wrapped his jacket around me. I turned to look at him and I realized that he was only a couple of inches away from me and i stared into his eyes. I smiled when I saw him lean in close to me and close his eyes. I closed my eyes as I leaned into him as well. His lips felt warm against mine and they were slightly rough against mine. One of his arms wrapped around my waist, pulling me close to him as his free hand rested on my cheek. My arms wrapped around his neck as I pulled him close. When the need for oxygen became very important, we pulled apart and rested our foreheads against each others. I opened his eyes as he opened his eyes. We smiled at each other before we started to giggle which turned into all out laughing. Once our laughing died down, I moved so that I could lay down next to him and stare up at the stars. he layed down next to me and grabbed my hand in his.

"So what are we now?" I asked him as I moved my head so I could look at him.

"I don't know, what do you want to be?" He asked and I looked back at the sky. I sighed before getting up and ripping my hand out of his.

"I have no idea. I gotta go." I said before getting up and running back into castle, heading straight to Gryffindor Tower.

"Sydney! Wait!" I heard Sora and Hermione yelled as I ran past them. I heard somebody follow me but I really didn't care. When I was sure I was far enough away from him, I started to slow down, eventually coming to a full stop. Why the hell did I run away? Why didn't I say what I wanted? Why did I feel like I wasn't good enough for him?
