Think I'm not surprised I went into that direction either, Invader Johnny? Because I was. Somehow it flowed that way. The story.
Me2U2= Yeah I want to hit Red
Ngrey - They lost their father in a lab accident. Not by Zim's doing. If I never made myself clear there, then I apologize. Also I knew you would be reviewing that chapter. I should of offered you a cookie. As for the other things... Wait for it. You may like or not. I don't claim to be a terrific writer and if everyone wrote exactly what someone wanted then everyone would have the same ol' fan fiction.
There was so much humming. The room was comfortable in temperature. Sleep is for the weak and not needed when not needed so therefore the pak doesn't need it right now. That was a stupid thought process that last one. It felt like something was weighing her down. Something cold around her wrists and ankles, but at least something warm around her waist. I feel air brushing against my skin. Not a little bit of it. Just the big part of it. Why, can't I open my eyes? Why isn't my pak doing anything but allowing me to live?
Tak was groaning feeling her head go back and forth as her teeth gritted. What hit her? Last thing she remembered was going into the lab in the basement, then she was gone. Is she dead? Her hands are above her head come to think about it. Why do I feel so stupid right now?
"What happened?" Her eyes were still closed as she asked this. She really wasn't expecting an answer, but she received it in the most unhappiest of ways.
"The lab is booby trapped. Only family is allowed down here. Any one else not authorized gets knocked out by the self-defense systems."
Straining to open her eyes, her vision was still hazy, and burned but she was determined to glance in the direction of his voice. "Dib?"
"Of course its me. You know it's me, Tak."
The way he spoke her name sounded like he was cursing her name. This made her wince before falling under.
For Dib, he sat in the corner patiently waiting for her to wake up again. His eyes burned for an entirely different reason as he grinded his teeth.
Gaz stayed in the tub for so long, she still didn't feel clean. She knew Zim was pacing around in the other room and mumbling to himself. They both swore vengeance. They didn't know how, but he even managed to cover evidence of him inside of her even though they confirmed something recent occurred. They noted the scent, and Zim had Gir in the living area guarding their chambers alongside the Computer so he can speak to the Control Brains. Something that obviously proved useless because he was out there pacing and she was still in here soaking.
"Zim." Her voice was so low. So hoarse, she wondered if he could hear her, but he did when he entered. "I still don't feel clean."
Grimacing at that, he knelt down next to her. "I wish I can take everything back."
"Zim, I know you are blaming yourself, but this isn't your fault."
"Yes, but Gaz..."
Reaching out to cup his face between her hands, she repeated, "This isn't your fault."
"Is there anything I could do for you right now?"
She thought about it knowing what she needed right now. "Just hold me."
Glancing inside the tub, he said, "You are still in there."
"Yes, and you are still my husband, correct? So even though I won't be doing that one thing for a while, I still want to be held by you. Please join me."
Taking a deep breath, he stood up removing his clothing before slipping in behind her letting her lean back against his chest. "I love you."
Damn him! When the hell did her heart start showing dents in it? She still refused to say it out loud even as she closed her eyes to lean against his chest.
The second time, Tak woke up her eyes were less hazy as she peered down the length of her body to notice something completely horrifying besides being more than aware of the fact that she truly was chained down.
"Dib, why am I naked and chained to this table?" She asked as she tested her bonds.
"You should know, Tak." Came his cryptic answer.
Glancing to look in the direction of his voice, she could only make out his legs while the rest was in darkness. "No, Dib I don't. Why?" She demanded.
"How stupid do you think I am, Tak? I mean seriously. How stupid do you think I am?" Dib bit out as he stood up.
"What kind of question is that? Of course I don't think your stupid."
His laughter was nothing but sarcasm as he walked over to her to lean over her while resting one hand on the other side of her body. "Is going back to the Empire so important that you would sell out the one person who truly cared about you?"
Her eyes went wide. How did he find out? "Dib, you don't understand."
"Oh I don't? I don't at all? What the hell kind of fool do you take me for?" He spat out. "You used me."
"Dib I haven't sent anything to them. I haven't. I swear."
"But you were." He countered coming close to her face. "Yes, I saw it. I saw your transmission." Seeing her struggle again, he shook his head at her. "Don't bother, Tak. I have learned how to render your pak useless in aiding you. Also those bindings around you are courtesy of your very own race. Don't think I never studied."
"I know you have. I always known you were intelligent."
Glancing at his watch, he quickly grew annoyed with this conversation. "I have something to do at the office. Even if you did manage to break out of that, I still have the system armed."
"Why am I naked though?" She asked perplexed.
"While my feelings weren't fake about you I won't deny about wanting to see you naked a while longer. It is unlike me, but I never thought I would fall for an alien in my life."
The way he answered her she didn't know whether to be flattered or something in the range of why was she thinking that?
In truth, Dib didn't need to go to the office, he ended up heading upstairs when he got an unfamiliar chirp from his own computer. Going into his bedroom, he activated the camera to show Tak downstairs still. It was perverted in a sense to do that, but he was truly upset at her. Glancing back to his computer he spotted an odd icon on the screen. "Run a diagnostic on this." He gave as his command. The computer informed him no virus and location of transmission was outer space. Biting his lip, he pressed the icon to find himself waiting for something. Of course that something made him smile. "Gaz!"
"Hey Genius." She greeted back. "You actually look good for once in your life."
"Ha ha. Also my head is normal size." He joked back.
"Well Zim kept this promise, One day I'll actually see you face to face so I can punch you."
"I love how you love your brother." Studying her face, she didn't look so happy. "Is there something wrong? It isn't your usual biting commentary to me."
"Honestly, Zim has been great with me. I'm going through some space madness because all I see is space and more space, but yeah something happened while Zim was away on a tiny mission."
Dib studied how she folded her legs towards her chest, and hugged her knees. She was truly upset. "Gaz, you can say anything to me."
"While he was away, Zim, I was drugged and..." She made hand movements to indicate what she meant as tears fell down her face. "We know who it is, but this guy is so good at covering himself. He has already threatened Zim's death. He has already told me that he won't be around forever so... He told me that one day I will be trading up. I see it is tearing Zim apart right now. He feels he failed me, but we had no idea that would happen."
"Where is Zim right now?"
"Besides demanding a new bed for us to sleep on, because we refuse to be on that one anymore. He is confronting Red about this. I know Purple will be there." Clearing her throat, she explained. "It is Red who did this. Purple has been nothing but nice with me. A gentleman basically. I have Computer and Gir, although Gir fell asleep again, looking after me. It is either this or kill him out right."
Dib hit the side of his face. "I can't believe I'm gonna say this, but I need to speak to Zim as well. Not only about you, but it does have something to do with this Red character."
Glancing at the screen, he saw Tak at least stopping her struggling.
"Will you be around the house?"
"Oh yeah. I'll be downstairs in the lab, but will rush back up here to talk to you again. I missed you. I even miss your punches." Dib replied smiling.
"Wow! You are sick if you like being punched so badly." She mocked. "We'll call you back once he is back in the room."
"Gaz, one more question. Are you happy with Zim?"
Gaz smiled at the tone of his voice. "At first, no, because of all that happened. Now besides this incident, he makes me happy. Just don't tell him this yourself. I need to be the one to say it."
"Okay. Call me back. Love you."
"Yeah, yeah I feel the same way about you. Later." Gaz cut the transmission out as she turned to look at the sleeping Gir. "Silly stupid robot."
