Normal POV

"Oi, wait up, don't run off on your own," said a spiky-haired boy, his raven hair streaked with gold, as he exhaustedly climb a steep staircase.

"Sheesh, your too slow Yusei, we're almost at the top. Pick up the pace already," answered a clearly annoyed voice.

Yusei, climbing towards the voice kept panting for air. 'So energetic, dragging me around town wherever she pleases'.

At last, he managed to reach the top of the stairs. Quickly looking around, he spots her under a blooming cherry blossom tree, looking at the town below. Walking towards her, he stopped when he was only a few feet away from her.

"Hey, so, why'd you bring me here?" Yusei asked from behind the girl. For a few moments, there was nothing but silence between them, no birds chirping, no rustling of the wind, nothing. He waited kept waiting for the girls answer. Then, she suddenly spun around and kissed him passionately, tears streaming down her cheeks. All of a sudden, it's like life was blown around them, the wind picked up, the rustling of the leaves and the far-cry of birds. The girl broke of the kiss and walked back towards the tree and faced him, her eyes still wet from her tears. If one were to look at her in Yusei's eyes, they could see a beautiful girl looking straight at you, the cherry blossom tree beside her in full bloom, the sakura petals dancing with the wind behind her, the glow of the setting sun illuminating each one. The girl began to speak, her voice full of sadness and love.

"I'm sorry. I'm so sorry I made you go through all that pain. I'm so sorry I made you remember that feeling. And I'm so very sorry that I have to hurt you again. I love you, Yusei and… Sayonara."

Yusei just stood there, rooted in his place, not knowing what to do. It's like all his senses stopped working all at the same time. He wanted to shout at her to stay, to not leave him, to be there for him but he can't. All of a sudden, a darkness started to engulf him, consuming his soul, with the last thing on his mind was the girl leaving him there, just watching him get devoured. Then, to him, came nothingness.

Yusei POV

Again. That nightmare again. Yusei, stood up and started to pace his room, trying to clear his head of the image and his heart of the feeling. Two weeks had passed since that nightmare presented itself to him. Two weeks since he and Akiza had met for the second time of their lives. Two weeks since that nightmare began tormenting his very soul.

He took off his shirt, which was drenched with cold sweat, revealing a firm thin body. Throwing the shirt with the rest of his dirty clothes, he walked out of his room and went downstairs to have a glass of water.

I've been having that nightmare for two weeks now, waking me up in the middle of the night, and yet I just can't seem to figure it out. Is that an omen of something bad is going to happen or a vision that would come to life?

Reaching the cupboard, he took a glass and began pouring himself with water to wet his parched throat. After drinking three full glasses, he sat down on the floor and began to think.

Why am I even having that, who is that girl? He strained to remember the girl's physical appearance but try as he could, it was no use. The only thing he knows of that girl is that she made him whole, like she was a missing piece of him that he never knew.

It couldn't have been Akiza, I know I don't feel like that around her. Misty doesn't seem to fit the bill as well. Could it be another girl I haven't met? This is driving me nuts.

Standing up he began to walk back towards his room. Whatever it is that I'm having, I doubt it well ever show itself.

Entering his room, he shut the door behind him and opened a drawer beside his bed. Taking out what looks like an old photo, he scanned their faces.

Me and the rest of the gang; Jack, Crow, Misty and Carly, smiling without a care in the world. Jack doesn't seem to be bothered with Carly holding his arm here. Heck, he was even smiling. Crow, as usual, was trying to hog all the space. And Misty and I look really happy here.

Placing back the photo in the drawer and shutting it close, he lied down in bed and tried to fall asleep, hoping that there would be an answer to his nightmare.

(Couple of hours later in the Izinski household)

Aki's Room

Aki POV

With the alarm blaring, Akiza got up from bed, her hair sticking out all over the place. Her pillow is drenched with her drool.

Damn the alarm and I had such a good dream too. Fu fu fu, I guess I have to train Yusei to be the aggressor if I want my dream to come true.

Giggling as she walked towards her closet, she pulled out a spare baggy shirt to wear. Wonder why sleeping in the nude always gives me kinky fantasies; must be Yusei.

Having put on her shirt, which reaches a few inches below her butt, she went out of her room and into the bathroom to freshen up.

Gotta remember to ask Yusei to tutor me after school, I'm having trouble with my math. Hope he's not going to be busy then. He seems to be going home a lot earlier these days

(Flashback one week ago)

"Hey Yusei, come with me to the mall today. I'll let you pick the clothes, even my underwear," said Akiza, pulling him. He just shook off her grip and apologized that he's busy today.

"Eh? Again? Is it because I didn't behave when we went to see Luna and the rest last week? I already apologized and you can't blame me for sticking myself with you," Akiza said, her lips upturned in a pout.

"It's not it. I'm just really busy, that's all," Yusei explained while not explaining anything at all.

"I don't believe you. Is it because I made Luna kiss Dexter? I'm not apologizing for that because they look so cute. Besides, afterwards, Luna said it wasn't bad," Aki replied.

"No, it's not either and you should really try not to ship them these early. Luna might end up like you. I just have things I need to do. See ya," Yusei answered, hurriedly running off, leaving Akiza shouting to him to come back.

(Flashback ended)

"He's hiding something, I just know it. I should ask Misty about this," thought Akiza as she entered the bathroom and started to freshen up for school.
