Had so much fun doing anything on my computer for the past few days so that's why I didn't update.
Thanks for the kind reviews and reads. As for the flame I received, while I appreciate you reading you need to understand that expression "If you have nothing good to say then don't say anything at all." In any case I wish you nothing but good.
So begins Part 2 where the actual Invasion begins. No dream involved this time, but in upcoming chapters, Dib will start noticing some similarities between the dream and what is happening. The M rating is for several reasons so this isn't a Disney adventure. Although that Small World ride still scares the holy hell out of me. Creepy ass dolls.
It was almost reaching a year when the invasion started. The Armada was spread out throughout the entire planet. That annoying network that Dib was a part of was doing a bit of a better job of defending themselves than other planets Irkens have ever invaded in the past. It was most likely because of Dib. Zim would snarl out his name when he spoke it out loud. Sneered it when he just thought it. His name was more like a curse to him. How he wished he could of destroyed him so many years ago. If he did would he have an easier time getting to her? Possibly not. Gaz was extremely strong minded. Powerful. Something he admired greatly in her. Loved about her even. But since that time in their home, when he parted ways with them, and laid eyes on her, he had not seen her since.
Out of anyone in that network, he knew that Dib was the one leading up the charge since he had so much knowledge of him. That moron would be 19 or 20 at least, not like he cared, but it helped establish a timeline at times. That stink monster was out there, but he kept himself cleverly hidden away to the point no one ever saw him, but he was heard from. He made sure of it. Whenever, Zim was feeling like they got him, he'd end up giving him a secure transmission that was mostly a big middle finger to him. It irritated him to no end. He always wanted to go down there to kill something personally after those transmissions.
What made it worse was there was no word from Gaz. No one seen her face or heard from her. The Membrane siblings pictures were out there for all the Armada to see. The order of never to kill her was still in place even though he never doubted she wouldn't think twice about stopping herself from killing someone herself. She was always ruthless, and in that moment in that house when he tried to take her away he found a vulnerability. Something he was sure she would hate herself for showing. Did she ever have a clue how much when he closed his eyes he would see her and even hear her? Possibly not and she probably would tell him she wouldn't care. She just wanted to show her hatred. She was more of a master of it than himself. Something he won't admit himself.
"If you don't stop looking at me now, Zim I will rip your eyes out and feed them to the dog down the street." Gaz growled out.
She was so busy playing her game that he had no clue she noticed him staring at her, but he wouldn't let her know that he was in fact staring at her. "I don't know what you mean, little Gaz when I was simply just enjoying my mashed po-tay-toes."
Still focused on her game, she made a sound that could of been a laugh, but he wasn't sure. "If that's true then why don't you demonstrate your enjoyment for me."
Staring down at the obviously moving lump under him with some trepidation. "Fine, but it is only because I am still desiring this delicious... FILTH! Filled with nutrients and..." Sees the lump moving again. "Life." Seeing that she paused her game to pay him some attention, she smirked at him.
"I see the all stupid Zim is unable to go through with it." Picks back her game. "For shame."
"Oh I will eat it and you will see that I will enjoy every single deeelicious bite of it, and when you do, little Gaz, you will worship me. WORSHIP ME!" He screamed out waving his fist towards her.
"I see myself worshipping the porcelain god before you, Zim, but I dare you."
Trying to ignore that smirk, but hoping her attention was at least about to shift to adoration to him like it should do, he picked up his spork, and put a heaping pile on it. Swallowing down his nerves, he brought it to his mouth taking a deep breath in, and shoved it in. First he just chewed at it hoping it would be enough for her, but when she gave an unimpressed noise to it, he swallowed it. Zim swore he swallowed death in the worst form as it leaked into every pore of his system. Scratching his insides out prompting him to cry out and slam his head against the table several times. He heard every kid in the cafeteria laugh at him before he was able to calm down, and yell out. "I'M NORMAL!"
Most of the kids moved away from him, most said he was crazy, and gave him odd looks. Gaz was the only one who looked at him the same way. Something he was at least grateful for even though he had a feeling she wasn't impressed.
"I bet you want to go home and have your Computer pump your insides out." She said getting up. "I swear stop looking at me, Zim and next time if you want to be normal, don't act like that. Do yourself a favor because they'll take advantage of it."
"Do you want to go out with me though?"
"Hell no." Was her reply as she disappeared.
"My Tallest! We are receiving a transmission from Earth. Unknown location again." One of his helmsman announced.
It had to be him. "Put it up." Zim ordered.
Dib's face was mature now with his hair a bit longer and still wearing the same style of stupid glasses. "Zimmmmm."
"Dib." They always spoke one another's names like they were curse words. "What now, Dib?"
"Just seeing how you honestly could still be so stupid. I mean believing we would actually lead you to our own hide-out. I shouldn't be surprised since your disguise on our planet blew." Dib mocked.
Studying his background to see if he can see any type of baring of where he was, Zim merely narrowed his eyes. "The only ones who knew were you and your sister. Anyone else were just complete and utter morons. Can't say I was completely unsuccessful."
Smirking into the screen, Dib wanted to rub something in he hadn't in quite a while. "Except for one thing, Zim. I can name one thing that you were unsuccessful at."
"And what's that?"
"You will never ever have my sister." He hated to use his sister in this, but the look on Zim's face was priceless to the point it made him laugh loudly. "Enjoy yourself, Zim."
Zim fumed as the screen went blank. "GET A LOCK ON THAT TRANSMISSION AND DO IT NOW!" He will end, Dib-stinks life and he will do it soon.
"I'm certain I could locate the human. You know I don't have much problems there." Noted a snide british sounding voice as she climbed up on the bridge in almost the snottiest of ways.
