Adrenaline was key as was anger, and hate as Gaz went for Tak's old ship that Dib moved from their old house to a warehouse. Dib was always planning, but due to his height nowadays he was hardly able to fit into it comfortably, but Gaz was still able to. The pulse signals she sent up so the Irkens can see their little demonstration tonight was for Zim's benefit. Dib had no clue that she snuck out of their place. Her foot was still killing her, but she didn't care. She can do a lot when fueled in her hatred.
So she laid in wait knowing exactly where the Voots will come from as they always did. If Zim wanted her then he'll come for her personally, and right on queue there he was making her take off after him. She was focused. Confident as she fired her warning shot at him. Ahh, almost like that one time when she rescued Dib and had to use one of his own escape pods, only this time she is behind his ass firing at him. Opening up the radio, she hailed him.
"Hey! Remember that time I beat you in one of your own escape pods? Want me to repeat myself?"
"You dare to think you can win against me this time? You were lucky then." Zim responded back.
Smirking, Gaz fired at him again. "What did you say? I can't hear you past those loud booms."
Zim gritted his teeth cutting off the radio and maneuvering in a quick turn around bashing her in the side. "Silly human."
Tak's old ship really is outdated, but Gaz went to bash him back before dipping down.
Zim honestly didn't want to hurt her, but he had to get that ship down. Shooting a grappling hook in her back end, he remembered the last time he did this which failed miserably for him. So with that little slack he gave himself, he went above her to attach and lock down on her ship ceasing control away from her. Zim laughed.
Gaz cursed as she tried to work the controls before trying to lift the canopy. She couldn't allow him to bring her up there so she started kicking at it. Feeling stupid at that thought, she went to the back finding a small detonation unit she needed, and activated it. Ducking behind, what she hoped to be the safest thing, she waited for it to kick in.
Zim was leveling up before hearing a small boom below him. Quickly checking what was the cause of it, he spotted Gaz trying to make the desperate move of jumping out of there. Placing it on auto-pilot, he opened his canopy to yell down at her. "Are you crazy?"
"Crazy aliens like you shouldn't toss stones, Zim." Gaz yelled back. "I'm not going up there like this." Watching them pass a large body of water, she hoped she wasn't gonna land on any rocks.
"Gaz! Don't do it!"
"Screw off, Zim." Taking that leap of faith, she jumped out of the ship landing hard into the water.
Not realizing his arm was outstretched, but realizing he was yelling out a resounding, "NOOOOOOOO!" Zim hovered around the lake to see where she will submerge from.
Below the water, Gaz blacked out for a bit before coming to. Glancing up, she spotted him hovering close above the water. Cursing at him, she swam underwater for as long as she could hoping that land will be near.
Zim was feeling worried. He couldn't see her. Did she drown? He activated his radar and there was life down there, but he couldn't tell one blip from the next as his eyes furrowed. "Gaz!" He called out. Closing his eyes for a moment to think, he felt something in him stir making him glance sharply to his right. The little minx was coming out of the water as slowly as possible. He did note that as she glanced in his direction, she ran off limping.
Gaz was fighting the urge to cough as she ran. She was fighting the pain in her foot as it was stabbing through her. She stumbled a few times. She tried her own radio, but it wasn't working making her just use her tracking instead. She knew how to fight hand to hand, but right now another weapon would be handy so while she stumbled around she cursed her own luck that this is the only time a simple branch or rock wasn't around for her. She was in a stinking forest right now. There is always a fresh supply of that around.
Feeling hands grab around her waist, Gaz kicked at him with the wrong foot making her curse. "Damn it!"
Seeing this as a good advantage, Zim turned her over on her back holding her down. "You are already hurt enough and you want to worsen your own damage. What the hell is your problem, Gaz?"
"I refuse to fucking submit to you. So let me go! Get these damn spider legs off of me!"
"Your foot is hurt and you are doing all this. Why? You don't care about yourself, is that it, little Gaz?" Zim demanded getting close to her face. "Tell me!"
"I don't care if I die, Zim, but I care if my own brother suffers."
"I think you dying will make him suffer. What part of, get away from my sister, don't you understand?" Zim spat out.
Gaz turned her head away from him. "He spends so much time worrying about me and a handful of survivors that it is taking too much of a toll on him." Turning her head back to him she bucked at him as she glared. "I want this to stop as much as him, but to submit myself to you with you kidnapping me like that? Hell no."
Zim examined her. "Surprised you aren't wondering why I'm not burning."
"Paste. I'm not an idiot."
"I've grown a tolerance for it, but I will burn if I have a long exposure to it."
Gaz was confused. "Why are you telling me this? I'm the enemy."
