Zim gets a bit eviler in this chapter, Invader Johnny.
Harsh, Ngrey though I know you are just attacking Gaz's personality.
Warning: This chapter does contain gruesome imagery.
Zim rubbed his hands together as he scanned all 20 of his subjects as they laid strapped down in the metal berths. Each one was sweating. Fear evident in each face, but one. Sure he sweated, but he looked up at him in his last act of defiance. Zim studied him the longest. Never blinking. Ever smirking. Reaching for a scalpel he eyed the gleaming piece of beauty watching his reflection. The one he stood in front of made a sound, a sound he knew too well making him instantly press that scalpel to his adams apple.
"One bit of that spit comes out of your mouth and I will personally see that your hell is a thousand times worse then what I will be doing to all of them." Zim breathed out. "But if you wish.. Do it." Seeing some stubble on his chin, Zim laughed at the monkey. "Disgusting."
The man continued staring up at him. Each time he swallowed his apple tickled against the scalpel drawing a feint line of red. "Your Zim, aren't you? You that freak from school."
Zim kept his facial expression the same as he pressed the flat of the scalpel against him making it difficult for him to breath little by little. "Greetings Torque." Chuckling softly at him, he raised the scalpel up, turned around to quickly grab another blade, and ran it quickly across the stubble shaving off his hair along with his skin. As he cried out, Zim's smile grew. "Shhh. Tsk, tsk, tsk. Keep moving like that, I'll be removing that jaw of yours and I'm doing such a good job."
Chancing a glance at his other subjects all of them were shaking as they stared at him with fear. Zim loved his job. Watching Nick enter with the components needed, his creepy smile scaring the other humans even more then they already were to the point one started calling out to his mother. Zim shook his head.
"Nick, your scaring them." Zim pointed out.
"Ohhhh, but I'M soooo happy." Nick grated out.
Examining Torques now very exposed face, Zim patted the top of his head. There was so much blood there now. "I'm glad you are. Now come here and help your, Master out."
Nick trotted over to him to get handed some gauze by, Zim. "I get to play mummy?"
Zim nodded as he ripped off his soiled gloves and went over to all the others. "Now cooperate and I assure you won't look like him." Points to Torque. "But I guarantee you won't look like, Nick over here." With that one everyone whimpered again. Clapping his hands together, he cheered out, "NOW WHO WANTS TO GO FIRST?"
Four hours later, Zim sat in a stool providing electro shocks to them whenever they provided an incorrect answer. The place was a mess on the ground and as he was providing his teachings he would listen to Nick gush about how happy he kept being. In hind sight, there were times he didn't mind Nick's presence. Other times, he wondered if he should of disposed of him long ago. First human experiment. He guessed he will keep him around to make the others uncomfortable still.
"Nick, I know your happy, but keep cleaning." Zim ordered in a bored voice.
"Ohhhh... Will do, Master!" Nick cheered grabbing the mop and wetting it.
Zim hoped that Dib will enjoy his latest project. He was still perfecting the wasps in the other room. Hearing a call from Red to come to the bridge, he sighed to get off his stool. Instructing, Nick to keep cleaning and not to touch the experiments, he marched along in a somewhat bored way to the bridge. Along the way, he would get saluted, but he barely paid no mind to them. His mind was on his list as he finally reached the bridge to not be surprised at having a donut thrusted into his face by Red. Waving his hand in front of it declining it, he just gazed at them quietly.
"Yes, well, Zim. Having fun with your project?" Red queried.
He couldn't ask him while he was down in the lab? Zim thought. "Quite. Enjoying your donuts?"
"Purple is. I think they are dry." Red replied showing his upper teeth in distaste. "The reason why your here is because of this." Points to the screen. "Spotted the boy. Of course you already spotted the girl."
Zim turned his head to the screen to see it frozen on the image of Dib. He was dressed in all black, which was really pointless for his skin tone. His sister and him were always way too pale. He looked the same as the last time he saw him. "Any more intelligence on him besides just this image?"
"He found some more survivors, if you could believe." Swallows his food before laughing, Purple coughed. "Not like they'll live long though."
"Dib has been more of a bleeding heart. If Gaz rescues any survivors it will be for her brother's sake. Other then that, she will chew them up and spit them out if she feels they are way too stupid for her own needs." Zim provided.
Red now coughing from attempting another donut, he blinked almost ferociously. "Are you sure she isn't one of us?"
Zim grinned. "Quite sure."
"Then why is she bothering even helping at all?" Red wondered.
Examining Dib's image again and wondering if he'll love his project, Zim almost scoffed at the question. "I have my theories. Now if there isn't anything else, I would like to continue on the plan and see if they will have the guts to shoot their own kind for real."
As Red and Purple watched him leave, Red leaned over to Purple. "I'm sure if it's that girl, she will not hesitate to do that."
Purple shuddered at that thought before coughing again. "Damn donuts are too dry. Fire the cook!"
"My Tallests! We caught some rebels. One of them a purple headed girl!" Came the announcement prompting Red to look at the one who made the call.
