Me2U2 = Yep they finally caught him.
Invader Johnny - Funny how I didn't catch the similarity of that when I was writing Dib's frustration.
Everclear = Dib has had it up to here with Invader shenanigans! :P
It had been five whole days since they went to Planet Judgementia. Dib was closely approaching, and while Zim and Purple were eating and drinking with horrible satisfaction, Gaz sat there watching them go on like they just exited Mensa. While in the end it was pretty cut in dry the judgement of Red with the recordings and Zim walking in on him, everything else was a three ring circus.
Gaz groaned. "That was far stupider then what I've seen on Earth."
"What do you mean, Gaz-love? We won. VICTORY FOR... US!" He almost said his name.
"It was... Yeah, splendid." Purple chimed him happily. "Now I don't have a megalomaniac next to me anymore."
Gaz's eyes flashed from one face to another. "Purple, in all due respect... Zim is a megalomaniac as well. A bit more tolerable, but he is one."
Purple turned to study Zim before shrugging. "Eh. I'll live."
Sighing, Gaz leaned her head back. "Why do I bother?"
"Because you love me." Zim pointed out.
"You ever notice I never said that to you." Gaz countered back as they heard an alert.
"Oh what now? I was just enjoying myself." Purple whined.
"My Tallests! Membrane's ship is approaching!" The Computer alerted.
Getting up, Gaz muttered something about being so happy to see her brother again. Zim informed the Computer where he can dock so he can board the ship. Getting up himself, he placed a gentle hand on her back to lead her to the area he will disembark. On the way down, it was just him and her walking making him whisper, "Why can't you say it to me just once, Gaz?"
"Does it even matter, Zim?"
"It would be nice to hear." Zim replied as they stopped in the safe area. "I know you don't hate me."
Gaz barely glanced at him when Dib appeared out of the doorway with Tak beside him. Dib took one look at Gaz and let go of Tak's arm so they can approach one another. Dib beaming at her while Gaz barely smirked.
"You still look beautiful, sis." Dib stated not caring if she growled at him for hugging her.
Gaz didn't wish to admit it again, but she did miss him. Annoying behavior and all. "Your ship made pretty good timing."
"Everyone did a great job on it." Dib barely glanced over at Tak who was brought aside to talk to Zim.
"Would you like to re-join us?" Zim asked.
Tak fought the urge to glance back at Dib. "It would be nice."
"We won't access your pak again. Especially like that." Zim assured her.
"I hope not." Tak walked a little further away to give Dib more privacy. "What would you do if she didn't want to see you again, Zim?" She asked suddenly.
"I know how it feels to actually die." He replied honestly as he examined Gaz as she spoke to Dib. "I love her very much."
Gently placing his hands on her arms, Dib studied Gaz's eyes. "Gaz, do you still want to stay with him? I really want to take you away from this, and I was going to without asking, but now I have to."
"He honestly loves me, Dib. His methods were unorthodox in the beginning, but he does love me." Gaz answered. "I haven't admitted it to him how I feel. Pride and all, but I know that it feels right when he kisses me. What about you? Do you love her?"
"I do, but what she did hurt too damn much, Gaz. It really is like a second betrayal. First one when she arrived on the planet to befriend me and then... That."
"Thing is this, she has been the only girl you have ever wanted to be with. I'm not an idiot, Dib. I hide my feelings better than anyone. You can't." Gaz told him before whispering, "It is your choice on what you want to do next, but at least talk to her one more time."
Dib glanced up to see Tak covering her eyes, and hunched over making Zim look a bit too uncomfortable. Was she crying? Walking past his sister, he went walking up to her noticing Zim pointing to a room they can talk to. Dib bet it was to safe from feeling more uncomfortable. Nodding his head, he stood in Zim's place bending to take her hand in his to escort her into the offered room. Closing the door, he noticed that in fact she did shed something of a tear like substance. Real tears would of burned them.
"Tak, I really don't know where to begin right now."