Brushing her hair aside, he was gentle when he spoke. "I never thought of you in that way. Only Dib."
Feeling him move against her again, she looked away. "Don't."
Zim stopped. "Did he really only just touch you on your rear? Iggins."
Eyes closed, a tear escaped. "He managed to knock me out. I was angry over a fight I had with Dib. Wasn't paying attention and next thing I know his hands were under my shirt. My head was in pain, had a lump on it from where he hit me. I beat him up pretty good, but still." She cleared her throat. "I was ashamed to tell Dib even when he rescued him and brought him in there."
Getting off of her, he helped her up. "I'm sorry."
Freezing, she wrapped her arms around herself to keep warm. "I don't care if you torture his ass. He's a worm."
"I am torturing him." He wasn't caring if she hated him right now as he grabbed her to hold her. "You need warmth."
"I have activated my tracking device."
"I thought so."
Separating, she went back to the ground to ease the pressure in her leg. "Don't force me up there. Someone willing to go is far better."
"Let me kiss you then."
Gaz shook her head as she laid down. Eyes closed, she said, "Sorry that will be a no."
Coming close to her, he barely grazed her skin as his lips touched several parts of her body. "I want you." Grazing his teeth against her neck she gasped out before easing into him. With his other hand, he brushed it along the side of her. "I want you to be my Queen."
Gaz hated her bodies response to him. She kept gasping out like she was some sort of teeny bopper. "Zim." She felt him nipping her neck making her grasp his arm hard as ecstasy ripped through her.
Feeling her body go limp in his arms after that, he knew now it was done. Every Irken will know she is his and not to be harmed. He marked her as his saliva mixed with her blood knowing how it will course through her system. Hearing a strong beep, he looked down to her wrist to study it, Dib was coming near. He had half a mind to place a tracker on her himself, but thought against it as he kissed her lightly on the temple. "I'll be back for you soon." He promised as he dashed away.
Hopping into the Voot, he lifted himself up in the air quickly depositing the old craft from under him into the water. He hovered above the water for some time as he watched Dib and some others of his group approach Gaz's prone form. Dib did study him as he cursed in the air at him. "Yeah, whatever Dib-stink." Quickly flying away.
There was no pain. There should of been pain, shouldn't there be? How long was she asleep? Did they drug her? Did Zim take her away anyway and if he did he'll receive a swift round of doom soon. She remembered chasing him. Remembered the smell of charred bodies. Remembered meeting cold water. Pain when her foot connected with him. Him against her. Arms around her. Teeth digging into her neck. That is when things became fuzzy as something was felt going through her body before she felt weakness.
She opened her eyes up just a slit. By the time shown in front of her it was daytime. She didn't feel alone. "Dib?"
"Yeah, I'm here."
His voice was so cold answering her. He never spoke to her this coldly before. It has been true he has been frustrated with her before, but never had he acted cold. Gaz turned her head in the direction of his voice to see him sitting on the ground with his back leaning against the wall. His eyes furrowed, mouth thin as he focused on her while he rested his arms on his raised knees. He was going to get on her case today. His worry last night turned to her worry, and she made it far worse because she was angry.
"You know, even though we didn't have mom for long, I did love her. I may of not known her that long, but she was kind. Sweet. Happy. Brought out the best in all of us. This I remember, but before we knew it, she was gone. Dad really left after that truthfully. True it was an explosion that brought about his true death, he was long gone before that. I tried for his approval and love, but still was insane to him." Dib needed to speak. Needed her to understand. "For the longest time it has just been you and me. I wanted to take care of you because I wanted to and even though you tried to push me away. Got annoyed at me. Threatened my very existence. I still wanted to take care of you. Always will. Why? Because you have always mattered to me."
"Dib..."
"I'm talking, Gaz. Don't interrupt me."
Gaz remained tight lipped to allow him to speak his mind.
"Perhaps you hate emotions for whatever reason. I have seen you shut off with mom gone and dad basically left us on our own. I have seen you angry at the world. I have always reached out to you. Why? Because I love you."
"I know you do." Gaz muttered out.
"Not only do I worry about you, I have to worry about everyone else out there, and if that isn't enough, I have others calling me from all around asking me for advice on how to handle them. I have so much on my plate. I know you help out. Believe me I do, but when the one person in my life is out there risking herself knowing that some alien scum wants her while she is hurt... I worry, Gaz. Hell! I'm frightened that something will happen to you."
"Look! Your anger is justified towards me. I get it. I really do, but do you understand what it does to me when you are even like this?" Gaz countered back in a forced whisper. She refused to raise her voice. She refused to have any eavesdroppers at her door. "If you think I'm made out of stone, I'm not. Do I enjoy killing those bastards? Actually I do. What I did last night was to send a message and it was sent."
