You should know the answer to that question there, Invader Johnny
Well I can't help myself, Everclear
A whole month of working together and while they were in separate area's working, he still knew what she was doing, but there were some aspects he didn't know. Dib sensed the difference in her mood wondering what she was thinking about. At home she was normal, but here or going home she would become snappish. One day he wandered into her lab area where she was alone, and locked the door behind him. At the present moment she was mulling over something on the computer while muttering something angrily to herself.
"Something wrong?" Dib wondered.
Upper lip was out a little indicating she was angry at something. "Work is fine in itself." She answered curtly. "Surprised you are paying me a visit."
"Well you don't want to really talk to me at home although I won't complain about what we do at home." He enjoyed the smile that played up on her face there. Walking closely, he said, "Talk to me."
"Oh, he's really the clone of Professor Membrane, but you would never know it. I've seen him when he was at that age and he never looked that good. Dib is more yummier then his own dad. Oh I wonder what he's like in bed. I bet his body is banging. Oh! Hey, Tak, you are his room mate. You ever seen him without his shirt off? Does he have a good looking body? Blah, blah, blah this." Tak was mocking in a different tone of voice before returning to her normal voice. "Do all humans act like this in the work place?"
"Gossip and yes. Is that what has been bothering you? They don't act like Irkens?" Dib inquired calmly.
Shrugging, she was embarrassed to answer. "That and uh... I don't like them talking about you like that."
"Are you jealous?" Glancing away from him, he placed his finger under her chin to make her look at him again. "If you are, don't."
Standing up, she had to stretch. "They asked if you and I ever did anything. I know we are keeping work and personal life separate, so what do I say?"
"Honestly, it isn't their business. My dad met my mom this way through work. You can tell them what you want, just be civil about it."
"Do they ever ask you anything?"
Knowing the door was locked, he was very tempted right now being next to her. "They asked about your education. Think you are too young, but figured you are a prodigy. They know we live together, but if they say anything more to that they are keeping it behind my back. I know this is the first time you and I been alone here ever." Reaching out, he pressed her against him. "I came here to talk to you, I didn't intend on this next part."
"It is your lunch time. Anything you wish?"
Dib almost laughed at her coy act when he lifted her on the table. "I have a late night meeting to attend to tonight after work." Laughing at his lameness, he almost pulled away.
Wrapping her legs around him, she kissed him. "Will I be in that meeting?"
"Either that or you'll be making me talk to myself." Kissing her back he almost ripped her clothes off. "No more useless jealousy, Tak. I never strayed away from you."
Eyeing a kids book in the private library, Gaz made a face at it sniggering at it. How cute that Zim brought Gir's favorite book along with him. Funny he placed it in there though. Taking the book, she thought to bring it with her to read to Gir at least as she still laughed about it.
"Nice to hear someone is in a good mood."
"Hi, Purple. I'm just laughing about this book." Gaz showed him the book. "The book isn't funny there is just something cute that I'm thinking about. Oh, never mind."
"No, that's fine. I laugh about a lot of things. Many must think I'm a complete idiot at times, but even I want fun." Purple told her good naturally as he found the book he wanted. "He finally brought it back." Taking his selection, he waved a fond good bye to her.
Gaz kinda wished he stuck around to talk to, but she ended up shrugging to find something for herself to read, but finding nothing that interested her so far, turned and rammed into Red. Jerking back, she didn't bother saying sorry while watching him walk creepily close to her. "I'm going to see, Zim now." Red halted her by placing his hand on her. Near an area she wasn't comfortable with. "Excuse me."
"I think not, our Queen."
It has been awhile since she punched anyone. It has been far too long since she killed anyone as she envisioned his body dying in front of her. "I'm sorry for bumping into you."
Smirking, he got closer to her backing her towards the bookcase. "I'm not."
Raising her chin up to glare at him, she practically spat at him. "You realize who I'm with, don't you?"
Leaning down close to her face, Red almost licked that chin of hers. "You do realize that I don't care."
