Sydney: Hello, new chapter is now out.
Roxas: She felt like writing late last night/early this morning. She's been in a mood ever since she let some of her work friends read her stuff.
Sydney: They said it was good. One of them didn't even know that I wrote it.
Roxas: Anyways, Sydney does not own any of us at all. Enjoy, review, favourite and we'll see you next time.
Sora: P.S. the last chapter was placed at the beginning of Tales of Xillia. Also, she is sorry for the font thing again. It's not like she plans these things to happen.

Chapter 31: Wait, you read it?

"Sora!" I shouted into the darkness, hoping that he could hear me somewhere. I twisted and turned in every direction, hoping that somebody would just appear, hopefully Sora. My hair kept on flying around me as I turned.

"Somebody!" I shouted only to be answered with quiet. I didn't like being in the realm of darkness but it beat being stuck fighting those heartless and nobodies. I stopped moving the moment I thought about the nobodies.

"Okay, there are only few people who can summon a corridor of darkness. There was Maleficent and Pete but they really hate us at the moment so I would say no. There is Riku, which I want to say is most likely since he protects Sora and our group but was still highly unlikely. There is always the organization but what do they gain when they take the two of us out of a fight with Heartless. Isn't their plan to collect hearts and create Kingdom Hearts?" I said to myself, laying out all of the facts in front of me. None of this made sense to me. Why would we be separated inside a corridor of darkness?

"Would somebody come here and explain things to me?!" I shouted, very annoyed.

"Would you just shut up?" A voice asked from behind me. I turned around to come face to face with Axel. Should have guessed that. He's already gone rouge. Might as well try to kidnap another girl.

"What do you want?" I asked, my gaze lowering to a glare. Alex's bright red hair seemed way too bright in this sea of darkness.

"Nothing, nothing at all. How's Roxas?" He asked.

"Fine, he's fine. He's spending time with his other." I told him, not a complete lie. He was stuck with Donald and Goofy on the ship. "Where is Sora?" I asked, more like demanded.

"He's fine, just playing with some of my friends." He said. I doubt that he meant friends in the way I thought it meant.

"Take us back." I demanded. I glared at him as he threw his head to the sides, flipping his hair out of his face. I felt the urge to roll my eyes at him but resisted because he was the only one that knew where Sora was.

"It's not that simple sweetheart. We got a few details to hash out first." He said and I sighed. This conversation was getting stale.

"What do you want Axel? It's not we're gonna give you Roxas." I said and I could see hurt cross his expression for a moment.

"It's not like I want him back or anything like that." He muttered and I could feel the guilt rolling off of him. The idea of him not having a heart at the moment is a very good thing, otherwise, all he would be feel is the pain that came from what happened.

"Then what do you want?" I asked as I looked over at him.

"Saix is going to come after you and Roxas. Soon. He plans to take him first but he'll settle for you if he has to. He'll be waiting at Twilight Town." Axel said before opening a corridor behind me. "You guys should run while you still have the chance."

"I thought you know by now, Sora won't abandon any world, person, or thing that is in danger and nether will I." I said before walking towards the corridor.

"Are you making him happy?" Axel said after a few seconds. I turned to look at him, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.

"I wanna say I am but I'm not completely sure if I am or not. But I won't give up if that's what you mean." I said before stepping through the corridor and appearing on the gummi ship. I turned to look behind me to see that the corridor had closed.

"Sydney." Sora said as he jumped on me. I slightly laughed at his actions as I wrapped my arms around him.

"I'm back." I whispered in his ear before pulling away from him. I gave a small smile to him, Donald and Goofy before moving out of the room, towards Roxas' room. I stood at his door ready to knock before an thought crossed my mind.

'What if I'm not good enough for him? What if he deserves to be with someone from this universe, someone that can understand the crazy drama that has happened to him?' I thought to myself as I stood there. He could have Namine or Xion. He could feel normal around them because they at least experienced something along the same line. Me, what could I understand from all of this? Before everything happened, I was just a loner girl who had no friends and couldn't care less about all this craziness.

"You're good enough. You are probably better than you give yourself credit for. Better than most of us." Sora quietly said from behind me. I jumped about ten feet in the air and turned to glare at him.

"Don't do that." I told him.

"Whatever girl you think would be better for Roxas is probably not as good as you are. You make him a better person and he makes you better. All you have to do is take the first step and knock on that door." Sora said as he turned me around so I was facing the door. I felt my breathing stop as Sora lifted my arm towards the door.

"I can't do it Sora. There is no way I could be good enough for him." I whispered as Sora used my hand to knock against the door. There was a bit of rustling coming from the other side.

"Come in." Roxas called out as Sora dropped my hand and ran away. At this point, I had two options. The first was to run away, act like I was still upset, which I kinda was, and pretend that I was never at his door. The second would to be to go in and sort all of this stuff out. Before my mind caught up, my hand knocked on the door for a second time, much louder than the first time.

"Alright, I'm coming." Roxas said before the door opened to reveal him in all his glory. His blond spikes still retained their hold and his eyes widened upon realizing it was me standing there. His clothes were all messed up, like he had been sleeping in them.

"Sydney." Roxas breathed out as he took in my appearance.

"Hey, I had a run-in with your friend." I said before he grabbed my hand and pulled me into his room, closing the door behind me.

"You had a run-in with Axel?" He asked, holding his breath after asking the question.

"Yeah, and I know who the organization is going to go after first." I told him with a straight face. "They're going after you first. Saix is gonna try to take you at Twilight Town."

"But why would they do that?" Roxas asked putting his hands behind his head./p

"To make you one of their pawns in this whole game. If you destroy Sora, then they have all the cards in their hands. They'll make you complete Kingdom Hearts. I'll be locked up for safe keeping, nobody would be able to stop them until it was too late." I said.

"We have to tell the others." He said standing up to go tell the others.

"We can't. We know too much about your past…their future. There is reason to the no meddling rule. If we tell them what we know, everything will be so out of whack that we won't be able to fix it ever and the organization will get what they want!" I told him, grabbing his arm to pull him back down./p

"I hate this. I hate knowing and not doing anything about it." He muttered and I sighed at the statement.

"I hate it too but we have to obey rules, no matter how unfair they are." I said. "But we still have to talk."

"I am so sorry about what I said earlier." He said as he moved to look at me.

"I'm sorry for the way I reacted. It wasn't fair of me. You were completely right that I don't know what the organization is capable of. You don't have to take on the things that I find important to my world." I told him.

"Dismissing the whole camp horror was wrong of me. It was something terrible that shouldn't be repeated to anyone. I know that all of my stuff doesn't affect anybody like the things in the book. This is going to haunt generations to come." He said and I let out a small laugh.

"Look at us. We're acting like complete idiots over things that we shouldn't even worry about. Our goal at the moment should be to finish the organization and deal with everything that is to come." I said as I moved closer to him and wrapped my arms around his neck.

"You're right. We should just worry about the organization." He said as he kissed the top of my head. I smiled as we sat in silence for a while.

"Wait, you read the book?" I asked after a while.

"Sora made me. He told me to stay in here and read it. Donald and Goofy kept on sitting in front of the door to make sure that I did read it." He said and we both started laughing at the thought of Donald and Goofy sitting in front of the door. They would probably argue about what to do with us next time we have a fight.

"I'll going to have to kill him later." I whispered which made Roxas laugh. We were enjoying our time together until Sora came onto the intercom.

"Next stop: Twilight Town." He said, sounding so cheerfully. If only he knew what was waiting for us.