Dib came at her faster then she has ever seen him ever do before putting a mirror in front of her. "What is this then? It looks like he decided to send a message to you instead."
Grabbing the mirror from his hands, Gaz examined the bite mark on her neck. "Bastard."
"What is strange is that your foot is healed up. We looked at it last night and its gone."
"That explains the no pain part then." She was in a daze placing the mirror down. "Want to lecture me some more?"
"Want to go out on your own some more?" He asked back grabbing the mirror away from her.
Gaz fell silent as she laid back down. "I need to think."
"I need to let out some steam."
Gaz listened as he opened and slammed the door closed behind him. She had never ever seen him that angry at her before in her life. She guessed she didn't blame him for that as she reached over to touch the new thing on her neck. She felt something flow through her once he did that. Why the hell did he do that to her?
Zim laughed at Tak's misfortune when he came in last night shortly after departing from leaving Gaz. While the humans did have claw marks on them from her, she did have some bruises on her and blood. Tak of course hissed at him while the humans all looked at him warily.
"Oh this is just too good." Zim chuckled as he wiped a mock tear away from his eye. "I give it a hand to these humans here, Dib and Gaz taught them well to hold up against you." When she hissed again, he laughed harder. "Oh stop it, please Tak. You don't want to harm your Tallest." Clearing his throat, he came closer to the cell to re-examine all of the humans before settling his gaze back on her. "I have a plan and this isn't a trick. This will be a prize for your freedom, but it will be for a couple or maybe one hyooman. All you have to do is hold your own against, Tak here. If you do, I will come back and re-evaluate you all, and you get to go back to Earth. Sounds like a plan?"
"How do we know you won't kill us anyhow even if we do win?"
Zim gave an odd look at the male that asked this question. "That is possibly the most intelligent question I have ever heard you ask me, Mack. Well the answer is... You won't, but you won't truly know until you find out. What is you humans say all the time? Damned if you do and damned if you don't. So have fun... Starting now!"
"Zim, you're a loser. You've always been a loser." Tak told him as she gritted her teeth.
"And yet, I'm over here in charge and your not, Tak. Buh-bye for now." Zim waved bye to her to go to his next project of course his next project was taken away from him when he stepped in to find Red and Purple standing over Iggins. "I'm surprised to see you both here."
"Red was curious and then I was curious so then we both had to come down here to see this ugly child." Purple was absolutely excited as he grinned at him. "I mean seriously he is ugly."
Zim stepped up in front of the table to notice something else. "He's... He's dead." Zim's mouth downturned at the smell.
Red snickered next to him. "We came in, he was asleep, woke up looked up at Purple and he yelled out, 'Hi' the ugly thing looked between both of us and kept screaming for the longest time."
"You know how we usually hate that, right Zim?" Purple asked. Zim just nodded his head.
"We got drinks and drank up while he screamed himself out." Red added.
"Then he died. Boop!" Purple interjected happily.
Normally, Zim would be angry at having something taken away from him, but this became priceless as Zim hoped it was recorded. Oh he hoped it was recorded.
"If you want, we asked if the Computer has it on a recording. He said yes." Red seemed to be reading Zim's mind. "Hope you don't mind, but it has been such a long time for us."
Zim started laughing. "That's fine. I'm glad its recorded. That dirty monkey insulted my future queen, so I'm..." Breaks down laughing again. "Fine with it."
"Oh yeah... What about that? It was her, correct?" Red stepped away from the body to resume business.
"It was, but she didn't wish to be taken against her will."
"You should of! You should of taken her!" *Slurp* Purple smacked his lips as he stared at Zim.
"Out of anyone you don't take against their will is her. She says she will go willingly not forced. I have a new plan." Zim now wished he had something to drink. "Have you seen Tak? Well those humans in that cell with her are really good at fighting with her. I told them that if they hold their own with her that one or two of them will earn their freedom."
"Zim... What are you thinking about?"
The way Red dragged his name out just reminded him of the old days as Zim smirked at him. "This plan will get us off this planet with her on this ship."
An hour later, Zim came strolling back into the holding area smiling at what was in front of him. "Tak! You look terrible." Tak sneered at him as she cradled her hurt arm next to her. "Guards! Take her to a separate cell for now. Put her over there." Pointing to the furthest one. As the guards dragged her out, he studied the humans in their various degrees of pain. He picked Mack and a female he didn't know the name of. They were pretty damaged. Pointing at them both, the guards took them both out.
"Congratulations! You'll soon be free, but first." Places a needle in both of their necks. "We can't have any problems while getting off the ship."