Slipping around him, she walked steadily out of that room making her way over to where Zim was. He often liked to train at this time of day. Going to the training room, Zim stopped to tell his sparring partner to leave him be the moment he glanced at her. Gaz was boiling over. "I really need to hit something, Zim. Let me hit something."
"You miss hitting me?" He teased.
"Just a smidgen. Got anything that looks exactly like Red?" She scanned the entire room frustrated.
Going to her, he held her at arms length noticing the book in her hands briefly. "What happened?"
"Does he realize what these are, correct?" Gaz asked angrily touching her breasts. "I know he isn't that stupid, because he touched me right here." She showed him by touching at the rise of her breast. "Then he backed me towards the bookcase." Going around Zim she walked to the nearest thing and kicked it hard causing it to splinter.
Balling his fists up, Zim was baring his teeth. "Did he say anything to you?"
"Nothing much, it was his actions, but when after he backed me up into the bookcase, I asked him if he realized who I was with, his answer was he didn't care." Gaz hit something else. "I want to go home."
"What?"
"Zim, I am trapped on a damn ship. A ship I can't destroy obviously even though I want to right now. I don't hate you. I'm not even close to it, but I hate it here." Gaz growled storming past him. "Also I miss my dweebie brother."
"Computer! Tell me where Red is right now!" Zim barked. Hearing the answer, Zim stormed his way to him. Finding Red in the personal library still, Zim came in to grab him by the scruff of the neck. "What gives you the right to insult my wife in this way, Red?"
"Whatever do you mean, Zim?" Red asked innocently.
"Don't act like that." Jerking him away from him, Zim almost punched him. "Why are you hitting on my wife? Touching her. You know what wrongs you are doing there, Red?"
"Prove it, Zim. She is human after all. A deliciously evil one at that, but she is human. No one will believe someone who killed so many of our own kind." Red pointed out poking him in the chest.
"She did that to defend herself and as for things like this... She never lies." Zim spat out. "I already know you have threatened my life, Red. Do it in my face now."
Chuckling, he shook his head. "I'm not stupid, Zim. Enjoy your wife now because I have a feeling she will be trading up soon." Sitting back down, Red crossed his leg casually. "I suggest you leave me be, Zim. I've been Tallest for far more longer than you and I know the tricks on how to do everything."
Smiling maliciously, Zim crossed his arms. "Never underestimate a defective, Red."
Red was laughing while watching him stride out of there. Zim had no clue what his plans entailed.
Zim walked in to find her reading a book to Gir. Gaz was sitting on the couch with Gir just propped up near her giggling with excitement as she continued to read. Sometimes when he laughed, her mouth would quirk up in a small smile before disappearing. Gazing up at him, she leaned over to Gir to tell him gently she will read to him later. Giving her a sad face, he hugged her.
"I will see you later, Gazzy! I'm going for tacos." Gir skipped out of there.
"Remember that I told you that I don't hate you." Gaz muttered out.
"I heard it and I'm glad of it." Zim came close to sit next to her. "I'm sorry you hate it here."
"Maybe I wouldn't hate it if I didn't have to deal with Captain Sleazy. I'm fine with Purple." Taking his appearance in right now, she grinned. "I'm more than fine now with sharing a bed with you."
Wiping a mock sweat off his brow, he leaned back. "Whew! Glad to hear that last part. I don't want to lose any of my Zimness with you."
Laughing at his ego, she hit him playfully. "I doubt you will. Your ego is... Incredibly annoying."
"I confronted him. He won't tell me plainly that he will because he knows that once he does, he is caught for treason, so he knows how to work his way around things. He did tell me that he had a feeling you would be trading up soon." Zim informed her.
"It will be a matter of time for him, Zim. Either that or I'll just punch him." Coming closer to him she removed his shirt. "I did trade up and you need to clean up." Removing his pants, she smiled up at him before standing up and tossing the pants in his face. "Come with me and join me for some clean up."
Late at night while Dib was asleep, Tak was on the couch going through some research when she saw something that made her almost curse out loud before falling back in silence. This wasn't good at all, but at the same time it was.