Sneering over at her, he snarled out, "I didn't summon you, Tak."
"I know, but aren't you bored being on this planet for this long, Zim?" She casually spoke.
Coming forward, he continued to snarl at her, "You are not to address me in that way ever again, Tak. Also there is a reason why you were as far from me as possible."
Leaning against the railing, she smirked at him. "Oh I know why and you should realize something about some Earth sayings."
"Such as what? Besides me wanting to kick you in a pile of horse manure."
Making a very disgusted face at that thought, she approached him. "Moth to the flame, Zim. You are the moth being attracted to your flame which is, Gaz. Do you remember how Dib was attracted to me?"
Chuckling, he almost hit her for being so stupid. "Do you remember how you wanted to destroy the Earth and came close to it and he helped me stop it? Do you believe he would come to you like that again?"
Frowning, Tak had no clue, but the ones she surrounded herself in Europe were tiring to her making her wish to settle an old score with Dib. "Fine! I will go back to where you had me before. Just remember what I said."
"I want to scrub the bridge clean of her." Zim muttered to himself before his eyes closed to think of his little Gaz. This is what Dib wanted. He wanted this invasion. Does he regret it now? He wondered.
The training room was darkened but he knew the presence in there. He knew how it stared at him more malevolent than anything he has ever met before, and he was related to her. Her mood was sifting out of there to the point he could feel it clear across town now. Growing up with her, he was accustomed to her moods, but now it felt more dangerous. He couldn't hear her breathing. Gaz always knew how to be quiet. She was far better at keeping quiet than anyone else he ever knew. She was also a far better trainer than himself which made their group outlast any other. She never took any prisoners. As he thought of her, he felt the strongest hit in the gut by one of the weight balls. She never let you know what she was thinking of doing even if you did see her in the full light, which now lately no one hardly did.
"You spoke to him again, didn't you?"
Also her voice more now than before made you want to run away and scream. Dib had to face her when she was angry, but this made him almost run. "I had to."
"Why?"
"He gets off his game when you taunt him." He replied simply earning him another hit in the gut.
"You are as crazy as him, Dib. You know that he also can get more insane which causes more destruction or the other way around... He accomplishes his goal."
"His goal is to have you. You heard him yourself." He should of put the light on, but she ruled this area so she always kept the light switch remote with her.
"I did and I would of gone with him..."
"Gaz!"
Turning the lights on then, he backed away from her, she had her warning stance as she simple stood above him looking down. All the males were in awe of her and also frightened of her at the same time. She was the best of both worlds that she managed perfectly in their opinion. She was deadly and beautiful. Dib hated to admit that his sister was beautiful. Deadly, he already knew that beforehand. Sitting down in front of him, she had one leg up with her knee to her chest with the other dangling to the ground as she studied him.
"You have to stop flying off the handle, Dib and let me finish. I would of gone with him if I was wired more correctly inside."
"I think you are since you are here with me and not him." He honestly didn't understand.
"Come closer to me, oh brother of mines."
Dib was startled with how she said that. She looked like a snake ready to strike at him. "I think I'm fine here."
Narrowing her eyes, she quickly snatched him by the collar of his neck, and brought him forward. "Let me be clearer here. It is not a surprise that something is strange about me. I am twisted. I am things that scare others. I really don't mind it. Few things disturb me. You wanting me to eat you when you were first starting to turn into bologna, was creepy. Mom and dads death is another thing although we aren't surprised with dad's. I don't want a relationship. EVER. I don't want them. I don't think I will because I don't feel the need for them at all. I'm content with being by myself."
"That's why you didn't go with him? Because of that last reason?"
"Hard to explain. How would they feel that I'm the reason this whole thing is still happening? I know they won't like it just as much as you knowing that I kissed Zim."
"Seriously why did you?"
"He was right there." She replied giving him the lamest reason ever. "Tell me, Dib. Are you going to keep me locked up inside simply because of what he wants? Do you realize what this is doing to me right now? Do you realize how much I want to tear something apart? You know how I get, Dib. You want to chance this any longer?"
"I love you. Your my sister and I saw the look in your face in the hallway. I can't erase that."
Studying her brother's face, she pushed him away from her. She wasn't blind but that angered her. "How can you love someone so fucking damaged like myself? What the hell is your problem, Dib? After all the shit I've done to you and you still want to protect me. I don't deserve it." Yes, she was wired wrong making her storm out of the room into the main area seeing how everyone automatically parted like the red sea to give her a passage. Hissing, she ended up walking outside the main door into the stairway sitting down once she went mid-way to the point she spotted a guard leaning casually to the side.
"Oh, hey Gaz."
"Brian." She curtly greeted back.
"What I wouldn't do for pizza right about now."
Hearing her stomach, she groaned, "Well gee, thanks for torturing my stomach right now. I thought you were one of the last people I could depend on."
"You could. I won't pester you as much as your brother would or how Zim did." Brian pointed out in a bored way. Seeing her questioning expression, he answered, "Being someone like myself, you observe a lot. I'm also not blind to the fact that you both are the main reason why he has staked out this section. Don't worry, I won't mention this to anyone else."
Gaz fumed silently before finally speaking again. "I want to kill something."
It may appear that Gaz was just being a total and complete bitch to Dib, and in a way yes, but really read the last thing she says to her brother and think really hard. There are people with deep psychological conditions that are wired so wrong that even though they do see that someone cares for them they absolutely just can't comprehend it to the point of it that they react negatively. To Dib's credit at least he constantly tries to reach out to her because of his never ending devotion. Guess what, there are relationships like this in sibling world. Scary, yes?