She hated showing weakness, but in a way she knew he would forgive her there for doing so. It was something she admired about him. "I love you, Dib. You may hate me right now, but I do. I really do." Bowing her head down she started to cry again. "I understand why you don't want to see me anymore, but I really hope that one day you can forgive me."
Dib stared at her completely unmoving before this tingle emerged from his feet and shot up to his face. "FUCK!" Stomping on the ground. "Why? Fuck!"
Tak didn't know how to take this. Also neither did Zim when he heard the outburst in the room in front of him. Glancing over at Gaz in question when she joined him, he mouthed a question to her making her chuckle.
"Dib's weakness. Apparently me and her. Two different reasons of course." She replied pinching his butt. "He asked me if I want to go with him. Zim I'm staying with you, but I still want to see him again. That includes face to face."
Grinning, Zim lifted her up in his arms to kiss her. "You will, Gaz-love. Promise."
"Put. Me. Down. Now. Zim." Gaz gritted out. "Do that in the privacy of our room only."
Meanwhile, Dib was pacing inside the room. He was confused and pissed at her at the same time. He loved her and wanted to also not see her at the same time. "Ugh." He growled finally giving up to sit down almost nearly tearing his hair out. "Fuck."
She went to him tentatively to place a hand on his shoulder. "Am I really that bad? Stupid question considering, but you know I didn't lie about every single thing. Just one thing."
"That one thing is what is making it so damn hard for me. What is to say you won't do that again to me? You have already used me once before and then you did it again." His eyes bore right through her. "How am I to trust you after this? Tell me. I'm the one who loves here not you. Not after what you did."
A single tear fell down her face. "I do love you though. I will always want you."
"Fuck." Shaking his head, his desire to take her back with him, and to toss her away at the same time was so strong. "You are a conundrum."
"If I can have your smeets, I would like that."
"Oh you are killing me." Growling he had to get away from her.
Tak watched him storm away from her. She knew she lost him and she deserved it. Bowing her head back down, she glanced outside the window hearing a beep from the door making her squeeze her eyes shut to the point she didn't register him turning her around to face him.
"We'll see one another again one day. Just give me time."
"Dib, what are you saying?" She grasped him.
"Call me a sucker, but I have really strong feelings for you. During that whole invasion thing with all those girls tossing themselves in my bed, I didn't want to deal with that so Gaz did by making them leave. Gaz knew there was only one female that I cared for. Why did it have to be the enemy? Stupid cliche crap." Dib snickered at that absurd thought.
Smiling up at him, she wanted to grab him to kiss him. "Sorry my ship attacked you before. You know how hostile I am."
"It wouldn't be you."
When they emerged from the room after their long talk, Dib was rather amused to see Zim and Gaz on the floor looking bored. Really Zim was almost drooling in boredom, while Gaz had one of his pak legs out picking at something on her hand. Zim really must of been out of it or really did love Gaz to tolerate her doing that without bitching about germs. Gaz did turn her head to look at Zim though.
"So... Your smell is better than mines." She said.
"They didn't mate. Thank Irk for that." Zim sneered at Dib while helping her up.
Tak stepped forward. "I'm staying here. In time I will go to Earth or maybe he'll see me."
"That is some serious long distance there." Gaz mused.
"One day. Not now." Dib corrected. "I still need time."
"You are my brother-in-law so I guess it is fine if you visit." Zim informed him just enjoying his little jab.
A jab that made Dib's face drop even lower. "Ass." Zim merely shrugged.
Shrugging herself, Gaz studied her brother. "Time to leave?"
"Yeah. I have tons of work to do at home, and I hope we talk soon, Gaz." Dib replied.
"We will. Have a safe ride back." Being un-Gaz like again, she hugged him.
"Love you, sis. Zim take care of her or I'll kill you."
"Pfft. As if I'd ever harm her." Zim snorted.
Taking Tak's hand, he led her close to the dock doors to lean in close to her as he whispered in length before bringing her in for a hug. He'll miss her. He'll miss Gaz. He'll...
*RING!*