"Uhhh inform Tallest Zim. He's the one who has been looking for her." A lot lower to Purple, Red hissed, "He wants her, he can have her."
Zim was barely back to his lab when he was called to the brig area informing him that they caught a purple headed girl. Zim wasn't naive, he knew Gaz was far too clever to be taken in too easily, but there was no way he would look the other way as he quickly made his way there. The amount of walking he has been doing today should of been exhausting. Zim come here. Zim go there, while Red and Purple stuff their stupid faces. To think that there was once a time he respected them.
Stepping into the holding area, a soldier proudly showed him the latest capture. Zim was skeptical as he examined them before laughing loudly. "You fools! That isn't the Membrane girl."
"They said purple hair, and all humans look alike to us, my Tallest." The guard said.
Hitting him across the face, Zim hissed, "Fools! She looks nothing like, like this thing in there." Glancing back at her, he smirked at her though. "You still look like a little kiss ass, Zita. How much loyalty do you have with Dib now that you are in here?"
"I'll never talk."
He observed the way she stood, it was very much like how she always was in class. Calling him and even Dib crazy. The thing was, she wasn't as confident as she was before. "Why have loyalty to someone you have claimed that was also crazy, Zita? Did Dib turning out to be something you didn't expect change your mind?" When her mouth opened, he quickly went through the bars to get her throat. "No need to answer me. You'll be helping me out right now. You'll have no choice in this at all. Guards, bring her with you to my lab. She'll be helping me out on a special little experiment."
Letting her go, he turned away as he watched her get dragged out of her cell. He smiled fully hoping all things go according to plan. Stepping into his lab, he chuckled at how the guards threw her into the lab and she scuttled back on her rear to get as far away from his improved humans. Zim smiled at her as she struggled for words.
"I won't tell you where they are." Zita squeaked out.
"Not even an old classmate?" Zim prompted with decidedly good humor now.
She shook her head. "No. Dib has been kind to me."
"And what about, Gaz?"
Zita was quiet there as she made friends with the wall. She was afraid to speak the truth there. She prayed this was a nightmare.
Tapping the table nearest to him, Zim raised up an eyebrow ridge. "I'm waiting, Zita."
Zita gulped hard feeling the effects of dehydration. "She's intense. Scary. Always has been. Her training is tough. She only demands the best to be with her. She doesn't care for weakness." Putting her head down a tear fell. "While she may save survivors, she doesn't have the patience to deal with a lot. I don't know how Dib is related to her. She's evil." Glances back up at him. "She's a lot like you and all your alien scum buddies, Zim." She spat out.
"Eh. Dib isn't perfect either. Look where you are and he is in his hide out. His loyalty is more to her then yourself." Leveling his gaze at her, he wanted to feel each word he said to her. "You are nothing to him. Nothing."
"You sound like, Ms Bitters." She said with a hiccup.
"OH look! I did learn something in that class." Zim responded more gaily. "I'm so glad it wasn't wasted on me. I meet a crazy boy and a purple demon. I won't complain about her though." Walking over to the furthest table, he asked Zita in a more serious tone. "Tell me, Zita. You want to tell your old classmate where your hide-out is?"
"Hell no. I won't tell you anything, Zim." She told him as she narrowed her eyes. She will fight. She will not give up the location.
Placing his hand on his stomach area, he guffawed. "Oh you are mistaken, Zita. I mean this classmate."
Zita watched as the table went down allowing someone disfigured to get up. Her eyes took in the sight as she saw the dried up blood on his clothes, the tubes in his head where his brain should of been and the fact that there was no outer layer of skin around his chin area that showed some bone. Eyes going wide, she found herself slinking up the wall. "It couldn't be." She whispered out in shock as the male kept walking towards her. "What did you do?"
Zim shrugged. "Eh, he always was one ugly child. Made old kid normal looking. If that's even possible."
"What did you do to old kid?" Zita inquired as she kept trying to move away.
"He's fine. Never had an issue with him. You, you I can't stand, but if you tell me where they are hiding out, I will stop him from the torture you will face if you don't." Zim promised.
Whimpering, she tried to run, but Torque grabbed her hard making her squeal like a pig.
If Gir was operational right now, he would of loved hearing that sound she made just now. Zim frowned at the thought of his broken down Sir unit. As annoying as he could be, he did provide good companionship. "You can stop this right now."
"I won't... Say... Ow." This time she yelped as tears streamed down her face.
"I guess we'll be moping the floor up of more blood then." Zim deadpanned as he called for Nick to come back in. Funny with how many times he helped torture or watched a punishment, he thought he would still get excited like Red and Purple, but he just got bored quickly and yawned when her body fell to the ground limp. "Good job, Torque. Nick! Help clean up this mess."
"Sure! Anything you say! I love this job!" Nick chirped as he scooped her lifeless body off the ground.
"Time for all of you to go to Earth and help bring down, Dib." Zim ordered. "Or at least capture him." He really needed to make up his damn mind there.
Yeah... Eww. I did warn you.
Also I guess another "Wait for it" is in order.
